DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! Absolutely horrible service in all aspects. Had them for 5 years and would have to get my internet modem and router replaced every 6 months. Would be without for a week each time while I waited on them to show. Their cable was unreasonably expensive so I dropped that but kept the internet. Internet was slow and unreliable even with getting new equipment every 6 months. When I dropped them completely back in May I went to turn in my equipment and the lady working the desk was rude and angry. After yelling at me for asking questions I left with the equipment and would just pay the bill that I never got. I checked my account balance for it a few times over 2 months and nothing ever showed a payment due. 3 months later I get a notice in the mail from a collection agency with the bill. So they never gave me an option to pay for the equipment before sending it to a collections agency. I give them 0 stars. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

I had internet on phone but not home based. Received letter to get internet at home. They quoted price and within next week it was installed. Price is very reasonable and the store has a koisk where you can pay payment without waiting in line.

We have been with Charter for years and never had a complaint (we moved out of their service area briefly but returned as repeat customers). We have only ever needed internet (no phone or tv) and were happy paying $60-something/mo. But they started charging us $80/mo all of a sudden out of the blue. We talked to a rep to see why it just went up for no apparent reason and they said our deal was over and they are charging us for a home phone service that we never wanted or used nor plan to. Instead of fixing it, they convinced my bf to move our cellphones over to them to save money and counter the internet increase... was a huge ordeal because they lied about having to pay off our phones to get us to switch over. We are still paying about $80/mo for just internet, plus a separate bill for our cell phones now. The guy was supposed to give us a $20 credit to our account, instead he CHARGED us an extra $20. Emailed them multiple times about the mistaken charge with no response so we paid it, simply because we didnt want to call again and deal with their customer service and transferring a million times. Nothing but issues with them now and we are tired of trying to fix their messes and paying the price for their mistakes! Used to love Charter, now I just get angry every time theyre mentioned.

Thanks to Spectrum, I was finally able to read a book. Seriously. There are at least 5 outages a day. Instead of FaceTiming my family, watching YouTube, or playing Video Games, I just read about 78 pages of “The Hunger Games”. The internet is usually back up and running by then. I think I’m slowly becoming Amish because of Spectrum.

I have been trying to get the cable ran from the box at the end of my driveway to my house and 3 weeks later I still dont have internet. Ive called over a dozen times and been told a dozen different things, times and dates. Then they sent me the bill for the service I cant even use. Which I am not paying. This company is trash.

Received something in the mail saying cable would be 29.99 month...called to ask about it and was told a way higher price so declined. a week later equipment shows up at my door..when I call to ask why I am again told the price would be $75 a month... pressure tactics are not a good way of doing business in my opinion.

I had Spectrum but they added plants to my plan without my acknowledgement when it came time to pay the bill and I confronted them they admitted those were not plans that I had asked for but they still wanted to be paid for I do not advertise Spectrum Wireless not the Warrensburg Missouri store

Ive only had their service for the past 2.5 years but they have been great. No problems with tech calls (some outages last year were resolved). Pretty good speeds. My place of work uses Charter as well with no problems. I could have just been lucky but I find no reason to complain.

I want to shout out to an employee who helped my elderly father get his new television working. Dan Pyeatte was the technician who patiently explained to my father how it all worked and made sure he understood everything before he left. Dan then came by my place of business to let me know that all went well. This kind of customer service is rare and I really appreciate Dan taking the time to go out of his way. I love my Charter. I could not live without it. I get the best service ever. Amazing customer service. The local office people are amazing in handling any problems I have. The speed is amazing. I have been a charter customer for years. If I had to move, having Charter would be a huge factor in where I moved to. Choose Charter, you wont regret it.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I asked her about lowering my bill. She checked her computer for specials and wound up saving me a little over $20 a month. When I told her I was thinking of cutting the cord, she explained to me that if I went their streaming route, I could save over $50 a month. I should have stopped in there a long time ago...

