We have been so happy since switching to Allstate last fall. The team with Thomas G. Walters is proactive and always there when we need them. In the rare instances someone does not answer at the office, we get a quick response once we email them our issue or inquiry.

What a nightmare! Just as another person posted, I have had issues for nearly 2 years with this agency. The Walters Agency and Allstate gave me the run around again and again claiming 32 shingles were damaged and thats all they would replace. The service has been awful. 3 roofers and 2 public adjusters have told me its unbelievable what they have put me through and never have heard or seen such terrible insurance company, Ive been a customer with 3 auto policies and homeowners for nearly 7 years, and the Walters NEVER even called after countless attempts to ask them to help me. As a single mom, on my own with 3 kids, its very painful to know how this agency has taken advantage of me and offered no help, guidance, or service. I have researched and found customers are leaving in droves due to similar issues Im having, additionally Allstate benefits agents to deny claims. Just awful! The inspector said if it was up to him he would have given me a replacement, and the recent gentleman who came on their behalf told me customers are leaving this agency and Allstate at an all time high. Buyer beware...if you like customer service and an agent who is on your side, this is not the place to work with.

It took ver two weeks for my claim to be processed, even though i called and gave them the information the day of the accident. I had told them what happened, but the person i was ralking too had a headset that wouldnt work peoperly. So the information that he gathered was partially wrong. It was fixed a week later and now a whole month later the claim have been put into action.Get your stuff together.-J.F

Great bundle discounts, professional and responsive. No complaints with regards to claims. The shop you choose will depend on how smooth your claim goes as well.

Ive been with Thomas Walters Allstate for over 12 years. Their rates are always competitive when I do periodic quote comparisons, and their service has always been top notch! About 10 years ago a tornado came very close to our house and the next days our agent called us and asked if we were OK. Thankfully we were ok and didnt sustain any damage, and the fact that they proactively reached out showed they know and care about their customers.

I was with this agent for for about 3 years. As long as there were no claims, they had no problem collecting my premium payments. But when I had an accident that wasn’t my fault, they fumbled and put the onus on me to contact the other guys insurance and pursue the issue with them, set up 3 way calls with them and Allstate claims, etc. totally unacceptable.I got a new vehicle and lost a key. Called the dealer, they made one and brought it to me. Replacement wasn’t covered Because it wasn’t considered an emergency And I wasn’t stranded.. cancelled auto after that.And With renters, same thing. Several years, no claims, no problem. Had one claim with a scheduled item. They claim they had no record of, even though they failed to tell me they needed proof of ownership for coverage for every item to be covered. $1k camera lens lost. Heck I’ve paid that in premiums. Cancelled renters after that.So I’m done with lack of disclosure of procedures, having to beg folks to do their job, walking my own claims through their various departments, the disconnect between local agents and corporate claims and being denied because of information the agent didn’t tell me. Clearly our views of what a good neighbor is vary widely.

Allstate is hands down the best! I leased my first car yesterday and had to get my own insurance. I had so many questions and James really helped and explained everything to me!

Theyve been good with auto but not homeowners. Still trying to get roof replacement coverage from a storm back in May 2019. We even have shingles that were recalled but were not getting any help from Allstate. All of our immediate neighbors who do not have Allstate have new roofs. Very frustrating! About to go through appeal process, so wish us luck!

We have had a terrible time and service from this agent regarding a homeowners claim. it’s been so hard on my mom and based on all of our neighbors having their claims approved it seems shady

Always great service at Allstate! Listened to my auto and home needs and tailored a policy that fit our budget. Helped lower our rates for the new 16 year old driver in the house. Highly recommend!!

Be very careful in dealing with this group. Was misquoted a rate for auto insurance and when bill arrived I canceled. Now they want to charge $487 for canceling.

Very helpful in minimizing my premium costs.

The hell with this group continues I submitted a pricing dispute to the NC Department of Insurance and while the dispute was being reviewed, the charges were sent to credit claims. Very classy move.

On the ball at this office! Always friendly, helpful and available to help you here and that is a very BIG PLUS!
