Wow! What can I say. Platinum Dwellings has been phenomenal. Kara and her team are a wealth of knowledge. She takes her time to understand the clients situation & takes it from there and I was NEVER disappointed. After my last encounter with another company, I was overly involved but she understood and was so patient. I think shell be happy to hear that I feel I can relax now. I totally recommend their services.

We have used Platinum Dwellings for 2 years for our Airbnb duplex in Dc. In particular we have been very pleased Kara who has managed everything. This requires many bookings, an attentive staff and a crew to make sure the home meets guests standards. We have been very impressed and would recommend their services to anyone.

Kara Davis, youre my hero! The whole team at Platinum surprised me this past month by stepping in and helping me resolve a tense situation with my tenants. I was at my wits end when we signed on and just in time.Right away they took over communicating with the tenants, coordinating maintenance and rent collection, and by the end of the month the problem tenants moved out amicably and without any damages to the property.Wish I could say 6 stars!

I wish I could say I had I memorable experience.As a landlord.. What I will say is Kara was not always responsive which was very unfortunate. This company did not perform how I expected them to. I had to jump in a settle most issues with my renters... in fact I closed out my own renters lease and performed the walkthrough. The management company asked me for my findings through the walkthrough... something is wrong here!! Isn’t that what I pay you guys to do... I also closed out the lease and Platinum failed to calculate interest on the renters security deposit which is spelled out in the lease..This is what I paid Platinum Dwelling to handle.I was not 100% satisfied with the service so much that I had to write this review which I never do.Just thought others should know my personal experience.Stay safe everyone.

Platinum Dwellings Property Management came to my rescue at one of the lowest points in my life, 3 years ago when I was planning to give up as a Landlord. I had previous tenants that literally destroyed my condo apart from being inhabitable. They were, pardon my expression the tenants from Hell! They had drug activity, fighting, terrorizing neighbors, constant police visits just to let them back in after going to court. Eviction was near impossible in the winter by State code. They continued to destroy my property from the front door to the back bedroom including floors, walls and carpets etc. Platinum Dwellings found me once they had vacated the premises. I thought they were a scam, “too good to be true” but to my surprise they were a blessing in disguise. Kara Davis the Manager and her team renovated the whole condo with their maintenance crew. She listed my property and was very selective with choices, the tenants she interviewed including doing a back ground check to include any criminal activity. Platinum Dwellings has a user friendly website whereby you can interactively see your account/maintenance activity on your property. The Rent is directly deposited in your account promptly every month. During this time I lost my mother but never had to lift a finger to worry about the Condo or maintenance needed. I just sat back and let Platinum Dwellings take care of everything for the condo. I live in Virginia and the Condo is in Maryland, no more long trips for me. I thank God for Platinum Dwellings and I recommend them to anyone and everyone, they will put your mind at ease. All of my future properties will be ran by Platinum Dwellings as well as the one they currently manage. There aren’t enough stars to express my utmost appreciation for Kara and her team.

As I first time landlord, my experience with Platinum Dwellings has been stellar! I figured getting my condo to rent during Covid-19 would be impossible, but we were able to find great tenants! Their processes were easy to understand and they walked me through everything step by step. If you’re looking for a management company look no further!

I have been a self managed landlord for the last 13 years and platinum dwellings is my first encounter with a property management crew and am very dissatisfied... it’s one of the worst experiences I’ve had in my life with regards to customer service and accountability for my asset which is my rental home... I’ve been signed with this company since December 2018 an have not been at ease since then... we currently have a tenant that is entering closely into 4 months of none payment and this company has not been communicating on a timely manner with this process... every month am calling to find out the status of my rent.... no calls nor emails are made to me to give updates... come on I shouldn’t have to beg for an update via a call.... there should be an ongoing communication from this company as to updates.... now am told there’ll be a scheduled eviction I’ll get the date.... what about my $1800 per moth for the last 4 month.... I’ve been paying a mortgage and this company seem not to be making my restless nights for the last 3.5 months any easier...... this platform is my last resort.I do not recommend this company to any of my fellow Landlords....I will sure be taking my business somewhere else where I can be treated as a valued customer.

Platinum Dwellings made the transition to using a property manager easy. When my tenants were vacating, I no longer lived in the area and knew I needed to seek assistance. Right from the beginning, the staff was timely and professional. I recommend them to anyone considering hiring a property manager.

Staff is amazing after we found our flow. Initially, I was frustrated with that software & thought the turnaround time to requests were taking too long. Eventually got the hang of the software and realized that I was always initiating contact during their busiest time. Its been 3 years and I couldnt be happier. I respect and appreciate you guys.

Im a rookie investor and they have managed my Maryland properties for over 3 years. I have never had any issues. I tried to self-manage but ran into a number of issues and decided self management was not for me. I have great tenants in all of my units, get my funds on time and am now owning with practically no involvement. All of the staff that I have interacted with is pleasant and resourceful. The year-end reports are a nice touch - I have everything I need for my tax filings in one report.

My 1st tenant just completed a 2 year lease with Platinum Dwellings and they are extremely responsive. They go out of their way to make sure that the tenant is satisfied which converts to timely rent payments. I have now experienced property management excellence. I highly recommend their services.

I signed a contract with this company in March 2019 to manage a property I own with a difficult tenant inherited from a previous management company. After working with them for about 6 months, they simply stopped returning my calls, emails, and attempts to correspond on the TenantCloud (their preferred means of communication). It’s the end of January 2020 and I haven’t heard from them in 4 months, and because I don’t live in DC, I now have to fly to DC to check on the status of the property.

Platinum Dwellings is an AMAZING company!! Shannon Alva was great with keeping open communication on our process with renting the house. She took her time and made sure we completed the paperwork properly. Kara Davis is an Angel!! She went above and beyond for us. She treat us as if she was moving in with us. All our issues was addressed and in a timely matter. If it was not for this company we would not have kept the house. They was fair, honest, and timely. Thank you ladies!!!!

I am transferring out of state for work and needed a property manager for my condo. I found them on google and they have definitely lived up to my expectations. Kara Davis, Director of Operations was very professional and knowledgeable about the process. However, the staff is extremely slow in responding to phone calls and requests that are time sensitive. It takes a long time to follow through on requests.
