The score would have been higher if it werent for the general manager. Ben and Travis were great to work with. With regards to the general manager, Bryan, I feel he should be available. He would not even talk with me when I asked to speak with him when we were doing the deal. I would recommend Ben all day long!!! He was so pleasant and easy to work with and was knowledgeable about the Tahoe. If he hadn’t been my salesperson I probably would have walked. Travis was great also. He was the middle man between Ben and Bryan so he did the best he could and was pleasant the whole time. After the deal was finally done the rest went smoothly with signing the paperwork. My only suggestion would be that as the general manager Bryan should not make the customers feel as though they aren’t important enough to speak to. While I know he is busy it was near closing time and there was not a lot of people left working deals. It is still about customer service and you as the general manager should be setting the example of how every customer should be treated. I was there in January looking and he was the same way then. So this was not an isolated incident. I only went back to Capital because it was the only dealership that had the Tahoe I was looking for. Not making time to speak with the customer when asked comes across as arrogant and is just bad public relations in my opinion.
My salesman Nate Edge was a very respectful and honorable person to work with. I will definitely be sending everyone I know that’s in the market for a vehicle to him. Not only did he sale my wife and I a new vehicle he has me and my family’s business from here on out.
It was picture perfect, never been in a dealership so nice and organized. Staff was the very friendly and very professional ! I was truly impressed! I would recommend Capital Chevrolet to anyone looking for a New or Used vehicle! I drove 125 miles to get there, and will do it again when I need another Chevrolet! Thank you all at Capital Chevrolet in Wake Forest N.C.
My experience at Capital Chevrolet has been a fantastic one to date! I have only set foot inside the dealer fewer times than I can count on one hand, but the staff has taken the time to greet me and make me feel welcome.Richard C. has been outstanding to work with - throughout the order process for my vehicle, he kept me up to date, addressed all of my questions or concerns very promptly (typically within minutes), and went out of his way to make sure the whole sales process was smooth and seamless.Tony and Jody in service have also both been a great help! After taking delivery of my car, both worked with me to ensure all the work that was needed on my vehicle was done, and these two gentlemen made sure to communicate with me throughout the process.Miguel, Joseph, and Jeff (in sales) have also all been very friendly and welcoming. Miguel is always quick to answer my questions via phone or text, and I never feel out of place while I am at the dealership. It is very clear from the customer care this business offers that great service does not stop after the vehicle sale.
Came here after visiting Sir Walter and was really impressed! Will and the folks at Capital went above and beyond to take care of me! Loved that the manager said hello and brought coffee and was so involved and friendly even though Will had everything under control. Just a really friendly relaxing experience. I feel like they really cared about helping me. Would definitely recommend!
A HUGE thank you to Abdul and the sales and financial staff at Capital Chevrolet who were phenomenal in making sure all my questions were answered and that the best deal was delivered for my benefit. I appreciate all of their efforts to ensure that I was satisfied with the deal and with the truck. Im sure I will enjoy driving it for many years to come.
Went in to purchase a truck that was in transit. Walked in and started to talk to a salesman how was very nice and pleasant to deal with. When we got around to the price of the truck, i noticed that they had added dealer accessories (tint, 3m protective film, nitrogen filled tires) to the truck, which I didn’t want or need, remember this truck wasn’t even on the lot yet. The sales manager told me that if I truly didn’t want them, he wouldn’t put them on but would still charge me. After wrapping my head around to all that, I mentioned that I had a GM employee price authorization number to reduce the price of the truck. The same sales manager smirked and said that will not accept the discount and if I wanted to continue with the purchase. I left and walked out, during which they informed me that all dealerships won’t accept it, and if they do, they would do a market adjustment on the price and increase the price. Pretty remarkable considering with out the employees making the vehicles on the assembly line, they wouldn’t be in business. I found a truck 2 days later and surprise, the dealership gave me the employee price, didn’t add any accessories and was a pleasure to deal with.No need to respond to this post asking me to contact your dealership. I’m grateful I found another dealership that appreciates the employees working behind the scenes**Update**As you can see, this dealership doesn’t even read the whole review before they copy and paste their generic answer.
Mr. Flint is the best! Attentive and responsive to my automotive concerns.
Dajion was very professional and answered all of my questions! I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants results quickly!
