Easy to book, communication was EXCELLENT with HQ (monitoring weather leading up to trip date) & with Capt Keith & First Mate Max (during charter). We did the Shoreline 4 hr & was not disappointed. We caught mostly Ribbon Fish, which is apparently new to VB as of 3 yrs ago, and Red Mackerel. Im glad Max warned us the Ribbon Fish is not pretty but it IS good eating! 😎👍 They also fight well.The Flat Line was clean & comfy and the diesel engine PURRED so no worries of engine failure. Theres an AC cabin for some relief from the heat if you want/need. You bring your own food & drink, which we brought sandwiches, water & ginger ale, to combat dehydration & any possible nausea.All in all, a VERY pleasant & fun trip! Our party was from age 18 to 78 and I would say this charter would be appropriate for children, too. The first mate made sure we were comfy & really made the fishing easy. He works for tips so PLEASE make sure he gets paid for his troubles! He got his hands cut a few times unhooking the fish that were fighting.Would we book again? ABSOLUTELY! Amazing trip. 6 hours on the near shore trip and we reeled in over 35 ribbon fish (great fried), and 5 trigger fish (amazing grilled). We even caught some sea bass and an oyster toad. Tried for some shark but that day wasnt our lucky day. Each catch was a great experience. Captain Keith and his first mate Fisher were great the whole trip getting everything ready and getting us to the right spots.

Spent the day fishing with my dad and boys. Cant say enough good things about our captain and mate. They made the trip great and I would give them more stars than 5 and I highly recommend them for anyone looking to be put on the fish and have a great time making memories. We were able to catch sea bass, mackerel, ribbon fish, triggers and even a few sharks! I would definitely charter on the Smack Down with AquaMan Sport Fishing again!

We drove an hour to try and get some spadefish with this crew and the water was way to rough to even try anything except mackerel which is a fish we catch on our own all the time! Luckily for everyone, the waves turned us around completely. We have to reschedule our trip. Probably best that we did.The boat was nice. The crew seemed cool. Looking forward to changing this to a 5 star review at the end of July!

We absolutely LOVED our time with Aquaman. We did a 4 hour inshore trip, and Captain Luke and Fisher were fantastic. They were a ton of fun, and super helpful. They answered all of our questions and told us some of their own personal experiences as well. They also made the trip all about us. We got on a bunch of ribbonfish very early in our day, and once we caught our fill, they took us further out to get on some mackerel, so it never got monotonous. We went out on their new boat Smack Down, and it was very nice, very clean. My 7 year old son caught a big almost 5 lb Spanish mackerel and even got a citation for it, so that really did make his day. All he wants to do is go fishing now! Will absolutely be going again, and cant wait to do it!

Our first trip back in Oct 2020 had to be canceled due to bad weather. Captain Nolan rescheduled us for the beginning of Black Sea Bass season for 2021.We did the 12 hr offshore and had a great job. Luke and Fisher were very professional, knowledgeable and personable. They made sure we had a good time on the water and caught a bunch of fish.The boat was nice and ample room for my father, son and I. I will be scheduling another trip in the future. Wonderful trip at the beginning of June with Captain Cliff and “fishing guru” Kyle. Targeted spadefish which were extremely fun to catch, great fight, and delicious to eat as well. Limited out on the spadefish so got to do some trolling on the way in, picked up a few mackerel and Kyle managed to find a school of large red drum of which we managed to land two.Comfortable boat as well, great experience for our group. Highly recommend AquaMan Sport Fishing Charters, we’ll definitely be back if we’re in the area again.

Had an awesome time! Caught several large red drum as well as some mackerel and ribbon fish. Captain Luke did a great job of getting us to where the fish were biting and Fisher was very busy keeping the lines out and netting the big ones for us! Would love to do this again!!!

