These gentlemen are great to work with! I rented a van and appliance dolly the night before to move a fridge. Got there near opening time and as it turned out they didnt have any appliance dollies in stock, not their fault, just the system wasnt updated. As I told them what I was doing, they upgraded me to a 15 truck with a ramp to help with the fridge move and keep me from having to lay the appliance down potentially affecting the refrigerant (I had not thought of that). Professional team these gents and helped me in a pinch! Highly recommend!

The truck was fine. The employees were very rude and acted like we were lucky they were waiting on us at all. Very unpleasant experience. The guy who checked it in tried to claim I was short on gas when I returned it with more gas than when picked it up.

I honestly dont see how you can improve it! They were fantastic! I even forgot my debit card in the U-Haul when I went to pump fuel to return it, and they immediately called me to let me know. I am completely satisfied with this establishment and the employees there! Mr Brent was very kind, and so was the older gentleman who found my debit card! Honest employees make any establishment worth its value!
Went with a friend and this place is garbage. These guys tried to up sell him and then laugh because we weren’t falling for it. Nice try though next time learn how to treat customers better and maybe your up selling skills will actually work. Here is some advice for anyone looking to use these guys: research the prices, if you know you don’t need something they are trying to offer (an extra charge) don’t take it, and if they try to make you feel like it is necessary just leave.

If I could give a zero I would. I called in and asked about getting a tow hitch installed. I told them what I wanted it for. The part was ordered and I was given an apt for 8 days later. I get there had to stand in line 30 min with an apt.n they didnt have my part in. In speaking with the salesman. The part ordered for me was not going to do what I needed it to do and they didnt have what I needed. So 2 wks of time invested and no hitch.
I returned this vehicle after hours and the app to check it in would not work. When I picked up this vehicle the gauge said 64 miles to empty. I returned the truck with 62 miles to empty. The odometer read 37086 when I returned the truck. I get my receipt and they charged me $30 fee for refuel and 5.7 gallons of fuel and my receipts have an odometer reading of 38104. If the app doesn’t work be careful dropping off because they will take advantage of the situation. I will never give I haul another dollar.

Went to one location, they didnt have the vehicle we reserved so they sent us here. This location didnt have the 2nd vehicle that was reserved for us. Now I am going to the third location and hoping they have a vehicle. Whoever assigns rentals needs to be able to read and if it is an automated system, then it needs to be updated.

The best U-Haul in Texas probably!Very professional and knowledgeable and friendly and caring!The U-Haul in Plano had screwed up with my trailer hitch installation big time and those guys here in Waco fixed it so professionally.I just cant thank them enough really.I had my trailer hitch installed at U-Haul located at 1501 N Dallas Pkwy, Plano, TX 75093 on June 18, 2012. I made an appointment at 10a.m. and they took care of other walk-in customers before starting on installing my hitch so my installation process took 30 mins longer than expected while my apartment manager was waiting for me at the new apartment I was moving to. All in all it took 3 1/2 hours to install it. The person in charge of installation told me he had installed the hitch for Subaru Forester before and it was very difficult and time consuming because he had to drill a hole, which seemed very unlikely at that point. Why would any car manufacturer make a SUV without considering the fact that people might be getting a hitch installed to their car.On August 10, I had to rent a trailer from 1200 Lake Air Drive, Waco, TX. I made an appointment and went through the online check-in process so that I could make it on time for my appointments in Dallas. I even took a day off from work to pick up some furniture. I went to U-Haul at 9:20 a.m. and when we got the trailer hooked up the signal lights werent working. There was only one lady working at the office so she called around for an hour and a half looking for someone she might know to help her figure out what the problem was. Meanwhile, I called the Plano location where they had installed my hitch hoping to be able to get some answers over the phone. The front desk lady answered and told me that they were just too busy she wouldnt be able to transfer me to the installers at all and that it was going to be impossible. First of all, it wasnt her call/decision to say if they could spare a few minutes or not and I am also customer who spent $350 for this just a month ago. I really wasnt happy with how she handled the business.Then we finally got to have the other U-Haul located in Waco offering to help me so I drove over to their location. Jose was superb. He replaced the fuse that had gone out and gave me two more spares and sent me back to the original location. The fuse went out again three times so I ended up driving back to the location again. They then had to take everything apart to find out the following problems.1. The power wire from the battery to the black box was run in-between heat shields, the muffler, and pipes that would have eventually melted.2. They shouldnt have gone through the tail light. In other words they didnt need to drill a hole in my car. My car already had a quick connect ready inside the car only if they looked at the computer manual, which is what Jose did.The U-Haul at 4216 West Waco Drive, Waco, TX 76710 was extremely helpful. They felt bad I had to go through what I didnt have to go through at all. Three guys worked on my car replacing the box and the wires and fixed everything and got it to work.I ended up wasting 4 1/2 hours at two U-Haul locations in Waco because of how the Plano U-Haul has handled their business. But had it not been the guys at 4216 West Waco Drive I would probably never use U-Haul again. Thanks, guys! You guys are AMAZING!
It took over 2 weeks to get the parts for my car to put a hitch on but once they got them they had the hitch on my car in about 2 hours. Roger did a good job installing it.
IT IS A SCAM COMPANY. It charged me 30 dollars toll fee. But I never went on the tollway, there not even a tollway near my location. I only been driving 10 miles. I reported more than 6 times, but no one gives me feedback no matter from email, online chat, phone call, or claim.

I have a motorcycle. I needed a U-Haul to move my motorcycle and all of my belongings out of state.I asked for help rolling my bike up the U-Haul ramp. The working members on staff were extremely impolite, and said that its not their responsibility to help. I do not have a car, I do not have any passengers or friends with me. I had me and my motorcycle.I wound up rolling my motorcycle up myself. without any assistance from UHAUL members. I fell off injuring myself, and causing extreme damage to my motorcycle. LUCKILY for Uhaul, their truck and company suffered ZERO liability.The man who showed me such respectful attention was the tall skinny, rude, young looking white kid, he was not even worth remembering his name. Hes likely a manager their now, due to his extremely selfish attitude.
I have rented trailers from this U-Haul store many times, and I have never had a problem with them.