I have brought my 2017 Chevy Volt in twice now for two separate issues. Both of which were issues that were covered by warranty according to Chevy corporate as well as a Volt certified technician at a separate dealership. The first issue “shift to park” is a common issue covered under warranty. The service department tried to charge me for it out of pocket claiming it wasn’t covered. I had to litterally show the service rep the Chevy TSB and then she finally agreed that the issue was covered. This latest Issue is an issue with the emissions system which is covered by both the emissions warranty and power train warranty but the service rep tried to charge me $1900 and claimed it was not covered. I don’t know if they just don’t have the proper information or what but they refused to cover the repair after a few days of back and forth. I took it out of their service department and now I have an appointment with a different dealer which looked at the original diagnosis and assured me that would be covered under warranty. It’s certainly been a frustrating experience and I will be taking my Chevy elsewhere moving forward.
The last 2 times I’ve been in for service (once for my Traverse and just last week for the Z71) I assume the oil was changed but I paid for a tire rotation that did NOT happen on either vehicle. I know this wasn’t done because BOTH right rear tires (on both vehicles) had nails and were leaking/plugged and the same tire is still in the right rear position.
I would never take my truck here again ! These guys tried to lie to me that my negative/ positive internal lines are so bad bad that it needs a replacement. While all the truck needed was batteries .After waiting 4 days for parts to arrive I decided to just install batteries by Capital Chevrolet and install the lines the next day .When i called at 930am Catherine kept telling me that they couldn’t get my truck because they are very busy while she told me that my truck will be 1st thing in the shop . After going back and forth with until 3 pm I was fed and told them i want the truck back . I asked them if they installed new batteries she said that the lines are so bad that if they did replace the battery the truck won’t turn on again .I’m so glad I didn’t pay 1800$ for 500$ problem. My truck has no issues now and runs like new .i did pay for diagnostics which I want my money back. !I hope someone honest takes over and fires These thief’s .After i replaced
We were traveling and our check engine light came on. Capital Chevrolet was great to get us in first thing Monday morning. The representative that we were assigned to kept us informed during our stay. What a great facility with fantastic staff!
I am relatively new to NC and was trying to renew my registration and found out that the vehicles have to be inspected BEFORE you can renew, not after. So I had a very short period of time to get 3 vehicles inspected. I contacted Capital and got Katie in the service department. She worked it out so that I got all 3 vehicles inspected in the next 2 days - even though I didnt have an appointment ahead of time. And she kept me informed the entire time. Totally awesome customer service. Thank you!
Waited 2-3 weeks for the vehicle to be serviced. I understand it is a huge dealership and have many vehicles to fix but it was so hard getting an update or a call back from anyone to let me know what was going on. They added extra things that my husband never asked for and then proceeded to charge him for it.
The moment we arrived to the parking of dealership we were received by the wonderful sales representative Mr. Jason Santa-Cruz who was professional in handling his job. Jason explained all features of the vehicles we explored in enough details and showed willingness to give us a high customer satisfaction experience during our tour. Also the financial manager we met at the end was professional and patient during our lengthy cash payment process with the bank. I believe that his name was Willey .. sorry if the name is wrong.
Customer service is the worst I have dealt with. After ordering a vehicle and being told for 3 months it was built and was just waiting on a chip by month 4 after going back in to get more honest answers since I felt like I was getting the run around I found out it was never built and the order had only been excepted. Then I’m told the price I was paying for it when I placed my order and deposit was no longer going to be able to happen. 4 months of getting the run around and then find this out is ridiculous. I would have went somewhere else but this dealer was the only dealer within 500 miles that had our back up option coming in i wasn’t about to wait any longer for a vehicle so we bought it. We were told it was getting delivered on aug 5 then it changed to the 6 then the 7 then the 9 and eventually it showed up on the 10th. They deliver us our vehicle but we are told the steps are on back order and would be here in less then a week and they will also do our window tint at that time also. Now it has been 17 day and still no steps. This place lacks communication as I the customer has had to call to get info because nobody reaches out to me to give updates. On our original order I even reached out to a sales manager and left multiple messages for him and never heard from him. This place absolutely needs better management and sales rep training. The only good thing here was the finance guy Chris Anderson he was a big help and amazing at his job.
