From the moment we called Al for an estimate to the time Curtis and his crew left we’ve not been disappointed with Lenz H&C. Just the opposite. Al came to our house and took the time to figure out what we needed and worked with us on price. On installation day the team was on-time, efficient and clean. Very friendly guys who knew what they were doing and got it done quickly. Replacing an a/c and furnace is never fun (or cheap) but the team from Lenz definitely made it easier to handle. Very happy.

The actual owner came the next day for a look-see and an eventual quote. His crew was out by 7:30am next morning removing and installing the AC. I have an old home with a very small basement, so the furnace had to be taken out in small pieces. In less than 1 day, I had AC again. In less than 2 days, the furnace was completed. I cannot say enough good things about Al Lenz and his crews. They installed a new Heating/AC system and water heater for me last year and worked so hard and efficiently to get a junky improperly installed system out and got me a system that has worked amazing and has dropped my energy bill for my large house below what I paid for a tiny apartment. There was a manufacturer issue on the water heater and it went out Sunday. They were out Monday and investigated and made arrangements to get a brand new one installed today (Tuesday) because my basement was getting repaired the same time too. Lenz installed my furnace. They came out quickly to inspect my old furnace. (I had called another company that could only put me on a 24 hour waiting list, so I really appreciated that Lenz came out very soon after I called.) The problem was identified within minutes. The solution to install a new furnace was not what I wanted to hear, but they offered a variety of financing options and space heaters to keep me and my family warm until the furnace could be installed the next day. Our furnace conked out at 9:30am on Sunday, February 14th. Valentine’s Day. -9 below temp outside, with a feels like temp of -26. Thanks to Hannah, Al arrived at our house by 10:30. He quickly figured out the inducer motor was shot, then went and found a new part (on a Sunday!) and had our furnace blowing heat by 12:20. Amazing local company who does right by their clients. Lenz is a QUALITY company!! I used them previously to install a new AC and they came back and checked on a shaking issue at no charge and have been great to work with. Then, all of a sudden our heat stopped kicking on. I called on a SATURDAY and a tech (Dan) was out within hours. He checked our whole furnace system even though lo and behold one of our kids had plugged up the furnace vent outside with our sub pump tubing. Dan went above and beyond and made sure it was all working even when the problem ended up being simple. He did all this at NO CHARGE. We woke up on a Saturday morning with a temperature of 60 degrees. Our daughter has a trach and isn’t supposed to be in temperatures below 60 degrees. Service tech, Dan, was here by 10:30am and had our heat back up and working by 11am. Thankful for their help, especially on the weekend! We will be looking into their membership program, that he told me about, to keep our furnace/AC regularly maintained and service assistance readily available if needed again in the future.

In August we decided it was time to update our heating and cooling system for our 50 year old home. We contacted Lenz Heating and Cooling. Within a few days Al came to our home and sat at our kitchen counter. We went over what he could do to make our home cool, warm, and increased efficiency. Al presented us with a plan and financing, if needed, to replaced our old system. The plan was what we wanted, and we were placed on their installment schedule.On the installment day the Lenz team arrived at the scheduled time and completed the install, cleaned their work area, and provide us with a lesson on the new programmable thermostat. All were completed by late afternoon - a job well done.We have enjoyed our new efficient quiet system. It has kept our house cool and during these last few days warm. We have been happy with our decision of the programmable thermostat. We have been able to set the temperatures for day hours and evening sleeping hours, plus the ability to regulate the thermostats from our phone.One more thing- Lenz Heating and Cooling also arranged for a company to clean our very dirty ducts. 50 years of dust gone with a BIG vacuum.Thanks Al and the Lenz team for making this transaction a very positive experience.

Our heater went out late Monday night, I called 3 companies to try to get a repairman, only Lenz had a actual person answer the phone.She tried to help me trouble shoot over the phone and when that didnt work I had a repairman at my house the next morning.The other 2 companies didnt even call me til midmorning the next day !!Great service, I highly recommend !!

My furnace started acting up at the worst time! I think the temperature outside was a “feels like” temp of below zero. A good friend told me to call Lenz, so I called early to see if it was at all possible to get someone over to check on it. I figured there was no way, and that I would have to spend all day calling around. Jenny was super nice and helpful, and within a minute of calling I was penciled in with a wait time of only 3 hrs. Al was my technician. Not only was he early, he was fast, efficient, respectful of being in my home (he wore a mask and booties over his shoes) he even jumped the fence into my back yard (because the gate had waist high piles of plowed snow in front of it) and trudged through the snow to clean an old wasps nest out of the outside furnace vent. To say he went above and beyond on that one would be an understatement. I will definitely use them in the future, and absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a genuine, customer service oriented company.

