Awful apartment complex. Overpriced, will not accept USPS mail, so if you use amazon keep looking because they will leave it on their front porch to get stolen. Internet is awful as well, so if you do any type of gaming or streaming keep looking. They charge well over the average price for apartments, yet fail to deliver. Be smart and take your business elsewhere.
At the beginning of our stay, it was a nice and quiet place. As we stayed longer, our neighbors got louder, we could smell marijuana when we walked around the complex, cops were showing up more frequently. We tried to talk with our neighbors and basically got shoved off or cussed out. We didn’t feel safe with our daughter there. The maintenance crew were always kind and helpful, so that was a plus. The amenities are nice as well. It’s a decent place for people without kids, but I would not recommend it for families until there have been some issues addressed there.
Moved in last month. So please with apartment and property. The 2BR / 2BA layout is perfect if youre sharing an apartment or for when you have guest, as each room has its own private bath. The staff is friendly and attentive and the property is excellently maintained. First time renting in 30 years, and am very pleased with how quiet and peaceful it feels at all times, night and day! Thanks Northwind you should feel proud!!
Great neighborhood, family-friendly, dog friendly and clean.
Dont move here. The employees have spoken poorly on the residents and the residents of different nationalities. The cops come out here frequently so it’s obviously not the best place to live with kids. The rent raises have not improved any of the amenities here either.
Ive had a mostly pleasant experience here at Northwind. The staff is usually friendly and maint. requests are completed in a timely manner. We came from Student Quarters to this, so it is a huge improvement. My one complaint: they recently started a new policy where they will not accept packages at the office. Unfortunately, USPS will not leave them at your door so this is creating much frustration and inconvenience with deliveries. If not for this, it would be 5 stars. I would recommend this place.*UPDATE*Bumped back up to 5 stars for such a smooth move-out experience. Any charges that were made for damage and so forth were fair and they even offer to allow you to set up a payment plan to pay off the charges if you cannot afford them. Best apt. complex in town!
I would definitely recommend Northwind Apartments/Condos to anyone. I have lived here for about 8 months now. I absolutely love everything about this place!!! The pool is quite large, there are several amenities, and the staff is wonderful!! I have an elevator to my floor, and Im in a locked building with a key code. I feel very safe and secure here. For me, this is it! 😃❤
We have been here 3 months. So far its been great. Quite, clean, friendly staff.
Spacious condominiums with very friendly staff. They were very accommodating and quick to respond whenever we had an issue. Maintenance responded in a timely manner and pest control was never an issue while there. The only thing we didnt like was the entire condo had carpet flooring other than the kitchen and bathrooms, but thats just our preference. Definitely recommend!
Shannon is AWESOME my son was in search for an apartment. She made the on boarding process so easy and reassuring. Her customer service was filled with love and professional. The location itself is Amazing. Safe, clean, and it is definitely a 5 star status. If you are looking for a great place to live Northwind is your location call and ask for Shannon.
The condos were comfortable and spacious and the staff at Northwind were all great! We were new to the area and in need of living accomodations in a hurry. These folks were extremely helpful with the whole move-in process and really helped us out when we needed it the most. We are very thankful and we highly recommend this complex.
I lived here from Oct 2018 until Nov 2019. I loved the gated community, the pool and the size of the rooms in both the apartment and condo. Very spacious living areas and quiet place to live. There are the occasional residents who take advantage of the pool rules, but its mostly resolved quickly by the on-site security. Speed bumps are pretty treacherous, but when you see the way some people drive along the straight parts, youll know why. Had some issues with the CD when I moved out, and has been known to be very curt with people if/when youre not following what they think is right...and sometimes thinks theyre always right.
Very friendly and professional staff! Spacious apartments with good storage space.
Absolutely great apartments and great staff. The only problem is the speed bumps will hit you so hard even when going the speed limit (5 mph). On a couple of them I go 2-3 mph and it’s still very unpleasant. If you have a motorcycle I feel very sorry for you. But if you can get past that it really is a great place with a nice pool, a hammock area, tennis courts and more.
