Best experience ever!!! The captain was super nice an funny, he made us feel right at home!! Ricky Bobby was amazing! He knew what he was doing.. explained everything to us, he also was so good with my kids who are 9 an 12. My lil guy had some issues reeling in the fish… Ricky helped him every sec until he was comfortable doing it himself! These two guys are a great team I recommend them to everyone def 10 stars. Also we caught about 12 fish 11 blue ribbons an 1 Spanish Fish!

Truly wonderful experience. The original day we signed up ended up storming. They called and contacted us to set up a new time the day prior. The night before our new trip day they called to inform us that if we could make it in earlier we could beat the traffic and spend more time fishing. When we made it to the boat they went out of the way to take us to the one spot that had fish (we booked a trip at the very start of the season). After hard work from the captain navigating multiple boats and the first mate keeping three lines going nonstop we caught our max fishing limit. The way back in was full of good conversation and great laughs. Would recommend to everyone

Booked Capt Greg for an inshore trip and had a blast. We caught some red drum, some Spanish mackerel and some Cobia. The boat was clean and well maintained. I went out with Captain Greg on a charter with a few friends and it was the best trip I have had in my 40 years of fishing. We caught Tuna (a 65 lb one for me), Marlin, and Skipjack while trolling. Then he took us deep drop fishing and we caught sea bass and my first Tilefish both blue and gold. He put us over fish every drop it was amazing. He is a great Captain, and the boat was incredible. I will be going out with him for now on.

Trip of a lifetime! Captain Greg and Ricky were fantastic and made our trip an awesome memory. A five-star rating deserves more explanation, though. On our way from Pennsylvania to Virginia Beach, we received a call from Captain Greg. He informed us that the trip we booked -- middle shore -- was not fishing well at all. The waters were warm, the fish werent moving and the mahi mahi had not yet arrived. He encouraged us to upgrade our trip to deep water fishing. As you can imagine, this caused us some concern... making a call the day before our trip to upsell us with tales of poor fishing where we planned to go but stories of marlin and swordfish being caught in deeper water. Were we being rooked??We made the decision to go with Captain Gregs recommendation. After all, he is the professional and we hired him to put us on fish. The most skeptical of our group was decidedly unhappy with the decision, but my travel agent did her research and Captain Gregs reputation was stellar so we listend to him and upgraded the trip.Best. Decision. Ever. Within 15 minutes of putting our lines in the water we had a white marlin on the hook! It was not well set so after about 3 or 4 minutes (and a few impressive aerial turns) the fish spit the hook. But it sure got us jazzed! We trolled for hours with little action, but listening to the radio, no one was finding active fish. We saw a large (9 to 10) blue marlin sunning herself on the surface of the sea and that was really cool! Not long after that, the flat rod hit and hit hard! A blue marlin took the bait about 15 off the boat; jumped twice really close, ran at the boat and then took off... fast! She ran hard and took the reel way int the backing before she tired. Captain Greg was awesome in handling the boat and keeping us on the fish allowing us to work her back to the boat. Ricky, his mate, was an excellent coach encouraging and coaching us on how to keep the line tight, how to reel and most importantly what NOT to do that could cause us to lose the fish.We didnt lose the fish! We brought her to the boat, took some bad pictures (what do you expect from a bunch of guys) and then released her. She was all of 10 long and every bit of 500#! That was the first marlin any of us caught and it was an incredible experience. When we released the marlin, we did some drop fishing in about 300 of water and caught some good fish to put on the grill.This was a great trip, truly a trip of our lifetime! Captain Greg is a skilled captain and his reputation is well deserved. He made a tough call and we did the smart thing by listening. He put us on fish in some tough conditions. We highly recommend E-FishinSea and Captain Greg and are already planning our return trip!

Capt Greg and his 1st mate Ricky Bobby are the best. Had my cousin come visit for his birthday and we took him fishing. Every aspect of dealing with E-fishing was great.. from the initial contact and booking to getting our fish fillet. Tons of fun, lots of laughs and great fishing. Took us first to get some Spades, then some trolling for Spanish Mackerel and others. We caught over 30 fish, Spades, Mackerel, Red Drum and Ribbon. Couldnt have asked for a better trip. I will definitely be using him again.

This was my first time on a charter fishing trip to top it off it was a family trip. Captain Greg is very family friedly great with the kids, he let my oldest drive the boat for a bit. The boat was extremely clean comfortably bench seating. a/c was blowing ice cold which was great for my toddler to take a nap in the cabin. All and all it was a great experience we cant wait to do it again. Highly recommended..

We had a great time! We went out for my daughters birthday and could not have asked for a better trip. We caught a few different types of fish, but the highlight was the 10 Red Drum. Captain Greg and Ricky put us right on them and we were just reeling them in the boat. Really fun and professional guys too! I will definitely book with them again.

We chartered Captain Greg and we got hooked. His boat has air conditioning and a full bathroom which made it suitable for my elderly father. We had a great time fishing, put plenty of fish in the box, and will definitely be returning! I highly recommend him.

Had a great day on the water With Captain Greg and his mate Ricky. He put us on the fish right away and Caught plenty of nice sized Spanish Mackeral. He then worked hard for us to catch 3 really nice cobia. When we booked he told us he would work his hardest to get us on the fish and he certainly did!! Top notch fishing gear and a beautiful boat made for an excellent day. The crew made sure we knew what to do and when, we got everything out of the trip that we expected and more. Will book again!!!Side note, one of our party left a yeti cup on the boat and they made sure we got it back. It was much appreciated!!!