LENZ took very good care of us. Had a better quote for a new HVAC system for high efficient system than the Home Depot quote, also they processed the warranty and discounts from Mid American. Very honest and easy to work with. They were at our house during the derecho. Electricity went out but they pulled out flashlights and kept on working so we could have a working air conditioner. This is a great company. I called early in the morning because I thought my thermostat wasnt working. They had someone out by 1:00 pm. It wasnt my thermostat, a wire came loose in the air conditioning unit. It only took him a few minutes to fix and make sure it wouldnt come loose again. Equipment works fine until you need it. In November, just as weather was getting extremely cold my daughter starts her furnace to get no results on a Friday night. We were lucky Al Lenz fit her in on a crazy busy Saturday. A quick review discovered she had a crack in the furnace so he quickly turned off all access to inadvertently start the furnace. Same day he had a quote prepared and took the time and patience to discuss via long distance call with me as to best options. Both furnace and air conditioner were promptly installed within the week abiding by all time frames he promised, including extra pipework. Automatically returned early this spring to ascertain her air conditioner is in prime condition for upcoming summer. Great customer service and stands by his employees workmanship. Lenz came out to my place today and with one of their employees (Gus) was more then professional for fixing my heating issues and sold me a thermostat (at a GREAT PRICE !) so Ill stay warm and toasty during these cold winter days. After they started the install of a new furnace/water heater,the owner pulled his crew off the project due to they told me they would happily substitute a 50 gallon water heater for the 40 gallon one that was quoted for the same price. They brought out a 40 gallon one to install. After some discussion, the owner decided to pull his crew out and said he would call me next week. After two weeks,I have not received a call yet.

Lenz was my first of three contractors I had give me a proposal for a new Furnace, A/C & Water Heater. Al was very professional, made a thorough review of our needs and desires regarding the equipment and add-ons. He gave us his best price right up front and No hard-sell! The other contractors gave proposals and they stayed & stayed, wanting to get a signature before leaving. Both tried repeatedly to come back and match the Lenz Deal! On install day, Curtis & Brody & Drae were very professional, took all precautions to keep the house clean and did excellent work. They made sure we knew everything about our new system before they left. We love our new Amana furnace and AC and our new Rheem water heater! At our request they also installed an Ecobee Smart thermostat, an iWave R 4900-20 air purification system and Aprilaire 700 Humidifier. I definitely recommend this family owned business! Al & Jenny have a GREAT TEAM!

I highly recommend Lenz for your heating and cooling needs. When it first started to get cold the first couple weeks of October our heater decided to start malfunctioning and wouldnt light the gas. Since It was a weekend day we needed someone that was 24/7. I found them on Google and read some of the reviews before I decided to call. I am so glad I did, they had them come out shortly after I called and it was the owner who came out to look at it. It ended up working but he said he didnt know how long it would last since it was the mother board, and of course it stopped working before our appointment Wednesday and they were able to move some things around and get us in first thing Monday morning! I would say pricing is average but the service is excellent.

Al diagnosed the issue in 10 minutes gave me quotation and then called for the part and scheduled a technician to install it that day. I would recommend them for their professionalism.

Lenz Heating and Cooling was excellent! Al was very professional, gave us a quote for a new HVAC system along with a new water heater. He gave us a fair price! On install day, Curtis & Drae were very professional, did excellent work. They showed us our old system as they were removing it and explained the resoning behind what they were doing. Nick demonstrated the thermostat and all of its features. He made sure we knew how to use it before he left. Curtis and Al made sure the system was working before they left the job. From the time Al arrived to provide us a quote (which was an incredible value for the quality of the appliances), our experience with Lenz was professional and easy. Dan, Aaron and Jeff arrived promptly the following week to install our furnace and ac unit, and got right to work. By the end of the day we had a fabulous and efficient upgrade to our home and we barely noticed they were here!

AL is very knowledgeable about his profession. Very professional and friendly. Did a great job in servicing our unit and gave us some good advice. He didnt try to sell us anything or push unnecessary services on us. By far the best company we have had servicing our unit. I will be calling them again. He also hires veterans which to me as a veteran is very important
