I would advise you to not do any business with Margaret Lamberton Real Estate, because she is not responsive to calls or e-mails. She kept mixing my phone number up. She did find me a renter, but had to make several calls to her, which she never answered also sent e-mails that she did not responded to. I final had to track down her assistant (Brittany) to get the Security Deposit that was due to me. Also due to me was a few dollars because the renter moved in a few day earlier than lease started - Again called Margaret regarding this and no answer to my calls or e-mails. I also tried call Brittany her assistant and no answer at all.

Id suggest if you do any work for this company to get paid in full before you do the work. 1 year later still havent been paid for an outstanding invoice.

I had the worst experience with this real-estate office. I have rented an apartment through them for one year and moved out of it 6 months ago and they didn’t give me my security deposit back. I have tried to call and email them million times but no one responded. I will never recommend this office to anyone looking for an apartment in DC.
