I usually take my vehicles to another guy to get tint work done but they were backed up until 9/27/21 my buddy gets his vehicles done through Hector and referred me to him and I am more then pleased with the work he did quality work a little bit more then my other guy but the saying goes you get what you pay for definitely will use Hector in the future

Best guy in town for tinting. He’s tinted 15+ trucks for me since he’s been in business and I have sent him countless other customers as well. The edges are consistent and the film is good quality. They are wayyy over priced I took my truck somewhere else and they told me they woulda did it for $160 cheaper and I got a quote on my car they told me it would be $300 and I called the tinting company that gave me the good price and they quoted me $175 for my car I will never take my vehicles to this place ever again....

I had my car tinted in 2016. In the same year, I noticed that my rear windshield was beginning to bubble. I could not see out my rear windshield very clearly. I was told that I had a Lifetime Warranty so I decided to wait and get it repaired at a later date. Fast forward to 2020, I decided it time to get it repaired because I could not clearly see out of my rear window (very blurry)... just for safety reasons overall. I spoke with Hector to schedule my appointment. With a lifetime warranty I thought it would be fix and completely covered by the warranty. I was wrong. Hector informed me that I would have to pay $120 to have my rear windshield tinting fixed. I informed him that I had the paperwork that stated Lifetime Warranty. He told me the warranty was only for 2 years.In 2016, I was pleased with the work that was performed. Now (2020) Im having to re-tint my rear windshield and maybe my whole car in the future. One suggestion - please discuss and clearly understand the Lifetime Warranty that is provided to avoid wasting your time and money.

UPDATE: 4-18-21 I called Hector the owner and remind you that I have brought 5-6 vehicles to him in the past. I called to see how much for a mustang and the two rear windows are small as heck. He quoted me more than what I paid for my truck to have all 4 windows done. Sad to see years of a relationship tossed out the window. Check elsewhere for pricing. UPDATE: 4-24-21 I called two shops in Chesapeake that have more reviews and better ratings and they are willing to do ALL the windows less than what Hector will do the driver, passenger, and the two small back ones. His prices are crazy high.

I just installed new interior pieces in my Saab 9-5 and wanted to start protecting them immediately. I called around to many shops today, and Pro Custom was the only shop who was open. They were willing to take my car immediately! I was somewhat skeptical, as I had never heard of the business. I drove down to see Hector, and the rest is history. I opted for ceramic tint, which is the most high end option available. In two hours I received a phone call that the car was complete. All I can say is, the car looks like it was tinted from the factory. This place is the real deal! Thanks for the awesome, friendly, prompt service. The car looks great.

Just needed the old tint on our back window removed and then retinted and then the sun strip on the front. We made an appointment and the car was completed in the two hour window they promised. Only reason I am doing 4 stars is because I cannot provide 4.5. I noticed some specs on the rear tint from the old tint where it seemed to be missed from where it was scraped up. Nothing major at all. I would recommend them again and we will probably take our next car there when needed. Thanks Hector!

I called around to a few places. 1 place wanted well over $220.00. Thats a lot for tinting windows. I called Hector 3 times during the week making sure there would be an availability Friday or Saturday morning. His coworker did an outstanding job. I chose to keep everything legal. But the tints have really made the paint pop on my Camry. I did it to protect the interior not for looks. It was just a bonus after finding out Toyota said they would split the difference of my sun peeled steering wheel, I chose to go a different route. I was in and out in 2 hours and the work was done with 100% craftsmanship. I would recommend Pro Custom Tinting to anyone who is looking to have there windows tinted. When I was a kid I used to work as a mechanic at a Lincoln Mercury Dealer and I remember watching the guys come in to tint the windows and Hector and his coworker even more professional then guys that came to the dealer. I just left here to get my windows tinted they went through all the different tints with me and let me know which was legal and not. I love it, it looks nice on my car. It turned out amazing and I also have a life warranty as well. Cant beat that! I looked online for vehicle window Tinting and Pro Custom came up along with a few others.. its was the reviews that made me decide to go to Pro Custom. After chatting with them online, made an appointment (Jan 15, 2020) said would take about 1 1/2 hrs to complete job.. 1 1/2 hrs later job was done..Got what Virginia State Code for Tint on All Windows 50% front/35% all of back..(2019 Honda Fit LX).. I am Very Happy with the finished results..was Worth paying a little more than the rest for the job done.. Thankyou ..

