Devin is absolutely genuine and helpful. The area is clean. The storage buildings are well lit and music is playing all the time. The music makes the whole experience feel more safe and less like a horror movie with empty endless corridors. Carts for moving items are clean and easy to find. The entire place feels safe.

The staff I have been in contact with when paying my bill for the last year have been reliable, comfortable and motivated to help. I appreciate your teams help! I never have an issue getting into the building to access my unit. The property in and out seems to stay quite clean as well which is a major plus. The only thing I wish could change is having the rates be more affordable, maybe even having the price locked in for long term customers especially.. overall, I am satisfied being a customer of extra space storage.

One word review: EXCEPTIONAL. Were first timers, and I have to say, I think we lucked out on choosing Extra Space Storage. Super secure. Super clean. Super helpful staff (YAY, Mackenzie!) Moving in was easy and, quite honestly, I couldnt hope for a better experience. Choose them. You wont be disappointed.

Ive had nothing but great experiences with Extra Space Storage so far, I started with a small unit on a promo price and I needed to upgrade the size of my unit to a larger one and was honored the same promotional pricing discounts. All the staff that I have encountered have been very well educated in their systems and I have been able to get in and out, no problem. I wanted to specifically mention an employee in the Vancouver, WA location Sarah was an immense help through out every process. She made it easy, lax, and care free.The only issue I have had is their website, which they are currently working on.

Devin was our contact during our transfer from storage unit to storage unit and we had a friendly easy and smooth transition and transaction with Devin.Devin loaned us a lock to secure our unit as we transferred our belongings allowing us to feel safe and utilize that second person to help with the transfer and not guard our personal belongings. My only 1 star would be the exit and entrance key pad is too far back and you cant reach it from my carand the exit is to far back and at a bad angle on the curve. On rainy days, thats not fun. I had a great experience getting our storage space! Super easy. We reserved the price online and it only took about 10-15 minutes to get all set up! Definitely would recommend.

Really kind staff who want to make it easy. Even upon moveout, I forgot to call and cancel in time, and they made sure to call me before my autopay went through. I have no idea how they even knew, but the extra time taken to make sure I wasnt charged was above and beyond. If thats not customer care, I dont know what is! Clean facility too :)

I have had a storage unit through them for about a year now and my favorite thing about Extra Space storage is knowing my valuables are safe. Compared to the other local storage companies Ive gone through, extra space is clean, well ventilated, hassle free and has a very friendly staff. I highly recommend Extra Space storage.

We were fortunate to meet the folks at Extra Space here in Vancouver. At every opportunity, the staff stepped up to make our move easy and simple. From finding us the unit we needed to working with us as we moved in, our experience was first class. If I were hiring, both Darin and McKenzie would be at the top of my list. In this era of emphasizing the support of the staff, this office is top drawer.

I had a great experience getting set up with a storage space here. Their customer service is incredible. Very friendly and helpful folks working here. Not only are they friendly, but they really do know their stuff... And it makes very easy to work with them and get things done. Sarah was excellent helping get everything set up over the phone. And when i went it to check out the unit, Devin was especially accomodating and provided great, friendly service. I would highly recommend this location to anyone with storage needs.

They left my family trapped inside the gate on a VERY cold night because they issued me a faulty code and have NO way to contact any real person. If you get stuck inside, YOURE WALKING. We ended up leaving the car and had to come back the next day, a HUGE hassle and not safe considering we had our little children with us. The staff promised it was fixed and would not happen again, but it happened the very next time. WARNING: they also seem to have designed their automated phone system to be hard to use in order to discourage users from accidentally staying past the 10pm closing time. So if the elevator is slow and you get to your car 1 minute late (this is what happened to us the second time) then you are in for a bad night. Theoretically the automated system (if it worked) would give you an emergency code to let you out, but they have the option hidden so deep in the menus it takes 5-10 minutes to get that far. Sadly the emergency code they issued simply did not work, leaving me stranded for the second time. This seems to be a problem with the Extra Space chain in general since its their automated system, though Ive only used this location so I dont know if its actually something wrong with this location. On the plus side, the staff was SUPER friendly when they were signing me up. Their first text messages (a day after I was stranded) were apologetic and promised they fixed the codes. But after the second time they left me stranded, they did not bother to respond to my text messages at all. Im sure theyre good people, but maybe they dont know whats wrong or how to fix it. For whatever reason, the local staff are doing their best but the Extra Space systems just designed badly. The danger of getting trapped inside GREATLY diminishes the value of storage to me and I think is unacceptable. Before I got trapped inside, I didnt think the limited hours would be a big deal, maybe you feel the same way. Just wait until you get trapped inside and spend an hour on the phone with a broken automated system.

Super clean, updated facility and friendly staff! Pretty large elevator so don’t worry about what level you’re on I’d say. Also saw shown restrooms and free carts to help move your stuff around. I came in for a 5x10 and and turns out I needed something bigger and she got one for me for close to the same price! Thank you Extra Space for making this easy.

We used Extra Space for a little over a year. The manager and assistant were always helpful and easy to talk with. The facility was always clean, all the lights worked, no bugs,, and had a consistent temperature. Had a great experience...for having to have half of our belongings in storage. I would definitely recommend this location.

