There is a 50% chance when you go there that it will be out of order or staff issues. Had membership carry over from American Pride (much better experience) but since Zips took over, they deducted tire treatment and other service, at the same price. Went yesterday and it was closed again for the second time this week. Went to talk to the only employee there and she was in her car, in the cleaning bay shade reclined and on her phone. When I voiced my concerns she simply said You can cancel your membership. She couldnt have cared less. I hope this review makes it to upper mgt as they have some serious issues at this location. You cant call to see if the car wash is working b/c the number goes to corporate. I have added photos where you can see the time and employees car.
Paid $16 for a very quick and low quality car wash. The pre-wash was only sprayed on half the car. After the wash, the car, the bumpers and the rims were still dirty. The drying time was short and did not dry the car very much. Half of the vacuums did not work and the other half were barely functional. We still have to do a bunch of cleaning on the car. Terrible car wash experience. Zips needs to care about the quality of the service they deliver to their customers. Had much better service under American Pride.
This place has been closed the last 3 times Ive been there in less than a month. They used to be great when the other company was in charge. Once Zip took over it went downhill quick. Tried calling but the number listed is to corporate and sure enough, no answer! Tried knocking to see if anyone could answer some questions but no one came out. The place is also filthy. They cannot not even keep up with the landscape. I think it is time to cancel the monthly membership they keep charging for poor service. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Do not waste your money buying a membership here.
If I could give them a zero, I would. I pay $35 per month for their top service, but my last few visits have been their basic service. The service tech only wash the driver side of my vehicle and half their vacuums ever work. This place use to be a good car washing service. Not any more
Place is really going downhill.Few people working, the one I see person working is arguing with customers,vacuums are down. No warning that they are not working just come in pay full price and then find out. Not good not coming back.
We have a membership with Zips that carried over from our membership with American Pride. This location has drastically declined in service and ease of use since Zips took over. Many times I’ve driven to the car wash just to find cones blocking the pay stations, unable to get a car wash. Today I went, and was told that someone tampered with the car wash and they have been down for 3-4 days because of it. You know what never happens? They never miss a payment from us for a service that is intermittently available. It’s very disappointing. Additionally, when the wash is running, there are ALWAYS inoperable brushes. The management of this car wash is terrible. Most employees seem unhappy with their jobs and don’t properly rinse cars when the wad is running. It is my hope that they are able to turn things around.
Breyer provided the absolute best service. The machine that washes carpets was not working and he made sure to spray down my mats and hand dried them, he then handed me a Zips bag with some towels. It’s employees like this that really make a business worth visiting. He provided the best service I have ever received from any of these car wash locations in the Raleigh area. Some of the employees at the other locations don’t even bother to rinse my truck the correct way.
Im an unlimited wash club member, but it appears that your location has shut down! Every time (during normal business hours) Ive come by in the last several days, the property was coned off and not operating. If you are shut down, or youre upgrading, you have a responsibility to notify your customers who auto pay monthly of what is happening. You had no problem charging my credit card this morning for monthly fees. This is unacceptable and Ive never had issues in the years Ive been coming until the last few weeks. If you cant stay open then please refund my money since Im being charged for service when theres no service. If you are having trouble finding or keeping employees, than tell us so at least we can understand.
Wow I was a Zips customer for a few years, lately all sites have been experiencing issues with equipment, vacuums dont work at Wake Forest Rd, closed sites during regular business hours. I had 4 cars on an account due to my business. I have closed the account and taken my business to another company. I hope things get better at Zips.
I have a monthly subscription to Zips Car Wash. My credit card was charged twice for 1 month. When I went to the car wash and inquired about the double charge, their employee Israel refunded one of the charges on the spot. He also gave me a free month of washes for the inconvenience. Israel knows what customer service is all about. He is an asset to the company.

I have 3 cars on the monthly subscription. Service has declined, staff are not helpful, wash frequently under repair. Paid in every month during the pandemic started going back to wash the cars recently only to find the place out of service yet still taking my money, I was told “machines break” so do subscriptions, cancelling now easy money no incentive to provide customer value for money. Taking my business elsewhere, you should too
Not sure why the touch-less isn’t in service anymore it was good. Beware when they try to sell you an unlimited for $15 - I thought great deal! Guess what the attendant failed to disclose - it’s a contract on auto renewal! Really upset that they wouldn’t say this upfront. On top of it the attendant didn’t properly wash the tires or bugs on the bumper so really a waste.