I would not recommend this dealership for service. I dropped my car in the morning. It sat all day without being looked at. They wanted to keep it for the weekend so, they could work on it on Monday morning.I never got updates. I never was told. They would not be able to work on my car today. Very poor communication. Very poor customer service.I will never go to this dealership again.
I purchased a 2021 Silverado. I went in for my first oil change on this truck. The lady that help me get scheduled was great. The servicing of my truck is what I’m disappointed in. I had a 1230 appointment. I didn’t get my truck back for 2 hours. That’s a mighty long time for a scheduled appointment for a oil change. I may do another oil change there but if this appointment goes for 2 hours for a oil change I probably will not do any more service appointments here except for warranty work. Waiting 2 hours for a oil change is a bit ridiculous.
Nina, my service advisor, was top-notch. She kept me informed about the progress and arranged a ride home when I dropped my Bolt in the morning. The software updates were completed quickly and my car was returned with a full charge and freshly washed. Hard to ask for better service.
I arrived a little early and they got me right in! So efficient!
We had a great experience at Capitol Chevrolet this past weekend. Ask for Nate Edge to be your sales guy! He took care of us and made sure that we were making the right decision for what our needs were. He was not pushy at all like other dealerships but really made us feel like we were friends of the family. We showed up late and Nate stayed extra hours just to make sure we got everything we needed for our new car. Overall great car buying experience and a super friendly staff!
This place was Fantastic to work with. From our Salesman, Stephen, who was not pushy or slimy in anyway, to our loan guy, Brian, who is funny and understands that most people hate that part of buying a car, so he makes sure you understand what you are doing and gets you in and out feeling like you made a good deal. I would absolutely recommend coming here to get a New or Used car. All-in, we were there for under 3 hours start to finish and left with a new truck and a good laugh!!!!! Thank you guys from my family to yours!!!!!
After going to 5 other dealerships with either no one helping me or poor customer service I was amazed at the service i got at Capital. Cedric was so helpful, approached me before I was even out of my car to ask if I needed help! I will be back to work with Cedric every couple years when I’m ready to trade in. Everyone was so helpful, it was a great experience.
My service advisor Jody Flynn is the BEST. Hes been my advisor ever since I bought my car in July 2012(when it was Bobby Murray Chevrolet) Hes pleasant, knowledgeable, kind and honest...always find a way to make my visit pleasant.
Hello! We had a wonderful experience at Capital Chevrolet! Anthony was great to work with. He stayed in constant communication with us during the build of our car all thru delivery. He had everything ready to go when we arrived to pick it up and we enjoyed his smile and laugh. Chris in finance was fantastic! Easy to work with and quick on his feet! Overall it was the easiest and fastest buying experience we have had. We will definitely be back in the future as a returning customer.
I had a great experience with Capital Chevrolet. Their sales representative, Terron, was very respectful and was available for any questions or concerns my wife and I had. I got the truck I wanted the same day and am very pleased with my new purchase.
Renee Glover does a great job, keeps you informed and I feel she is making my experience the best possible.
I think that it took a little bit longer than expected to repair my vehicle. Im pretty sure I will have bring it back for the same problem. I fill the they should have replaced all the parts with new.
I had never been here before but took my car the other day when my battery suddenly died. The price they gave me for a new battery was $365, not to mention over $2500 worth of charges they stated needing fixing. The advisor I worked with (Nina) came across rude and dismissive as I tried to negotiate a lower price. After going back and forth with her all afternoon they finally agreed to a lower price which was still excessive, but at that point I just wanted my car out of there. Do NOT take your car here especially if you are a young woman like myself unless you want to get completely ripped off
This was my first service appointment at Capital Chevrolet with a new Silverado. Katie was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable! She got me checked-in, and pointed out all the amenities available while I waited. The truck was done quicker than expected and I was able to continue on with my day. Thank you!
My salesperson, Guy Alexander, did a wonderful job introducing me to the Chevy Suburbans and Tahoes. He seemed to have an almost encyclopedic knowledge of all the specifics of the car- from the engines to the various extras and buttons and lights on the dash. He made my buying experience a very pleasant experience. Kudos to him.