Its clean and well maintained. Maintenance does a great job in a timely manner.
I love living in this apartment complex. I feel safe here and their amenities are great. LOVE the pool and the staff is always very accommodating!
Ive only lived here for a couple months now but have had nothing but great things to say. very big and nice apartments and plenty of parking. the staff is very friendly and the maintenance is done very quickly. Definitely recommend this place.**UPDATE**I ended up staying at Northwind for 10 months, only breaking my lease and moving out to purchase a home rather than renting. I very much enjoyed my time at Northwind and without a doubt would recommend it to others. We adopted a dog and they were helpful with the paperwork and the whole process. They were also very helpful with breaking the lease and even gave us extra time to move out.
The neighborhood is very quiet and calm. Its in a good location. Walmart and Publix are within a few miles from the apartments. The office staff was very nice and helpful. They also did a great job at notifying you about pest control and about any other events happening at the complex. Loved the hammock park and pool area. Overall, it was a great living experience.
Had loud neighbors for the entirety of our stay we called the courtesy officer 20+ times to no avail (we moved out because it kept waking our children), upstairs neighbor flooded our apartment (no concession), apartment smelled like marijuana from neighbors constantly smoking, had our car towed from handicap parking with letter from Dr prescribing bedrest for pregnancy, with disability tag application on dashboard ($200+, no concession or courtesy call before towing in less than 12 hrs in spot), charged for bent (not broken) vertical blind (4) upon move out. LOUDEST APARTMENT IVE LIVED IN.
This apartment complex is great the bedrooms are very spacious and there is a ton of cabinet space in the kitchen. The front desk staff goes above and beyond to help you. Thank you Jennifer! When i put in work orders they get fixed by the next day. I would recommend this apartment complex.
Beautiful property and very spacious apartments! I am glad I did not base my apartment choice strictly on reviews. The staff is absolutely wonderful! My husband and I have recently moved to Northwind and it has been one of the best experiences we have had as far as moving goes! We have been far more than pleased with our new apartment here at northwind and our experience with interacting with maintenance and the office.
Very spacious apartments and overall nice complex. many amenities. friendly staff. service requests are addressed in a timely manner
My husband and I just moved from Northwind (only because we found a house with a backyard for the same price). We were there for 2yrs, and I can honestly say that overall, we loved it! First and foremost, Jennifer Boyd, whos the leasing agent/ associate community director for Northwind, was an absolute JOY! Ive never met someone who was so pleasant, accommodating, genuinely friendly and approachable. Even with my abrasive personality and sometimes, over-the-top requests, she always kept her cool and found ways to accommodate me and my family. My experience with her alone is five star worthy--- but to add to it, the neighborhood itself was safe, well-kept, pest control was NEVER an issue, and the amount of space we had in our 2B/2B was unmatched. The only issue we had with Northwind were the thin walls, which can be expected when renting an apartment.
