Called today worried I had a nail in my tire. They told me to drop off my car and they would get it done which was amazing as I started a new job tomorrow and wouldn’t have time to go anywhere. When I picked up my car it ended up being something small wrong that needed to be tightened and they didn’t charge me anything. They are always so nice and fairPrices. I’ve gotten oil changes, tire replacements and more here and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I had a problem with a battery they put in my vehicle two years ago. It was warrantied they gave me a new battery at no expense to me. Ive had a small business most of my life Ive used the battery shop for many different applications and theyve always preformed very well. Jim the owner has made up very large battery cables for me for different pieces of equipment theyve always worked very well and solved a lot of my problems over the years a great company and very knowledgeable people to do business with.

Never had a mechanic business work faster and more efficient than The Battery Shop. They replaced my transmission along with other miscellaneous parts to my 2013 Nissan Sentra with in a week. Few months ago I visited Warwick and unexpectedly my car was starting having some issues and it was kept on stalling then I came to this place and an associate named Richard helped me out with those issues and he fixed it without making me pay as I was running low in money that particular day. Don’t bring your car here unless you want to be left in an unsafe vehicle. I brought my car here because of a brake issue, leaking brake fluid. I thought they fixed the issue, I put my trust in the Battery Shop and the paid $290.00 for the repair. When I drove the car away, it still felt the same, however since I picked the car up after hours they were already closed. I called them immediately the next morning, however they were closed for the entire week for the 4th of July holiday. In the meantime because the car was unsafe to drive I took it to my mechanic and come to find out it was still leaking brake fluid!! I needed to have the brake booster replaced which cost me an additional $390. When I called the Battery shop to advise them of what happened and explained what had happened the gentleman I spoke with had no care or empathy. No compensation, not even a sorry. I reported them to the BBB as well. If you want to be safe don’t bring your vehicle here, not a trustworthy company.

Went based on a recommendation from another shop who was not able to take me in same day. Battery shop was able to take me in within an hour for inspection. Service was friendly and professional as well as quick. When referred I checked out the reviews and saw they were excellent so went ahead and tried them. After walking out of the shop there was another customer having a conversation with another and literally telling him what a great place this was and how honest they are. She has been a customer before and was in for repair work. So based on the fact they were recommended by the other highly rated shop, my experience and the woman’s comments I would say Battery Shop gets a 5-star rating!

I always prefer to fix my car myself if possible. But if the job is too big or specialized the Battery shop does a good job. I always gulp a bit at the price, but I think that is car repair in general. I also buy my boat batteries here. Maybe a dollar or two more than some big box or club stores, but worth it for the advice and service.

These people are the most honest people I know. If you have a car problem, I cant recommend them enough. I take all my family and friends cars here. Quality workmanship at reasonable prices. My top pick for auto repair.

Complete hack jobs just to replace a battery. It’s very obvious that the they damaged the paint on my drivers side fender. They either straight dropped a battery on it, or used my fender to lean the new battery on. I know for a fact this damage was not present prior to having work done by then.I called to complain the very next morning. Spoke to a desk attendant who said I can “ come speak to the foreman if I want.” It practically came off like I’d be wasting my time. Go elsewhere.

On Tuesday I hit a pothole (shocking, I know, especially since there are so few in the state of RI) and it chipped my wheel a bit as well as sliced part of my tire. I contacted The Battery Shop Tuesday evening and less than 24 hours later they had a new one ordered, delivered, and installed with excellent, quick and quality service. I took my car to The Battery Shop for a yearly inspection, and paid $40. The car ended up needing new control arms and failed the inspection. We were told we had 30 days to fix the car and bring it back so we could get our sticker.In three weeks time we had the car repaired, and brought it back to The Battery Shop to get our sticker... only to find out that they were closed for vacation. They were closed for an entire week. We had not been informed that the business was going on vacation, if we had known we would have rushed the repairs and brought the car in before they closed.We brought the car back on the very first day that The Battery Shop came back from vacation... only to be told there was nothing they could do for us and we would have to pay the $40 again for another inspection. Seriously?Poor communication and poor service.

I went in this past weekend to have my new car looked over for peace of mind and they were very courteous and efficient...they did not come back to me with a list of things that needed to be fixed, like most places. Most people dont have the money for car repairs so finding honest, reliable mechanics means alot. I will be coming here from now on for all repairs and maintenance and will also recommend them to anyone looking!

Excellent service have been going there for 9 years they dont overcharge let you know if there is a problem with your car and lets you know if it needs to be done on the spot or if it can wait.

Get an estimate before you get any work done!! I was referred here by my father whose company spends thousands of dollars for their vehicles to be repaired. I came here for my muffler to be re-welded to my exhaust pipe. The invoice stated I was getting dealer parts w/ dealer part prices but when you look up the part numbers THEY ARE AFTER MARKET. I was told i needed and entire exhaust system which would cost me $1.3K...I got another mechanic to do it for $200 of what is actually needed! Was told I needed brakes and rotors...they are 6 months old...so no. Was told I needed both brake lines which would run $180..My mechanic looked up THE CORRECT brake lines and it only cost me $30 w/labor. My fathers company will no longer be doing business with you and we will be removing all vehicles present. Sad that he was EMBARRASSED to even recommend this company in the first place. Just because I am a female does not give you the luxury of taking advantage of me, my family, or my knowledge.

I went here to have them look at my car with all intentions of having them fix it once I found out exactly what was wrong. I had two other shops look at the car before they did, they had provided a recommendation of what needed to be fixed to battery shop because they weren’t currently in a position to fix the car. Well, long story short, they tried to charge me $1200 to fix my car. My car only needed front pads and rotors, brake hoses, one new tire and a radiator hose. Battery shop told me I needed 4 calipers, pads and rotors in the front and the back, and 2 new tires. THEIR PRICE DIDNT EVEN INCLUDE THE RADIATOR HOSE. Needless to say, I picked up my car from battery shop and brought it to Maher’s in Warwick. They charged me less than half of what these guys were going to charge for EVERYTHING and I didn’t even need half of what they suggested!!! I don’t know exactly who they thought they were dealing with, maybe just some dumb girl that they could fool into spending unnecessary money but be careful if you go to this shop, get a second opinion. They are thieves.

I jumped the gun in my last review they went the extra mile and replaced a second motor mount and failed to let me know that work was done if i had been told from the beginning my original review would have been better im sorry the battery shop 5 stars great work and will go that extra mile for you