Worst experience of my life. Absolutely discussing attitude. I will never recommend this place. My truck was at the service shop for over a month for repairs. They tried to blame me for my vehicles malfunction. After further investigation, the test came back negative. It was just a part that malfunction and cost a chain reaction of other parts to fail. Although the results came back negative, capital Chevrolet did not want to cover the cost of repairs, so I had to go through my insurance. The total cost was over 3000 dollars. Luckily my insurance (Usaa) was able to cover the cost after the investigation. Moral of the story is never ever conduct any business with this place.
Everyone that I interacted with was excellent. The knowledge and professionalism exhibited by every member of the dealership staff far exceeded my expectations and has ensured that I and my family will continue to do business with Capital Chevy and share our experiences with our friends and family.
Found the dealership to be a very nice environment and friendly staff. There was however a long wait to get things done and found the communication slow whilst we were waiting. We were left sitting, waiting for a long time before we were told what was going on.
Great experience esp with our salesman Jonathan Vega. Totally transparent and went above and beyond trying to make a deal. Def planning on coming back to make our next vehicle purchase.
My sales guy Nate Edge was amazing!! Knew exactly what I was looking for and even worked on his time off to get me the best deal! I will only buy cars from Nate! Don’t deal with pushy sales people and dealerships that don’t care about you.. go to Capital Chevy and talk to Nate
Service advisor was hesitant to explain what’s going on. I kept asking to little avail. Simple part install was done wrong and had to come back instantly. Wish there was more openness and contact with mechanics doing the work so I can understand.
Although we (mostly) got there in the end, it took far longer to schedule an appointment than with my regular mechanic, and the communication difficulty in obtaining pricing information and agreeing work items to the vehicle was much higher. I was forced to use dealership servicing on account of manufacturer design, and finding the experience slower and more difficult than my regular mechanic is a deterrent from buying another newer model year vehicle in the future, as I expect the manufacturer will continue to extend design in this direction.
James Taylor was awesome we walked in and he helped my wife and I picked out our new vehicles. He was patience and willing to make sure we got want we want.
Jeff S was extremely helpful! I came in knowing exactly what vehicle I wanted, and walked out with it! He was knowledgeable of the process, and helpful the whole way! I look forward to driving the 2 hours again to buy my next vehicle from Capital! Easy process and great people!
I brought my truck in for warranty work on August 17 due to the transmission having issues. The truck was only at 57,500 miles and was still under warranty. I was told it would take 7 to 10 days to diagnose the truck at 10 days I did not hear back from anybody come to find out the lady that was dealing with my truck was on vacation, so I went into the location to find out myself that there are no parts available and the time is unknown when they will get them! I was not given a loaner car and was not offered a rental car being told “there is non available” Come to find out there was a rental cars available but they were not GMC. GMC will only help you with ones that are there brand! I Told the dealership I need a vehicle to bring my kids to school and for myself to work! I said to them with out a Vehicle I would have to pull my kids out of school and I would have to quit working! There response was “we are sorry to hear that”Also when I first drop the vehicle off two days prior I had the interior detailed when I got the vehicle back there’s a mechanic grease on the inside driver side of the truck! Also I got the vehicle back almost on empty because I had to drive it a certain amount of miles before giving it back because it was transmission work which was under warranty! I would not use or recommend this company to anyone!!
My ac hasnt been working for many years and every time I bring it in for service I ask for them to check it out. They always tell me they cant find anything wrong with it except that its low on Freon. 2 weeks ago I picked up the van after servicing it and they said they added Freon and ac was working good. Took the van on a business trip to NY where temp was 90 degrees and AC didnt work at all. Very frustrating.I discovered AC works okay when its first thing in the morning and the temperature is below 75 degrees. After that is when it is ineffective.
From start to finish, every employee on duty was so welcoming and helpful. Everyone showed so much love to our little boy while we were there completing our purchase. The atmosphere was so friendly and genuine. After completing our paperwork, our financial manager looked over the paperwork one last time and realized a discount wasn’t properly applied and jumped to have it fixed! I didn’t even notice it and he could have very well kept that to himself and made a little more money for the dealership, but he (like everyone else we encountered) truly wanted to get us the best deal/price possible! So thankful we decided to swing by to “just look”. I have already recommended going to capital Chevy to a coworker!
Emmanuel and Danny were phenomenal! Best in class experience.
Wonderful experience. Sales and financial staff were very friendly and helpful.
