Tungsten has been a wonderful resource for our family over the past few years! Sheena has a great way of targeting just the right supports need and identifying perfect Tungsten tutor to help fill that need. Our first experience was with Caitlin who worked with our son over a several months to strengthen his Spanish skills. This place is very much worth it. The people there are extremely nice, they are caring, they want you to succeed. They give you practice tests, they teach you techniques on how to improve your score, etc. I came here to better prepare me for the ACT. On the first practice test, I got a 15. But as the tests went by, I started to improve and on my last practice test, I got a 31. When it was time to take the actual ACT, I ended up getting a 30 on it and it got a lot of colleges attentions. This program changed my life for the better and I would recommend going here for tutoring help. You wont regret it.

My daughter Summer got tutoring with a wonderful tutor for her SAT Test. It was 8 weeks long and it was remote sessions. I feel very lucky to have heard the great word-of-mouth about Tungsten Prep just in time, as I was looking over ACT test prep tutoring options from the big players (and others) in the test-prep industry. Sarah, the owner of Tungsten, handles all the ACT test prep herself, and her approach, as a content-tutor more than a testing coach, was just what I wanted for my son. She came to our place, working with incredible flexibility and good cheer, around our schedule, and was always a helpful and encouraging presence. Our son struggled in AP biology, so we were anxious about how he would do on the AP exam. We tried one tutor but he did not seem to connect with her and his AP biology grades did not improve. Over the past 6 years, between SSATs, ACTs and SATs, we have tried everything, and we have had some disasters (the prep place losing scores, hiring tutors who do not show up or are extremely inexperienced, giving the wrong score sheet, forgetting to give our child the final section of a practice test, being inflexible with sickness or emergency plans and charging us anyway, or being rude about time schedules and offering us slots as late as 9pm for 6th graders!). Given our experience, we know a good standardized test group when we see one. Sarah and her team are extremely reasonably priced and incredibly effective.
