Tyler hooked 2 of my boys up!! Younger one even fell asleep while he was getting a cut. He was very gentle and did well with a wiggly 3 year old. Older one loves going to him.Jess cut for another one and killed it as well. 2nd time with her.Love this shop!!

This used to be a good barber shop, after letting a couple people go seems like it’s lost it’s touch. The barber Felipe is extremely unprofessional asked to change my appointment 3 times via text in which I accepted, but due to traffic I was 8 minutes late (not an exaggeration) once I arrived he stated he wouldn’t cut my hair since I was more than 5 minutes late even while still dealing with another patron, when my original appointment wasn’t scheduled for another hour in which he changed. I will not be coming back here, If you continue to come here do not expect any kind of compassion or understanding.

My son was so scared to get his haircut. Till i took him here. They were so nice and made him feel so comfortable. Thanks to them my son is no longer afraid to get his haircut. My son loves this shop and is not afraid to ask me for a haircut when his hair gets to long. Thank you Top Hats for making my son haircut experience the best. You have a customers for life.

Went to get my boyfriend’s haircut for his upcoming birthday. Barber was not professional. We were on a strict time limit with the day and the barber decided being on his phone was more important. Not professional, don’t recommend.*update*They missed a spot on my boyfriends head. Came back in day after to fix it up. The blonde lady sitting on her phone in the front was very unprofessional. Still did the job but very reliant to fixing up her coworker’s mistake.

It was a good vintage atmosphere. Had to wait for about 35 minutes. But thats what I was told the wait time was. Will definitely keep coming back.

This is the second time I’ve tried to book an appointment. The first time I was never put on the schedule when I called in.Earlier this week I made an appointment for today 3/27/2021 at 10:30 am.Last night I received a text from Tiffany that she would not be in and I needed to cancel or reschedule.I was told I would be rescheduled for 12:10 later the same day.I arrived early at 11:50 to check in and was told I was not in the schedule- again. And that I would have to wait for almost two hours to get a haircut.This is ridiculous and I’m tired of wasting my time. They may be voted best in the desert, but I wouldn’t agree. The customer service is atrocious.

Asked for a simple haircut and they cut all my hair off and instead cut my hair off til I was almost bald. I’ve never had a good experience with this shop, go somewhere worth the money.

Very clean facility. My daughter really enjoyed her new haircut. I watched a very young child come in for his first haircut. I was super impressed. His hair was cut with patienceand it looked really good. They seem to be pretty good with the youngins. I saw another gentleman get a really nice fade and beard trim. His haircut and shave looked really good. From what I saw, I recommend trying this place. Staff was really friendly.

Im not from the area, but only like to go to barbershop that are traditional... and wow ! This place from the time I entered till the time I left.. really super cool . Sara gave me the BEST FADE AND SHAVE that I have in all the traditional style barbershop I have went to in my adult years. And the fact that she was doing it was really cool to me in alot of ways . She has serious skill; and Im sure all the ladies and guys in there do as well . I highly recommend this place . And if i could afford to catch a flight every time i needed a hair cut i would come here and sit with everyone. Thank you everyone . The experience was amazing .

Im new to the high desert so I really focused on finding a great place to get my haircut and Im so glad I found it here. I had a bad haircut somewhere else and I went to top hat and they fixed my hair and left me speechless. The barbers there really know what they are doing. Everyone is so experienced. I can literally go there and get my haircut by anyone because I trust them.

Great barber shop. i would highly recommend getting an appointment using the online booking on their website because the wait is sometimes long if you just waltz in. my go to barber is Leo however ive been trimmed up by other barbers here and never been disappointed

I had such a great experience, took my Son for his First cut, and Leo was very patient with my 2 year old. Which I know its hard to keep a 2 year old still. I have been going to Top Hats for couple months to haircut and beard trim. Great staff and a friendly environment. I always get my hair cut by Tray. If you’re looking for a long term barbershop, Top Hats is the way to go.