Unprofessional and overcharges for services they may not even perform on your vehicle. They tell you they they are “waiting for the part” to arrive, meanwhile they are able to fix the issue without it. Then they charge you insane labor charges. Find a local, it reputable, auto care center and save your money.
Always quality work and excellent customer service. Renee and Annie make sure they understand your issues as well as ensure the work is done correctly. Going on a year now will be my spot for service on my car. I so appreciate the drop off service! Kyle is an excellent driver, very courteous and personable. All of you are running on all cylinders. :)
I wasnt sure of how my visit to Capital Chevrolet would turn out, however, Dee and his friendly personality, took really great care of me and my daughter. He was clear and on point in discussing what new promotions were available and how I could be helped in getting into a new vehicle. The process flowed seamlessly and I am extremely happy about my purchase. I enjoyed working with Dee.
Brought my Tahoe in for an estimate for several things, the check engine light came on, there was a noise from the back end, and some kind of leak in the engine bay. Got a call a few hours after dropping the truck off, and was basically told this truck was junk. After I picked up the truck, and paid ver $300 dollars for them to tell me that I needed an 02 sensor, Evap vent solenoid, that the engine bay manifold bolt was broke off, and the rearend need to be replace.I asked what the hourly rate was, and if they use the Mitchell Manual to determine labor hours. Was told no on the manual and that there several factors that figured in to labor rate, which as never disclosed .02 sensor takes .25hrs, evaporate vent can takes .25 hr, both GM parts are about $50, cost me $260 in labor, $39 in shop parts(not sure what parts since they did not perform any work on it).Save yourself the headache and find a reputable mechanic to do the work. Most reputable places use the Mitchell manual to determine the labor charge, since it is an industry standard, but apparently not this place.
I got my 09 Corvette for a very basic, simple and well known problem. It was a broken linkage on the shifter cable in the automatic transmission. I researched this issue and found out that its easy and quick fix. Sadly, it took the dealership 2 full days to get my car ready.During these 2 days, no one contact me, I was the one calling again and again to get updates, even though Ive been promised to get a call back, that never happened. The cost of the fix was super high ! I payed $600 while the cost of this cable is no more than $70. I know there are other costs as well, but this amount is extremely unfair and overpriced. My feeling is that if I will have additional issues with my car in the future, I will look for another place to fix it.I will grade my experience :1. Service - bad, non cooperative, does not show they care.2. Professionality - Too slow for such a basic and simple problem.3. Cost - Over priced, no correlation between the cost of part and the easy work.Im disappointed.
Kristine is the best service representative Ive ever had. Im very happy with the service weve received.
The service person Kristine Lickfelt was very helpful. I have been coming back to capital chevrolet because of her help over the years.
Nina, has gone above and beyond to insure that I was satisfied with my visit to dealership for warranty work.
This was my first experience with your service center and I couldnt be more pleased! Nina was so friendly and beyond helpful! We purchased our Tahoe at another Chevy dealership and have been taking our car there for service. It is much further from our house so decided to try your service center. Had such a wonderful experience that we will definitely use you all moving forward! Thank you for such great customer care!
My wife and I were searching for a vehicle to replace my gas guzzler. James Taylor was our salesman. I found him to be pretty straightforward and very personable as a salesmen. 10/10 would recommend him to friends and family. Would also purchase another car from him. Here is where our experience was ruined(almost).Chris. Anderson. That name is now synonymous with trickery, unprofessionalism, and deception in our household. Chris is a(or the???) finance manager. As I was buying an older vehicle as a secondary car, I was interested in buying a dealership offered warranty. Chris was all too happy to oblige—but did not provide any paperwork detailing coverage, levels of protection, nothing. We asked about their coverage, and the only offer that was pushed was a four year coverage that, in Chris’s words, “covers everything.” It was $4,000 added to the loan. We asked about just a power train warranty and lesser options, to which he said, “I wouldn’t offer that to my sister.” No pamphlets, nada. Well, I bought the plan. What the heck—I usually have good luck with them, and I wanted one, anyway. Well, after mulling it over for a night, my wife and I decided to reach back out to Chris to see if there was any paperwork regarding the warranty. He FINALLY sent over an email with details, but admitted that he “didn’t have any of the paperwork” regarding the warranty when it was offered and bought. Seriously? Your only job is to take care of financing, which includes warranty details. Bring that to the client when you sit down to do paperwork. When he was again asked by my wife about other warranty options, he spun some tale about how he couldn’t even offer them and needed permission. Once again-really? What kind of shenanigans is Capital allowing Chris Anderson to pull? We all know salesmen will be salesmen, but I find all of this to be shady and really sleazy.Capital has great options for your vehicle needs, but I won’t put my name on the dotted line again if they sit Chris Anderson in front of me.
