There isn’t nothing like a good cut, however this cut was superb from the precision and detail in the fade to the razor line finish. Prices are the best in town certainly worth it. I will be returning very very soon.

Rick was good people called him up made an appointment and got what I went for. Went on vacation without a cut and decided to lookup a spot down in VB ..Glad I went to him definitely be back if down in the area again.

I found Rick through a friends recommendation for our 8 year old little boy. Our little man loves haircuts and ever since our first haircut he raves about Mr. Rick. He gets so excited for his fresh cut and to chat with our favorite barber. I highly recommend. We had been going to Great Clips and constantly having to fix issues, not with Cutz by Rick. Highly recommend going to Ricks for a haircut where you can have the barbershop experience in a 1 on 1 setting. I have been going to Ricks for about half a year now and he has become my go-to barber. Rick is as talented as a barber as he is a conversationalist and I always leave with a great haircut. The things I like most about this barbershop is the professionalism, cleanliness, and the atmosphere. Not to mention how easy it is to set up appointments, he is available almost any time of the day and week. 5/5 stars.

After being stationed in VB for school I knew I had to quickly find a new barber. Usually as African Americans in the military there are a few referrals of where to go, but I didn’t have that luxury or the time. So I did a quick google search for black barber and Rick’s business immediately popped up. I’ll never forget my first experience getting a cut. He was patient and listened to exactly what I wanted and I walked out very pleased. Rick is a great conversationalist too despite other reviews I read. It helped knowing he also grew up in The Bottom. I haven’t been to another barber since moving to the area. On numerous occasions I have appreciated his flexibility when my rigid and unpredictable schedule. Being able to book online offers another layer of flexibility. I’ve never gotten out of Rick’s chair disappointed with my cut. As a result I had to pay it forward and share my experiences with my fellow service members. Of course many were already using Rick as their barber. Thank you Rick for being a professional!

My regular barber was still shut down due to the pandemic and I REALLY needed a haircut. I asked my Google Home Mini if there were any barbers open in the area. Google guided me to Cutz by Rick and I cannot be more pleased with the great haircut I got. My wife is always criticizing the haircuts I get, but she was VERY pleased with the job that Rick did and said that it was the best I had ever come home with.Thanks, Rick ... you may become my go-to barber from now on ....

My hair was cut entirely to low when I asked to stop he said he been cutting hair for a long time and he knew what he was doing my haircut was rushed and pushed back I have only a chinstrap and a little chin hair he spent more time on my facial hair than my whole haircut he’s a cool dude but definitely worse experience for my bday haircut

Trust me when I say Rick is very professional and is very detailed when he gives you a haircut. I went to him almost 3 weeks ago. When I say my Edge Up is still on point it is crazy.. Mannnnnnn this is prob one of the top line ups i have had in the 757 area. I am here right now and i am very happy with the cut. He got my waves looking decent and my line up is sharp. Yea of course customer service is good and you can pay with card here but back to the cut. I love my cut. I will be back again. Yes this in his house so when you arrive walk to the left side of the house (your left not houses left) to find the entrance. There is no pathway leading to the door so i was confused at first but all of that was worth it. My cut is nice and even and the line up is sharp. The price is reasonably priced also so you will pay the same you will at mist placed in va but i dont think you can get as good as a haircut. Ill be back!

Stopped by to get an edge up, Rick has skills and is wayyyyyyy better than your average barber! Rick always has a seat ready for me and I am in and out with a fresher hair cut than I use to get from the hair cuttery around the corner.