We did a 30+ mile offshore trolling trip with Aqua Man on a Saturday 9/11. The weather was fair which made the ride out and fishing easy on everyone. The trolling bite was slow landing only one Mahi and lost a NICE White Marlin shortly after the hook up. Captain Luke did a great job marking spots where he saw Sea Bass and Tile Fish on the bottom and after calling it quits on the trolling he took us back to drift over these spots and bottom fish 400+ feet down for these fish. We then started crushing them! Every line was going off in less than a minute on the bottom. We spent the last 1.5 hours loading the box with Sea Bass and Tile fish. I have never eaten Tile fish before but it is AWESOME! Special thanks to Captain Luke and Fisher for a job well done. The only negative thing I would say about the experience is that the boat that we were on I believed was named Smack Down and while it is very well built for fishing it is not built for speed. Our Cruising speed out was 20mph and I would have much preferred to have been on a boat that cruises at least 30mph. Overall a great experience however.

Went on the four hour “ along the beach” trip and not a minute was wasted after leaving the inlet. Jason put us on the fish the whole time and the mate Bill was highly attentive and great company. Plenty of mackerel to go around the table!

We had a great time this past Wednesday on the SmackDown. Had perfect weather for sight fishing bulls reds and cobia. Although we didnt get the cobia to commit, here are some pics of the red drum we caught. Luke and Fish were absolutely a great time and cant wait to book this again next year!

We loved our fishing trip!! Fisher is the absolute BEST!! We caught a ton of fish and really enjoyed our time fishing! It’s also very kid friendly, as took our 4 year old and he loved it! They even had a big bean bag chair for him to cuddle up in when he was worn out and needed to rest a bit! Highly recommend this!!

Best charter you can ask for wonderful staff great experience

Went out with Capt Chris and first mate Kyle on 6/25/21 trolling for tuna and mahi. The bite was slow for us and the other boats in the area. Had 2 yellowfin strikes but they managed to avoid getting hooked up. After landing a mahi the bite slowed down and it was decided the best course of action would be to deep drop for blueline tilefish. Chris had us on fish the second our bait reached the bottom, with everyone on the boat hooking up. 4 citation size bluelines were brought up at 10.5, 13.5, 16 and 18 pounds! Would recommend this charter to anyone!

We just got back from our Vacation in VA Beach and the one adventure none of us can stop talking about is our fishing trip!! I can not Express how much fun we had with these guys!! Not only was it a blast we caught over 20lbs of fish (after cleaned and filleted) we even caught a shark!! . The men were so fantastic with the kids as well, my son now wants to work on a charter, he is 11 and was literally teaching the adults how to fish. And he learned all of that from them!! We will definitely be booking another trip with them!! We can not recommend them enough!! Thanks for a great time!!!

Captain Chris and our mate Jack were phenomenal. Laid back, yet focused on putting us on the fish. They made everyone in our group feel welcome and took care of our entire crew. Back at the dock Nolan welcomed us back and made sure we had a great time. With a full load of fish and no energy to clean them all night long, they set us up with one of the best fish cleaners I’ve ever seen. 30 plus fish cleaned and bagged to perfection in an hour. This charter couldn’t have been any better! This is the best time I’ve ever had fishing on a charter boat. First class from booking to the second we headed back home.

We caught 50 fish which translated to 50 lbs. of dressed fish. Captain and crew worked hard to make sure we had a great time in a safe manner. I highly recommend these folks. I have taken numerous in-shore/deep sea trips and I can say we had a first rate ocean fishing experience.

We told our captain Keith what we were looking for and he delivered. Fisher,our first mate was on the ball from 4:30 am until we left the dock with our fish fileted and bagged. He baited every hook,took off every catch. Beautiful,relaxing day with periods of frenzied fishing. Perfect !

