I had to visit K Street dental for an urgent matter while I was traveling on business. The team was stellar in helping me set up an appointment so last-minute, and incredibly kind and helpful in resolving the issue promptly. The chairside manner of both the hygienist and the dentist were like nothing Ive ever experienced. If I lived in D.C. full-time, I would absolutely make K Street Dental my primary dentist resource!

K St dental is a consistently high quality operation. The customer service skills of all staff is focused on the health and well being of their clientele. In 10 years I have always been taken in on time. Everyone has always been friendly. Recently increased Infection Prevention procedures are at or above ADA CDC recommendations. I would recommend K St. Dental to everyone.

Folks are nice and personable but they have very restricted and very inconvenient appointment times that makes kids have to miss school or wait more than a month(s) for appointments. Ortho Dr. is only in office once or twice per week. If I had known this I would have gone elsewhere.

K Street Dental takes strict COVID safety precautions. The staff takes your temperature when you enter and asks you to use the shoe disinfectant mat. The staff don face shields, face masks, gloves, and gowns. Everything ran on time and smoothly. I am always in great hands with dental hygentist Tatiana. Tatiana is patient, gentle and always has a positive attitude.

They send you text reminders before your appointment and you can schedule your appointment and do all your paperwork online ahead of time. This time I saw Dr. C and his hygienist, Tatiana, both of whom were excellent and gave me very practical advice on how to improve my dental health. Location is convenient, office is clean and pleasant.

I’m a California resident who needed emergency dental care. K street Dental was one of several offices recommended by my insurance provider. The staff gave me a warm welcome and actually went above and beyond where my dental needs were concerned. They recommended several other treatments that were required, and I decided to have them take care any urgent needs. I’m still in the process of getting treatment and every visit has been an educational experience. I’m learning things about dental care and maintenance that I’ve never been told before. This was my second visit to K Street Dental & Orthodontic Group. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I transferred from a different dentist and orthodontist and they made sure I had everything I needed to properly transfer.They also were very transparent about pricing of different services such as fillings, etc. I felt that the staff was honest and helpful, I will continue to see them in the future for regular dental checkups and work on my braces.

The dental service and front desk are always good but I have to admit they all come at a pretty hefty premium. Most times I visit I think it’s cringe worthy because there is always ‘another’ procedure that you have to get done and it’s quite often very pricey which you didn’t prepare for when heading to your appointment. I have been a loyal client over the past 2 decades but I will follow other past clients’ best advice and revisit more cost effective dental options once this current procedure is complete. I had a wonderful experience. Scheduling was easy. The dentists office had been modernized and was very clean and pleasant. The dental hygienist was very relaxed and put me at ease. She even put a TV show on the screen so I could watch a show while she did the cleaning--I LOVED this and it made the time fly by. I would definitely go back.

I appreciate the effort that K Street Dental has taken during COVID times to make getting a cleaning safe and efficient. I was seen quickly and the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth was very kind and thorough. The space was clean and welcoming, and employees were all great. A nice experience!

Friendly staff, but they kept messing up some teeth fillings. They redid them at no charge, but they didnt remove the original filling, so there are patchwork layers. Switched areas and dentists and they need to redo everything (new pains - bacteria between filling layers).

All of the staff were incredibly friendly! Both the doctor who did my x-rays and the dentist took time to answer all of my questions, and they were both very helpful. I get very anxious about dentists because as a kid, I associated the dentist with punishment, blame, and condescension. I always worry that the dentist will make me feel ashamed for every little way I’m not taking perfect care of my teeth, but that was not the case at all! The dentist was realistic about the state of my teeth without judging me for my cavities or tooth grinding. He made me feel normal instead of ashamed, and he gave me practical advice while seeming positive about the future of my teeth instead of blaming me for their imperfections or being condescending. After my appointment, one of the kind women at the front desk did an amazing job helping me with booking future appointments. My schedule made it complicated but she didn’t seem at all bothered by the time it was taking and she was super accommodating and nice about it! She also explained all of my payments really clearly to me and answered my questions about my upcoming procedures. She was really familiar with the technology/procedure and even showed me photos from the endodontist’s instagram which was awesome! I really got the sense that everyone here cares and knows what they’re doing

I have been going here for most my life. A truly amazing place with wonderful staff and a warm family feel . Yet, VERY professional services.

