I have used Think Maids for their cleaning services about 5 times now. While each cleaning has not been absolutely perfect, their personnel has done a good job of making me feel like Im coming to a clean house.HOWEVER, recently I had quite possibly the worst cleaning experience ever. The cleaner came without a vacuum (each previous time the cleaners have had a vacuum), a swiffer, broom, and some other miscellaneous items. When I asked why he didnt have a vacuum he said we dont need one if there is no carpet...........I took out my own vacuum but he didnt use it.I came back when the cleaning was done to find my apartment feeling like, well, it wasnt cleaned at all. There was lint and dirt under the bed, and it wasnt just a small area, it was a good half of the space. The same under the couch. There were SHOE MARKS all over the floor. (Who doesnt take their shoes off or bring shoe covers?!) There was also some kind of yellowish gel on the floor (see photo) that honestly looked like snot. I passed a quick swiffer in the living room area and it came out dirty (see photo). The bathtub had also not been cleaned. I basically ended up having to clean up after the cleaning service.When I texted the person that coordinated with me, she was unhelpful and unwilling to give me a full refund and offered to send the same cleaner back out (????). They ended up giving me a 30% discount - as if that makes things better after having to CLEAN UP after the cleaners.After my experience today with a poor service and poor customer service, I will not be using this service again.

Gave me an accurate quote by phone. Cleaners messaged day of to ask if they could come by earlier, or keep the previously scheduled time. Excellent cleaning and clear communication, would definitely hire again.

RUN DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM THINK MAIDS.They rescheduled with me four or five times, which resulted in them giving me a free clean, which was appreciated.Yet, during my free clean, they didn’t clean my basement because I didn’t select it as an extra. In addition the most egregious thing is that they RUINED MY BRAND NEW HARDWOOD FLOORS.I’m not sure what rose and her team did, but there are scratches upon scratches on my NEW hardwood floors. WHEN I RAISED THIS TO THEM THEY OFFERED ME COMPENSATION OF A FREE CLEAN. Are you kidding?! You ruined thousands of dollars of hardwood floors, won’t take responsibility and are offering me a free clean?!??Try spekless or another company that has an easy interface to use, but is better quality, reliable and actually honest.

Cleaning staff did not show up without any notice despite charging me for the full service 24 hours in advance. I’ve been unable to reach anyone to request a refund and will have to dispute the credit card charge. Very unprofessional - do not recommend

I’ve used them a few times before but this time was awful. The recent cleaner was completely worthless. The first cleaner texted me to reschedule and it was inconvenient but I said okay. Then she canceled, allegedly sick but obviously had a conflict since she tried to push back my appointment.They arranged another cleaner to come who barely did anything. No dusting, mopping, sink was still dirty. He liked stacked a few things in the storage room which I didn’t even expect to get cleaned which is why I blocked it off. There wasn’t even a clean smell like I’ve had from every other cleaner and from cleaning myself.Then I ask for a partial refund and they say they want to send him out again. Like I’d let him in my apartment again.

Very disappointed with this service the tops of dressers were still dusty. Bathrooms looked untouched. Left dirt on the floor. This service is overpriced and they underdelivered. I could not even tell the house was cleaned. Would not recommend this place to my enemies.

I was really disappointed by the quality of our “deep clean.” They sent a single person to do our one bedroom condo and it is clear that she wasn’t really interested. She brought very few cleaning supplies and no tools—she used our vacuum (which was fine, except that she didn’t empty the canister when she was done)—and spent well under 2 hours working. She left streaks on the mirrors and the stainless steel appliances, dirt on the living room rug, dust on the ceiling fan and the wood floors in the living room, cat barf on the kitchen floor (it was dry and vacuumed up easily), and she failed to wipe down the cabinets in the kitchen (the one service I specifically requested). She didn’t vacuum the sofa or chair in the living room, either, certainly something I consider part of a deep clean. To make things worse, no one from the company has responded to my concerns . I suggest you think hard before choosing thinkmaids.

My cleaner, Rose, never showed up as promised, and when I tried calling Jackie to find out what was going on, I never heard back from her either. This was after being rescheduled twice. I will never use them again, and I wouldnt recommend them to others.

They were at my apartment early, did a great job, and it only took 2.5 hours!! Move out clean! Very well done, and Im super happy!