Captain Cliff and Max took my family out for a six hour trip, and it was an amazing time! Although the bite was slow starting off, they worked hard to get us on fish all while letting the smaller kids take part in the action and LEARN. Capt Chirs and mate Kyle were experts in making our offshore trip a huge success. Mate Kyle was proficient in his duties. From the beginning of setting up to the finale of the trip. His ease and speed of getting the fish off the hook and rebaiting our rods to get up back in the water was phenominal especially when we were all pulling up fish at the same time. Capt Chris was also instrumental in giving advice to all of us individually from his postion on the bridge. I have fished on charters all along the east coast from New England to Florida and this is one charter that ranks high among them. This will be my go to charter for Spring, Summer and Fall fishing trips. Also their pricing is very competitive.

Our charter was a 4 hour inshore trip on 10/9/20 for four adults. Captain was great getting back in touch with me setting up the trip and straight forward with expectations. Captain Nolan and first mate Bruce did a great job and worked hard trying to find the fish. Beautiful sunny day, started off a bit slow with only a couple of spanish mackerel. But then in the last hour we ran right into a school and finished strong with about 30 mackerel and 6 blues. Bruce cleaned them up for us as we were heading back into dock.Boat was in good shape, clean and comfortable (THE FLAT LINE).I would definitely recommend them and we hope to schedule another trip in the summer.

Beautiful evening on the water. We did the 4-8 pm cruise. Our mate Fisher worked non-stop to make sure everyone had a chance to hook a fish. We caught almost 30 ribbon fish and two Spanish Mackerel. Boat was very nice and comfortable. Definitely a memorable experience.

This was my first fishing charter and definitely not my last. We signed up for a 3/4 day inshore and had a blast hauling in ribbonfish. Captain Cliff was superb beginning with his phonecall the day prior to set expectations then to the day itself where he patiently and diligently maneuvered Flat Line to our fishing spots. Max was an excellent First Mate who was mostly by our side, manning the rods and lines, making sure our catch was safely brought on board. In addition to ribbonfish we caught a couple of Spanish mackerels and hoping for cobia but did not get any, Overall it was an awesome adventure and thank the crew for making this a memorable one!

I knew right away that we were in good hands! Captain Nolan and Mate Gunner did a great job of making everyone feel comfortable. They worked really hard to make sure we had a productive day in spite of the recent poor weather. Captain Nolan definitely knows the local waters and where to go to get the best results. He took the time to see what kind of an experience we were looking for and did a great job to make it happen. Mate Gunner although young and fairly new to the task did a great job as well, very professional and respectful. The boat was also a nice experience, giving plenty of room and seating in the shade which provided a nice occasional retreat from the sun. We will definitely book these guys again! We booked a 12 hour off-shore trip on Labor Day. The weather wasnt good and it was too rough to go off-shore. Captain Nolan stayed in communication with us as the weather situation evolved. He was able to work out a great trip that kept us out of the really heavy seas, but that gave us a shot at some very nice fish.Capt Howlin and First Mate Bruce did a wonderful job. They put us on fish all day. The Game On is a beautiful boat, very comfortable and the size helped with the rough water. In spite of the 6 foot swells, we had an absolute blast. 25 Spanish Mackerel, 3 nice Dolphin Fish, a couple Bonita, and a few Albacore later, we were some very happy fishermen. We had one hell of a fish fry that evening. We will definitely book with Aquaman again.

Great day fishing off shore. Very knowledgeable and friendly crew. Very sturdy ship with air conditioned cabin. We immediately felt right at home. The first mate made his job look easy even though theres no way it is. Caught more fish than we can ever eat.

Handled a special project flawlessly!

We went out with Dave and Clay for the 4 hour trip with a few kids (ages 5 through 9) and had a blast. Caught a lot of ribbonfish and one Spanish Mackerel. Clay taught us how to reset the lines and we must have run through a school because we were hooking them like crazy. Next time we will do the longer trip further out, but this was a good choice with smaller kids for sure.

Easily the best trip I’ve ever had. Capt Dave and his First Mate Sean were the best crew. They knew exactly what we were looking for and delivered. Got a couple of great fish to put on the wall. My 11 year old had the time of his life and is looking forward to booking again in august.The Weather forced us to re-book and the team at Aquaman we’re able to meet our schedule with ease. We have definitely found a go-to charter for our twice a year trips.

