The staff at Express Employment were very friendly and quick to respond and place me with an assignment. They were understanding of my situation and did everything they could to help me get started! I have not started my first assignment yet but I am excited to do so and feel like I have the support to succeed. I was hesitant to apply with Express Employment at first because I was not having luck with other staffing agencies but Im glad I took a chance on them because they are taking a chance on me. I walked in to Express Pros on a Monday after getting laid off from work. I spoke with Mike Elliott, handed him my resume and paperwork and told him which job listing I was interested in. The next day, I already had an interview lined up with the company! From day one until the day of hire, Mike was the most efficient, pleasant person to work with. He helped communicate my needs to my future employer, and made this is the smoothest process ever. I would greatly recommend this company!

I completed my application online and arrived at the office during the time indicated. The receptionist was kind and upbeat. The gentleman who Did I my interview was not. I dont even think he liked his job. He gave me a fast and hurried explanation of services and told me to check in often. I was then hurried out the door. He was very curt. He actually advised me to check in through the Express app so that he, would have even less work to do. I did checked in daily and called about positions I was qualified for. I was promised interviews bit there was no follow up. I would not recommend the Waco Express office. The whole experience left me feeling degraded. Like I was just another name to be added to their roster. The Temple Express office had me placed within 24 hours and was much more personal. The drive was worth the better service and sucessful results.

I moved to Waco a little over two years ago and had no job lined up at all. took my time and sought the best agency in the area. That brought me to Express with Mike. He and the rest of the staff was from the first day to the last day nothing but helpful supportive and extremely nice. I am happy to say i no longer need the services as I was finally transitioned to a full time employee with my current office Mike helped get me in to nearly 2 years ago. I moved away, and when I came back, I spoke with both Mike & Mark after updating my application and was placed immediately in a position where I was hired on with the client company. Worst experience ever!!! The receptionist was very friendly. That old bitter man has the worst attitude. He was more worried about his lunch break acted like he was swapped with people and it was only me and my husband there. Coming from another state and trying to look for a job is extremely hard. That old bitter man asked my husband why he was dressed like that. My husband had casual work out jogging pants and Nike shirt. We used Express Employment Professionals for a major, nine month document imaging project. The people they sent us were very professional - they showed up for work on time and went to work...very little visiting as they worked and got the job done ahead of schedule. Of the total of eight people they sent us during the project, all eight showed up for work over 80% of the time and five were there over 90% of the time. We had virtually no personality problems with the people they sent and in fact ended up hiring two of the temporary workers to full-time positions.I can highly recommend Express Employment Professionals!

The Waco franchise is a family business. They are super picky and not always professional in attitude. Jobs offered are severely short and are more like cheap paying gigs. Most last one day to one week. Not recommended for those who need to make ends meet.

Express employment is wrong! I worked with them for a long time and when i was laid off due to a transition in companies i applied for unemployment until i found something else and mike chose to tell the unemployment office that i quit and i was not laid off.. i had the flu my last week of work and i have documentaion of that and i reported it! Mike said that is basically quiting.. so now i am denied unemployment. I will never tell people about this place or have any dealings with them again.

Mike was rude and not helpful. After all I said was I brought my resume in, he said thats not what we need and hangs the phone up I mean who does that. He doesnt give you a chance to speak or anything. Rude as hell. And I believe everyone on here is lying. He is a rude person. He needs not to have a company anymore. I am not the only person who has had problems with him and he gives Express a bad name.
