Wow!! Their customer service is the best I have ever experienced not only in auto repairs but in most other aspects of my life. The car is working great and I couldnt be happier. Before my car was fixed by you guys I was really stressed about keeping my family safe in the car but now I feel 100% confident that my wife and kids can drive safely. The shop also sent me videos of the technician working on the car so that I could see what the problem was before approving each repair. VERY COOL!

A very reliable and professional business with friendly and open communication. Ive brought my aging Subaru to Joe and his team several times in the past couple of years, and have always left informed and satisfied. I had alot of work that needed to be done and luckily they offered a payment plan. Very friendly and fast service (an overnight but I was offered a rental and got my car the next day). I have gone to a few other places and nobody was able to get to the root of the problems I was having. Finally its fixed!

Carmax referred me to this place which I hadn’t used before to repair leaks in my AC condenser. I was told it was a long job and may take up to a few days. They were very fast and professional, kept me updated on the repair, and I was back in my car a day later! With a new and working AC condenser. Couldn’t be happier with their service. As usual, the diagnostic service and actual repair were done just as they promised. Professionally with the cost quite affordable. While going over with them issues regarding my car I was deciding if I should have the brakes done since the car was there and up on the lift and I was pleasantly surprised when Rick gave me the info on them and then stepped back making no attempt to try and talk me into having the work done right then and there which is something I’ve experienced with other repair shops. Thank to all over there for your good customer service skills.

TERRIBLE I specifically had told Rick what was wrong with the car that I needed a valve gasket cover seal, all new spark plugs, coil pack, a oil change which Im assuming would come naturally when youre changing a valve gasket cover seal, spark plugs & a coil pack considering there would be no oil in the engine since it all leaked out into my coil pack and everywhere else . Also I had mentioned someone had put the wrong antifreeze in so my coolant is black . So once I dropped my car off he had said the last Auto body shop left my car apart so he had to put it together and do a diagnosis for $125 to tell me what was wrong with the car after I already told him what was wrong with it. After that was done it was $1,000 to just change the valve cover seal, coil packs ; spark plugs, no OIL CHANGE. Once that was done he had told me I needed an alternator and a battery the car wasnt drivable which was going to cost another $1,000. So you mean to tell me that after doing a diagnosis for $125 you couldnt tell that I needed a battery and an alternator Not to mention nobody looked in my fluid containers to notice that my coolant is jet black and they left me without an oil change all for $1,000 this place sucks dont ever go here. I ended up getting a battery and alternator myself for $300 and putting it in myself, if you know once your alternator is out it takes away your power steering so I was also left driving home with no power steering and barely any juice to my battery almost leaving me no option but to get the work done from j&s however I was smart enough to take my car home so thanks j&s for charging me a $1,000 to do only one job when I could have got everything done for $800 at the last place that is my fault I know never to go here again and neither should anybody else

Rick was very thorough and helpful with trying to get my Mazda inspected. He explained things in a way that were understandable but not talking down to me either. Everything was very easy, including approving work and paying right through my smart phone. Even though I was unable to get my vehicle inspected this time (because the cost of the repairs were not worth it to me), I will use J&S for any future automotive needs and recommend them to friends and family.

Friendly staff and very quick with the work! I scheduled mine last minute and even though it was raining hard and they were super busy they found a way to fit me in the schedule which is great because i was in need of an oil change and i was gonna drive to Philly the next day! Their price was very reasonable as well and everyone was super nice!

My brakes were locking up, so I called J & S and dropped the car off same day. There was a little glitch after I picked the car up, so I called and Rick had me bring it back. They figured out the problem while I waited (in the air-conditioned waiting room!). Been bringing my car to them for over 15 years and they know their autos! I highly recommend them for their expertise and courtesy.

Clean Shop! Friendly, professional, courteous, exceptional customer service! I brought my 04 Dodge Ram in for an oil change and discussed some additional work that needs to be done that I was already aware ahead of time just based on the oil stains in my driveway. I knew I had some serious leaks coming from the the engine. The gentleman that I spoke with broke everything down for me and prioritized what was most important. I will be returning at a later date to have it all repaired. I am very confident in the quality of service that I received today and I am confident that the job will be done right. Im hoping that this is the last auto shop that I use. A+

Fair honest quotes. Theyve currently implemented photo details along with their critical rating system on how urgently repair is needed. The only thing I would change is weekend/extended hours to assist people who need to take time off from work for repairs. I really dont fault them for giving their employees days off though, probably greatly contributes to quality of work :)

Very pleased with the service. After diagnosing the repairs I needed they showed me what needed to be done, told me what I can wait to fix and what needed to be fixed right away. Explained everything in laymans terms. I was able to get it fixed the next day and they were finished exactly at the time they said they would be. Gave me a ride to my house and back later. Very satisfied and I trust that Im not being hustled. Found my go to mechanic.

These guys have superior customer service, I had a small issue during a vehicle inspection and they were wonderful about addressing it quickly and efficiently. We were very happy and now want to bring our car back for an air conditioner tune up getting ready for the summer.

Great service. Quick. They worked with my warranty carrier and had the rental car charges switched to the warranty provider. Diagnosed another problem in my exhaust system that was not covered under that warranty and advised to check with Nissan for coverage. He didnt have to do all of that. I will forever be a customer.