To start we had to cancel due to weather, they promised they would find a way to get us out and they did in a big way. Captain Chris and first mate Kyle were really friendly and got us on some Ribbon fish quickly. The highlight was when thier network of boats tipped them off to some Red Drum schools. We landed 8 of 10 hooked and it was by far the best charter I was ever part of. Great equipment, awesome boats. Will not book with anyone else next time I visit.

We had a great time. The shipmate and Captain were very knowledgeable and had great stories and remained positive and informative. We took the Game On. Caught about 12 Spanish Mackeral, a few Blues and 5 sharks (3 of which we kept). The ship mate fileted everything for us and made us fresh Spanish Mackeral sashimi there on the boat which was awesome and tasted great. He also kept everything sanitary, constantly spraying everything down with a bleach and fresh water mixture. Would definitely recommend this and be sure to tip the Captain and the mate. I had got a bite from a shark. The captain was on the flying bridge and was watching. I was reeling in too fast and he told me to slow down. As soon as I did, I watched the shark take a second swipe and hooked em. Brought the shark in and had it for supper. Cant wait to come back! Best birthday Ive had in a long time!

Bought a 6 hour fishing trip for my husband for Fathers Day for our July vacation. We had Captain Keith and First Mate Fisher. Both were absolutely wonderful. The boat was well kept and both gentleman knew their stuff! We had a rough day of fishing, but Captain Keith made sure we did not come home disappointed, he took us to all good fishing spots. Fisher was absolutely wonderful with our daughters and kept them laughing during the trip when we were waiting for the fish to bite! Thanks guys and we will definitely be back on our next beach vacation.

Went fishing with Captain Dave and his first mate Sean. I’ve been fishing and hunting all over the nation and world. I have to say this is the best crew by far I have ever gotten. My nephew said if he could give them a trillion stars he would. Book these guys and they won’t disappoint. I wanted one fish to put on the wall, ended up with two to put on the wall, a huge spade and huge cobia. Again these guys don’t disappoint. We live in Georgia and will be back later in the season for sure if that says enough.

We had a great time fishing with AquaMan Charters! We had 12 members of our family out fishing and Captain Keith and Max took great care of us, taking us out to the Chesapeake light platform where we caught lots of spade fish and had lots of fun. Dave and Dylan were two of the best first mate and captains Ive ever fished with. We had a party of 6 with 3 children and they did everything in their power to get us on fish. Aquaman sport fishing is top of the line.

We had a great time on our fishing trip with Captain Dave and First Mate Sean. They were great with the kids, showing them how everything is done. We all had a blast. The fishing was good, too!

We went in August and got the 4 hour fishing trip. They warned us that the waves would be choppy but we went anyway and still had a great time. First mate Brandon did everything he could to improve our chances of catching fish. We caught enough fish for a meal ot two. I ighly recommend them if you want to charter a boat.

We had a great time on this charter for the most part. The boat was a perfect size for 4 of us. The mate was a great guy and the captain just was pushy when we caught fish. He was telling us hurry, hurry, hurry realing in the fish. He needs to relax some because we arent working for him, hes working for us. This made the trip uncomfortable at times. The mate was on point hooking into 2 Cobias for us after searching all morning. We caught one at 32lbs and another at 24lbs which were the highlights of the trip. The boat was pretty clean and comfortable. The air conditioner felt great once the sun broke through the clouds. It was hard to see in the bathroom and would recommend getting lights to work. Overall I would book them again with a different captain. Reason for only 4 stars is because I believe there is always room for improvement in any company.

So if you looking for a boat that will hook the fish pull it to the boat and hand you the reel these are your guys. Then you can spend the rest of the trip 200 feet from the beach catching blue fish. What a waste of money. My fault really should have done more homework. You only get me once. Next year I’ll go with someone else for sure. Mate was on point!