Overall Id say the service was fine. For a move out package I was surprised to still have a lot of soap scum on the shower doors (I had to scrub a lot of it off myself) and the floors looked clean but left our bare feet pretty dirty after walking around on it. It got the job done but I expected more.

My husband bought a deep clean for me for my birthday and it turned out to be a disaster. Not only did we not get a “deep clean” job but the maid exchanged her mangled phone charger with one of ours and flushed a TON of paper towels down our toilets. We had to call a plumber only a week later to the tune of $600 to snake our pipes!If you want a job done by thinkmaids, be sure you have an extra few hundred for a plumber afterwards.

One of the best deep cleanings Ive ever gotten. Showed it off on Facebook and everything. Was happy for the rest of the day just being in such a clean and fresh environment.

Thinkmaids not only did not come to a cleaning I had scheduled, but STILL CHARGED ME for me. Said they were going to refund me but have not received a refund and have ignored my requests via email and phone for a refund for 30+ days. They are a disgrace to customer service, I have NOT GOTTEN A REFUND for a cleaning that DID NOT HAPPEN. Absolutely unacceptable. Stay far away!!!! Much more reliable services in the area.

I am so pleased with Think Maids cleaning service! Kerrie and team have been incredibly flexible with my schedule over the past few months. The advantage of this company is that you get flexibility, consistency, follow-up, and an incredibly thorough clean -- no matter which team is cleaning my house (they do try to keep it consistent, though, which is also nice!). AND, its all online. I booked my appointment with a clear and accurate estimate online and I get email and text reminders of upcoming appointment. This is so convenient. I highly recommend using Think Maids. Ive probably had six different individuals or companies through the years, and they are BY FAR the best.

I hired Think Maids to clean my home before we returned from Thanksgiving. It was the first time, and there was extra dust from a kitchen renovation, so I paid extra to have a deep clean and also to have the windows cleaned. When we returned home, the day after they cleaned, there was still dust all over the counters, walls, windows, and furniture on the main floor. I contacted them to complain and they were very slow to schedule the same cleaner and redo the cleaning. It is the holidays, but they did not protectively keep us updated on efforts to find a time to come back. We finally got the second cleaning weeks later, and it was better, but there was still significant dust to the walls and windows. Im still trying to get a refund of at least the extra services. We paid almost $400 and this is ridiculous.

The cleaner sent to my house was very cordial and was even friendly to my cats. More importantly, he was meticulously thorough. He dusted everything, really scrubbed the bathrooms, as well as completely mopped the wood floors. I would recommend Think Maids to my friends without hesitation.

The prices are not the cheapest, but the cleaners work hard and the process, which includes online booking and a two-hour arrival window, is extremely convenient. I would recommend them, especially if youre looking for recurring service, since they offer a discount if you have them come weekly, monthly, or anything in between.

Think Maids did a wonderful job on my house!! The cleaning team arrived right at 9am sharp (with a window of 9-10!) and made my home sparkle in three hours of the most amazing work I have ever seen! They were friendly, thorough (my baseboards are even sparkling, what???), and just very pleasant! I would recommend Think Maids highly, and look forward to seeing them again myself!

I originally used Think Maids to clean my 1 bedroom apartment in DC. Now please note I am a working college student so in all honesty my place was quite dirty. I had a team of two wonderful cleaners come and basically transform the place from a normal college apartment to a tidy young professionals in about 2 hours. Im very impressed and I really appreciate their hard work, and would love to use Think Maids again!

I have a very small apartment, and because of the small size, cleaning areas like the kitchen and bathroom can be especially difficult. When I booked with Think Maids, they were prompt and had friendly service. I was very satisfied with the clean particularly since the difficult kitchen and bathroom were extremely thoroughly done. Wow. Ive tried maybe 5 or 6 different cleaning companies over the past few years in DC, but it felt very impersonal to me and I really didnt like the vibe I got from them. Ive been trying out Think Maids the past couple of months and...I think I am ready to commit! Theyre all really friendly and warm, and the cleanings have been great. More than happy with them!

Although I wasnt there at the time, my girlfriend wanted to be there due to nerves. Suffice to say, not only was the staff courteous, but helped allay her concerns. On top of customer service, they cleaned thoroughly and things I didnt expect, but greatly welcome. They even vacuumed my cats tree!

