If youre looking to get your hair cut by the mean girls you went to Highschool with, youre in luck!- I came into Tropical for extension placement and left feeling inadequette and embarassed.After I overheard the stylist (Lashonda?) and the Salon owner whisper their judgement of me and coming to get my name and phone number incase I run out on the bill, I took the cape off and walked out. I didnt confront them as I was so embarassed. However I am not an addict looking for free services.. I am very thin due to medical issues and have C-PTSD and become extremely anxious in public- Especially when I am being Falsly judged.. People like these women are why some fighting suicidal thoughts stop fighting; its sickening.

Manicurist ask for more money when I went to do manicure and pedicure. I would recommend never go to nails there especially the man manicurist. Demanding for more money. First I was told for $60 but when I went there he increase the price.

Had a coupon and was going to try out this place but the lady didn’t seem very nice and barely acknowledged me. The place also just wasn’t a relaxing environment so I left. Maybe they do amazing nails but customer service was lacking.

I went here back when they were located near walmart for a waxing. Yes a man went for a wax, no it was not for a bet, I wanted to try it out. Angelique was the only person in town who would do a brazilian on a man, european wax refused profusely. Getting it done was a simple process and was made to feel comfortable through the process. The room is private and very clean, she made sure the wax was not too hot, talked me through exactly what was going to happen and how long it would take.Was it painful? well, not any worse than plucking your eyebrows out. But hey, it was my first time, hair was never done before, its gonna be a bit tender. This most recent time a month ago, it was much easier, not nearly as much soreness. I would highly reccomend Tropical Looks and Angelique for anyone looking to get a wax!

The owner was rude when she talked about one of her workers in a derogatory manner. I cancelled my facial with her on the spot.