August 19, 2019We went on our fourth trip with Captain Greg. We have taken two half-day trips and two full-day trips with him. Each trip has been great. Captain Greg starts the trip telling us which fish are biting and how we will approach fishing that day. Our first trip we caught our limit of Cobia. The second trip we caught our limit of Spade fish. The third trip was for my grandson’s birthday. He loves fishing and his request was we catch a lot of fish. So after catching some king mackerel. We spent the rest of the trip catching Spanish mackerel. This fourth trip we caught ribbon fish and Spanish mackerel. It seems like the ribbon fish get a bum rap. We fried and grilled them when we got home. It was very good. I know we have been very lucky with our trips. But I believe Captain Greg knows what he is doing. I have tried two other charters and this is the best so far.Today my brothers and I chartered E-FishinSea for a half-day charter. We caught the limit for Atlantic Spade - four fishermen, 16 fish. We ended up with about 30 lbs of fish after they were cleaned. This is my second charter with Captain Greg. The first trip was during the Summer and we caught our limit of cobia. I realize not every trip cannot be as good as these. But I have used several charters in the three years that I lived in the Hampton Roads area. No one has been more professional and easy to work with than Captain Greg. He will work very hard to make sure you have a good experience fishing.

Capt Greg and Mate Austin were great! We went out for my friends birthday, and when he reeled in the first fish we found out he had NEVER fished before (at 43). So that made this trip even better. We caught some nice Spanish Mackerel and had a lot of fun. Capt Greg and Mate Austin were great, knew what they were doing, and made the trip that much better.Honestly, Im not a big fisher. But after this trip, Im saving up money to do a deep sea trip, its been something Ive always wanted to try (bucket list kinda thing). Capt Greg will be the man I call.

Captain Greg is the definition of professional. His operation is top notch. We had a great day on the water and will be back again soon. His vessel is immaculate, personality is second to none and don’t let me forget his knowledge of the area is outstanding. There was a lot of prep, studying water temp charts, wind and swell direction to give us the best chance at our targeted species. . Im giving Captain Greg 5 stars for his honesty. I tried to book a trip with him this upcoming week but he said he couldnt accept because the fishing season is not quite in swing yet and it would be a waste of money. Well we would have not known any better Thank you Greg for your honesty and we will try this summer instead

Captain Greg and First Mate Austin took us on a 2 hour trolling tour today, July 3rd. It was absolutely amazing! Captain Greg was great with my young kids, even letting them drive the boat but keeping them out of the way (and safe!) when it was necessary. Theyre only 5 & 8 so I appreciated his patience. We caught some yummy Spanish Mackerel and 3 HUGE Red Drums. We will definitely be calling him next time we visit!!

Took my son for the first time off shore fishing in September. We had a awesome time. My son caught a blue marlin. The captain and mate were great. They had extra bait, we stayed out long and caught lots of mahi. I highly recommend these guys. We cant wait to go again. My family and I were on vacation from Pittsburgh and looking for a fishing charter and weren’t sure who to book with. We wanted to check one off of our bucket list. After some searching and calling I had found E-Fishinsea. Captain Greg took the time and explained everything in detail and we felt comfortable booking with him. We left a deposit on Sunday for a Tuesday 1/2 day fishing trip. Everyone was excited however Mother Nature thought otherwise. The weather turned and the seas got worse and Captain Greg called us to let us know it just wouldn’t be an enjoyable trip for us when the seas are rocking the boat that much. He was very honest in explaining enjoy their first experience sea fishing instead of falling all over his boat. So he refunded our deposit and we were bummed. We had asked if he could point us in the direction of someone with a bigger boat able to withstand the bigger waves because this was the only day we could fish. We also had to worry about a babysitter for the day. Captain Greg sent us to the Fishing vessel Legacy and we had our trip. We’re going back to Virginia Beach next year and I’ll definitely be looking up Captain Greg, I appreciate his honesty.

This was our families second charter with Greg this time on the new boat. It was a dream and so comfortable and was well needed for our family of five. Greg continues to exceed our expectations. We look forward to coming back next year! We definitely got our moneys worth even in the slow season.

I recently chartered captain gregg weaver for a 4 hour inshore trip. It was an awesome trip. He has the top of the line fishing equipment and knows how to use it. The mate austin was professional and courteous and was very knowledgeable.

I have been around the world deep sea fishing, Gregs boat and experience is top notch. Greg put us on fish, was a great captain. he is very good at what he does and I would recommend him to anybody looking good to go inshore or offshore fishing.

My husband, our 3 boys (ages 7, 11, 13) and I went out yesterday for a 6hr inshore trip. The weather was amazing. When we got to the boat Capt Greg and 1st mate Ross were at the boat when we arrived and were so friendly. The boat was spacious and well taken care of. Once we boarded we went and caught some bait fish then headed out for the real fishing. We initially started for Ribbonfish. Within the first hour our lines were getting hit. Our 7 year old got to reel in the first line which had a 42 Cobia! Ross helped him with holding the pole and maneuvering it around while our son cranked the fish in. Shortly after landing the Cobia we got into some Ribbonfish. Throughout the day we ended up landing 5 Ribbonfish and 5 Cobia (only keeping the boat limit of 3, releasing the other 2). One of the 2 released was a 52 qualifying it as a citation fish in the state of Virginia. Capt Greg definitely put us on the fish!! Ross was amazing with helping the boys (and even myself) with maneuvering around and landing the fish. These guys are definitely on the fish, family friendly, and highly recommended!!! We will definitely be going back out when we are back down in VA Beach!! Thanks again Capt Greg and Ross for an amazing trip!!