Nina Holmes provided excellent customer service, was friendly, professional and wonderful to deal with. I had an appointment and it did take quiet a while for the oil change (several hours). I hadn’t expected to wait that long, but Nina still made the experience pleasant. We purchased our vehicle and had the service package with the Rick Hendricks Southpoint dealership in Durham, but we have been very disappointed and have received very unsatisfactory service at that dealership. We paid cash for our vehicle and service package outright and had higher expectations as customers! We were so glad to complete our service package and be able to try out your dealership with our first oil change with this experience. We plan to be back and honestly Nina is the biggest reason for this! Her care, positive/pleasant attitude, and the interaction with her from start to finish was what dealerships & service departments need more of! She truly deserves an accommodation for her excellent customer service and our family looks forward to working with her in the future and forming a relationship with the dealership and service department.
I was searching around for a reliable every day car for my family and I contacted Will Lopez at Capital Chevrolet. He was very patient showed me few cars and we finally found one that I loved but it was located near Charlotte. He immediately sent out drivers to bring it to Raleigh for me. It was a satisfying experience on top of an amazing deal on a 2019 Honda Accord. We absolutely love it. Thank you Will Lopez and the whole team at Capital Chevrolet. Highly recommend this place for an easy trouble free transaction.
Octavia, was so knowledgeable and very polite. Very easy to talk to, she workedDiligently to see ensure my needs were met. The staff and manager, Awesome!!! My buying experience was one I truly appreciated.
Tyler Johnson did a great job of taking care of my truck repairs in a timely manner. Russell Stephens was the technician and he has always provided excellent service. These two guys are the best!! Thanks for a job well done.
Absolutely professional friendly environment. Jeff Sladek was an awesome salesman. He communicated very well and took really good care of our family needs. Jeff got my husband exactly what he wanted.. Jeff is Highly Recommended
Purchased a used car on March 20, 2021, driving from VA Beach, VA.I appreciated how quickly they replied to inquiry about the vehicle in which I was interested. We were able to set an appt for the weekend when I could come down and complete the purchase. I was able to get my credit application started early and that helped speed up my transaction while at the dealership. They had my car ready & waiting for the quick test drive before signing the paperwork.I had a minor issue with a sensor working correctly, but I was able to work that out with them.Everyone at the dealership was fantastic and although they were very busy with lots of customers, I didnt feel like they rushed or pushed me along.Thank you for a great buying experience!
This is hardly my first experience with Hoot Gibson; absolutely a fantastic buying experience. And my finance experience was great as well with Mr. Willie Perry! Capital Chevrolet has me as a customer for life!!
Great and easy experience and Ben has been so helpful from the beginning to now! Even when I forget how to work a function in the vehicle, hes patient and helpful. Everyone looking for a vehicle should ask for him!
Very friendly environment and very helpful people. Will definitely recommend friends and family to go there
Mr. Gibson Hoot was amazing to work with. Very thorough and communication was incredible. Willie in Finance was great to work with finalizing the purchase. Thank you.
Very professional and friendly environment. Made my purchase and experience extremely comfortable.
It is always a pleasure doing business with Capital Chevrolet. From getting my cars serviced to purchasing a new car all the employees are helpful, professional and friendly. I was really impressed with all the safety precautions they were taking during this pandemic when I had my cars oil changed last fall. I used to go to the Raleigh location. When Capital Chevrolet moved to Wake Forest I was so excited as it was closer, and seems so much bigger.Just last week I purchased a Equinox from your salesman Terry Hodges. It is a 2021 Pacific Blue Equinox Premier as well as the third Equinox I have purchased from Terry. I am so excited about my new car, it has everything I wanted in it. Terry Hodges is extremely knowledgeable and makes purchasing a car stress free. When it comes time to get another car or truck I know where I will come to. Yes it will be Capital Chevrolet.
