Roger was great! Was nervous trying a new barber in the area, but I was handled with care and it turned out to be a great haircut. ($40 for a scissor cut, blow dry & style)Would recommend for anyone with a modern comb over hairstyle.Only recommendation would be to use a straight razor on the sideburns and neck lineup.

Best Barbershop I have found in the area. I stumbled upon Str8 Edge quite by accident. I found Jesses card on a closed business and reached out immediately. I am so happy I did. Jesse does an amazingly clean fade and the shop is extremely clean and well run. The owner Chris has created a great space for his customers and barbers. Also the prices for the quality are VERY reasonable.So happy I found this place.

I really hoped that I could get a decent barber that takes walk ins, but it looks like the walk ins get the new guys and the new guys are terrible. Gave these guys two tries and theyve hacked me up both times (different barbers). This last time I just asked him to clean up the edges around my neck and and around my ears. I told him I was growing my hair out.He turned me around so I couldnt see what hes doing. Okay fine, I can trust him--hes the professional. He also suggested we trim just a tiny bit going up my head. Probably needs to fade it a bit--that makes sense. What I got looks like maybe his first ever haircut and like he didnt listen to a word I said.Now I have a patch of short hair on the top of my head that is shorter than any other hair. He also moved my part halfway back. Also, the fade on the back of my neck and around my ears looks like it was done with a hedge trimmer. The rest of my head is just uneven. Ive given myself more even haircuts and in less time.Would not recommend walking in. Im 0/2 on my dice rolls. Cant be good odds.

Chris and his team know their craft. Show them a picture and theyll get right to work. This barber shop is exactly what Ive been looking for. Its pretty chill place to be and I highly recommend that you make a reservation because they take you their time with their haircuts. Allocate about 45 minutes if youve made an appointment and who knows how long if you have it. The entire crew is extremely friendly and personable. The shop is great and I highly recommend everybody to get their next cut here

Boyfriend and I walked in off the street to get his haircut. Extremely friendly knowledgeable bunch of guys. We had to wait less than 15 minutes. They seemed to know exactly what he wanted after just a couple questions. Worked out great. Hes happy and that makes me happy. Cash only store but they do have an atm on premises!

Chris (our barber) knows how to make a good guy look better. Bad bad guy badder. Honestly Chris is great. Not going to find to many cool hip spots like this. Love being able to set an appointment online. He is quick and good. Would have been 5 stars but weve taken our 10 y/o son down there and sometimes the music or movies playing things I really dont want my son to listen to or hear. Jesse is without a doubt best barber I have ever had. Its hard to explain but it just looks so clean. I literally get comments immediately after leaving every time.

Great local barber. Great attention to detail. It can be a long wait on Sundays when there is less staff unless you are lucky and arrive when theres no one ahead of you, so load up the parking meter and be prepared to get coffee or something to eat while you wait. Its worth the wait.

Really disappointed in my haircut today. Went to a gentleman that has been cutting hair for 25 years and I told I wanted skin fade. After$ 49 dollars idk what i got. He tell me after the haircut is done he normally doesnt do fades! Why wasnt i told this first?! Would not recommend!

The place seems nice and all when you go in. But they are deceitful. The guy up front set a certain price for a trimming of the beard and suddenly when the next guy gets done with the trimming, it charges 50% more than what the guy said! They were unclear and he only let me know once he was done with it that he was charging that price. Not to mention the guy had difficulty simply lining up the beard. Had to be reminded multiple times just to do that. Not a great place!

Its nice to find a barber shop that can cut my hair on a Monday usually their clothes I called these people and asked if they were open they told me they were but didnt bother to tell me not to come till after 2 p.m. . When I came into the store I was greeted by Middle Eastern man with a beard who rudely immediately told me to come back after 2 p.m. because there were two people in front of me and he had to take lunch at 1 p.m. it was 11 a.m. I have already paid for my parking and wasted my time he could have just told me on the phone to come after 2 p.m. I will never come back to this place and I will not recommend anybody go to this place unless you want to be treated like you do not matter

Greg and Brenda have opened a 2nd location in Walnut Creek. Same friendly and playful atmosphere and all the old school barber services I like. The only place I know of who will still do a straight razor shave. Wonderful!

Great barbershop with friendly staff. All the barbers do great work, especially Chris, the owner. Hes been cutting my hair for over a year now, and is great guy all around. Modern ambiance, with cool custom murals on the walls. Highly recommended!

Yes, the wait times to be a little long but its only because so many people keep coming back. Ive never gotten a bad haircut here and Ive seen almost everyone on staff. The standard that the barbers set at this place is pretty high, everyone takes their time to deliver an outstanding service, so sometimes that results in having to wait a little bit. If youre looking for a shorter wait and quicker service Supercuts might be for you.

Its run by a couple kids, they open and close at their own discretion. I went there after 2pm on Friday and it was closed cause every employee was on a late lunch. I know this cause I bumped into one as i turned around to leave and they told me as such. 1 star indicates a service was actually transacted but there wasnt, this is why there should be 0 star reviews cause this place deserves one.

I want to be fair in my review. The haircut I had is one of the worst I had in my life. The barber who did my hair seemed like he was learning, and I appreciate that he needs to do that. But he messed up my hair. Add to this that there is no customer service in this place. Very rude and condescending way of talking with customers. This was the only time I had a haircut here, and will not know if other barbers here can do a better job.

I have a bad experience to have a haircut on this barbershop. I actually made appointment with Christ for 25 bucks. When i walked in the ladie in the store. She said she gonna take me. She did my haircut take up to 45 mins. She was so rude. She yell at me to hold the mirror. And after all she take 30 bucks. She never ask u. Do u like this haircut or something? I’d not recommend this baber shop.

Ive been taking my kids here for years. They have gotten great haircuts and treated very well. We have had different people cut their hair and each has done well but they do have their favorites now.

If you want to spend $30 for mens trim, go to Str8 Edge. I didnt see their prices posted and was shocked when I got the bill. It was a good haircut but not my kind of place.

0 acknowledgement of you are black. Recently moved to Walnut Creek, and I saw this shop listed under Black Barbershops. No back barber, but I dont discriminate, and decided to give it a shot. Barber next to phone, who I assumed answered when I called earlier, finished with a client, and although I was sitting right in front of him waiting, he just started cleaning his tools, never made I contact or offered to be assisted by another barber. If you are black, I guess my advice is stay away from this shop and try another one, as Im doing right now.

Im shocked this place has good reviews. The barbers here are like the soup nazi and make you feel like a terrible person for walking in. You can even try calling them and see what I mean. I called earlier to ask if they were busy and if I could make a reservation at 11am and he simply responded with no. Not even an explanation.

I’ve been here 5 times, but only managed to get 2 haircuts. (1 great, 1 not so great). Granted, I show up a mere 60 minutes before close (gasp!), but 3 out of 5 times they are understaffed and can’t take me. Adding to that the facts that they don’t take appointments and act like you’ve killed their dog when you dare call in to ask how busy it is, you may as well save yourself the drive and the cost of parking unless you have a few hours to kill for a haircut. Morning/Midday results may vary. UPDATE: If you enjoy their hair product Suavecito, you can get 3x as much for the same price off Amazon. What a rip.

I l8ve and work in two different cities, Travis is the one Barber I hop on a plane for. All of the men working there arw worth the wait, you get there and if your favorite guy isnt there, the next chair will do a phenomenal work as well...and thet cut on Sunday!