I had a move out cleaning scheduled for today and they never showed up. They even confirmed the cleaning via email after I asked since I didn’t hear from them. When I visited the house later at night it was still dirty.Edit: just noticed that they charged me even though they never performed any services

Very disappointed. I scheduled a deep clean and came back to find there was still a dark, heavy layer of dust on my blinds, the inside of the cabinet in the bathroom still had tissues and dust inside and many surfaces I wiped down still werent clean. I was charged $200 for a tiny 300 square foot studio so Im surprised there were so many missed spots. Im finding myself cleaning my whole apartment again even after paying a cleaning crew. Feeling like Ive been ripped off and sad it didnt work out :(

There are some pros to this place: their booking process online is well-designed and easy to use, they were available at last minute (booked the day before, less than 24 hours advance), and when it turned out there was a scheduling conflict, we received a quick, friendly call (after business hours, even) to adjust the teams schedule, which we agreed to since it was last minute.But... the cons. As a few other people have mentioned, I ordered a deep cleaning and returned to a condo that was only as clean as a badly-done regular cleaning... not awful, but nothing Id book again even if Id just ordered a regular cleaning, especially since we paid for up to 1500 sq ft and our condo is only 900 sq ft. Should have been an easy assignment for the team, but they didnt do much. It certainly wasnt worth the extra money we paid for a deep cleaning. Since the booking experience was positive, I gave the benefit of the doubt and emailed that I had a complaint and got a quick response... unfortunately, the quickness of the response was the only real bright point in the interaction.They requested that I send details/pictures of what I was dissatisfied about, so I did, pictures and descriptions of the following: Dust on numerous flat surfaces, shelves, and vents; floors vacuumed without actually lifting any debris (visible while standing, no need to kneel... bet they didnt empty the bag/container, just kept rolling after suction was gone); windows not cleaned at all (specifically ordered that in the website ordering options); soap scum and other evidence that cleaning was cursory, not deep; etc.The responses to my complaints and documentation of just how poor a deep cleaning it was were not particularly reasonable or relevant. They didnt address the substance of the complaint (it simply wasnt a deep cleaning, at all) and said they would send someone to touch up the cleaning... but it had to be at a time convenient for them. I wasnt particularly interested in that, because the specific reason for the cleaning was pictures and an open house in order to sell our condo. More cleaning after the event we wanted the condo clean for doesnt help us. Additionally, we werent able to accommodate their cleaning schedule, even if we wanted it recleaned.I asked them to instead just refund the extra fee we paid for a deep cleaning + windows. I feel its reasonable to only have to pay for what we received... I didnt ask for the entire cost to be refunded, since we did get a cleaning, even if it wasnt great. Their response was to offer a refund of 20% and offer money off a future cleaning... which is a pretty empty offer when I dont have confidence/interest in their services anymore.TL;DR - good website, variable customer customer service, unreliable cleaningIve had better results looking for good Groupons and using that, wouldnt recommend full price for these guys and certainly not if you have an important event/need for cleaning.

I absolutely love the Think Maids cleaning team! I never thought I would be someone to hire a cleaning company but a friend bought me a deep cleaning with Think Maids. They worked so fast and did such an amazing job that I immediately became a regular customer. Theyve been cleaning my home for about 4 months now and I honestly dont know what I would do without them. Between our two kids and our careers, my wife and I dont have a lot of time to clean. Theyve done a terrific job on our home every time and have always been happy to help when weve had special requests. If you decide to give this company a try, you wont be sorry!

Terrible experience, I was scheduled for 10am -12pm window they didnt show up til 520pm. They didnt offer compensation nor did they apologize I hafto suggest a discount. Once they finally came thet said they couldnt do my cleaning because there was some marijuana residue on the floor.

They are good if you are looking for anyone to clean your house for something urgent, like a party or event that comes up without much planning. But you would want to reconsider if you are looking to hire them permanently because their prices are quite expensive.

ThinkMaids has gone above and beyond. You can easily book online for additional services unavailable to the usual cleaning services found elsewhere, like dishes and laundry. They also do AirBnB cleaning. My cleaning person arrived on time and was very cheerful and friendly. Most of all, she did a great job and went above and beyond on cleaning every nook and cranny. Ive had cleaning services before. ThinkMaids is my most favorite yet!

I scheduled an appointment for a deep cleaning. ThinkMaids never showed or answered their phones. ThinkMaids unreliable, they had over a month to get prepared for the job, complete waste of time. I do not recommend ThinkMaids to anyone.
