Great clean laundry mat.RUDE EMPLOYEE working today.I try to never leave bad reviews, even if they deserve it.She wouldnt allow my service dog inside, fine, no problem, Illtake her back out to the car, no problem. from that point on she seemed to have it out for me,No signs on building referring a mask requirement, however I was told to step away from her. A gentleman walked in that she seemed to know, without a mask, they carried on a lengthy conversation standing right next to each other. The guy even made a joke about not wearing a mask.This is NOT about masks. I dont mind wearing one, if asked. She was RUDE she singled me out and picked at everything I did until I left.I had to throw some trash away and she made me take it back out of the can and out to the dumpster in back.She literally watched my every move to have a reason to complain.

Ghetto people out side smoking crack I’d stay away from this place, get betting lighting and definitely check parking lot, will steer clear of this place

Incredible never been somewhere so clean and friendly and they even check your I’d on you credit card before allowing you to pay for a laundry card! Even the ash tray outside gets cleaned regularly! I’m very amazed!

I love going their to wash my clothes.. Employees are nice the one white older elder lady is sweet and always helps with any concerns besides, their is one lady with the glasses that has an attitude problem.. And act like she sees a ghost every time I come ..atmosphere is clean..

I usually go here to do my laundry. I prefer coming here for a long time. We have a washer n dryer at the house but its lovely getting all my laundry loads done in one hour or so instead of one by one. Renee is Awesome and does an outstanding job. Thanks Renee!! I appreciate you

Great laundromat for all your needs. No one bothers you and its actually pretty clean. First time using a new card you have to get a worker to load your card and they generally dont talk or are a tiny bit passive aggressive that you made them stop watching Netflix on their phone. Otherwise usually have movies playing on the TV so if you dont have a phone or have kids, it can keep them occupied. Also have a vending machine for snacks and drinks.

It’s RARE that I actually enjoy coming to a laundry facility or even more rare that I stay while my clothes are being washed.It’s CLEAN, very light traffic, and as it’s my first time here in this one, the attendant was/is VERY helpful. Didn’t even have to ask for assistance as she saw me struggling lol.Overall, since my washer and dryer have conked out, I can safely say I’ll be coming to this location more often.If there was a big negative, I’d say that having to take my clothes and put them in another machine because there are clogged detergent compartments was annoying.YASSSS FOR THE LAUNDRY CARDS!! I came here to wash a bed quilt that was too big to fit in my home machine and this place is very neat organized and a great place and very simple to use I would recommend it if you need to do some laundry or something too large to fit in your home machine is a great place

First off, WAAAOOOOW!!!! When I say how much of a pleasure it is to do laundry here, Im dead serious!!!! It has been MANY years since I have done laundry at a place other than at home. My dryer broke a few days ago in the middle of doing my clothes so I had to go somewhere. Things have definitely changed, but for the GOOD!! When I got there, I found out that you had to purchase a card to use the machines and had NO idea what I was doing. Lol!Im disabled and cant lift much of anything heavier than a few pound, wellTHE SWEETEST woman came up to me and walked me through everything, including helping me place the clothes in the correct sized washer! What great service!! And she showed me which sized dryer to use as well!! Also a huge plus is they have HP parking right at the front doors. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

This place is amazing. So clean and the attendant was awesome. It was my first time at a laundry Matt and she walked me around showed me everything and helped me figure out what I needed. Wish I got her name she was amazing and made me feel so comfortable.

Dont know why there isnt an option to pay. Why do I have to pay $1+ how ever much I need for a card just to wash??? Ill stick to the place Im use to going. Definitely wont be back.

I like the concept and it was clean. Some machines out of order. As it was my first time, the attendant could have been a little more welcoming & helpful.

It was clean, but the cost of washing and drying one large load was almost $20.00! For that price, people could easily make payments on a W&D!!! Good thing I was only washing 2 comforters that wont fit in my home units!!

Expensive way to do laundry, but the place is clean and feels safe...very crowded at peak times. The touchless car wash there is fantastic and honestly has no equal in VB.

Very nice place with an attendant there to help if you have questions. Kinda pricey but nice washers. I took my Down comforter here and to wash it cost $6.75 in a 3 load washer, they have different sizes, and it cost $.76 every 10 min to use the large capacity dryer. I took my own laundry detergent but they do sell some cheap box detergent for $1.00. I would definitely come back although Im sure there are less expensive places.

I have been to alot of laundromat in my time this is one of best ones I have been to it has free Wi-Fi and the machine are clean and all work. I had my son with me and most time he has nothing to do but there was alot of kids around and he was having fun playing with them. I have no problem spending my money at this place or telling my friend and family about it.

Dryer took 30 minutes to dry a load of towels😒There is a $1.00 fee to get a card to use😮 to use the machines... good thing I dont plan to go very often.

Quick and clean less than an hour!

Place is always cleanwhen we go in. Signs on both doors limit of 9 people allowed inside. Everything is caution taped off. Everyone has to wait outside in their cars. Most of the people entering were wearing masks but lady working there was not pushing it.

Nice Laundromat. Easy to use. Friendly service. I took a comforter that wouldnt fit in my washer and I believe the wash was about $4 and to dry costs about $3 ($0.50 for 10 minutes). Much easier than dry cleaning. You have to get preloaded card to use the machines. There is a five dollar minimum to upload. Dont do like me and put five dollars thinking it will be enough, then have to upload another five when it was not hahaha.

