It was during the quarantine that we found ourselves desperately in need of a new vehicle. It was difficult to get clear trade-in values from other dealerships and pricing . They handled a lot of the process online when other dealerships told me that to do so would be impossible. I have been driving a 2014 Mazda CX-9 for a few years, and wanted something that got better gas mileage. I had been wanting to get a newer vehicle for some time. In fact, I had my heart set on a Subaru Outback. After having a difficult experience with Castle Subaru in Portage, IN (they were horrible in dealing with regarding trade in value and trying to play the numbers game). We went to dealerships out on u.s. 30 in Valparaiso, and several dealers in Merriville, only to come back to Valpo, to Kennedy Mazda to find everything we wanted in our Nissan Rogue. John took us to the Nissan and explained a few things about the mechanics of the vehicle, and then John gave us the keys and told us to take it for a drive. This is a 2015 Nissan Rogue with only 35,000 miles on it, we couldnt believe our luck! Actually this is the third car Ive owned from Kennedy Mazda, I bought a Buick LaSabre in 2004 I think, but sadly I was in a car accident and it was totalled.I loved that car! The next car I have is a 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid, man is it great on gas! I love it as well. So the Nissan Rogue is our 3rd car from this dealership and we couldnt be happier! Traded in my vehicle to purchase a 2009 Nissan Rogue. Took it back the very next day with some concerns I noticed as I was driving it (felt like something was causing resistance in the tires). I am only on the 6th day since purchasing it and had to put on brake calipers, rotors, and brake pads in the rear. My brake calipers were completely rusted to the point of not even turning, and the pads were seriously worn down. While I absolutely believe this issue should’ve been noticed prior to it being sold, Andrew (the Sales Manager) did everything he could to make this situation right. He offered to refund me the full amount of the repairs and apologized. He made me feel welcome, appreciated, and corrected the situation in every way I hoped he would. Thank you (Andrew) SO much! Also, Rebecca Hunt is the one who sold it to me and she is PHENOMENAL. I have never ONCE had a negative encounter with her. She’s the lady to see during your next vehicle purchase!

After several months of research debating on which new car to buy, we decided to buy a 2021 Mazda CX5 Signature.We contacted several dealerships and Andrew Thompson at Kennedy Mazda offered us the best OTD price, and the communication was always clear and fast. We had asked to communicate over email, and they were very receptive to that (several dealerships asked us to drive several hours to meet in person first before offering an OTD price).When we got to Kennedy Mazda to pick up the car, John Zale oriented us with our CX5, and helped us to get the infotainment set up. He answered all of our questions and made the experience go as smoothly as possible. He made the purchase and delivery feel like the special experience that it was.Ken Freeland walked us through a few extended warranty options. It was clear that he cared about the options that Kennedy offered - for example he specifically looked for a provider that insured against sidewall cuts if you desired the tire/wheel insurance. The basic extended warranty covered all the electronics of the car, something the manufacturer warranties generally dont cover, so that was nice to put a cap on the expected costs of the car for the first 7 years.Weve had the vehicle for 3 weeks now and there are absolutely no regrets. Everything about this vehicle has met or exceeded our expectations. We cannot recommend the CX5 or Kennedy Mazda enough.

During my visit I found couple thinks(about dealership, not a car) that made my decision never ever go to Mazda.1. They talk to me very root way2. When I came time was 4pm .I wanted to check car in another service before buying and manager said: I am not gonna wait you. You can come Monday! (I did not know that they are closing at 5, but the way how he speak with me very awkward)3. I found oil leak in pretty new car(26K M) and asked to change or drop price on this fix(idk how much it was to fix). They did not want to, but in the end they fixed it.3. I agreed to drive Monday 2 hours again, but they gave me information about credit with interest rate 6%. After I said that I can go to the bank by myself they said: Hold on, oh yeeeah, here is another opportunity 3.5%, we have not seen this(they tried to make more money. So check all information that they give you)Very very very bad dealership. I was very upset about my experience with Mazda. Hopefully company will make some decisions to fix this issue with their customer service!

Several weeks ago we were in the market for a pre-owned car for our daughter to drive. We ended up looking at two different Mazda6s that Kennedy Mazda had on their lot. Best car purchase experience I’ve had in my life! Car shopping is one of the most dreaded things many of us have to do - even more confusing with all of the options currently available. Decided to purchase a CX5 after going over countless car reviews. (I am a former CX5 owner). I used a car buying program through one of the big box membership stores. Within a day, I had a call from Kennedy Mazda.Went in to test drive the CX-30 and CX-5. Trevor was so very patient, explaining the features of both of those vehicles. Decided to bring my husband back with me the next day, since I was being swayed at how fun the CX30 was to drive. Andy was just as patient, as we drove both of those vehicles again. Ultimately decided to go with the CX5-received a great price, and fair price fair price on my trade-in. At NO point did we ever feel pressure to purchase, which is so refreshing :)

John Zale was so helpful when it came to the purchase of our new vehicle! We found what we were looking for online the night before, he followed up first thing in the morning and I was in the drivers seat in less than an hour. John was familiar with the vehicle and answered all of my questions. Mazda let me take the car to my husbands work so he could see it, and John had started the paperwork before I even got back to the dealership. Drove down there from Chicago, and the hour and a half trip was well worth it. Replaced my hated Hyundai with a 2020 Mazda cx-3. My salesman was John Moore. He is an excellent salesman he understood my needs and didnt try to sell me something put of my price budget either. I havent even considered the cx-3 originally. He took the initiative to pull one for me to test drive. Obviously his initiative paid off for both of us. He made a sale and I have a vehicle I love.
