I had my vehicle tinted in 2013, and it has been perfect until 2021. These guys looked at my tint and said their warranty would cover a complete replacement. They let me drop my car off the same week and had it perfect again by that evening. Ill definitely use them again for my tint needs.

There was a man there on intial inspection of my truck, told me a lot of things i didnt know about my windows. Provided me with information concerning legal limits in the state. Provided his personal opinion, really liked that.Work was quick, took less than 45 minutes. And the job itself was excellent. No bubbling, no wrinkling.Pricing is amazing.

Amazing family business. Prices are defined by the difficulty of the job. So lets say if you have a suburban its going to cost more to tint because you have more window surface to cover. Going with them warranties all tints in the future and replacements and also easy removals.

We definitely recommend this tinting shop. We just took my Audi Q5 there. The guy was super nice. He spent the first twenty minutes just going over all the the types of tint, pricing, and what would work best for our needs. He explained all of the warranties with each tint type and payment plans they have available. They have a convenience store, huge waiting area, clean bathrooms, and kids area for while you wait. They were quick, maybe around an hour or so, and the tint looks great on my Audi. They tinted my panoramic sun roof too for not much more. I can already feel a temperature difference in the car, especially since I have black leather interior.

Great place. Very satisfied. Theyve tinted my Dodge Dakota, 350Z roadster, and Audi A4. All vehicles were to tinted very well without issues.Addressing the person who reviewed and said they had scratches on their windows, they were probably already there. If your car is older, there will usually be a decent amount of scratches. The window tint can make it more noticeable. I had the same concern and had to go back up to ask about it.I will say, they really should tell everyone what they could experience up front so people dont freak out when they think their tint has bubbles and scratches all over it. That would really improve the experience

Recently had my Mercedes Benz tinted in Virginia Beach. Was thrilled at the tint itself but the installer completely broke up my rear dash in my car. It looks terrible. I hope they have some sort of plan to get my dash fixed. This has been a great big disappointment to say the least!

I truly regret my decision in choosing this place to get my newly purchased car windows tinted. The actual tint job that I got was as simply put, horrible. Each window has numerous bubbles, scratches and dirt trapped between the glass and the film. They had my car for an hour and some change and the job still looks like it was rushed or done by someone with no experience. Not a professional job to say the least.In an attempt to get it fix was an even worse experience. No customer service skills by any of the employees. I experienced unprofessional, condescending behavior and disrespect by the owner. Not an environment any paying customer should endure. I do not recommend taking your vehicle here. Use them at your own risk. There are plenty of other tinting places in the area that I’m sure you’ll get a better quality product and experience from.

So excited to get window tint installed on a car I just bought 4 days ago..all I got is a burnt window trim seal, and a film full of bubbles. I paid $100 for someone to ruin my car. We called and they asked us to come back. Will update once they fixed it. So disappointing.

Went in there because I couldnt get hold of a competitor across Witchduck and glad I did. I did not make an appointment but dropped what he was currently doing to get me in. He tinted my two front windows within 45 minutes. I had my 1 year old son with me and we sat in the waiting area. He was very accommodating! Windows came out perfect, no bubbles after a couple days.

Had my windows tinted today, when I picked up the car the film was all scratched, came back, the lady at the front disappeared 20 minutes, came back and said they checked and there was no scratches, after insisting on having someone to check with me, she finally sent the person who installed. The guy found the scratches and said they would not do the job correctly because they just finished with my car, when I came back to talk to the lady again, she said if I wanted a perfect job, I should pay 800 dollars to the factory to get it done. Im taking them to court just so they can be bothered by this as much as I was. Dont do business with them.

I had an issue on Christmas Eve with express window tint in Hampton and I posted how disappointed I was with my experience. In less than an hour after the post I received a call from the owner and he apologized for my negative experience and we worked out the issue over the phone. He did not have to do that and I am very appreciative that he took the time to hear my concerns. His attention to detail was second to none and I will continue to do business with express window tint and I highly recommend the store to anyone.

I called on Sunday morning wanting to set up an appointment. I called about 5 minutes after they opened and they immediately put me on hold for at least 6 mins. When they finally picked up I asked if they had any available appointments for today. The receptionist rudely answered that they only do appointments on Sunday. I said I know that is why I was asking if there were any available appointments. She again rudely said no and before I could say anything else like when is the next available appointment I could get she hung up the phone. I took my car there 10 years ago and had an outstanding experience but now after being hung up on before I can try to set up an appointment I wont ever go back. They must not want business that much if they are hanging up on their customers. Im only giving it a 1 star because I have to give it a star to get posted. I wouldnt be giving it any stars if that was an option.

