I was looking for a new barber in this post-pandemic world, and a well-groomed buddy of mine recommended Bookclub. The location is awesome--just as cool as in the pictures. It seriously feels like youre in an intimate, secret social club. Im a major bibliophile, and being above Kramerbooks didnt hurt either.I chatted with Calvin for a few minutes about what I wanted, and he made some recommendations that turned out great. I never know how to describe to a barber what I want, no matter how much my wife coaches me, but Calvin took my garbled request and gave me perhaps the best haircut of my adult life. Really great spot all around.

Ive been going to Arthur since I moved to DC in 2018. Hes easily the best barber Ive ever used. Impeccable fade, extremely professional, and consistent quality. Dont waste your money elsewhere.

In full Dupon Circle. Located on the second floor of a library, very well-kept room, designer furnishings. Very neat and tidy. Very nice and courteous staff, they took care of me and cut my hair exactly as I wanted. I will definitely be back.
