The staff is knowledgeable and professional. What I love most about Nurse Cheryl is that she helps you see your face as a whole and not segmented. This approach means your entire face looks more youthful and not just half. Nurse Cheryl isn’t pushy with procedures and will honestly tell you when you don’t need anything. This is also why I love Dr. A, he is also honest enough to say when you don’t need a procedure and if you do what is the best option for your body. I can’t praise them enough!

I had a CO2 fractional laser treatment with Patty Weeks. Patty gives excellent care. She explained every step of the way, kept me comfortable as possible, checked up on me the days following. I can’t recommend her enough.

Hands down best plastic surgeon and team around. I have been coming to this facility seeing Dr. Alspaugh and his team since 2019/2020. I had my second breast augmentation, mini tummy tuck and liposuction done at this facility. They made me feel comfortable and we’re very professional right from the get go. Dr. Alspaugh and Cheryl were very honest about what to expect and what the outcome would be. Dr. Alspaugh fixed my prior breast augmentation completed by a different surgeon in another state and made my breasts more even and fuller. At surgery Dr. Alspaugh and his whole team of nurses and anesthesiologist were wonderful. They worked very well together. Answered any questions or concerns I had from my first consultation, surgery day and after. I still regularly visit Cheryl for Botox and juvederm filler. She is the best! She provides truthful and knowledgeable information regarding the products and provides suggestions on what “you may need or want” without going overboard and looking un natural. I have also visited their spa for facials and laser work completed by Helena who is also great!!! I will continue to use Associates in Plastic Surgery for any future procedures needed!

Dr. Denk and staff truly deserve a 10 star! I went for a consultation w/Dr. Denk in 2015. I loved his compassionate professionalism, and honesty. Of course after the consultation you meet w/ the coordinator, and recieve a little blue folder, which entails your cost break down, financial info etc. BTW I still have my little blue folder 5 years later, LOL! Well, after 5 years of working out, and numerous gym contracts, I threw in the toweI! Told my husband Im so disappointed with my body, and nothing is working anymore. So we decided, as a team, to make a call to Dr. Denks office! Afterconversing with Gabi, the patient coordinator, for a few days, she advised me Dr. Denk will be calling me soon. He called me the very next day. The following day I recieved a call from Gabi scheduling my appointment for 360 Lipo, inner thigh lipo, modification tummy tuck, and BBL. I was a little concerned after leaving VA Beach in 2017, and moving to St. Louis which is over 900 miles away. Gabi, help me with all our arrangements, making it an easier and less stressful transition. She made me feel like I was her only concern. WOW!!! Once we arrived in Va Beach I recieved another call from Gabi; making sure we had a safe trip. She asked if I had any questions for her, the nurse Jennifer, or Dr. Denk. The day of my Pre OP Dr. Denk made certain my husband and I, had a full and complete understanding of the surgical procedure he was preforming. DOUBLE WOW!!!!The morning of my surgery, we arrived at the facility, it was decorated beautifully, but I was so freaking nervous I couldnt appreciate it! HaHa!!!! ONCE again Dr. Denks staff came to the rescue!!! The nurse made me feel comfortable, we actually were laughing so loud the other staff members came in the surgery prep area, and starting laughing with us. It was awesome!!!! Sooo, now here comes Dr. Denk gliding in, and the first thing he asked was are you ok, and are you ready? He makes your feel like FAMILY and NOT just a patient. My Post-OP experience was phenomenal! It didnt matter to Dr. Denk how many follow up appointments I needed. He wanted to make certain I was happy with the results, and he addressed all concerns, knowing I had only 2 weeks for my return to St Louis. Im now 1 month Post Op TODAY January 10, 2020 and the office staff remains genuine with follow up phone calls. TRIPLE WOW!!!! Dr. Denk, my nurse Jennifer and coordinator Gabriela have stayed in constant communication with me throughout the process. Its been one magnificent, experience!!!!!! I couldn’t say enough about Dr.Denk and his office staff. First off, my results from surgery are phenomenal. I still can’t believe this is my body! I went from avoiding looking at myself in pictures and mirrors to loving myself again. After three repeat c sections, I was so self conscious of my “after babies” body. Dr. Denk has helped restore my confidence in myself and body again. During consultation and followup appointments, I never felt rushed or pushed through like a number. He always took his time and explained my options and what he thought would give me the best outcome! Secondly, I absolutely adore his staff. I can tell you right now if I walk into my primary care office, the front staff wouldn’t know me from Adam. Zoe is so friendly and always takes time to say hi and check on how things are going. Gabby always answered all my probably ridiculous questions and so prompt to get back to me if I had any concerns. I don’t know how she keeps up with everyone! And of course, all of the nursing staff in office (shout our Jennifer!) and his OR nurses are so sweet! I was so nervous going into surgery but Hannah was so calm and we talked about clothes/purses/my sons which took my mind off of the unknowns of surgery! Sorry such a long review, but from start to finish I’ve felt so taken care of. Having plastic surgery is definitely elective and of course not necessary, but it has changed so much how I feel about myself, my body, and for once this mom of 3 boys did something for herself! Dr.Denk and the entire staff made me feel like I was their only patient, from my consultation all the way through post op. Dr.Denk and nurse Jennifer made the consultation so comfortable and really listened to what I wanted my end results to be. I went into the appointment nervous and left excited. Once I made my decision to get Lipo 360 and a BBL, I made my pre op appointment. The office coordinator, Gabi, sat with me going over everything I needed before my surgery. I think she could tell how nervous I was because she took the time to stop all the paperwork and asked me if I had any questions. After a short hesitation she called Nurse Jennifer in and they both stopped everything they were doing to answer my questions and calm my nerves. Gabi finished my paperwork and still had Dr.Denk check on me before I left for any last minute questions. Gabi made herself available to me day or night week or weekend, and I definitely took advantage of it texting her questions I could have probably googled. Day of surgery I was overwhelmed with nerves but everyone I came in contact with starting with the front desk turned my mood all the way around. The nurse that took me back made sure I was comfortable and always had what I needed. I felt like I met the entire staff that day. The anesthesiologist came by to explain who he was and what his role in my surgery would be and assured me he’d be by my side the entire time. The surgical nurses were laughing and took my mind off of how scared I was. Then Dr.Denk comes over and before explaining anything reminds me of how excited I was in my consultation and that the recovery will be worth the reward. I walked into the surgery with a new found confidence. Dr. Denk called to check on my the night of my surgery! It’s like everyone in that office loves their job so much they are willing to be on call 24/7. At my first follow up appointment Dr. Denk and Nurse Jennifer explained every step of the healing process to me and what I don’t need to worry about as well as things to look out for. Jennifer was helping me back into my comprehension garment and half way through she had me sit down and pull my mask down, she noticed I was loosing color in my face and she just stood by me giving me water until my color came back (I got that way because I hadn’t eaten not bc of the garment haha).Now I’m a month post op and let me tell you I have never been so happy!! I wish I could post my before and after photos, I’m so impressed I want to make it my Christmas card. I had “hip dips” which is what I use to call “negative butt” before I found out there’s an actual term. Essentially my butt cheeks dipped in on the side and I had “love handles” that Dr. Denk explained only looked like “handles” because of the hip dip. He explained that by filling in those dips my body naturally had an hourglass shape. Before my surgery I thought he was trying to spare my feelings but afterwards I’m seeing how right he was. I’ve never had an issue with confidence but I am more confident now than ever before. I’ve always had very thin legs and never thought anything of it, Dr. Denk filled my thighs out to match my butt and my new shape is better than I ever imaged it would be. What they do in that operating room is art not surgery! If you are thinking about any type of plastic surgery you need to have a consultation with Dr. Denk, the experience you have at your consultation is exactly how you’ll be treated from start to finish.I almost forgot to mention that I have been under anesthesia probably 7 or so times and I’ve always woken up nauseous. This was the ONLY time I’ve ever woken up and not immediately needed a trash can! Let them know at your pre op if anesthesia makes you nauseous and they will prescribe a patch for you to put on day of surgery, also let the anesthesiologist know so they can use their medical school training to determine what to put in your IV. I wasn’t sure how to state that because I don’t know what magic they did to make it so I wasn’t wildly sick when I came out of surgery.