Called and set my appointment was quoted $120 plus $30 extra to get the darker film. Got to the shop and was told they tried to call me to cancel my appointment because they wanted to close due to the rain. Ok isnt your work done indoors? Showed me the tint options and was told they dont even carry the $120 tint in darker shades. So now the price jumped up another $30. Their computer is broke so the consultant proceeds to text my credit card information to someone at their other location. Great so now my credit card number is saved in her phone. Had to call my bank and cancel my card after this shady transaction. Never got a call when my car was ready so I came to pick it up from the car wash side of the building after the tint shop was closed. Walk up to my car and there is a big piece of tint stuck to the roof and muddy footprints all over the rear floor of the car. The rear window has a piece of dirt that was tinted over and 2 side windows have large scratches in them. Also found a few exterior issues where it looks like the rubber window seal has been cut. So the next day I call and make a appointment to bring the car back. I have a 1:00 appointment and drop my car off at 11:30am at 4:45 just 15 minutes before closing I again get no phone call so I go back to pick my car up. Come to find out they never even started on my car. They ask me if I want to bring it back another day. Like yeah I dont have anything better to do than come here and leave my car all day. So I end up sitting there a half hour while they get the car in. Spoke with the owner and asked for a partial refund. He refused. Offered me a discount if I want to bring another car there. Yeah right. The 20% film I requested looks more like its 35%. But who knows what I paid for or what was installed since they didnt give me any paperwork, warranty information or receipt even after Ive asked 3 times now.

Made an appointment with them to get my car tinted. The guy that was supposed to do the job did not show up. They tried to reschedule me on another day. But i was afraid of them flaking on me again.

They have done three of my trucks now. Absolutely the easiest people to work with have never had to wait to get a vehicle tinted. They are usually done within two hours and Im on my way.

Would have given it zero if I could. The whole job was shotty, uneven and scratched and customer service to get it repaired even worse, though they say they fix scratches for free in their guarantee. How about fixing the scratches you made. They refuse to fix the tint. The company is a joke

Reasonable prices, great work

My experience with this business is not really a good one. I took my wifes 2013 Charger to Express Tinting to have all the windows done. We went in on a Saturday with an appointment and there was no one there. The store hours on the window were clearly marked. An employee arrived about 20 minutes after they were supposed to be open, to open up for the day. After she got settled in, we discussed prices, which seemed fair. They had a few different grades of tint to chose from and my wife and I choose the second to the top. We were told it would take a few hours so we left. We received a phone call in a reasonable amount of time and returned for the car. We looked over the job and found a lot of air bubbles and what seemed to be a poor at best job. We were told that the bubbles would come out when they tint cured and dried and to give it a week and if there were any problems to bring it back. We were also very displeased that they didnt tint the entire rear window. They only went 3/4 of the way up. When we asked about that, we were told that the tint wouldnt stick to the black coating at the top of the window so they could only go that far. They also said that we should have been given the option to put a black vinyl strip to cover up that area, which was additional money, and we were never offered it. So after some discussion, they decided to do the vinyl strip for free but we had to come back the next week. Well, after a week of waiting, the bubbles did not go away and we had to bring the car back for the vinyl strip anyway so we went back, pointed out the issues with the tint and were told they would be corrected. After leaving the car there for a second day, we returned to find the vinyl strip had been put in and now there were problems with the tint on the rear window, though some of the issues which we had addressed were still there. We were told we would have to come back again. We went back two more times for issues like this and on the fifth trip to Express Tinting, I talked to the owner. He stated that he had the top 3 tinters in the country working for him, which seems odd to say, and that he is the best tinter around. He also told me that if I could get a better tint somewhere else that he would refund my money and pay for the new tint, but if he found any flaw that he wouldnt pay. So not being a fool I didnt take this bet. Eventually Express Tinting did refund a portion of my money and did an OK job of getting my wifes windows done and made everything OK in the end, but the hassle and time spent getting it done was not worth it at all. I would not recommend using Express Tinting to tint your car.

If there was an option to have zero stars they would most definitely get it. The service was horrible. I ended up walking out. Customer service is garbage. Im surprised they are still in business.

Previously had two vehicles tinted here with great results. However, I brought my brand new car to the Hampton shop. The tint had severe bubbles in it so I brought it back for correction. This, in itself, is not sufficient means for a poor review. As long as it gets corrected. The tint was corrected but they stained the headliner at the rear window. I tried to allow them sufficient opportunity to get this corrected as well. I had the tint corrected 10 Mar and was still being told they were looking into getting fixed 22 Mar. Then no additional follow up to 3 Apr when I finally just contacted someone and got it fixed myself. They did reimburse me but I dont feel I should be responsible for correcting their mistake.