This was the most unprofessional dental experience I’ve ever had. All the staff seemed pretty nice. Though I strongly suspect they just want your money and keep telling you you need lots of extra services and expensive fillings. A trusted DDS - months later - told me the expensive K Street procedures were not necessary. Worst of all - K St changed my $300 treatment plan (previous $100 visit/consult w cleaning) while I was laying in the chair to a $2,100 special filling. Then, they charged me for a procedure they couldn’t finish - which FORCED me to come back for them to finish the botched job. Turns out the dental assistant who was making all the directions ‘recommendations’ is a veterinarian. But on my first visit - she asserted herself as a real dentals making all the decisions.Do not go here!!

Been a customer for years - implants, extractions, root canals, cavities, Invisalign, they’ve helped me with it all (and it’s felt like I’ve needed it all!) Most important, they helped me get into a routine that’s transformed my oral health. Very friendly and caring staff, and a very clean office. Definitely recommend them!

First off, I hate going to the dentist office but as we all know, if we want to keep your teeth there is no avoiding themAll the staff is super knowledgeable and highly trained. (I make it a habit to find out credentials for everyone who will be working on any part of my body). The hygienist was gentle, graduated top of her class and made me feel comfortable. She also finished quickly but did a better job than all of the hygienist I have had the displeasure to work with and they took longer to clean my teeth. I also enjoyed having the time to discuss general oral health and her recommendationsI enjoy efficiency so the examination was quick, precise and supplied thought points before a decision had to be made for proceeding with their recommendation.We all hate going to the dentist but this place made it less aggravating because the experience was thorough, effective and over quickly.Looking forward to my next visit.

Very kind and efficient dental hygienists!

I just moved to DC and went to k street dental once and they told me I had up to 6 cavities when I had never had one in my life. I didnt let them fill my teeth and decided to get the opinion of my hometown dentist when I visited home. He gave my teeth a extensive exam and said that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my teeth. So from my experience they tried to do unnecessary work. The reception staff and cleaning specialist were friendly though but I would not recommend going here.Edit: In response to the owner, I was recommended 2 fillings the day I came in but was told 4 other teeth may need fillings the next time I come in depending on how they progress. I should have been more clear about that and apologize if this was an embellishment.

The most unprofessional experience Ive ever had at a dentist. The dentist didnt even show up for the appointment!! Scheduled a routine clean and x-ray exam, I also had a few queries for the orthodontist. I get there, the computers were down so couldnt get an x-ray (of course, I wasnt notified of this earlier). The dental assistant cleaned my teeth. There were no dentists or orthodontists in the clinic at all!!! It was 11am!! Can you imagine that??!! The irony is that youre obligated to pay a $75 cancellation fee if you cancel within 48 hours. And yet, the dentist is free to not show up to your appointment at all, and waste your time. The staff offered to reschedule an appointment - are you kidding me??? What kind of a clinic is this?? I absolutely DO NOT recommend this clinic at all. The dentist called several hours later to apologise for not showing up to the appointment. Not good enough! With service like this, Im surprised theyre still in business.

I had MAJOR dental work done... EXTRACTIONS (a week ago).. and am having a dental plate made. I was SUPER PARANOID prior to getting the extractions. Dr. Spivak extracted the teeth PAINLESSLY. The follow-up and aftercare were/are SUPERB. I would recommend K STREET DENTAL to any and everyone who needs/desires dental care. In fact, the administrative staff was also very patient and understanding regarding my paranoia. I had not been to the dentist in years!!! I have been going to this practice since 2010 or so. Customer service was great when I started going, basically everything was great! NOT ANYMORE. I had to reschedule an appointment due to something out of my control that was work related. I offered to run there (albeit late, but still) lady was surly telling me no that they are fully booked. All I am getting done is a teeth cleaning. I have never and dont have cavities or issues, no braces. NADA. You mean to tell me they could not squeeze me in if I came and waited? She proceeded to tell me in the same breath that I was going to be charged $75 dollars and when did I want to reschedule for. NO THANK YOU. They have lost a customer. Their location is not convenient for me anymore but I was willing to continue going there because of the service I have received over the years, but the rudeness has me saying GOODBYE.

Had to get a few fillings done and it went very smoothly. I think each time I go, I have a better experience than before. Thanks again!
