I was told to pay $47 for these nails. they’re messed up and she didn’t let them finish drying before touching on them because she was rushing. they’re so short let alone i didn’t get a them shaped so a reasonable price would’ve been $40. highly unsatisfied

Diamond Nails in Valparaiso ruined my nails last week when I went to get them fixed 5 days after getting a “no-chip” manicure that chipped after 3 days! Made my cuticle bleed some when the drill burned my finger. She finished the whole mani in 30 minutes and clearly didn’t give my nails enough drying time under the dryer. AND she had a horrible attitude while “fixing” the chipped nails! Drilled them down then polished them without any base coat. Paid $5 more the first time she did them than when I had them done two weeks earlier by one of the guys. The “manager” said they don’t give refunds and refused to give me one?? Will NEVER go back there! Thanks Leann 😡 Serves me right for going to another “chop-shop”

Had a13 min pedicure. asked why so fast and she said thats how long she does. been coming for years and used many techs and this never happened. ridiculed and dismissed when questioned.

It was really great there. The way the place is decorated makes me feel like Im somewhere super fancy and out of my price range 💜 The technicians are very polite and kind. The girl that did mine was very gentle. Their selection of colors is also vast and somehow they dont make it confusing. And their prices are extremely reasonable (mind you, all I get is a no-chip mani pedi lol). Although I usually go to Diamond Nails, I went for a pedi to a place across the street a few weeks ago.... I wont make that mistake again. 😉

When I got home from my pedicure, I noticed three of my toes were bleeding. I thought she was a bit rough with my feet, but she never mentioned she had cut the skin.Definitely will not be returning or reccomend this place.

The guy who did my nails was super rude. From the beginning he was annoyed . I asked him to do an acrylic overlay and he argued with me and said that I didn’t state that’s what I wanted. He gave me the acrylic overlay and then stated that I need to say that’s what I want next time . I showed him a design I wanted on Pinterest and he attempted to do it, but the end result was not good at all. After telling him that I didn’t like it and then asking if he could remove it and paint my nails a solid color he became annoyed . He proceeded to tell me that it took him a lot of time and that I should have said something earlier and told me I still had to pay . I calmly reminded him that I am the paying customer and if I don’t like the service he should take the pride in his work enough to fix the issue . I also reminded him that if he couldn’t do the design then he should have stated that earlier . The whole time he was fixing my nails he was shaking his head and appeared agitated . Not a way to treat customers ! I will no be going back !

Danny did an amazing job on my nails!! I asked for acrylic ombré nails and he made it look exactly like the inspiration picture. Probably my favorite nails ever. He is quick and made the nails all nice and even with a good shape.

Made an appointment for a friend and myself, once at the business I informed a male and a female that my friend was visually and hearing impaired. They refused to sit us together, the place was not busy at any point of our visit. The man spoke better English than the woman worker and both clearly understood the situation and what I was requesting and saying. They proceeded to still rush us as I tried to help my friend pick a color for her nails. The fact that we had to sit across the room from each other was pretty ridiculous, but then afterwards I found out my friend attempted multiple times talking to the male that was doing her nails and he completely ignored her.We both had gel manicures, it was 5 days ago...and my nails (real) are already breaking.My first and last time at this place. Disgusted in the these two unethical people, this place should be boycotted.

Extremely happy with the service I got. The girl doing my nails gave me exactly what i wanted and didnt try to upsell me like some shops do. She paid very close attention to detail and didnt rush through. I love my nails and Im so glad I found this salon.

He was nice but when it came time to do my Nails he proceeds to peel them off instead it’s soaking off my nail dip he hurt me left me bruises on top of my nail I will never go back there again a friend of mine recommend them I will never go back there again I told her how he was pleasant but really didn’t know what he was doing when he came to doing dip nails and then to top it all off he used no chip clear polish on top of them I’ve had my nails and dip powder for years and this is the worst I’ve ever had

This is probably the worst service I have ever gotten in my life. The lady used an acrylic nail to rip my dip polish off and in turn ripped off my entire nail... the shape is TERRIBLE, they’re completely lopsided and I’m bleeding in 3 places. There are many places that the top coat is not even on the whole nail. There was dip powder ALL over my skin and when I asked her to fix that they said it’s my fault that I didn’t wash my hands enough then tried to CUT it off of my finger with cuticle clippers. I asked for my money back and the manager said they look fine. This is the worst nail experience I have truly ever had.

Went with my daughter to get a no chip manicure and pedicure Saturday before vacation. Polish started chipping like crazy by Wednesday. Also, the gentleman that did my manicure cut me twice with the manicure tools, enough to make me bleed pretty good. Then put some kind of product on me, telling me it was peroxide to stop the bleeding. I know it wasn’t perioxide. Most likely won’t be back, waste of $140 plus tip

Pedicure felt very rushed. I come to the nail salon to be pampered. I feel a good pedicure should be 45 min with time to soak & a good massage barely 23 min later my daughter was done. I was told we were rushed because my daughters were having their nails done also. SO.... more services purchased = less time given. I don’t think so.

