I received my first set of dipped nails at Nail Clips earlier this week. It was located in the same mall as the Safeway where I shopped, so I just walked in to see if they had an opening, and they did. The manicurist was extremely courteous and eager to please. He listened to my requests intently and performed his work with the utmost patience, taking care to be gentle and perfecting every detail of the procedure. It truly was a whole new experience for me in the most pleasant sense. Finally, when I paid him for his service, he offered me a discount for using cash. Another observation worth mentioning: While I cannot speak for the quality of other services here, I witnessed two gentlemen who seemed quite satisfied with the pedicures they received. I will certainly frequent this business as well as recommend it to others.

Very lovely people working. I’ve been coming to this nail salon since I’ve been 5 years old, I’m 20 now. They value their work and always kind. Great prices too! I’ve been to a lot of nail salons all around the camas and Vancouver area, and they don’t compare to nail clips. When I come here for anything like waxing and nails I am always happy about the results and never disappointed.

I love my nails, I got acrylics for the first time and they are good. I just think that they couldve been more put on, if that makes sense.

I have been coming here for over 10 years and have alwayd been satisfied. I bring all of my out of town guest knowing we will get good service. I tell all my friends to give it a try. Its good to know you can put your faith into a service and have it be consistent every time.

Got my my nails done by the male tech and Im beyond happy! I got them done on May 14th and as its May 30th now my nails are completely intact!I got some short extensions so that I could get some more length on my nails and I work a labor intensive job. Im really surprised at how well they have kept up.Only down fall is the top coat that I believe was gel, peeled off very fast and during the service one of the female techs came over to help, and ended up buffing off some of the dip powder on my thumb.Overall it was a great experience and he did a fantastic job during my pedicure and manicure.

Even though I showed up 15 minutes early to my appointment, they were pleased to have me. Vee did my nails and she did a great job, probably one of the best manicures I’ve gotten. She also is really good at hand massages which was a nice treat!

I made an appointment for my grandmother who has been wanting to get her nails done. They were great and helpful. She has mobility issues and hearing issues but they were patient and gentle with her. They had two people working on her at the same time to shorten her visit, especially when they found out I would be waiting for her to finish her nail services. Clean and timely! I recommend. I will be back to get my own nails done as well.

My daughter has fragile nails that can’t grow long. We went here on a referral from my niece who LOVES this shop. The work was perfect, the tech was gentle and they remembered that we stopped in a few days prior and left because we didn’t have time to wait for a chair. Every person greeted us, the vibe is mellow and everyone is kind. Her nails turned out PERFECT. We have our new nail spot and couldn’t be happier

I am extremely impressed by how fast and efficient my nail salon is. Had an appointment and got called first when another did not show up. I got a full-set and with how fast the person was going I thought for sure theyd mess up. To my surprise my nails were perfect. I recommend this nail salon with a full 5 stars.

This was my first time visiting your salon and I was very impressed with how friendly everyone was. The girl that gave me my pedicure was extremely thorough and gentle . My manicurist was excellent. My daughter also had a great manicure. All and all I will be returning for my next manicure.

I be tried this salon because It was nearest my location. It was very well kept and the employees were kind. The owner of this salon happened to do my pedi and he was wonderful. This shop is small, with good quality, up -to- date chairs/ basins. Average selection of paints/ gels. I was thrilled with my $30 pedicure! I have only had manicures until today so this was a pleasant service to receive. I would like to suggest giving Nail Clips a try. I dont want to see this business have to close shop! With covid-19, all small businesses need local support! This is a great place for basic services at a decent price. Thanks for considering my opinion.

Clean and friendly.Everyone here is kind and seems to enjoy being there. The massage with a manicure or pedicure is very relaxing and they dont skimp on time! They do what you ask for shape, color, etc. and are happy to give advice when needed. The waxing service was also good; I had my brows done and they are nicely shaped.Great place to go.

Worst nail experience since I was a teen! I asked the lady about dip powder and she acted like she knew what she was doing but as soon as she started (delayed by lengthy conversations with co workers, probably about what to do), she started and I questioned her process as I have been doing this style for a long time she tried to assure me it was correct. I knew it was wrong! I walked out of salon, with unfinished nails (she used wrong polish to finish) and told me to come back if something was wrong.. I will assure you I will never return! I paid for the service but did not tip as she argued with me The Whole time, used wrong product and process and did a bad job of “winging it”. If you can’t do the service please just say I don’t know how rather then proceeding and screwing it all up. Nails came off after a week and a total waste of $40! Too bad there isn’t a negative star!!

I went in for a mani/peti. My toe nails look good. My fingernails were naurally long and i wanted to keep them long. And i told the lady twice. She said ok and clipped them short anyway.i was very upset. When they grow back i will go somewhere else and get them filed and polished. They grow pretty fast

I have been going here since 2006. They have always been friendly, they have made improvements over the years and were very supportive of my wedding party when we all came and got our nails done, they even were able to customize my nail to say I DO on my ring finger. I recommend them to everyone I know.