Everyone that left the shop left with bomb haircuts. I would recommend appointment because of how popular they are and get a little packed, but the wait was worth it. they are all very friendly especially the girl who greets customers. Horrible. Barbers are horrible. Got a haircut today and this guy is digging it deep into my scalp. It was pulling on my hair hard. He wasnt gentle. I had asked for a comb over. I started to get very skeptical that he was actually doing what i asked for. I asked him to comb over my hair and he said that he couldnt change the cut because it was a waste of his time. He had said it with an attitude.I would never come back here employees are rude had a bad experience dont come here

Walked in for the first time ever. Wanted a total shave and a haircut. It had been awhile. I hag shaggy eye brows, overgrown beard, moustache and hair. Was immediately seated in barber chair and met Jessica who did an absolutely fantastic job. No nicks, no cuts, no scrapes. A gentle and steady hand on the razor, enjoyable personality and great barber skills to boot. Jessica will be my go to barber as long as she works there. I am a retired long haul trucker and have had razor shaves all across the country, Jessica by far provided the best service at a price. Like everything else in life, its all about the timing. Tuesday midafternoon and the stars aligned today.

Even WORSE if you you do not know any of the barbers personally.-Appointments are meaningless.-They actively use their phones while working on you.-They reserve the right to skip your turn, or give it to anyone else.-They are SloOoOoOooOoow and they enjoy it like that.-Owner and Manager are rude and do not take complaints well. Basically insinuating that if I do not like it then do not come back. (Easily Done.)-The Barbers and Even the Manager forget it is a JOB, not a social club.Conclusion: I am all for small business and supporting local 100%, but that does not mean that local can act however they want, acting too cool for school with their customers and potential future customers. There are PLENTY of other local, family owned Barbers in the High Desert that I would GLADLY give my business to rather than here. This barber shop is awesome! The decor is cool and masculine. Plenty of seats in the sitting area, very clean, and good product display for hair care as well as for beards and moustache products. We took our sons here to get their haircuts for the first day of school. The barber they got was friendly, and delivered great haircuts.

Today our son had his first haircut! We scheduled an appointment with Scot! He was extremely Patient with our very upset one year old! Even tho he moved all over he hair still looked Fantastic! We will be back again for sure!

I have never loved any barber shops in the high desert always went down the hill to cut my hair yesterday was my very first time trying this barber shop thought I would give it a try I showed up maybe 40 minutes before closing and they took me in next time I’ll book an appointment and I was surprised at how the environment was and how well my haircut was the barbers were very friendly I cut my hair and cleaned up my beard and I was happy they way they did it I would recommend this barber shop to everyone and anyone this was my first time and will not be my last they will have me as a customer for as long as they are there for!

Always professional, always so nice, always come out looking fresh and feeling great. Never liked the idea of paying more than $15 a haircut but you get what you pay for and the price is right for the quality of service

Yeah my hair looked nice when it was done but it wasnt what I asked for, I guess I need to be more specific next time ... And most barbers or anybody that cuts your hair for that matter will turn you around and show you your hair as the haircut progresses, asking if its okay or not. Not once did I get asked, I basically got a look at the end and got this is what ya get basically ... $21 for something I didnt ask for

Used to love coming here despite the fact that they were slow and talked a lot to each other rather than the customers. Now it’s worse. Appointment system is a joke, you still wait a while because they’re slow at cutting hair. Which you’d say “Oh good they take their time cutting it so they do a good job”. Nope. It’s because they’re too busy checking their phones and gossiping. They still mess up. I went today because my sons desperately needed a haircut. And is one a the few barber shops open on a Sunday. I spent 40 minutes waiting to see who would be called. There were about 3 barbers doing literally nothing. The blonde skinny girl was “sweeping” the floor. Couldn’t even bother to greet customers. Linda at least did that. A guy was asking what the wait time is she said he was next. But he was angry because we all heard her tell a different barber that a guy had came in wrote a bunch of names down and left. So he said maybe I should come in a write my name and leave every morning. She stood around the entire time that I was there “sweeping” and staring at the tablet and her phone. I understand if there’s appointments, however the time she (and the other barbers) spent just standing there, is time she could’ve spent helping a customer that IS there. Never coming here again. Hire workers with good work ethic and customer service!!

Very good experience ! The lady did an amazing job on my sons hair. Forgot her name but she has glasses,tattoos on the right arm,and lip piercings on the right side. She was SUPER friendly and interacted with my son and me. She did my hair after and I loved it ! I hardly cut my hair becuase when I do the person always cuts my hair wrong but she did a awesome job ! Differently will be coming back :D

Went in there for the first time today with my husband. He had an appointment at 2, we walked in 15 minutes early and his lady barber was available so she took him right away, we were done by 2. Highly recommend to book your appointment as they accept walk-ins but theyre very busy and you will be waiting for a long time.