It was my first time getting a full set and they did amazing. They had a really good color selection, and they were very attentive and nice. They also have me a great pedicure. Love how much they pay attention to detail & make sure that your nails are poppin before you leave. I will definitely be going back.

I had given up on nail salons in my area. But Jimmy #15 @ Diamond nails changed that for me. They fit me in at the last minute. Jimmy was very reassuring, knowledgeable & talented. The salon is clean & nice up to date decor. I felt like a million bucks when I walked out of the salon. I have found my new nail salon & nail technician Jimmy!

I had high hopes for diamond nail as i had made an appointment for a fill. The technician who did my nails was extremely rough with me! she also appeared annoyed the entire time! I will never go back, i was just a simple fill and my color was very basic. i did not ask for anything special. i will not be going back.

Ive been here 3 times. This is how a nail salon should be run. I love their set up inside their salon. Their prices are good.They use sterile nail tools sealed in packages!Not to mention they do everything in a timely manner so youre not spending a super long time there. This is by far my favorite place to go to. Ive been happy every time Ive gone there. :) I had my very first pedicure there, my underarms waxed twice and a no chip manicure.

Horrible horrible service. Everyone there was mean. My daughter went to get her fake nails removed that they put on. They literally make her nails bleed and then proceeded to put her fingers in nail polish remover after making her bleed. Thule kicked us out and no one would give us a name so we could make a complaint. Never again will they get our business.

I have always had a great Experience here. Danny, Lynn, and Quinn do an amazing just BEAUTIFUL job on my hands and feet. I always walk out feeling like a million dollars. They take their time and yes they do get busy sometimes but they still try their best to accommodate. I have never felt that they are rude or unfriendly in fact they are real friendly.I have been coming to this salon for three years and have recommended it pretty often, and when people visit they are pleasantly happy, and keep going back. Though I dont live in the area but I have been here a few times already so I know they are not just good for once. I had different techs every time I am here and they are all qualified for the job. Never got rushed out when they get busy like many other places. The salon is very clean and organized. They sanitize their equipment after every use and that makes me feel very safe and comfortable being here. Reasonable price. Highly recommended !!

I came in for a full set w/o appointment and only had to wait five minutes. Tina did my nails... she was super sweet and paid attention to detail! Exactly what I wanted. I definitely recommend this place!

I came here because their website said they do liquid gel nails. When I got to the salon there was no wait, so I was seated right away. I showed a picture of round tip ombre french nails to the tech and asked if she could do that with the liquid gel. She said not exactly but very similar. She immediately began snipping off my natural nails, then got the tips and ACRYLIC POWDER out. They apparently dont use liquid anymore. Had I known that, I would have kept my natural length and got a gel manicure. Very disappointed, will not go back. Waste of $50. She also cut my finger pretty good with the drill.

I absolutely love my nails! He did exactly what I wanted, and he was very gentle and attentive and kept asking how I liked what he had done so far. They have pretty decent prices too! Completely satisfied and will definitely go back!

I went for a pedicure yesterday. Although I thought the pedicure was great I woke up in the middle of the night with two toes infected!!! Very disappointed that they don’t clean their utensils properly!

Would be nice if the person doing our nails spoke English and understood what we wanted. It’s a hit or miss here. You either get someone good or you don’t.

Very poor service they ripped off my daughters nails when they were removing her acrylics then put her bleeding fingers into acetone! Very rude employees!

The color and shape is gorgeous but the build on the nails aren’t good. i got acrylics, my nail broke after 6 days. i woke up and it was broken, they aren’t strong at all, won’t see me back there anytime soon. and to top that off i had an appointment for 5:30 and didn’t even get talked to until 6!

Poor quality work. I had a pedicure and it did not hold a day. No complaints about technician, he was ok, however 6 hours after pedicure, I put gym shoes to go for a walk and when I took socks off polish was smeared and nails looked messy. I called the next day to let salon know it. They agreed to fix it. And again, an hour or so passed after pedicure, I was taking those paper slippers off and polish came off again. Is that past due product? Cheap stuff or poor technique? Ive never had that happen before.I will not go back; its just embarrassing... I went to a different place and had another pedicure altogether. Just feel bad for wasted money and time. But now it makes sense why the place is so empty.

My boyfriend gave me a gift card for a manicure and pedicure here. I am very pleased with how everything turned out looking. We had some trouble with the initial communication of what I wanted, but other than that everything went okay.