This is the second time I’ve tried this place. First time I hated my nails, they were sloppy and not filed enough near the cuticles so they looked bumpy and thick. Thought I’d give them another try, maybe they had a off day. Same lady didy nails, again not filed enough and they were too thick with a big bump near the cuticles. This time she cut my finger pretty bad with the file, I had to ask for a tissue and take the superglue myself to close up the cut because it was bad enough to need it. After the polish was on (which was done very sloppy as well) they looked like they were press on nails. I brought it to their attention that I was not happy, showed them what needed to be fixed, they only responded with, “I can’t file them anymore “ “she been doing nails for 16 years” and “that’s how they are supposed to look when they are long” No, I’ve worn my nails long for 20 years and I’ve never had them look like this. She just kept painting and ignoring me when I told her I want them fixed. She got up moved to another table to start o another customer nails and left me sitting there with wet nails, no help, no thank you or goodbye. A man finally said I’ll spray your nails so you can leave, and sorry for the inconvenience. Not a place I’d recommend.

Sad I schedules for my daughter-in-laws bridal party asked a two weeks ahead of time if we could get pedicures for six and have lunch and he said yes they would have a table and we could have lunch ( I was going to bring) and then after that we could have manicures. They tried to rush us through overbooked and the nail jobs that a few of us had were poor several peoples nails broke within a day or two others it was chipping. Ive been here several times over the past five years and it was always nice this time they fell a little short by overbooking I believe.

There is a new girl I havent tried yet, so cant comment on her, but LYNN is amazing with in grown toenails/acrylic nails. Should have gone to her before my PA at MDs office who surgically removed half a toenail months before. THAI gives a fabulous foot massage with her pedicure and an even better face/neck massage. She has full masseuse training (unique experience, Asia does it better! Wont say more, go experience for yourself) in her home country, but cant fully practice here. But I have to tell you, even limited, it beats any Swedish massage. I came out sparkling, invigorated, mind blown. She is such a dear! MIMI is a good manicurist and an outstanding artist in shaping nails! Lynns husband, LING, is always the gentleman and most accommodating in greeting/scheduling. His tenderness w/each client most touching. If you want a very gentle pedicure go to him, but Thai is my personal favorite. Lynn will help out any pedicure when it come to those in growns! I always leave a generous tip w/these four. The prices are reasonable, most services outstanding. So its only right.

Took my 85 year old mother in for a pedicure. The technician jabbed her with clippers several times leaving cuts. Two days later I had to to urgency care for the worst infection they had ever seen. They are simply dirty. I would give them a zero if I could

It was my first time at the salon and I had a terrible experience. Lady that did my nails did a bad job filing my nails and one of them started bleeding. She also did not speak any Englh and didnt explain the prices to me at all. At the end, I had to pay extra $10. She didnt apologize and was upset when tried to explain what happened. Please avoid this place at all costs.

I would have not expected this here. I came here as my friend recommended it. Let me preface that I am a person of color and my child is also brown, but her ethnicity is not clear. So, I called ahead a week made an appt at 11am. There were a total of 6 massage chairs with pedicure tubs. They put us two chairs down from the end. During my half hour of service the lady didnt smile once. At 11:30am, 3 older ladies who were white walked in. At this point, the only people left was my daughter, myself, and the lady that came in right after us. They, from what I heard, did hear did have an appt. They put one of the 3 ladies between my daughter and the lady that came after us. The staff then decided to make room. The lady that came after me and I were about in the same place in the process and I was clearly seating with my daughter. The lady than told me that I was done and they needed me to move over one[away from my daughter]. I asked her to repeat and she explained that they needed to make room for two people to sit next to the lady who just walked in. I looked over and they had not put someone else in the end in closest to the door. They would have had three chairs next to that one if they had moved the one other lady who came after me. I didnt suggest this though I should have. I explained that it would make more sense them to move my daughter then. She said no, and that, she wont take too long with her. I moved under protest. They quickly finished my daughter. They only barely washed the tubs and drew new water for the other two ladies. After that I decided I didnt want to stay anymore than I had to. I have no idea, how it made more sense to move my daughter and I, other than they could not make their other customers wait as they had not made an appt nor could they inconvenience the other lady that came in after me to move. I will never go back and wont recommend them. They clearly treated me differently and could have handled the situation with more care. Now I have to explain to my daughter that some people will treat you different based on skin color.

I had a horrible experience - 1st the lady was mad I wanted my nails shorter and kept complaining about it. 2 she barley filed or did anything. My nails are uneven not properly painted. Fast forward to later in the day and nails have already chipped and 1 has broken off. I have gotten my nails done for years at Perfection nails and this has never happened. Dont recommend to anyone.

I used to go to this place all the time when I lived in Vancouver. That was 5 years ago and they were always great, never had problems with my nails. I live in Washougal now so I found a place closer to home. Anyway, I happened to be out in the area on 3/27/18, and decided since I needed a fill, I would stop by Nail Clips. Big mistake. Not sure what changed in the past 5 years, but my middle finger started peeling on the 29th. It is now the 2nd and the gel is almost completely gone. I will be in the area again today, so Im going to ask them to fix it. If they stand by their work and fix my nail, I will change my star rating, but not even a week and one nail almost completely bare, thats pretty bad for gel. And my pointer finger is starting to peel now too.Update: 7/4/18 A little late, but Ive changed my rating from 1 star to 2. They did fix my nails at no charge, but Im still disappointed that the gel started peeling within 2 days. I will not go back. Ill stick to Dons Nails in Camas.

Not pleased! The woman owner/manager did a poor job on my fill...she talked loudly with coworkers in her language the whole time...it was not a restful, relaxing experience. Ill keep looking for a nail salon.