Worst dealership ever. Would give them 0 if I could. Paid cash for a vehicle and they ran to the bank with my money. New vehicle the door was broken and the windshield washer container has a hole in it. Plus they failed to have it inspected and DMV can’t issue a registration until the dealership does the paperwork. They refused to talk to me about the issues. They told me I bought it and I needed to fix them. Now refuses all my calls. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP UNLESS YOU WANT A HEADACHE!!!!!! WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!!!!!
Dee was amazing to work with! He was patient, kind and not pushy. We enjoyed our experience with him and hope to be able to send friends and family his way!
Service department did not fix the problem, and the vehicle had to be returned to for further service.
Work was completed as requestedNina was very polite and helpfulSaw my salesman Hoot Gibson while I was there!!!!Very pleasant experience!!!!
Great initial communication as i work an extensive schedule and prefer communications avenues other than calling. Scheduled to come by and purchase a car from the dealer and as i got there through a scheduled appointment and seated was advised that the car I wanted was sold. WAS advised that they called me several times which was from an unsolicited number with no voicemails being left to advise that the car had been sold that morning.Wont be doing business with this dealer in the future. If you call a customer back regarding a vehicle that has been sold. Make sure that you leave a voicemail so that they do not waste their time coming to the dealer.
Will Lopez is the man. He gave me some great feedback for my vehicle search. I definitely will be purchasing my next vehicle from Mr Lopez. He definitely exceeding my expectations and I will tell all my friends and family about my experience at Capital. Job well done. Cant wait to bring the wife so we can purchase our new car.
I made appointment Sat. for 8am on Tue when i came they said i did not have appointment then they came back and said ok If it want for Terry Hodges and Russell the technician you would lost a customer This happen on the 25 of this mo. we stay all day there but Terry kept coming to offer us his car to go home or go out to eat. you could ask for A BETTER PERESON.Terry Hodges and Russell and Stacey did a great job.
Hoot is a dream to work with, also Ed in the Finance Dept. I was not nervous at all, they were very upfront, honest and knowledgeable. I felt confident in this buying experience and will refer my friends and family, to come to Capital Chevrolet. I will be back.
The dealership looked great. They had a good selection. Everyone was nice and the purchasing process was easy and fast.
Mr Williams was polite, friendly and professional. He did everything to ensure I was happy with my new car. There was no owners manual in the car; he has promised me that he will source one within the week - lets hope his outstanding service continues now I have purchased the car.
I want to give a huge shout out to Demetra, Chris and Benjamin for helping make this one of the quickest and simplest car buying experiences Ive ever had. We absolutely love the Jeep and it was well worth the 750 mile drive to get there. You guys were awesome and absolutely get a five star.
I was not looking forward to the whole used car dealership process. I was prepared for sleaziness and salesmen trying to cheat you out of everything. I searched non stop for 30 days looking for a used car. My roommate had recently purchased a new Malibu from here and highly recommended his salesman, Chris Knott. Chris threw all of those stereotypes out the window. He was extremely helpful, did not try to push me into something I didnt want or couldnt afford and he went above and beyond to help me find the perfect car. It felt like he sincerely wanted to help me. Do yourself a favor if you are in the market for a new or used car and ask for Chris.
Service department is absolutely the slowest in Raleigh. Got my truck bed cover installed 3/22, it took 4.5 hours for them to get to my truck and install the part even when the appointment was set. Some manager called me saying “next time you need an oil change it’ll be on us”.Today 6/28, I had an oil change, they didn’t even 2 hours later my truck is ready. What is the point of an appointment if they don’t start on your vehicle until 40+ minutes after you hand them the keys. I called the number of the manager who spoke to me about the free oil change, —no answer—. I paid and left. Luckily they washed my truck off, what a win!Nearly 7 hours over 2 services that both had appointments. Just schedule your appointment anywhere else if you value any of your time.
My first routine service on new 2500HD. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Chevy pays for the first one. Included oil change, tire rotation, and top off fluids - including DEF. Service advisor told me they may not get it done that day because they were backed up. No big deal, I have another car so didnt mind waiting - Covid has turned everything into a patience development exercise. Then I found out it wasnt going to be ready until two days. Advised I was going out of town and would just pick up on Monday. Called Monday to verify work was completed and found they hadnt started on the work. Ended up I didnt get the truck back until Tuesday. So, dropped off on Thursday and returned Tuesday for routine maintenance. Worse, this is the second time my 2020 truck has been in for service. First time was because fuel sensor died after only few months. Took a week for them to get the part and find a mechanic to replace it. I bought trucks from Capital Ford for 20 years but tried Capital Chevy this time because it is haul now to get into Raleigh for service appointments. But, I always received excellent service at Capital Ford. The relationship with Capital Chevy is off to a rocky start.