I used to come to this place every 2 weeks. The last time I went, about 2 weeks ago, will be the last time ever. My tech completely botched my nails. My FRESH gel set started lifting up nail by nail. My nails look awful and hurt. I asked for coffin style and every nail was a different shape. I asked her to fix them a few times and she rolled her eyes, I just gave up. And I was overcharged. I wont be back. Actually I cant come back for months because I need to let my nails heal. Tom is awesome though. If you do go, ask for him every time. Hes the only person who does a great job!!!!

I went in first thing in the morning to get a fill in, while the staff was very nice the services that I received are terrible. They don’t even polish the full nail and when I pointed it out, it still wasn’t done accurately. And here it is less than 8 hours later and my no chip polish is already chipping. I can’t say that I will be going back to this place, last time I went was 2 years ago and now I am reminded why I haven’t been back. Just disappointed.

I tried several other nail shops when I first moved to Valparaiso, and I randomly found this one when I noticed it in the same parking lot as Chipotle. My first mani/pedi experience wasnt that great, but I gave them a second chance because of the friendly staff. Im glad I did! Ive been going here for over two years now and I wouldnt get my nails done anywhere else!

I asked the girl for a specific thing 2 times and showed her a very good picture and she still didnt what I wanted. Than when she was cutting my cuticles she dinged me up and I was bleeding and she didnt say anything. My friend went with me and a teenager with little experience cut her and she was bleeding even more than me. All though the place was very clean and nice they were not good at all. Do not recommend this place!

Almost everyone that worked there was really nice, except for the one that was doing my nails. She was really rude and messed up my nails, they were really crooked. One of the other ladies did my moms nails and left my moms nails extremely short. That lady did what she wanted to do and NOT what my mom asked for. I just wouldnt go back!!

I will not return to Diamond Nails. My natural nails were made so thin that they ended up hurting the bed of my nail. They continue to use the electric sander (drummle) on nails making them paperthin while they do not have the experience to use something like that. They have done so much damage to my natural nails that it will take months for them to grow out and be all right again. I highly recommend you NOT to come to Diamond Nails and spa. They don’t listen or talk to you while you’re there. They do talk among themselves and it makes you wonder what the heck they’re talking about, how rude! Poor business ethics.

Usually when I go its always quick service and they do a good job. This new girl they hired took about 2 hours to do my nails, was lazy about it, nails were the wrong size, had fungus growing under my nails from her messing up, and it hasnt even been a week and my arcrylics are already popping off. Will not be back. Going to Ivy Nails from now on at least I know theyll do the job right and I wont ever have this problem again. So disappointed.

I personally will NEVER return unless its to get my money back i just left there and im so nad about how my nails look! Every time i told the lady what i wanted she said i was wrong or what she was going to do i told her i wanted acrylic with no chip nail POLISH instead she did colored gel and it looks awful and when i pointed out something i didnt like she completly ignored me im so angry i didnt even want to say anything to her while i was there because i would have been extremely rude because i was so mad so i just paid my bill and left. My niece who was also with me got her nails done aswell by one of the guys there and hers look beautiful so if you do go there i highly recomend you ask for the guy and refuse the lady i really wish i would have got there names but i was so mad i just had to leave!!!!!

Get gel selection nails! Lynn is awesome nail tech. I would pass on the older guy there. Hes always in rush when doing your nails. He has actually nicked several women nails. Which is very painful.

Depends who you get. Had a polish change and still have flecks of the old polish. Disappointed. Spent 100 bucks for this and another full set. Will be going elsewhere for now on

This place just has terrible service. Uses expired product. Had to get my nails redone 3 times within 3 hours. Do not go here!! Also the manager hung up on me....so rude!

I must say I was rather impressed with their service. Theyre very kind and friendly .This was my first time visiting this nail salon and glad .I went on a week day last week after work. This place made sure the main area is clean and safe which was nice. I had a mani and pedi, their massage chair was rather awesome. She also served a free soda/water and candy to have while sitting down. She who helped me was quiet yet super nice. She took her time to polish and triple coated everything without asking!! I had a couple of nail design photos, asked her what is possible.... I had added 4 diamonds on both hands and this place didnt charge as much as other places I have visited in the past. I think the price for both mani and pedi was reasonable too. I would def recommend this place and coming back for the time in weeks.

My nail tech moved to this shop so I did too. Staff is somewhat cold, but it is a larger shop with several techs working at once. My no chip peeled off after a week but they fixed it free of charge.

Terrible customer service. They did a bad no chip manicure on my nails. They began to fix them and half way thru they said it would be $5 to fix them. Charging me to fix their bad work. I left with my nails half done and will not go there again and will tell everyone I know to not go there. Terrible!

She cut my pinky last week and it still hurts. I got shorter nails but yet they still (6 of them) have already fell off. my thumb nail fell off opening my car door to leave right after! She was a teenager with 0 expirience and she was doing such a bad job the owner had to take over and finish! not happy! want a refund!!