Constant internet issues. It’s either so slow to the point I can’t even watch Netflix or it just shuts off and wont connect again for hours. Multiple techs have been onsite and can’t fix it. Customer service is a joke. Overpriced for the low quality of product and service.Summary: spectrum is garbage

Sadly this is about your only opportunity for high speed internet in the area. Prepare to pay more than you should. They will pepper your mailbox and your inbox with promotional mail even after unsubscribing. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Random price increases, false promotional pricing, and falsely advertised speeds.

The store is full of nice people. However. They dont work well with my bank. They have shut off my service and charged me up the ass because they will refuse checks from my bank randomly even when I have the money in the bank. I cant afford to keep losing service like this. Looking for someone else because their service sucks.

Hands down the worst internet provider ever! We have had Cox Communication and Comcast and on their worst day, they are better than Charter Spectrum. There will be nothing connect to our internet, but my phone and all my apps are closed and our signal is terrible. I call them and their excuse, it has to be the router, which is the router they told us to purchase!

Hardest company EVER to get a hold of a human and then to get the right human. They are really good at having you pay a bill, but you could DIE before you could ever get in touch with the right office or person to handle your issue. This company needs some serious HELP! While the internet is nice (When working) They heavily practice predatory marketing, in essence to confuse you of which advertisement is actually your billing statement. With things such as URGENT or IMPORTANT BILL INFORMATION stamped on your mail. just to find out that is actually them trying to get you to add more services to your account.Over the past year, I have had my billing date change over 6 times (In a year!) as well, as a price hike in services because they dont have to give an explanation if they gave the price hike to everyone in addition, if you call customer service about, well, anything bad internet, price hikes, billing changes, etc.. they are continually rude and disrespectful, while telling you the same thing Well, we put it in your statement under spectrum news 1 month ago.Anyone with any common sense, know this is not how a successful business operates, poor customer service, predatory marketing strategys, and an internet service that has monopolized the area, leads to a disgruntled customer base that cannot escape this poor excuse for a company even if you wanted to.If you have an alternative to spectrum, take it, and save yourself a years worth of headaches, multiple dropped internet times, and getting screamed at by customer service because Youre the one in the wrong.-Garrett Giles

So Apparently when I called spectrum I had to give out all my information to get the highest speeds available for warrensburg. At the time i had not moved yet. After telling them I just want the speeds without giving out my info they had got the supervisor and finally said its ok... it makes no since. Its just a simple question. You have lost a customer over literally the dumbest thing possible. Oh and if I didnt say this they have the worst customer service Ive ever dealt with.

Charter has a monopoly on the Cable Internet business in my area.They charge $59.99 / month for only 60 Mb of internet speed that drops constantly. They call you at all hours of the day no matter how many times you tell them not to only to advertise that they can save you money on your internet bill by making you pay for TV and phone as well (99.99 or whatever).When you call with a problem, simply say Agent three times to speak with a person; theyre always sorry, they understand your problem, but theres nothing they can do.If there were any other option, Id take it immediately.

Garbage internet speeds that Ive tested multiple times. Latency usually at 60 which is horrendous. Packet loss of 5 percent. Which is unheard of bad. And your lucky to get over 5 mps upload and download. Not to mention its impossible to call your local branch. And then it takes about 10 minutes of phone time to get a human if youre lucky. Bar none worst dealings with a utility company I have ever had. Avoid at all costs. I would pay double just to get a company to provide 50 mps. They promise speeds up to 100 mps and dont even scratch the surface.

Internet goes out nightly between 1 and 3am. Once a week (sometimes more) the internet, cable, and phone go out for a minimum of 6 hours. Extremely over priced for below average services. Do not get this internet service provider if you are a college student or have anything important to do online.Update: now I receive calls daily from a different number. Everytime I tell them to not call me, they say they will, but I get a new call the next day..... WORST INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER EVER.
