Always quality work done fast!
Bob just finished and I am well pleased. He answered all my questions and was very professional
I was out of town but asked Moody Plumbing come out to repair a leaky 2 PVC union on my pool pump recirculation system. They could not figure out how to replace it. So they cut the union out and temporarily installed a rubber sleeve secured by band clamps as a patch. They then proceeded to charge us $595.00 on the spot! My wife was home and knows nothing about plumbing so she paid them. When I got home and saw what they did and what they charged I was furious. After leaving a message about wanting to discuss they quality of the work and the charges, they called me back on a Monday. The office person said Mr. Moody authorized only invoicing me $150.00. I was ok with that and told her to tell Moody I appreciated it. Then Moody simply refunded $150. Not what I was told and there was NO misinterpretation on my part. When we followed up, they denied saying the total invoice would be $150, but instead said they would refund $150. So, now I have paid $450 for a botched plumbing job that still needs properly repaired and when they said they would make it right they reneged. Folks, I am not a stranger to plumbing and frankly I could have done what they did for $20 and 30-45 mins of my time.Yep that pic I posted originally cost me $595 and was reduced to $450. Shameful. Buyer Beware with this outfit! You now know the facts of my experience. If you need a plumber... look elsewhere.. you will be glad you did.David S.
I had this company out for the first time in 2014 I called them back this September to get a maintenance check.Jeff remembered where I lived and the cookies that I had given them.In the day of man and the lack of their word and no one takes pride of their work, I really appreciate this company.Reasonable, honest and they dont sell you any more than you need.thanks guys!
Great professional customer service 👍
We contacted Moody Plumbing because of experience with the company years ago even though we knew their prices were higher than just regular maintenance guy. They were scheduled to do multiple jobs for our 92 year old dad. Replace the bathroom faucet, snake the upstairs bathroom, repair and replace tub faucet and anything related to that, and replace the kitchen sink. When I got the initial written estimate, I told Dave, the worker, to forget about the kitchen sink for now because it was more than I was expecting to pay presently. He and his helper Larry did a great job on the bathroom faucet and snaking the upstairs pipes. They also did a good job, but not a great job on the tub. I would have said a great job, but after he replaced the panel he forgot to caulk between the bottom of the panel and the tub. So now my husband has to finish his job for him. We dont want him back in my dads house for the following reason: My dads main shut off broke when they were doing work there. It was not their fault. It was corroded and just disintegrated off when my husband turned the water on/off for them. So now that had to be replaced. I stopped in to clean my dads house on Thursday when they were still finishing work on the tub. My husband was already there and introduced me to David and his helper Larry, and then my husband had to leave. I am my dads financial Power of Attorney and thought to ask about a senior citizen discount. The receptionist told me to ask Dave and he would take 10% off the labor. So after my husband left I talked to Dave about the discount off the labor. He was very vague and does not communicate well. It sounded like he was giving me a choice between doing the main shut off valve for free because he voiced it was a quick simple job or 10% off all the labor. I told him to forget about the 10% discount then and just do the shut off valve. He said okay. I could not go the day he did the shut off valve, but my husband did. I do not know what was communicated between him and the company and him and my husband. All I know is when I got the bill, it was not anything that Dave and I had communicated. He never said it would be free but the way he said it he absolutely gave me a choice between the shut off valve and the 10% discount - one or the other. He also made the mistake of not giving my husband or me any kind of estimate before he replace the shut off valve. He did the word and then wrote up a bill of almost $300 for 45 minutes of labor after he completed the work. He only gave my dad a 10% labor discount on the shut off valve - not on the sink faucet and tub work as he was supposed to give the discount on everything. After my husband brought the bill home, I called the office because this was not what Dave communicated with me - the POA. The receptionist was rude and kept over talking me and saying, You have to pay for services done. She wasnt letting me explain. I hung up on her. Then I called back a little later and she was finally listening to me. She said she would forward the information to Mr. Moody, and he would talk to me. He called me within the half hour and was trying to spin the situation He told me Dave was right there in front of him, and Dave told him he never even met me - that he handled everything with my husband. So Mr. Moody believed him over me and that was insinuating that I was making this stuff up and that I was the liar. Mr. Moody even started threatening me after I told him he was wrong for insinuating that I was lying. He said, you dont know who you were messing with! I would have given the company a rating of 3 if he would have at least treated me with some respect. My dad ended up in the hospital partly from all the stress the same evening. After looking at reviews online for Angies List and some other sites, I see that other people have complained about his worker Dave and said that he is liar, so I was not afraid to put this post on here even though he threatened me. Its something to think about
On time and they knew what they were doing
The problem was fixed. But I was charged a service call. I think they should notify the customer for this charge before the accept the job.
We were preparing for a Memorial Day Picnic. There were 35 people coming to our house. The sink in the kitchen backed up and black water started filling the sink. I called Jeff and within 20 minutes he was at our home. The issue was resolved and we were both able to enjoy the rest of our holiday weekend.I cant thank Jeff and Moody Plumbing enough for their quick response, on a holiday.
Great job
The owner is a old fashioned gentleman. Everyone I met at moody plumbing was professional and friendly.
These guys are experienced and prompt. Dominion Gas shut off my meter several days before Christmas because of a gas leak. Remind you we live in the northeast Ohio with cold weather and unpredictable snow. Jeff and Jason came out twice in the same day to meet Dominion pressure requirements. Those guys put on a show with new shutoffs, pipe unions, threading pipe, and slapping pipe dope around. Watched every second and learned a lot. Honest with price and quality work.
Super nice workers. Very prompt. Very patient with me when asking questions about a sump pump.
Jeff, Cindy, Debbie and the rest of Moody Plumbing have been a pleasure to work with! They are always quick to respond and truly know what theyre doing. The FREE estimates are definitely a plus!!
Absolutley fantastic! He came out to give me an estimate on a whole basement pipe replacement. I figured that would help with the pressure. He then figured out it was only 59 bucks to do what needed done instead of the 3000 bucks everyone else wanted! He came right away after calling this morning and asking for an estiment he was here in 30 minutes and the secretary was awesome as well! I have them coming to do more work for me monday! Thank you moody plumbing!
