Best company I could’ve ever asked to be employed by. These people treat you well, listen to your concerns, and try to efficiently resolve any issues you may have. If anyone is looking for good, consistent pay/work, then look no further. I recently purchased my own rig and am going out on my own, if it weren’t for that Midwest is where I’d be calling home for a very long time. I can’t express enough how thankful I am to them.

Not too bad just wish the scheduling of loads were better along with having some newer trucks!! Shop can be pretty slow at times since their operated by another company. Would love to see a better lounge area etc for the drivers too with more terminals to kick back in!! Pay is pretty decent and dispatch is Cool i must say.

Pay is good when you get it. Equipment not so much. Dispatch not much help, only here to make life miserable. A bunch of power crazy Canadians that want to tell americans to deploy to the middle east.

I think some of their drivers should be taught how to read because I had to explain to a guy blocking the road what No Parking meant. Sad that some people just dont know how to read.

Apparently its ok for there drivers to run into nonmoving vehicles with no liability. Even when it is all on camera. At first they said they would pay for all damages. What they did was turn it into there fancy insurance company to weasel there way out of it. If i knew how to put the pictures on here i would, but cant figure it out. Ban them!

I’m a current company driver for Midwest. I love it here. I’m going into my 3rd month with the company and I literally have no complaints. My money is on time, dispatch is really cool, and management is also really cool. The equipment isn’t brand new but maintenance issues are rare for me. I’ve had two maintenance issues and the mechanics handled it right away. Experience this company for yourself. Had I took the advice of the so many terrible reviews, I wouldn’t have joined a good company like this. This is the first company I’ve ever wrote a review about in almost 10 years of trucking. I’m not saying other drivers may not have had bad experiences here but if you want to work they’ll give you the work. If you need time off they’ll give it to you with reasonable notice. I don’t hear from anyone unless plans change about something. I love this company

Booked a load, they had to send carrier packet. From the time they sent the packet to the time I emailed it back was 20 minutes, which is pretty quick for most set up packets. They emailed back saying they cancelled the load off of us and booked with another carrier because we take too long. I am sure they just found someone cheaper and planned on cancelling it anyway.

Slow freight. slow freight. things r slow now. i hear this 5 times a day. i week good check then bad week after. not consistent with freight. sit down for days. people in warren are nice to deal with but the dispatch seem to be bias. first company ive been with that i have to beg for a load. i have a clean record. imagine that.

The planners and management are always looking out for their drivers. The only divers I have ever seen unhappy are the ones that cant seem to be happy about any situation in life.

Just a warning to those looking into Midwest. If you do.... my truck has been in the shop and broken for almost the entire year. The worst orientation the instructor was unprofessional, it was a really bad experience. Dont waste your time here...they steal your Moni too..never pay you all miles..

Booked a load with dispatcher Almir Brkic from Sauk Village, IL - Southgate, MI for $1000 at 15:30CST. When selling the load I indicated to him that the weight would be 42,000 however because I have this lane frequently when the order was built in the system the weight was copied from a shipment that weighed 43,792lbs. Upon receipt of the rate confirmation Almir emailed me be back saying he would need an extra $75 for the additional weight for extra fuel. By this logic I asked if he felt it would be appropriate if i deduct $75 from the original rate if the load ended up weighing only 40,350lbs. Of course that wouldnt be appropriate because its ludicrous. Not only was he mentally incapable understanding this point. he was incapable of accepting the fact the load was in fact only going to weight 42,000lbs and I was willing to make that change to the original rate confirmation in which the weight was incorrectly duplicated from a previous order. I have no tolerance for those who attempt to gouge brokers for additional money after the fact. Any company who employs someone like Almir Brkic should not be trusted. This company lacks integrity and engages in deceptive and unethical business practices. Beware.

Midsize company thats growing fast.Been there for almost two years. Down to earth owners, good management and amazing dispatch. If you want to work, they will keep you busy. If youre lazy and complain all the time, find another company.

Driver got to the pick up on friday, on time- waited all day- there was not a load ready, waited till the next day with a promise of layover, no load again on Saturday all day driver asked for a Tonu for there not being a load. Broker said wait till monday there should be another load ready. Supervisor said that since the driver did not wait till moday he would not be issued a tonu. So after losing all day friday, all day sat, Sunday(shipper is closed), supervisor wanted the driver to wait till monday to see if the load is ready....would not even pay for tonu 150 for wasting 2 days must be confused with layovers...in any case BEWARE - they wont pay you for time lost.

I love this yard so much specially now they have a place for people to pray and the yard have a wide space for trucks and trailers to park and lets not forget the personal cars plus they offer free coffee for their drivers keep the good work MWF

The dispatch for this company are layer and crook so one give my a formation to pick up trailer and another one after 100 mile tell my put it back so they still for my money about $ 600 dollaresAnother way the old dispatch were sick because the war was in Bosnia so the give the sick to truck drivers but the young people like Tarq, and Emeir are good so it hard if you try to still work there

Had to quit and get some surgery done !!! When i hired back on i told them i wanted my old freightliner coranado back so they made sure i got put back in my 13 speed coranado !!!

Previously would have rated a Five. Upon recent employment one co owner became very disrespectful. Attempted to force dispatch and became very loud, disrespectful and threatening. When I asked why, his answer was Cuz Im the ownerUnless your a owner op I do not recommend this business! Kasim should be ashamed of hisself... He also made promise, shook on it and went back on his word. Hes a liar, smile to your face and stab you in the back.EVERYONE ELSE THERE is VERY respectful, I miss his brothers but he ruins it!

My friends working with other companies in michigan have loads every day and i m working with midwest has no load since last 2 weeks . and this is my 3rd week starts with no load . they dont have load for old drivers and want to hire more FOR WHAT ? I THINK ITS TIME TO QUIT .I HAVE CLEAN RECORD TOO .

Perfect company as it goes. As with everything you cant like every aspect of a job but the people help make it what it is.

When you work for them basic escrow from your paycheck $100 a week then when you quit or jet fired they dont want to pay you the hundred-dollar they take every week and you have to write how many trips you do a week cuz sometime they make mistakes and they dont pay you for some trips finally got my money after 51 days
