I love this Crunch! Im a native Californian but ended up on the East Coast during the pandemic and joining this gym since then has done a lot for my well-being and fitness!I come here practically every day and both the early morning and evening staff are always friendly and helpful. The gym is kept clean, the music is at a good volume, and machines that are out of order are attended to pretty quickly.There are also plenty of events like member appreciation nights or other fun themes where different vendors have samples of things, so something exciting is always going on.Beyond my rugby background, Im also a runner so I love collecting shirts to exercise in or just to have since Im rather sentimental as well. One of my favorite things is how there is no shortage of new Crunch shirt colors and designs that keep the gym experience fresh and rewarding!Im happy to represent Crunch with their shirts outside of the gym because theyre so cool. I had gotten one of my friends to join too, so I definitely recommend this location.I especially would like to thank Frank and Sha, who were very welcoming from the beginning and are great examples of awesome management and staff. They consistently make me feel like a highly appreciated member!

I love crunch fitness. I have been coming here for over 5 years and I can’t imagine leaving! They staff is incredibly friendly and the gym is the perfect size with everything you could ever need. Truly recommend!

I am enjoying Crunch Fitness very much. I have always felt safe since they opened. The staff is helpful and friendly. I like it better than when it was Platinum. Sha, Debbie and Diane are always upbeat. Working with my trainer, Alison has been great.

Ive had same issue with shady billing. My husband went into Platinum fitness back in March 2020 to have membership put on a medical hold (he has health issues that put him at higher risk). Then last Oct when we realized that Crunch was billing us without any notice, I called immediately and got a lot of attitude and no promise to cancel unless he came live to sign something. He couldnt because of pandemic, so I called bank to dispute bills and even had debit card number changed. Somehow they got new number! And continued charging. Just now, I called back for fourth time to try to have cancelled again. They told me that the account couldnt be cancelled until we paid the late fees! After 6 months of fighting this, and hundreds of dollars paying for a membership not able to use and never signed up for, they swindled another 100 out of me to finally put us out of our misery. And, still waiting, hoping to get that cancellation email... please, please think twice about doing business with a company that would be this dishonest. I understand businesses are suffering, but that business model is not right.

Been going here for years. Staff has always been friendly and very helpful. The gym has everything you need. Very clean, lots of protein shakes, and a sauna. I don’t plan on switching gyms till I move! Keep up the good work!

Since this place became a Crunch Fitness, it is more friendly and they have lots of free weights to choose from. The membership fee is affordable! the gym is clean! A great place to workout with friends !!!!

Love working out here!! Theres so many different machines, especially the hip thrust machine that I havent seen anywhere else!!! Definitely recommend!

While this gym has a decent physical lay out and while I did manage to find a good personal trainer there, I must leave a generous one star review because the manager engages in highly unethical business practices. A man going by the name of Sha has debited my credit card in excess of $800 for services I do not want and, when called to task, refuses to justify the charges in any coherent way. In these days of higher than usual stress, the last thing any of need is to engage with thieves -- persons lacking ANY moral compass -- while we try to practice our own self-care. LOOK ELSEWHERE, i must say!

Crunch, located in Verona, New Jersey, is a great facility. I always enjoy my time there and the staff are very nice and welcoming. I decently recommend anyone to come!

The facility is a very nice and an enjoyable environment. Plenty of friendly people and the staff is friendly as well. I would recommend this gym to anyone.

I had been going here for the past 5+ years and it used to be an awesome gym but they stopped cleaning the place. The men’s locker room hasn’t been cleaned in months and the equipment spray cleaner is usually empty. Staff is always friendly.

Crunch Fitness, more like Crunch your wallet. I was very pleased with this location when it was platinum fitness but since it has been taken over I seem to be getting nothing but poor customer service. Due to an unrelated automobile accident I had three herniated disc‘s repaired which unfortunately have hindered me from being able to re-enter into the gym life. I have reached out to this location numerous times to keep my act my account active but have it frozen until I get cleared medically to go back in. Every employee gives you a different scenario of what needs to happen and every single time my account gets unfrozen I get charged for something I’m not using. When this occurs depending upon who you speak to you’re told that you will either get credited or you will be refunded; yet today I’m being told that none of those two options are actually valid and I was asked who I spoke to. Unfortunately at this point in time I have to wait for a manager to reach back to me to see if they will rectify all these errors and hopefully they do but until then I must recommend that people be weary if they choose to use this location for their gym needs.

I love this place, really clean and the machines are really organized and the staff and gym members are really nice but some more free benches and barebell mats would be great! Otherwise would def recommend others to sign up!

This place was better when use to be platinum fitness i cancel my membership whit new gym they keep charging $$ to my credit card and when I call them for refund they can’t refund the year fee like I’m the one who make the mistake never received a notification about the new owners of this gym they never ask if I want to keep my membership whit the new gym they just take over my membership communication is very poor here

Ok. Staff is nice. Good variety of equipment, mix of old and new. Could be cleaner. Cleaning stations are often empty. Gets really busy after work so I like to go early morning.

Super sketchy billing practices. They bought the site from Platinum fitness, then reopened and just started charging all the former members! During the pandemic, without even notifying people. I had no idea these folks even had access to my billing information until they used it.I LOVED Platinum, and Id almost certainly have joined Crunch, if they asked rather than just taking my money. Now, no way.

This is the sleaziest manipulation of a business I have ever witnessed. Unfortunately, they have taken over a hometown gym with no care for the community at all. They have a scam of charging passed clients with no evidence of contracts signed. They don’t answer phone call, they try and swindle business by claiming to remove false debt by getting someone to sign up. Your “quick win” will ultimately be your biggest loss. For someone who wants community businesses to succeed it is painful to say without ever stepping foot in this gym, STAY AWAY so this fraud does not happen to you.

The manager is rude, condescending and arrogant. He thinks he is better than everyone. The cleaning staff creates safety hazards and harass you. The place is small and always crowded and the members are rude and entitled. The front desk people are generally friendly but busy. Again, the cleaning staff are the most petty, spiteful and unprofessional people I ever come into contact with.

Showers lacking soap for a few days never saw that at a Crunch before & had to search for paper towels with only disinfectant nearby to sanitize the bench small things in a great club experience overall had my own soap & did find paper towels at the desk very friendly & helpful staff i like it there a lot

Was just charged a membership for this place, while never signing up. When called they said they transferred over old NYSC members. I cancelled with NYSC over a year ago for similar shady business practices.When I called, they gave me the whole run-around (again, another NYSC special). I spoke to two different people who then gave me the email for the managers email. Why they couldnt just cancel there, I dont know. But if you have had similar things happen to you, block them through your bank.Charging people for business not requested is a HORRIBLE way to do business.

Buying the information of all the angriest customers from NYSC seems like a bad business practice, but what do I know? This franchise has given the Crunch Fitness reputation a terrible bruise.