I looked online got a call from the awesome miss Keyanka and then Chris in Finance was amazing but most of all Nate was a God send he was patient with me and they made a miracle happen! GO ASK FOR NATE AND GET YOU AN AWESOME CAR LIKE ME!
I really like this dealership however after my second vehicle purchase it all went downhill. When I bought my current car the salesperson put their Capital Chevy sticker on on the rain, after taking off my old car and it fell off. I went to go get my free oil change and now since the sticker is gone, I have to pay. Never mind that I bought the car from them. They will not honor my free oil change because apparently I can’t advertise for them any longer. However my car has a Capital Chevy tag on it. I am not happy.
Helpful and courteous, thank you for your attentive and friendly service
I flew from DC to Raleigh just to buy a car from Capital Chevrolet. They picked me up from the airport in the car I was purchasing, I had a great test drive back to the dealer and they made the transaction quick and easy. Many thanks to Sia, Dajion and Will for helping me with my purchase. Cant thank them enough for their outstanding service.
Held the vehicle for two days before calling with a diagnostic. When i arrived to pick up the car, stood in the lobby for 5 mins before anyone asked me if I needed help. The level of service is horrible, steady declining. I try not to come here and rather go to a local mechanic
Mr. knight was a great salesman and has sold me 2 vehicles now. He addressed all my questions and it was a great experience buying with him both times!
Hands down the best car buying experience Ive ever had. Caleb was very informative and very kind, very professional and kept a smile, answered all our questions. I love my SUV! I have found my forever dealership, I will always come back for all my future car purchases. Thank you so much for everything Caleb and also to Chris, both of you guys have amazing personalities! I recommend them 1000%
The entire staff at Capital Chevrolet were so accommodating and helpful! I am a first time car buyer and they made the process quick, efficient, and informative! I had the pleasure of working with Terron Huffman, what a wonderful salesman!
My car buying experience here was amazing. Everyone from my salesman, Terron, and Rueben and the finance guy made my car purchase such a smooth and easy process. They were very patient with me and all the questions that I had. If Im ever in search of another car, Capital Chevrolet will definitely be my first stop!
The “Hoot experience” enough said. Very knowledgeable, excellent customer service and gave me all the information I needed to make a good choice for my new vehicle. Thank you.
Jerrod was awesome. Took care of us through the whole process. Was not pushy and handled our sale with professionalism. We will seek Jerrod out when we are ready to purchase another vehicle.
Mansour was amazing! We loved working with him.
Nice dealership with lots of inventory. However, extremely poor customer experience by a gentleman with the name of Travis. Committed to a price and then backed down. Lots of back and forth. It all worked out in the end because the car I missed was actually $3000 above market value :)
Everyone was very professional and helpful. My sales person was outstanding! I will most definitely send my family and friends to him. I loved his customer service!
I was told the service department purposefully double books oil change appointments. When I schedule an appt for 4pm, I dont expect to be told after I get there that it will be 1 1/2 hours for an oil change that takes less than 30 min. I watched and my car sat there until 5pm before it was taken back. This was the one and only oil change I will get at the dealership since I know 1 1/2 hours is the normal wait time.
Sales person was Octavia. She was very knowledgeable and professional. Started well from online to phone conversation. Even once at dealership everything was great until finance manager stepped in. Of course the normal negotiation process when buying a vehicle back an forth. So the issue came once finance manager offered me a deal and I accepted it. He then came out with the numbers on paper which he had removed some of my discounts an was trying to show them on my trade in. He had also not honored the price he had offered me to make the deal. Once I realized what he had done. I made it know to what he had done.. He really had no response for me. So of course I made my way done the road. When leaving I was informed from sales person that they would call me next day once g s manager came in bc they as well heard the deal that was offered. On that note I still have yet received a call from the dealership. 🤷♂️ very disappointed with the dishonesty in the end!!
My wife and I had a great experience and we can’t to purchase our next vehicle from them.
