Looks very clean, well maintained and quite secure for an away-from-home storage place. Also, it is deceptive in size. A huge collection of various sized storage units to rent. FYI: You MUST have and USE A VEHICLE to enter the locked gate and exit in the other side. You cannot enter/exit on foot as this is a security concern to them. You also cannot enter or exit into or out of the lock gate area from the office. Office is open M-F 9a-6p, Sat 9a-3p, and SUN by Appointment ONLY. You can access your storage unit behind the gates 7 days a week from 9a-9p. If you are in by 9pm, you can leave without a problem, but you cannot get in from 9pm to 8:59 am 7 days a week.

Dislike the new company that bought this Aarons

I’ve lived in different states and a lot of cities. So we are constantly having to use storage facilities. This one has by far been my best experience. Super clean facility and extremely friendly staff. Greg is one of the nicest people I ever met. He went above and beyond to help us get out of a jam. I will continue to recommend this place to everyone.

I have had my stuff stored at this place off and on for approximately 4 years. Greg has always given me the best service anyone can. When I walk through the doors I feel like family. I definitely will use this place again. The buildings here are well kept. The lot always clean. Easy online payment too. The moving truck they have is nice. The prices here fair. To me you pay for what you get. The service and security here definitely is worth the pay.

Very satisfied with my experience. The storage units are kept clean and the customer service is excellent. I rented a large unit for a move a few years ago and recently rented two large units for a few months, and both experiences were the same: the best customer service and the units are clean, secure, easily accessible and climate controlled. Also convenient that they sell moving supplies. I didnt expect to feel so strongly about an experience at a storage unit, but Greg made sure that I was satisfied and taken care of whenever I stepped into the front office. Ill definitely return to Aarons Self Storage if I am in need of a storage unit again.

Management and staff were perfect! So nice and helpful! Everything I needed they had, I went up a size in units and they got me switched over same day to accommodate me. I was able to get a lock from them and it’s great they have a moving truck!! 10/10, would recommend!

I cannot say enough about how amazingly helpful and professional they were! Friendly service that was clear about fees and also let me know ways to save money when the time came to move out. We rented a climate controlled unit to store our sons precious scrapbooks; they are extremely valuable to our family and I trusted Aarons to take care of them for us.Greg was wonderful to work with; very professional, helpful and he took the time to answer all of our questions. The staff was very helpful.The storage units are nice and safe. I never had to worry about the safety of my belongings because they offered me a brand new and unopened lock to purchase. The place is well organized and well managed. The man that helped me went out of his way to make sure all my needs were tended for. Price is reasonable as well.

Always efficient, the grounds are spotless and Greg and the staff view security as though everyones belongings are more important than anything else. I have been with Aarons for 6 years. I have had 1 large climate controlled unit and 1 outdoor unit. I also had another unit at another facility. I needed to consolidate my storage for cost reasons. Greg Lemke assisted me in doing just that. I was able to downsize my indoor unit, take a larger outdoor unit, close out my unite at the other facility. This reduced my monthly payment by 1/2! During the move I was allowed to use Aarons moving van which made the move so much easier. Both my older units will turn around quickly so I see it all as a win/win. Aarons is a very clean and very secure facility. I find that all my storage needs have been met and I plan on using Aarons as my storage facility for many years to come. Thanks Greg for all the help and thanks Aarons for providing such a great storage facility.

I was immediately greeted when I came in. The gentleman listened to what I had and recommended exactly what I needed. He didnt try to get my last nickle. I was one of the first customers at this Aarons Self Storage. I stored my Teardrop trailer for 8 years at this location. All staff were courteous and friendly. The facility has been kept in great condition. I will never hesitate to recommend Aarons Self Storage as home to ones family/business possessions.

Our storage was broken into this last weekend, along with seven others. Our unit is located in one of the climate controlled halls, so we have always felt it was secure. What we didn’t know is that the outer door stays unlocked 24 hours a day. We had always assumed that it was locked after business hours. Although we did wonder, at times, why there was not a passcode on the outer doors for added security. We knew that they had security cameras and a gated fence, so we wrongly assumed, that our things were safe.We spoke with the man attending the front desk, while the police were there, and asked him why the outer doors were not locked at night. I told him that they need to put on their website that: your items are not covered by our insurance, only the structures are covered. He said if you do not carry your own outside insurance, you can use your homeowners insurance. I told him we no longer own a home, that is why we have a storage unit, we do not carry homeowners insurance.He was very apologetic and also said that he would speak to the owners about the possibility of either, locking the doors or installing a security keypad. Also he was searching the security tapes with the officer, he assured us that they were doing what they could to find the perpetrators of this crime. But I do not understand how you can advertise that you’re secure facility if all of the doors to the inside units are not even locked, even after closing. When they find the perpetrators on the tapes and it shows them carrying our things out (through the unlocked doors) then there should be some kind of monetary compensation.

We are very pleased with the facility. This location is secure and monitored regularly. Greg has always been a pleasure to work with and provides honest and direct feedback to fit customers needs. We have used Aarons for almost 2 years and will use them in the future as well.

The management at Aarons Self Storage was very helpful and accommodated to our time schedule. The storage unit is very clean and safe. Purchasing our own lock helped to assure safety. They also offered to help us move our boxes into the unit. Working with them was very easy and we had no problems.

I would definitely recommend this location! We rented a space here for six years. The only incident was when I failed to properly lock our unit. Greg noticed and contacted us right away. Great customer service.

My experience was the best! I rcvd nothing but A1 service. The establishment was very nicely kept, very clean, and highly secured! I had no issues whatsoever!

I used Arrons Self Storage 4 times throughout college. They were great every time. The facilities are very clean and safe, and the managers are extremely helpful. They offer free moving truck when youre moving into your unit. All you have to do is ask manager, sign a few papers, take the truck, and return it when youre done at no extra charge.Greg Lemke was the manager at my last location (Wooded Acres) and he was extremely accommodating and helpful. I used this location twice because of how happy I was after the first time of using it.I recommend Aarons Self Storage to anyone in the area. It is by far the best storage unit in town.

Pros: best prices in Waco for climate controlled self storage. Clean units with good drainage. Cons: poor record keeping leading to being locked out of a paid, current storage unit on more than one occasion. Unresponsive to problems on the weekend.

I was confused and instead of being greated nicely and with help, I was greeted by a very grumpy and rude manager/owner, he laughed at me and proceeded to not answer my yes or no question of. Unfortunately they went down hill after new owners took over! They increased the rates by $30 for all the units, I wont use them ever again......

There are many self storage businesses to choose from so I am very happy that I was able to rent a storage space from Aarons Self Storage on Wooded Acres Drive. Its secure, clean, and I find the person who works behind the desk, specifically Greg Lemke, to be friendly, efficient and always helpful.

My sister Elida de Leon had a storage unit #520 where she and her husband had all their furniture for 2 yrs 10 mos..but when my brother in law went to retrieve furniture some of his furnishings had been destroyed by rats which he has a video where he showed it to the person that was in charge. My advice to him is to report Aarons storage on wooded acres to BBB(better business bureau) his dep was not even returned. Please keep in mind this is so unprofessional and false advertisers and are liable for damages and returning of deposits when returned in timely manner.