This place is a joke! I paid for the top of the line film that they have to be put on my new vehicle. When I picked up my vehicle I was concerned about the bubbles on my car. He stated that all of that would go away after a few weeks and if it didn’t the work was guaranteed and I should bring it back and he would fix it. Brought it back as directed and he laughed and said well that’s to be expected since it’s not factory. I told him that’s not what he said when I paid for the service to be done. He told me that he could redo it but it would look the same way. He asked for my receipt which I showed and then tried ripping it up. He told me to come inside to get the refund, which I did and he called the cops on me saying that I was “entrapping” him in his office. The cops came, we explained what happen. Of course they felt bad for us because they could clearly see that there is bubbles in the car window tint. They stated oh man you should have gone to T&T. They do a way better job and for cheaper. The cops left and as we are pulling out of the parking spot we were in, Hector (he said that he was the owner) came out and stated that he would give us a refund if we would sign a waiver relinquishing him from the lifetime warranty. He again told me to come inside. I told him I would not be willing to go back inside because the last time I did he called the cops on me. I did tell him that I would wait outside for him to fill out whatever paperwork he needed and bring it back out to me and I would sign it. In the mist of waiting for him I noticed a female who was familiar with the place pulled up and went inside. She came up to my car stated she was in fact the owner and that I needed to tell her what happened. I told her that I had been here for to long to go the all of the BS that I had already gone through with him. I told her that he said that he was going inside to write up something for us to sign and that he was going to give us the refund. She was getting in my face and was talking over me. I asked her to back up and I told her it’s simple...are you going to give us a refund or not? After much hesitation, she says that she is going to need my ID. You didn’t need my to put the tint on the car, but not you need an ID, so you can get more of my information and harass me. I don’t think so! It is messed up that they would put anyone though something like this... but a military family in the mist of a cross country move!! Come on really?? All military personal and families, please go somewhere else!! This place is unprofessional and do not live up to their word. BUYER BEWARE!!!

My truck was broken into so my driver window was replaced. I had my windows tinted previously and my OCD couldnt handle it not being the same. I called PRO Custom Tinting around mid day and Hector said if I have time to bring it down. My appointment to get my window fixed was at 3:30. I called him at 4:30 and said I would bring it down (I assumed he was just going to look at it and quote it then schedule a time.) Nope! He looked at it and said pull it in! An hour later and I have my truck re tinted and with a sun visor! Awesome!!

Got my windows tinted on my 2018 Chevrolet Silverado. Very satisfied with the quality of work and service that was being provided. I would definitely recommend these guys.

They do great work here. I have had multiple cars done here and would recommend them. You can find better prices elsewhere and they do take a bit longer here than at other shops but they do great work.

Hector fit me in the day of, I scheduled a 3:30 appointment but I arrived 30 minutes early just in case and he took me in then and there. He let me pick my tint and he got started right away on my Focus Hatchback and was finished within the hour. Great guy and offered great customer service, I will definitely be bringing my BMW to him next!

They broke the rear defrost tab off the back window of my car then claimed they didnt do it. And wont pay to replace my window so now i have to pay $300 out of pocket to fix it. I DO NOT RECOMMENDED GOING HERE.

Great job Hector! Had my 2013 Kia Optima tinted by him when I was first stationed in VA Beach in 2015 and it looks nice, havent had any problems at all and was in and out in about 50 minutes. Very good attention to detail and professionalism here, since then Ive recommended many friends who ask.

Just finished my window tint so can’t do a full 110% review but shop was clean and I was able to watch it get done which is always a plus. Once I wait the full 20 or so days so the natural bubbles can get out I’ll edit my review and up a star if all is well.But the reason I took a star away is because when I bring my car in I want it out the same, just with tint.My BIGGEST pet peeve with my car is standing on the sides of it when you get in it. After they were said and done I had dirt and foot prints all over it. At least if you “have” to do it, clean it up afterwards.

After being jerked around at another tint business on S Lynnhaven rd I called Pro Custom. Hector gave me a quote and stood by it. He immediately got me in, and actually 15 minutes before they opened. Work looks fantastic. Only place I will call from here on.

Pro-Custom did my windows in my truck today. Very happy with the quality of work. I have had windows done by many different tint shops and will use these guys again for sure if Im in the area!!!!

Tint looks good. Easy to schedule. Ill update if anything goes wrong with the tint, but I doubt it will and I know they would fix it no problem.

I came across this shop due to another completely blowing off my appointment. There was no wait time, Hector got me in and out with a great price, awesome work and the lobby was very clean. Lifetime warrenty and he makes sure you are happy with the end result before you pull off. Deffinatly referring anybody I know to stop in.

Price changed within 30 mins. 180 on phone call turned into 200 when arrived. Had peeling tint in the back. Luis stated that if it was his car he would just tint over the peeling tint. Unbelievable when asked how much to remove and do it right, turned into over 450 bucks. No wonder bay was empty. Also business is deleting negative reviews and keeping positive ones. This is the 3rd time ive had to post

They are professional, quick, and did an excellent job tinting my car windows.

I went there to have my car tinted. Waited an hour. They started my car and did not finish. Just did the back window. The man was on his cell phone for most of the time and even stopped for 30 minutes to have a conversation on his phone. I disliked my experience at custom window tinting so much that I had to write a review to save anyone who is like me( customer service focused) the trouble of dealing with terrible service, incomplete work and unproffessionalism. If you want your car tinted do not go here go somewhere else. They don’t even have Lumar tint. They use a knockoff and charge Lumar Tint prices. A waste!!!

I was looking for a location to get my window tint done today i didnt want to wait. Called this place and even though the business closes at 6pm i still got my tint done. Didnt have to wait long at all. Waiting room is very clean though there was no snack machine so bring your own soda lol. Service was excellent with 3 options for tent from basic to best. Will even get a fair rate if i have to have something done down the road if i damage it in some way. Good place to go highly recommended. And I dont even give reviews so there you go.6