There was some misinformation and sloppy or poor work. I had a low brake pedal after the front brakes were done. The owner said he would take care of it. They did work on the rear brakes. The pedal was still low. I took the car to a private mechanic. He said the brakes were done wrong. Had to have them worked on.The customer service was direct and polite at first. I didnt want to have them try the re fix the brakes. I would not recommend them.

I was trying to determine whether or not to buy a minivan from a local dealer in Warwick. I was looking for an honest assessment on the condition of the vehicle before I made any commitment to purchase. I work hard for my money and I was so worried about spending too much for a used car and learning later that I bought a lemon. Online appointment request is very handy and they were able to accommodate my first choice which was only a couple of days away. Their itemized list of repairs with cost is sent via text for final approval which is also fantastic - to be able to read through what youre being quoted. i had multiple repairs and services done and their pricing was very affordable. I’ve been using this garage for a couple years now and am so happy to be a customer. I drive an old BMW bought used from a dealer of questionable standards. BMW’s are expensive and a lot of shops will take advantage of that when procuring maintenance costs. I’ve always found J&S to be fair in dealing with necessary needs & repairs for my sports truck. My most recent trip to the shop was for an oil change, the truck had been running rough, I thought I might have exhaust and transmission problems that needed attention which of course would mean thousands of dollars. Turned out I had just over flowed the oil tank and all it needed was to be drained and leveled efficiently. It’s like I’m driving a brand new car after just a 35 dollar oil swap. Thank you! J $ S has been my go to place for many years. They have earned my loyalty for several reasons (including rides to the airport and work). When I have a minor issue like a tire deflating, they fix it right away, and I get my tires there so there has been no charge. They are helpful in tire selection, and most recently gave me a heads up of upcoming work one of my cars was going to need in the near future. They even had a car class for women, and assembled customer toys around Christmas, and collect food for the needy. Good stuff.

I absolutely love this place I have a Honda pilot 2006 and I have gotten my past two oil changes here after switch from Monroe and Johnston who every time I brought my car to told me that I needed to replace my struts even though I replace them myself just so they can make money off me this place offers a reasonable price for their oil changes especially on Groupon and overall Im very happy with their customer service and they even provide loaner cars if you have to leave your vehicle there absolutely amazing customer service and they have my future business in Rhode Island

Initially went in for a inspection. Was told I needed brakes to pass inspection. I agreed to the brake replacement service. Because his Parts delivery guy took longer than Rick’s estimated time. I had some trouble with my ABS engaging on my Wrangler, and too it to J&S. They were able to get me in next day. They were able to locate the issue in a sensor in my wheel him, and also repaired by ball joints. All work was done on the same day. Very impressed!

They are honest and will let you know how much everything actually cost and they do not rip you off! Which is a plus and thats why I keep going back. They send you a text or call you when you car is done. I usually leave it their until I get out of work. Great service and definitely recommend to family and friends! J and S did a great job servicing my 2013 Jeep Patriot for suspension and tire work a week and a half ago. They were very thorough and helpful. They found and took care of needed work the dealership to which I took it had missed.The alignment and wheel balancing the Jeep dealership claimed to have done left the car vibrating wildly at 40 mph and above. J and S fixed all of that. Rick and Devin were great as well as the technicians. I highly recommend J and S for auto repairs on your vehicle.

I brought my Audi there to replace the damaged turbo and it runs great now. The service was great and fast, only a few days. Rick even told me how to maintain the car better to prevent future damage and protect my investment. I googled this place before bringing my car here. The reviews were great. My car had a horrible grinding noise which turned out to be my rear caliber. They fixed that issue along with some other things I needed and gave me fair quotes for some other issues I am having. Very happy with the work and cost. And they were very courteous. Will be returning for the rest of my work.

I am so happy I found J&S Auto! I called on a Thursday morning at 9am to make an appointment and spoke to Bobby, after I told him what was going on with my car he said bring it right in. Then he asked me if I needed a ride home, I was so excited I said that would be great. Rick and Bobby both greeted me when I arrived. Bobby had a nice young man named Devin drive me home. About an hour later they called me with a diagnosis and a quote that was very reasonable. I will definitely be going back soon for my state inspection and an oil change.

We had our 2010 Toyota Corolla towed to J & S Auto Repair because of a bad alternator. I chose J & S Auto Repair because of their excellent reviews and because of proximity to where I live. Rick was my service advisor and he gave me an estimate for the alternator repair and a second estimate for several different repairs/ matiance items that should be done. Rick was very straightforward and not pushy, allowing me to decide what items I wanted serviced. I was really shocked by how quickly my car was finished (it was Christmas eve). The car runs great. I would definitely recommend J & S Auto Repair and I plan on returning for future needs on my cars.

I decided to try them instead of go to my dealership which was very expensive. My car needed a lot of front end work rear brakes and had an electrical problem with a headlight. All fixed by the next day with a 36,000 mile work guarantee. Super nice people. Worked with my warranty company and made sure they gave me a car rental. The cost of the work was very reasonable.

I came in with all my brake lights out. I thought Id checked the bulbs, but in my hurry I checked the wrong ones. I had planned to leave my car all day and they said lets just try the bulbs. They swapped them all out, everything worked and sent me on my way. Could not be more appreciative of that. 4:30 in the afternoon and still so helpful!
