My washing machine was broken, it would not spin or drain. I called Brad at B & R Appliance and he did not hesitate to set me up a time to come over and look at my unit. He was in my home for about 20 minutes, completely fixed my washing machine and gave me pointers about my dryer that I might want to keep an eye on. He was prompt, professional and polite. I was more than comfortable having the work done and completely trust this company!
This company is excellent from the representative answering the phone to the technicians! They were affordable, responsive and understanding! Highly recommended!
We used B & R previously for a repair to our refrigerator and were very impressed with the technician. This week, our dryer stopped working and we called B & R. The technician quickly diagnosed the problem, told us the cost to fix (which was very resonable) and did the repair. We will definitely use B & R for our next appliance repair and will recommend them to our friends.
I have used B & R for parts for years and always find them excellent. My expensive, only two year old microwave stopped heating. I took off the decorative frame and put the microwave in my car. I called to see if they could fix it in their shop and B & R said yes. I dropped it off at 2:30pm on Monday and they called me at 12:15pm on Tuesday to say it was ready. Larry helped me load it back into the car. By dropping it off I saved the charge for them coming to my home. I am very pleased with the service and the price.
Called today and the secretary was super nice to me and made me feel like I was a priority. She gave me a window of time to be home for the repair and everything went perfectly. Thank you, B&R! Very dependable and I will use your business again.
Great repair company that I have used on many occasions. Although they were unable to get the job done most recently, they did not charge for time and materials (easily could have charged me and not looked back), and instead made a recommendation for another company that specialized in the specific brand. Good service and good ethics go a long way!
B&R repaired my dishwasher last week. This is the second time I have used them. Two different appliances. They were excellent both times. I highly recommend!
These guys are awesome. My washing machine and microwave were broke so I called them after a friends recommendation. Larry showed up fixed them both in about an hour. I think this guys knows everything there is to know about appliances. Very professional and very reasonable rates. I highly recommend them for all your appliance needs.
Secretary is extremely rude and seems put out to have to talk to you. I also spoke to a man on the phone who was just as rude. They called me but Itnever rang because I didn’t have service. All good. I called and left a message that weekend asking to schedule the appointment. They never called me back on Monday so Monday afternoon I called them to schedule the appointment. This already annoyed me because I shouldn’t have to call them when I already left a message . They act like they’re above you. Was given a 4 hour time window and was supposed to get a 30 min ahead call, but never got call. They came out and looked at washer, and diagnosed problem quickly but had to order a part and would call back when t arrived. They didn’t call back for a full week! They then tell Me they can’t get to me for another two days to install. I get same 4 hour time window... I call because no one shows and I waited an extra 30 min AFTER their given time window and am brushed off because of the technician having a family emergency. Why did I have to call them to find out they were not coming? Then they want me to reschedule....but they can’t come out for another WEEK. Keep in mind I haven’t been able to do laundry for almost 3 weeks at this point. I asked them if they have another technician that can come out and do it and they tell me that the technician has apparently taken the part with them and they can’t get a hold of the technician. So they don’t even know where the part is for my washing machine at that moment . Basically they get an attitude with me because I want to be able to do my laundry and find this whole situation ridiculous . I call my landlord he gets the same sob story who also informed them that their employees problem should not become a clients problem. So now I’m sitting here today waiting for them to come in the same 4 hour window of time. Which once again is completely only during work hours and nobody shows up. It’s now been almost 4 weeks since I’ve been able to do laundry and nobody showed up. Now I get a phone call from them telling me to reschedule for tomorrow. With the same four hour time window so I have now wasted four full days waiting for them to fix it. Most ridiculous customer service and poor management I have ever seen. Fingers crossed it actually gets fixed tomorrow! Why don’t they make appointments? Only being available 9-1 on weekdays is HORRIBLE for people who work....and I have had to make this work FOUR days now!
