Jen is an amazing tutor. She helped me raise my ACT by 5/6 points and helped me achieve a really good score in the Math 2 subject test.She is a friendly, passionate, and most importantly, an approachable tutor. Throughout the whole process, she becomes your friend and guides you through what can be a stressful process. Her funny stories, relaxed demeanor, and her guided meditation sessions make the standardized testing process much more manageable. Her love of tutoring really shines through. She really cares for each of her students and wants to help them do the best that they can.Her methods may be a bit unorthodox, but they are definitely effective. She may force you to solve problems the way she wants, what she calls her Jen-isms, but at the end of the day, they work. Just trust the process, and by the end, you will be so well prepared to take the test.Her office can also sometimes be a bit messy, but don’t let that turn you off, she always knows exactly where the perfect ACT packet or worksheet is.I can confidently say that Jen is the best tutor I have ever had. Cannot recommend enough!

My daughter was tutored at Adept Prep and she had remarkable results. Her ACT scores increased by more than 5 points. In addition, her tutor, Max, assisted her in writing her essay for college admission. Jen also suggested further resources outside of Adept Prep that were very helpful. The administrative staff was responsive in setting up her appointments and flexible with her school schedule. I highly recommend this organization for any level of high school student.

We had a great experience at AdeptPrep for two very different kids. Both my teens loved working with Jen and had great ACT results with low stress. The improvement in scores was dramatic (in one case 6 ACT points) and Jens personal rapport with kids largely eliminated the normal complaints about test tutoring.

I went to Adept Prep and tutored with Max to improve my english section of the SAT. He was an amazing help and the program helped me improve my reading score by 110 points. I ended up getting a 1580 on the test and it would have been impossible without the amazing help of adept prep. i highly recommend the program for anyone looking to improve their math or reading skills and am thankful for what they have done for me.

AdeptPrep gave me incredible tutoring for the ACT as well as helped guide me through my final years in high school. Jen has become a great mentor and friend of mine that I still keep in contact with. Jen is definitely the best math tutor Ive ever worked with! Shes genuinely excited to work with her students and is always ready to tackle whatever assignment I bring to her. Actually, sometimes her methods seem crazy but they actually work, I promise (ask her about the blah method).