The vacuums don’t work, there was a roach crawling around by the vacuums, the wash barely cleaned my car for $20 such a waste of money.
If I could leave 0 stars I definitely would. First off we went through and did not get rinsed off or dried, nor did we get waxed which we paid extra for and we had to go a second time and it happened again. We literally got HOSED off and sent through the weakest dryer and when we tried to get someone’s help they said “I can’t help you I’m about to go into overtime” and grabbed another person and walked off. A complete waste.

Just went through this car wash for the very 1st time and it will definitely be my last. I’m so glad too because I almost purchased a membership For the monthly car wash club. I purchased the most expensive car wash option which was $20.00 and my car DID NOT get very clean. Such a waste of $20. I drive a 7 passenger crossover SUV and my hood, passenger/driver side mirror’s and the entire back of my car are still dirty. What a horrible experience and car wash. The crazy thing is my car wasn’t even that dirty to begin with as I get it washed at least once a week. Thanks for nothing I guess!!!

If it is raining or they think it is going to rain or if it is cold or if it is too hot or the machine are broken or.... they cosed. The right small spinning cleaner at the drive through car was is broken for at least 3 month. Solution, you can go to another car wash, call corporate.... Drive through wash. Free vacuum if it is on. Monthly membership. Management just dont care anymore.

I’ve had the unlimited car wash package through American Pride for over 2 years, but the service has declined since Zips took over.The employees no longer clean the front and rear windows before you enter the car wash. Six weeks ago while in the car wash I felt a bump and the car wash stopped with my car in it. The wash had pushed my side mirror in and bent up my antenna. I ended up having to drive out because the car wash wouldn’t restart. The employee filled out an incident report and told me a district manager would contact me within 72 hrs. I still haven’t heard from anyone. I finally emailed to cancel my membership and explained why I was cancelling. I received a response and was told she would check into the incident report. It’s been another 2 weeks and I still haven’t been contacted. The customer service is less than acceptable. I would recommend checking out one of the other car washes in the area.
Disappointing wash. Half of roof and rear window was still dirty. Wheels looked like they were not touched by the brushes. Card reader at entrance could not read 2 credit cards. Always used to be an effective car wash, but lately my experience has not been great.

I was unlimited car wash package customer for 2+ years. Unfortunately, the service declined significantly when Zips took over. The previous owners would manual clean the front and rear windows to ensure the entire car was washed. Since they stopped, 1/2 of my tailgate no longer got washed. I notified the local and corporate team but was told if I was unhappy with the service, they recommend I cancel so I did. I would recommend checking out one of the other car washes in the area.
Used to love this place when it was American Pride. They used to hand brush the front and rear bumpers which they no longer do. The floor mat cleaner works about half of the time lately and a main part of the wash was broken for over a week so results were well below acceptable. I emailed corporate but never received a response.
I usually never write reviews but I felt I should for my experience at Zips in Wake Forest. I Have been approached by the manager, William, several times to ensure my satisfaction with my service. I cannot emphasize enough what a difference this makes to me. It’s not everyday a quick in and out car wash will get you this kind of exceptional customer service. Thank you again! Sad at the pay station for 10 minutes trying to pay for my order and meanwhile the attendance are sitting there smoking cigarettes and vaping and playing with the freaking ball bouncing in the parking lot car pulls up to the next day they service them right away and literally ignored me not happy was very angry and not to mention the attendance arent very well dressed not professional do not recommend coming to this place at all its a pathetic excuse of a car wash do not come here
So American Pride was bought out by zip car wash. They now have a sign in their drive-thru thing that they no longer use brushes on the front to the back of the car oh, they will use the pressure washer. Well I just went through and nobody pressure wash so thats a bunch of BS. Just wiping down my car, and I still have bug guts all over the front.
Mediocre. Cleaned the windshields and some of the car but the back and area where gas door is was still completely dirty. Vaccumes worked decent, but It was a pretty unsatisfying wash.
Fair pricing and a great basic car wash for the $! The guys pre-scrub your front bumper, hood and rear bumper, trunk. Rinse looks great and vacuums work very well. Have been coming here for 3.5 years and have always been pleased. Best in town! AND their wash club is a great value if you want your ride looking sharp all the time 👍I was concerned when they changed from American Pride to Zips. However, no changes in service or quality so far.
Please do not use this business. Once you get on the auto billing program it is nearly impossible to cancel. In addition, the wash quality is quite poor. Avoid this company.
This review is based on our normal service we receive at our local Zips which is the Brier Creek location. We visited on Saturday, May 23.We have the monthly pass for the vehicle and came to wash at this location in Wake Forrest as we were in the area. Big mistake! This location doesnt even compare to our regular one on the other side of town. There arent as many vacuums and they do not practice social distancing!! The Brier Creek one has vacuums on both sides and has every other one blocked off to help ensure social distancing, especially right now as things are slowly opening back up. This location did block off the right lane for entering the wash as well as their laser wash. Did not see why this was blocked but not the vacuums.Anyways, getting to the actual wash part. The employees were too busy talking amongst each other instead of paying attention to the customers. One guy was on the right side while the left side had two females. The two females were talking and one walked back inside. The one that remained outside was shouting at the guy on the right side (passenger). She was telling the guy that the other female said it was her last day as she quit. The female then proceeded to say that she wished it was her last day as well. Imagine how customers feel when youre the one assisting with running the wash and the customer can hear the conversation. Not too warm and friendly feeling during this. The guy on passenger side proceeded to brush (on dry paint, without prepping or spraying), the right side of the vehicle windshield as well as half the passenger door. This was all of the prep we received for the vehicle. The female on driver side didnt touch a brush (which is fine as its not preferred anyways), and also did not prep by pressure washing anything. She was too busy shouting that the other employee was quitting. The soap during the wash isnt as persistent as the Brier Creek location. There also isnt room to dry off the vehicle afterwards and signs posted everywhere that you are not allowed to detail the car in the parking spots behind the wash.All in all, I feel sorry for the customers that actually were there paying for a single wash as they did not get their moneys worth that day. Lesson learned - stick to your original location, no matter if youre close to another one!
Before the new owner took over the serv6was exceptional not so much now. The vacuums are always clogged the back of car is still dirty after I go through the wash. And the floor mat cleaner never works. Will be canceling my membership soon.