Today was the first time going to a laundry mat that I can recall. Right away the 2 ladies, Renee and Dani came right over to offer assistance. They not only walked me through each step from purchasing the card needed to pay to use the machines, Dani put the detergent in because the machines are tall and I wasnt able to see which section it went in the first time.Then while my clothes were washing and no one else needed help Dani came and sat and talked with me until she was needed elsewhere. She then assisted with the drying process and again kept me company.After my laundry was finished both ladies came over to make sure everything was fine & to thank me for coming in & took a few more minutes to talk then Dani left for the day. Renee, who by now I found out was the manager insisted on helping carrying out one of my baskets & putting it in my car.No wonder this business gets such high marks but these 2 ladies deserve more than 5 stars, they go out of their way to treat every customer kindly. They truly know the meaning of great customer service!

She helped me figure out the machines and even gave me some of her own detergent to use since everything of mine is still being moved here from California. There are nice booths where the kids and I sat and had snacks while we waited.The machines worked well and quickly, and before we knew it, everything was ready to go home!

If you need your laundry done, this is the place. Pretty standard rates as laundry places go but if you’re there on the weekend, Peggy is the best! You’ll never meet a sweeter lady, so don’t forget to tip her for her time and attention 😍

So Ive never had to use a laundromat before and since I had just recently discovered bedbugs in the home I needed to make sure those suckers were not going to survive in my clothes. I had let the lady know my situation and that I needed some advice and she was more than willing to literally walk me through each and every step. Super sweet, funny and had the best customer service Ive ever experienced ever. The place is extremely clean and the machines definitely do their job and do it well. I have a whole wardrobe of clothes I gotta take care of and I will be coming here for every piece that needs washing. All I hope is that they get paid well cause if not then they need a raise, they deserve it.

Fair Pricing, Clean and Safe.Just stopped by Soaps-N-Suds to wash my comforter, bed sheet and some pillow cases. ($5.99 to wash and $0.72 to dry)This location is very clean and complete. They have everything you need althouhh I bought my soap and fabric softener from farm fresh across the street. The card thing to use the machines are very easy to understand and there is instructions wherever you go. By far the best laundromat Ive been to.

I love how clean and well taken care of this place is. I drive from Portsmouth to Virginia Beach just because the machines and dryers do such an amazing job. Definitely i feel its worth the drive. Ive tried many laundromats and have been extremely disappointed. Such a waste of money because the fact that i spent money on my clothes to be washed and dried. My clothes didnt seem clean at all. Our HIGH-TECH laundry machine FAILED us yesterday. The Soap-N-Suds on Holland Rd. was the closest to home so I gave it a shot. Grabbed anything resembling a quarter and off I went with 3 huge bags of laundry and a heavy pocket of Washingtons. When I got there I realized just how long its been since Ive been to a laundry mat. NO quarters needed - credit card and laundry cards! Crap! To my delight, the attendant, Francine noted that I looked a bit confused and came to my rescue. She got me going with the card and all my loads started. I had 5 machines ready to go when she looked at me and said, Three will do it. Anyway, got out of there for much less $$ than if I had winged it on my own. Francine was very friendly, HELPFUL, and pleasant to deal with. The premises were very clean too.

This is the best laundromat I have ever been in. The employees are very nice and its super clean. They have 45 pound dryers in here and washing machines that you can wash your huge blankets in.

I was suprised how nice it was. I havent had to use a Landry Mat for years and year until my washer and dryer quick working in my place I rent. Soap n Suds had many large light industrial washer and dryers. A few small washers too. Spacious, and free wifi which is hudge. Some both like seating and folding tables. Because the washers are so large I was in and out in less than an hour. This was my second time each time I used the two larger washers. The biggest washer was too big I think for what I needed.The lady that is running the place is very very helpful hopping from one person to the next. In my case she helps me reload my card before I tried my hand at it. Funny every time I went there they had Mash 4077 on. But my laptop wished me away while My time to leave was soon upon me.Thank you, great job all around!

They have alot of machines and they typically work with no issues. I had an instance where the machine charged my card but didnt start today and the attendant was completely rude with giving me assistance. She made it seem as if i was trying to get one over on her despite the fact my transaction history from my card showed i was charged. After proving that, she was very short and mean toned, not helpful, and barely informative on what she was doing. Its as if it was an issue she actually had to do her job. Great facility, but this particular staff member was absolutely horrible.

There are lots of machines and a wide variety. They work well and care operated. The attendant was super helpful and walked us through the whole process because wed never been here. Theres TVs and plenty of seating.

Great place to take your comforters for a freshen up. The customer service is great because I was clueless about having to get a Soap N Suds card and then load money on to it in order to use it for the machines. The place seemed clean to me.

As it stands now you can stay inside watch TV and fold your laundry, so long as you have on your face protection and stay six feet away from everyone else in the store

Dryers are .75 1 cycle for ten minutes expensive. $2.95 for old washing machine, 6.75 for xtrea large washing machine, and $3.29 for small washing machine. Customer service was a minus D (on an average A-F) The blonde lady came over and told me my nephew needs a shirt on. I explained to her that there isnt no sign saying no shirt no service. That they need to put a sign up before coming to their customers about not wearing a shirt. Before leaving I explained again that they might want to tell the owners to put up signs on both entrances asking for shirt & shoes. I will never go here again.

I am not from the area and this is the first time i have used a noncoin laundrymat, all i can say is CONFUSING! However having said that the lady whose name i didnt catch was amazing and so very helpful. I felt safe and like i was in a very clean and upscale place. Way to go!

It was nice and cleaning in here the attendant was very friendly and the washing machines and dryers look fairly new and in good working order and the prices to use the machines are very reasonable Ive washed the comforter and the medium-to-large sized wash machine and I was pleased with the price and also with the drying times

You know, for what it is, its not bad. I thought laundromats would be dirty and weird, but there are TVs and seating - and the machines are pretty clean. Its not cheap but when youre in a (laundry) bind, its the place to go.
