Ive been at SADDLEBROOK for near 4 years. I love the valet garbage, the landscaping is lovely and well taken care of. Snow removal is fantastic and instantly attended to. The halls are cleaned every Tuesday like clock work. The location is outstanding. Fast food, deli, 2 major grocery stores, bar with outside seating, an upscale restaurant and 2 convenient stores all seconds away from our door. Easy access to interstate. And great staff in the office. Also, good security across from the Urbandale police. The apartments are charming. Big windows, high ceilings with crown moldings and fireplace. I love my home!

Applied and tried reaching out to underwriter multiple times never got a call back even after leaving voicemails. I emailed her and the only email I got back was a denial letter. I finally called and the office lady had to message her and make sure she was going to answer because I was not too happy, talked to her requesting my money back mentioned to her that I had left voicemails and emailed with no response the only comment I got back was the money takes 7-10 business days to be processed back, she never apologized or gave an explanation as to why she didn’t reach out to me or return my calls. I feel like they got a 40 dollar application fee and didn’t even do an application never asked me any information about myself. Very bad communication!

We just moved in on April 29th. We love it here. It is so nice and quiet here. The management and staff are so helpful and super nice. We love our apartment it feels like home, it doesnt feel like an apartment at all. We love it this much now, we cant wait until we can use the pool and the exercise gym when it is able to open. I highly recommend SaddleBrook if you are looking for place to call home.

Saddlebrook is the place to live in Urbandale! If you are looking for a new home that is affordable, accommodating, quiet and has luxury features for an affordable price look no further. Staff is always so attentive and cares about each resident and the grounds are beautiful!

I adore my home. I have trees surrounding my building I feel as if I’m in a tree house. I have high ceilings, big windows, crown molding and a window above my kitchen sink! I enjoy my peace and quiet here, some thing I did not get living down town.

Beautiful Appartments with high ceilings, beautiful large moldings, fireplaces, bookcases, niches, garages, and convenient location. They pick up my garbage at my door 4 nights a week! Love living here. Maintenance is always on the ball and very courteous whenever I have an issue. The location is perfect.

The staff at the property are very nice however have poor leaders at the corporate level. The air conditioning in the fitness center has been broken for the majority of the summer and Richdale didnt care at all nor did they offer any credit for the lack of amenities. The swimming pool has very few chairs and has also been closed a lot. If you are renting for amenities, this is not the place. Ive lived in several apartments around the country and Id say this one offers the least bang for your buck.

We have been living here for 8 months and I find it well designed apartment. feels like home not a typical apartments. Current management and staff is helpful.There had been some delays in maintanace but fixed everything properly.

So far Ive been living here for 1 month and theyve satisfied every need that Ive had highly recommend. The apartments themselves are outstanding for an apartment.

Ive lived in the SaddleBrook apartments for over a year. It is rather rare that something happens that requires me to call maintenance, but recently I had to request their help with a leak in my ceiling. After putting in my maintenance request, SaddleBrook employees responded promptly. I dont often write reviews - but after the professionalism and respect I received from 3 SaddleBrook maintenance employees (Cheyene, Jake and Ethan), I felt it necessary to share.One of the employees mentioned above, responded to my concern about my ceiling at 9:00 pm at night. He went out of his way and came to check on my concern less than an hour after Id sent in a request. Additionally, the other two men came to assist with my ceiling issue the following day. The job they were doing was loud by nature, but they made a clear effort to try and complete it as quietly as possible and without any distraction/ hardship to me.I would recommend SaddleBrook apartments to anyone who is looking to reside in a quiet, comfortable community with excellent customer service.

Terrible customer service, irresponsible management and completely overpriced. We moved two and half months ago and CANNOT wait for the lease to be up. Two weeks into the lease, we discovered a hole in the roof that worsened with the rain. It was obvious that the roof had previous water damage and management still lied to our face and said it was the first time. Pieces of the ceiling drywall have since then fallen off, revealing a long crack. The water damage can also be seen on the paint. Not only has it been a complete rip off but it has also been embarrassing to have guests over when you can see the very visible water damage. To top it all off, the regional manager (Stephanie) never returns our phone calls, we have even had to personally go into the main office and have the lease agent call her for us. In this case, she answers the phone calls but refuses to speak to us, which is nothing short of unprofessional, disrespectful and ridiculous. DO NOT live here, unless you want to pay $1000+ a month to live in an apartment with holes in the walls and rude and negligent apartment managers.

The staff is always there with a helping hand! I’m sad that I am having to move out of urbandale and leave this place behind.

I have lived at Saddlebrook for two years now. The staff have always been extremely helpful, and maintenance requests are always addressed promptly. Im not sure why there are so many negative reviews, Saddlebrook has been nothing but accommodating to me since Ive lived here.The floor plans are very unique, and feel more spacious than most apartments. The pricing is reasonable for the quality of the apartments and peace of mind you get living here. The location is in the center of Urbandale, close to shops and running trails. Overall, my experience here has been great and I would highly recommend.

Horrible staff, they dont care about your maintenance requests. Took them a month to change a light bulb. The pool is always nasty and dirty, the community is loud, always some sort of construction going on at the nearby parking. Havent had a good nights sleep in 6 months that we stayed there! And Im still waiting for my deposit check a full month after we moved out.

They make look nice, but this is the worst apartment experience Ive ever had. They are small, over-priced and are poorly constructed. I had to take my dog to be DNA swabbed (I had to pay $40.00 for this privilege or be fined $300.00) so they can test droppings left by your animal $150.00 for the first offense and $300.00 per 2nd and 3rd offensive. They keep coming into my apartment to inspect things without notice like once I came home to a maintenance man in my closest claiming to be fixing my cable AND he was in the wrong apartment. Id rather be homeless at this point. DO NOT LIVE HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE TORTURE!

Absolutely horrible staff!!! Your maintenance requests will take months to complete, the pool is small and always dirty and nasty. And CONSTANT CONSTRUCTION at the huge parking lot behind the complex.
