Ive been going to Community Barbershop for about five years now and consistently impressed with the quality of the services and the competitive pricing. During COVID-19, they are implementing helpful safety measures, including mask wearing, recording customers names/contact information for contact tracing, and appointment-only scheduling. I feel safe and comfortable receiving services and will continue to get my hair cut here.

A very good neighborhood barber shop. Ben Smalls, a Master Barber, did a fantastic job cutting my hair. Located on the Southeast corner of the intersection of North Capitol Street, NE, and Rhode Island Avenue, NE, the shop is clean, comfortable and friendly. An ideal place to get a good haircut. I would recommend Ben Smalls to anyone who desires a truly professional haircut at an extremely reasonable price.

Mr. Oliver gives a fantastic haircut, has been in the industry for years. The shop may not look like much from the outside, but the inside is comfortable clean and roomy. The best haircut/beard trim youll get in DC for 20 dollars. Note: Cash only.

Really upset after the lady who serviced me just chopped off everything I had after saying she was going to trim back by half. Two stars for a clean place and friendly service. Maybe Oliver handles his clients better but i cant see myself going back here.

Went there for the first time today. The owner was incredibly friendly. My haircut came out great. And the price was the cheapest Ive seen in DC. Will definitely go back again.

I thought it was a good cut but it was just dark in there. Dont go unless you want a fade. I didnt. I didnt ask for one but thats what Ive got. I wont be back