This is the second time we have rented a storage unit from this place. We have had great experiences each time. This time was during covid. I went online picked out the size I needed. I got Everything through my email, my gate code and unit number plus a map of the place. The units are always clean. Staff is friendly when I call. Its so easy to cancel the unit once you no longer need it! Their prices are the best in Vancouver for the nice facility! They also have great choices for locks if you need one! We bought one a few years ago from here and its still holding up! Highly recommend!

Between my boyfriend and I, we have 3 Storage sheds at this location. We moved here last year and are still getting situated. It’s really easy to set up, and I was really pleased to see that I didn’t need the lock that I just purchased they included one inside of my unit and I really like the fact they have a little carts for you to use to move stuff from your vehicle to your unit. Overall it’s one of the better storage places I’ve used.

Well, that was interesting. I left without booking after I felt like the kid showing me around was being dishonest and rude. The quote online was 43 for a 5x10 and then all of a sudden by the time hes done talking its $58 a month and that was after raising the price for two different reasons, 11 dollar insurance fee I was not informed about and my quote somehow went from 43 to 47, and even though thats not much more I still dont like it when companies do that because they think I have no choice or Ill just settle. Also the kid kept calling me dude and bro and saying things like I got you, bro. Im a woman. Yes, I will most likely end up paying 60-70 a month for a unit somewhere else but if I know it is going to be that without the deception I would rather spend my money elsewhere.

So far, the staff has been friendly, easy going, and helpful. The facility was clean when I moved my belongings in to the storage unit. Overall, the experience from reservation to move-in was easy with minimal snags along the way.

Employee was very helpful showed us every thing that was available so we could pick what one we liked. The closest to the freight elevator won. And we were easily able to put a every person couch in it and we used the dollies they have available there. parking can get a little crazy on Saturdays but everybody at the place was really friendly.

This is not like any storage facility we have used in the past. Indoor is so much easier on your belongings and safer but aside from that, the service was exceptional. McKenzie met us at the door, introduced herself, gave us a tour, answered most of our questions before we even thought to ask them, thoroughly explained every aspect of the process, and demonstrated and quizzed us on opening the gate, doors, elevators and locks. We left there feeling like we would never need to worry about our belongings and that the occasional contact would actually be a pleasure. The customer service I received from McKenzie is beyond anything I’ve experienced, she is the prime example of who you want working for and representing your company. Thank you so much McKenzie I’ll be recommending this place to my friends and family!

Devin! What can I even say..I’m going through a huge transitional time in my life right now and it’s been so stressful! Coming to Extra storage was probably one of the best experiences I have had all year long. McKenzie helped my husband and I get into a storage the other day, she was great! We have had storage at the 78th st storage that used to be owned by extra space but is now owned by public storage and have decided to leave because it is not only a better location for us but since extra space was sold it hasn’t been cleaned and the customer service just isn’t the same. We are so glad to be back with extra space!

I’ve been renting at this place for several months and I’ve never had an issue! The staff is super friendly and always working hard to make sure you get a good deal, and are always in a positive mood, which I always appreciate. The prices are also really good comparatively speaking to other storage units in the area. Would definitely recommend!

McKenzie was very attentive and helpful when adding my own insurance policy to cover my storage unit. I’ve called before and she’s always been able to answer my questions or address any issues I’ve had.

Simple and Smooth! With the present conditions, we were able to find the unit we wanted, make a payment, sign contracts and get a floor plan of the vicinity all via cell phone. My coworkers and I work out of this facility daily. We work long hours and appreciate the well lit, safe, and secure lot. There’s a restroom inside for use which is always convenient. Units are accessible until 10pm and are secured with gated entry. Great location! Highly recommend for all your storage needs.

We had used Extra Space storage in CA, where they had even loaned us their moving truck to help our move. Facility was clean and secure. When we moved up to WA, we were ecstatic they had facilities up here, as well. We needed a unit right away and they had specials for units available immediately.We coordinated w/their call center and within a few minutes, we received a call from the local facility. We checked into the facility, had a tour and were in and out with our access code within 15 mins. Super helpful, clean, efficient. Excellent service. Thank you!!!!

Great location and super helpful staff. We rented a number of units to store our stuff from a cross country move. Mackenzie and Devin were a great help in finding us units that were the suitable size and conveniently located. Walked us through the paperwork, security etc. They were also really helpful as we had a 53’ truck that had to be maneuvered into place and a work crew to move between the units and truck. Everything went really smoothly! Handled with humor & efficiency. Great storage facility!

I was expecting to give them a 5 star review but when I showed up to do my move in, their internet was down. An understandable problem BUT they were not helpful at all. I was paying someone to move us (paid by the hour) and they wouldnt even let the movers start unloading the truck in the dock area while it took extra time to call a different Extra Space Storage location and e-sign all the documents. Plus, they knew I needed a lock and was paying for one over the phone while I was there, but didnt have it all ready to go. She knew we were in a hurry but just stood there and watched us talk on the phone with another employee. The very least they could have done was just give us the lock at no cost or opened the doors after we paid. The whole thing took extra time which cost us more for our movers. Not exactly a happy customer.

This is a great place to store and the staff is amazing. They are great at what they do, professional, and very friendly. 10/10 recomend.