Chris and Luke put us on the mahi - was awesome bailing fish, and then hooked a shark that came over to check the action out! Very relaxing and fun, they know their stuff!

My family and I were able to book our charter for the very next day. Booking only took about 5 minutes. We did a 4 hour along the beach trolling trip. My dads first time on the ocean and Captain Dave Jamison and first mate Clay were more than accommodating. Clay showed all of us exactly how to reset the lines after catching a fish so we could just continuously keep the lures in the water and not need to wait for him to jump back and forth. The boat was amazing and the captain made it feel like we were floating on air. The captain also kept us right in the fish pretty much the entire trip. I would most definitely recommend this charter company to anyone. Will also use them in the future.

Awesome afternoon trip. Captain Chris and Luke were the perfect mix of friendly and professional. We caught probably 30-40 ribbon fish which was a great time for all of us, from 11 years old to adults. Multiple times Chris and Luke presented options for us to mix things up so after about two hours we decided to go out further and try for some bigger fish. Our 17 year old created a memory for a lifetime feeling in a 20-25 pound King Mackerel!I can’t say enough about the cleanliness of the boat, the professionalism, experience and knowledge of the crew and the great day it created for us. We will be back!

I went out there with a bunch of friends and family and had the best time ever! We caught 13 giant 4ft ribbon fish and even bigger than that. Everyone had foreign reeling in the fish and everybody caught a fish. It truly was an enjoyable experience the captain and the first mate were a lot of fun and we could bring our own cooler with beer and we were able to snack and the captains cabin was air-conditioned and had a couch for my kid to sleep on. It was really accommodating and fun will return

Did a makeup trip with Captain Dave and Luke on Flat Line. It was an Awesome trip. Both of them explained how to catch Spade fish in detail and we limited out quickly. One of the guest on board got a citation for his catch. This crew knows what they are doing. Once we limited out, we trolled for Blues and Mackerel and was able to get a few onboard. Luke even offered to clean fish at the pier because the normal person was unavailable. Great experience from beginning to end. Strongly recommend.

The instruction Clay provided was exactly what we needed to get started and then we were able to sit back and relax and reel in the fish!

We went fishing with Nolan in December out of Reedville. It is probably the tenth time we have been over the last seven to eight years. As always, we had a great time and caught fish. Nolan and his crew are always professional and let you participate in the experience at your skill level. That allows novice people to fish alongside more experienced people seamlessly.I am excited about this spring and going offshore again.

On July 17 2019 we took the FLAT LINE out on a 4 hour charter out of Va Beach and ended up catching almost 20 fish--a mix of Spanish Mackerel and Ribbon Fish. The boat was very clean and the staff was extremely professional--Captain Dave and Mate Clay were great. Highly recommend!!

Had a great time, Captain Dave and Mate Clay were very nice and courteous. Clay was awesome with the 3 kids we had onboard he answered every question the kids had. The fishing wasnt the best but kids caught a few. We caught a 250 pound 7.5 ft long sand tiger shark which was by far the highlight of the trip. All in all a great trip and a lot of fun will definitely be doing it again!!!!!

On June 9 2021 Our party of 7 went on the 3/4 day trip to spade fish. We caught our limit . Captain Chris & Mate were awesome. we have booked many trips with Aquaman Sport Fishing in the past. We got our monies worth and always do. we will be back again this fall. Great roomy and clean boat A/C was nice and cool. GREAT COMMUNICATORS. Dont waste your money on other charters who wont give you full effort and will not explain what they are doing (been there and done that!)

We fished with Nolan on the Flat Line this week and it was incredible. This guy has some kind of crazy sixth sense of where to find the fish and takes you right to them!The crew makes it easy for even an occasional fisherman to have a great time without any stress or worries. The boat is great - plenty of room and a comfortable ride.If youre looking for a great time fishing, look no further!