Free vacuum with a wash and well maintained. Across the street is the old school alternative. If you go up the street thats where the other half wash there car, gas station, eats, etc.. All in all Zips is a good deal as long as the vacuum a work.
Washed my black truck didn’t do a great job cleaning it and left several scratches, now the won’t email or answer after they had me come by to take pictures of damage. Been over a month since pictures and or two weeks since they’ve let me know anything. Now looking at $300 to have what their wash did buffer out.
Mediocre wash at best. The employees were far from friendly. They seemed disinterested in the job. What happened to spraying / scrubbing the front and rear of the car before entering? Wash barely touched the rear window and what it did touch didnt rinse off all the way. If I didnt have somewhere to be I would of stopped and talked to employee, but was unable to. Might be time to find a new place....
I have 3 cars signed up for unlimited wash, pay $54.15 a month and the cars still have bugs on the front of them. Every time we go there is an issue and have to wait for an attendant to lookup membership details. In order to get someone to wipe the front or back of your car you’ll have to purchase a $30 a month membership and the dryer do not dry off your car at all. Workers are rude and don’t know a lot. If you need real help you have to send a email. My family has a total of 7 cars signed up for a membership and we request to cancel out membership and warn anyone else who’s thinking about getting a membership or going at all, stay away! It’s a waste of time, money, and energy.
Quick and effective car wash. I dont trust every automatic wash with my black car (smile). Love the pre-wash that is done by hand and the convenient vacuum stations. Program allows me to wash as much as I need during the month, which is important during pollen season.

I would not recommend American Pride car wash in Wake Forest North Carolina to anyone who has a nice vehicle because it will get scuffed-up in their machines when you bring your car in to have it washed and sometimes the brushes on the machines only watch certain portions of your car and the rest of your car is still showing dirt. Youre paying top dollar to have your car wash and these people are just taking your money. I would use the ones in Raleigh North Carolina they are much better and they do a much better job with your car.
So convenient to be on their monthly plan. I get lots of car washes now. Car is always clean. Hard working staff.

I joined the unlimited wash club. Wash was only ok so I cancelled the membership by email as I was instructed this was the only way. Repeatedly emailed with no response and continue to be changed each month. Had to contact my credit card to get involved.
Purchased top wash. Car still very dirty. Attendant barely pre washed car. Not worth the time to go there. Should have just went to Autobell.
Thought they were ok, would have been better if my car came out clean. Only the drivers side tires were done, the rinse was not very good. Had to clean streaks and spots when I got home. 20 bucks I could have wasted elsewhere. SMH
Dennis and his manager Mike were awesome today. I just received a normal car wash and they treated me like a King. The first go around there was still dirt on my hood and near my windshield. After talking to Dennis and Mike they told me to go through the car wash again. Instead of just running me through the car wash again, they took time to scrub out all of the areas personally that were dirty. Absolutely the best customer service at a car wash that I have ever received. Thank you Mike and Dennis.