The first thing that I want to say is that 100% honesty is something that is extremely important to me. As someone who was looking to move apartments (as I was moving to Atlanta recently), it drove me nuts that almost all of the people who cared to leave reviews at apartments mainly were people who were angry and/or upset. It made it extremely difficult to sort through apartments and find somewhere with relatively decent reviews. For this reason, I found it imperative that I get on here and rate Northwind for potential future customers. These apartments gave me a very wonderful three years that I was actually very sad to leave behind. There were obvious ups and downs, but everywhere you live for a three year period will realistically have those. The apartments themselves were gorgeous, and extremely large. I lived in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom and I had more space than I knew what to do with, and I am being dead serious. This is especially true in the Master bedroom. There was also PLENTY of storage space throughout complete with a large balcony storage closet and a walk-in laundry room off the kitchen with a laundry folding table along one wall. The one downside would be that there is not a designated pantry in the kitchen, but given all the other storage, using the kitchen cabinets did not put me out too much.Parking was very rarely a problem, as there are a plethora of spots to choose from, complete with a large guest lot towards the back end where I lived. As far as the noise level from other neighboring units was concerned, I was astounded about how little I ever heard anyone. The builders did a very good job of ensuring the units were essentially soundproof. You could occasionally hear people talking or low, muffled music if you stood in the bathroom, but never if you stood anywhere else.Pest control was something that was NEVER an issue here. It may also be because I was in a middle story (2nd floor) unit, but let me tell you, in three years I only ever saw 2 roaches in my unit, and that is impressive considering we live in South Georgia. They come and spray every few months (inside and out) and it really kept everything away. This brings me to my next point, maintenance. They were always on point. I am not going to lie, there is one member of the maintenance staff that can come across as a bit gruff and occasionally a tad rude, but I do not believe he intends it to come across that way. That being said, they were all extremely courteous every single time they came (even him) and they would come the day of the request or the next day pretty much every single time so you never had to deal with an issue for very long.If I were to do one thing differently, I would buy a chain lock for my door to put it on while I was home alone if maintenance was coming (they give you warning about the day they come for the routine things 2 days in advance, however they offer no specific time of day), just because sometimes they ring and knock rather quickly and come in a tad quick before you can get out of bed/ the bathroom in time, however they go outside and respectfully wait as soon as they realize their mistake, so no harm done. The last thing that I want to say, besides that for the price and the location this is the place to go, is that the office staff is very efficient and it was a pleasure being around them, especially Mrs. Jennifer whom you should totally ask for when you go in. There have been a few changes in staff over the years, some better than others, but that is mainly just due to personality differences. That being said, professionalism was never broken, and the office was somewhere I really enjoyed stopping by every month. Again, Jennifer is the bomb so please take the time to get to know her. It will make the experience you have just that much more enjoyable. All in all, living here was a wonderful experience and I think anyone could really make this place a home. I hope this review helped, and I hope whoever reads this has a wonderful rest of the day! :)
Its a great place to live its quiet its gated
Affordable homes, beautiful complex, and incredibly helpful staff. Theyve knocked on the door to wake up my wife while I was stuck at work and theyve even jumped my car on a particularly unpleasant morning.
Friendly service and a nice place to live
Gated community and clean pool area. Great place
Lovely place to live
The worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. Has changed management 3 times in 3 years and changes policies consistently. Has pool passes, has never asked for them in 3 years, checks them for the first time today on Cinco De Mayo and ends up calling the cops on some teenagers. The teenagers only asked for identification from the cop who was dressed in sweatpants and a t-shirt. He proceeded to cuss out the teenagers and get in a full fledged argument infront of all 50 people at the pool. Their were 20 kids in the pool unsupervised and they wanted to talk to teenagers for having the old pool pass and not the newest one. DO NOT MOVE HERE. Terrible management, not consistent with policies.
This apartment complex is trash. They still discriminate against specific dog breeds as “aggressive” even though no specific breed is born aggressive, it’s how they are trained.
Very spacious and open areas. I moved in only a few years after they were built. Carpet is original carpet so it has been needing replaced for some time (nails coming up, fraying here and there, and stains from previous tenants). Important notice, they started a convenient pay by CC rent system but neglected to tell people there is an outrageous $27 fee to pay by CC! I would have said this is a big plus for military folks who deploy but it is cheaper to send your check by express mail requiring a signature for $10 - $14. The big plus here is the basketball, tennis, volleyball courts, playground, and pool. There are definitely cheaper places and if you are military you may want to consider base housing because the gate here is in no way secure - it is a joke with people sneaking in all the time. They just wait in the parking lot near the gate or at the gate waiting for someone to use the opener.
They will get your deposit.
This place will charge you for anything they can think of, I had to read management thier own rules so I wouldnt get charged, good place, bad management.
Not as nice as youd expect
Great place to live
Great