Going to this office was a waste of time. I wanted an upper eyelid surgery and they had me schedule a vision field exam with their preferred doctor. The exam was a joke I could tell they were trying to alter the test. One could say well that’s good because it’s in the client best interest, but the test wasn’t performed correctly. How do I know? I ended up going to Virginia Eye Consultants. Now back to Plastic Surgery Associates, my field test results was lost. I had to keep calling. Then my claim was denied and they said the doctor would call and speak with the insurance company. They never contacted me again and I was willing to pay out of pocket.Oh I then got a bill for an office visit. APS are scammers.

Life Changing! I saw Dr. Denk on recommendation of a friend. I was concerned about seeing a plastic surgeon and didnt know if Id feel judged. I should not have worried. Dr. Denk and his entire staff were warm, caring, and very knowledgeable and thorough. Dr. Denk listened to my history (Im a runner and a belly dancer and my mommy pouch was keeping me from doing all of these things and more.) and recommended abdominoplasty with liposuction. The procedure was smooth and well organized and recovery went as he said it would. The follow up care was great. 3 months after surgery I ran a half marathon and started dancing again. 6 months after surgery and I just got a personal record on a full marathon. I feel so much more confident and happy now and would trust Dr. Denk with any surgery! Thank you!!

I wanted to regain pre-baby shape, without adding a ton of additional volume. I ended up getting a circumareolar lift with 270cc Natrelle silicone implants. I am very happy with the results.Dr. Denk and his staff were amazing! Very friendly, well-informed and always helpful when I had questions. Dr. Denk was very interested in what I was looking for and asked me lots of questions to fully understand what I wanted to assure we were on the same page. He even gave me his cell phone number after my first consultation and encouraged me to call with any additional questions. Gabriela, his patient care coordinator, was alway outstanding. I would, and have already, recommended him to my friends.

I have been seeing Joyce Black for more than 20 years and she has never done any more than excellent work. She exemplifies professionalism, is extremely kind and very honest, and she is a master of her craft. At some point, I may choose to accept the aging process but until I do, I will continue seeing her and enjoying my time with her. Five stars anyway you look at it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Denk and his staff is nothing short of AMAZING!!! I had Lipo 360 with a BBL and he achieved everything I wanted and more. He is not only the best at what he does he’s also very informative and thorough. He answers all of your questions and you will never feel rushed. Nurse Jennifer and Nurse Phylis are heaven sent, as well as Gabby his scheduler. Even after surgery he makes himself available for any questions or follow up appointments. He truly cares for his patients and is the epitome of a Perfect Surgeon.