The lady and I washed her car in the laser wash, and when we went to vacuum we noticed it was still dirty. We went back to the soft cloth and still the same thing! The driver rear door, trunk, and roof were just as dirty as before.

You get a great car wash for a low price and free access to the vacuums and the floor mat cleaners.Note there are older American Pride Car Wash locations around the Triangle that do not have the features and pricing this location has.Wish there was one like this in North Raleigh near Strickland Road and Creedmoor Road.
Went to get a car wash and came out with my car just as filthy as it was before and something hit my rear bumper during the wash and caused a crack. I filed a report and they got pictures that day. I was told it would take a couple of weeks for corporate to get back to me.. it’s been a month and I have not heard anything and cannot get in touch with anyone. I just bought my car a few months prior to this incident, so naturally I am very frustrated.
Waste of money, terrible wash, did not even get bugs off windshield. Under new ownership now called Zips. My wife took her vehicle in and they no longer pre-wash the front and rear. One guy was sitting on the side on his phone and other operating the wash. Literally paid for nothing but water to be sprayed on vehicle.
Great customer service. I have a large truck and they helped to make sure I would fit and even came over to vacuums after the wash to do a quality check. Great experience all around!
Great drive-thru car wash with free self serve vacuuming. I do not like writing a negative review so I am grateful they reduced the staff here by one person so I can write a review. But everyone now seems helpful and willing to put the customer first.

Paid for a 12 dollar car wash and it left black streaks down my hood and barely got dirt off of my wheels. My car was only spotted from the recent rain we had and this laser wash couldnt even clean spots off my vehicle! I wouldnt recommend paying the 12 dollars to have it drag your car thru the car wash in less than 2 minutes and leave streaks on your vehicle!!

Very disappointed. They had a $3 special that ended up costing me $300. They did not stand behind the washing process when the high pressured water machines removed paint in a space of about 9 inches on my driver door. They said because my car was 10 years old, they could not do anything. I had a Saturn Vue with not 1 scratch on it. I wish I knew the risk.... If I had, I would never have driven my car into the establishment. Remember a $3 wash could cost you $300.
Equipment works everytime I go and I like how you can go back within 3 days for free wash. I like the Lazer Touchless wash, its a few bucks cheaper and does a good job.

The old, bald guy with the goatee is rude and acts like he hates his job. There was an older gentleman who needed help selecting his wash at the kiosk, and this jerk employee/manager acted like it was going to ruin his life. And the dryer here left my car really wet.
Im so disappointed. I was so excited about the membership club and when i signed up at the machine i was given a receipt for my purchase of the unlimited wash club. I drove in and went thru the wash. The guys were trying to talk over the loud noise of the wash and i couldnt understand a word they said as i was already so close to entering the wash. I left and then realized i didnt receive any sticker or card for the next time (wasnt sure how it worked) but i had my receipt. So i went back and asked about it. The guy said probably because no one was here (which there were) but he had me fill out a sheet with all my information for the membership and also gave me a sticker to put on my window. I come back a few days later and find out i was not in the system. This time a different guy asked me to fill out the same information sheet and said he would take care of it. 3rd time i come back i find out i was still NOT IN THE SYSTEM and again a different guy has me fill out the same sheet and tells me he put in all the papers left on his desk (assuming i didnt fill one out because of this) when I had already filled it out 2 times. Its not even the car wash itself that im disappointed in...its the workers- poor customer service.

This is a great place to get your car cleaned fast. The automatic tunnel puts tire shine on for you and entitles you to vacuum out your car with a great vacuum.TIP: Try to go when its not busy. You wont feel rushed.

The car wash didn’t clean my side windows or get the dirt off of my car, and the vacuums aren’t strong enough to get everything off of the carpeted floors of my car. Also the instructions were given to me with my windows up, while they were giving me directions onto the rail, then I could hear the workers commenting on me not listening when they were terrible at giving instructions- also they told me I couldn’t vacuum before I went through the car wash- after I vacuumed my car- they give terrible direction and the wash isn’t worth it.
Excellent wash. After which you have free access to vacuum - and an automatic mat cleaner - but it costs extra.
Dont waste your time or money. Unless a half-ass car wash is what you are seeking. In that case, hurry on down!