We rent a condo & have had no choice but to use this company when needing repairs over the past three years. While I can’t speak on the pricing, the repairs are only subpar & the customer service is the worst I’ve ever come across. On several occasions, we have not received phone calls for follow-up visits regarding the replacement of parts on our appliances for weeks after the initial visits and order for said parts have gone in, meaning we have had to follow up on the repairs ourselves. Additionally, we have had visits missed on more than one occasion & when we have called to check on the whereabouts of the technician, the receptionist has flat out denied that a visit was ever scheduled. Speaking of the receptionist, I’d like to note how incredibly rude she is. I have never come across someone who seems so miserable in their job as she is. I dread any time I have to speak to her over the telephone. If I had a choice in the matter, we would not be giving B&R Appliance any of our money or business. It is actually quite sad that we are looking forward to our lease ending and moving at the end of the year so that we never have to deal with this company again.
Quick, responsive, and got the job done extremely fast. The lady on the phone doesnt give the best first impression, but she is very helpful once you talk to her a bit. Ive asked my property manager to call this company first for all our future repairs.
The receptionist that answers the phone is extremely rude. I asked for a phone call 30 minutes prior to arriving at my house during the 4 hour window given so I could make it home to meet them. She said they prefer to give a 15 minute notice because they cant stop in the middle of a job to call me. And that if I thought about it it would make sense to me. I have used B&R in the past and they have been great but if they person answering the phone is going to give me a hard time and be rude, there are plenty of other vendors that would like my business.
My Grandmother called this business to get our washing machine checked out as she felt it was shaking too much. She was told that it would be 59.99 for the service man to come to the house and if there was a problem she would be informed and could then decide to pay for the extra parts and labor it would take to fix the issue. Sounds reasonable.Let me start by saying that she felt the repair man that came to our house was very pleasant and helpful. After a few minutes of inspection he stated that there was nothing wrong with the washer. He then told her that he adjusted the foot on the bottom of the washing machine so that it sat evenly on the tiles. He did not inform her that for this service, he would be charging an extra 70 dollars for labor. As she payed with credit card and did not look at the bill, she unknowingly payed a total of 129.99 dollars for this visit. After realizing this she called to discuss the matter with the company. She felt the lady she spoke to was rude as she stated, Did he fix the problem? she said well, yes and then the lady said nothing. She then said that he was only there a couple of minutes and it seems very poor customer service to not be fully informed before being charged. She was told that if the problem on took him 5 minutes the charge is for a full hour and with that she ended her call.I will not do business with the company ever again. In retrospect I think they took advantage of my 84 year old grandmother and handled themselves in an unprofessional manner. If there was nothing wrong with the washing machine, we should not have been charged an extra 70 dollars for labor. If the little foot under the washing machine needed to be adjusted he could have simply informed us that he thought this was the issue and given us the option to have him adjust it for 70 dollars. I would have happily twisted the foot to a level height and I would not have charged an 84 year old woman 70 dollars to do so. But this option was not given. The message here is that I hope you are very clear with your service repair person if you utilize this company. Otherwise, you will be taken for more money then you think and treated rudely if you inquire as to why.
Great people that work there, great place to get the parts that you need. Very very reasonable prices.
Fast, friendly, got the job done! Larry was attentive & very professional!
Secretary is extremely rude. Hung up on me and was very disrespectful. A work order was put in, back in January and I was just contacted about it a day or so ago. Got angry when I told her we got someone else to fix it because they took too long lol I guess her feelings got hurt because THEY took too long. Worst company ever. Do not recommend AT ALL.
We have used B & R for many years. They come, they repair, and their price is reasonable. $138 to clean dryer, new hose, cleaned vent. Other places with a discount were MUCH higher. We will continue to use B & R in the future.
Wonderful lady at the desk. Very helpful. Thank you.
We had a heating element go out on the oven. We told them that. They told us it would be $69.99 for the service call and that would go towards any labor. Total charge was $197.00!! The part is $13.99 online. I called to find out why it cost $200.00? The rude secretary told me it was $69.99 + $75.00 labor + $52.00 for the part! Ripoff. It takes less than 5 minutes to replace an element.
Ice maker was there two weeks. I called twice with no return phone call. Today.....two weeks later it still hasnt even been looked at. Im taking my business elsewhere.
Very reasonable, fast and friendly!
I was thinking about calling this company for repairs, but if the rude secretary is still there, Ill look elsewhere.
Awesome people
Extremely rude secretary
