Called to ask about repairing my Friedrich A/C unit. Arturo told me what he thought the problem was, I asked him what details I shared led him to his diagnosis. He became offended that I asked him this question and suddenly said he refuses the job. He said some customers are better to stay away from. Even after that, I responded kindly and apologized if something I said offended him. He told me good luck, find someone else. It was insulting and unprofessional. I said nothing inappropriate or disrespectful. Ive never heard or experience anything like this. Literally, impossible to work with him.

THE BEST AIR CONDITIONING SERVICE EVER!!! HELPFUL, RESPECTFUL OF MY TIME, REASONABLY PRICED AND KNEW EXACTLY WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. My 18-year old Friedrich A/C needed a knob and Im in NYC. I found them on the Friedrich website for authorized repair. I spoke with Arturo who knew what I needed and was interested in helping me. He serviced my A/C, brought me a new knob (didnt charge me for that), and was priced fairly for the service call.Its a pleasure to put in a compliment for truly exceptional service. He made an appointment that was convenient, called me 15 minutes before and was on time and was knowledgeable, and fixed what was broken. He also was COVID safe.KEEP THE GOOD WORK ARTURO!

Had a great experience with this company! I called to get my AC fixed and they fit me in their schedule extremely fast! The tech came out and immediately knew my issue, said it would be a quick process about a week and I had my AC back with no noise and cooling properly! The tech was very informative and the office woman was happy to answer any questions I had before the service men came out. They dont give you an exact time that they will arrive but the did show up in the time window they provided and called in advance! Highly recommend

I am absolutely pleased with the service I received from metropolitan air conditioning. Technician Arturo is so smart and knew the issue right away. The receptionist was the sweetest person and gave me an appointment for the same day. Everything was just perfect. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and I will be using their services again if I ever have a problem

Great experience. Got an appointment quickly. Tech came when he said he would, made the requested repair and charged what I was quoted when I made the appointment. He obviously knew what he was doing even though the repair was for an old, discontinued window AC unit.

The technician came out for Frigidaire warranty repair. The first time he came out, he said that the circuit board needed to be replaced. So he ordered the part and when he came out the second time to change the part, he couldnt get the unit to power on. He said that the unit needed to be replaced. So after almost 2 months of waiting for a new unit, I called Frigidaire back and asked them if they could contact the technician from metropolitan air and they did. When they spoke to the technician, Frigidaire stated that the technician wanted nothing more to do with servicing my unit. So Frigidaire set me up with another service company. This new company came out today and said the reason why the unit wasnt powering on was because the technician from Metropolitan, put two wires in backwards. To me that shows that the technican either wasnt knowledgeable at his job, and didnt care about his customers. I will never deal with metropolitan again.

Ive had a terrible experience trying to work with Metropolitan. I was quoted a price for a repair and then a few days later I was told the price I was quoted was incorrect and the price was actually higher. After speaking with Arturo he reluctantly agreed to honor the original price. When I called the morning of my appointment day to confirm the time I was then informed that I was removed from the schedule because Arturo doesnt like customers questioning his prices. I never told anybody I wanted to cancel the appointment and nobody told me prior to my calling that my appointment was canceled.

STAY AWAY. The technician didnt show up in the 3 hour appointment window as arranged. I had called first thing in the morning to confirm at the appointment time and that the Technician had my cell phone to communicate with me. The Technician did not show up or call me. When I called after to check on the Technicians whereabouts, I was told I would have to wait until he gets there. I asked if she had an idea of how long that would be and the woman hung-up. Repeated attempts to call were transferred to a voicemail box that was not set-up. When I did speak to the same person later, seeming upset and agitated, she told me the Technician, Arturo would come when he is ready but could not give me an indication when that may be and I would just have to wait. On a subsequent call I was told that Arturo is now not coming at all as he does not want to deal with pushy customers - evidently, to Arturo pushy means asking for an indication of arrival time long after the scheduled appointment window. Arturo did call much later and was rude and aggressive. Consequently, I did not feel comfortable in having him in my home from a safety perspective and therefore told him not to come. Such a disappointing and costly experience. PS. The Review in the name of Suzy Last was put on immediately after I entered this review and contradicts all of the issues I raised. Coincidence? No, Suzy Lasts review was likely put on by the company itself, Metropolitan. They seem to have no integrity, and no shame.

When my refrigerator broke, I called Metropolitan, and they came the very next day. They informed me that I didnt have to pay a service charge because the parts and labor were still under warranty. I couldnt have been happier with the quality of service.

I AM BEYOND GREATFUL WITH THE SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED WITH METROPOLITAN.THEY ARE AMAZING. MY A.C. STOPPED WORKING AND THEY GAVE ME AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE NEXT DAY. ARTURO (THE TECHNICIAN) WAS SUPER NICE AND VERY KNOWLEGABLE IN HIS LINE OF WORK. HE WAS ABLE TO TELL ME THE PROBLEM WITH MY A.C. RIGHT ON THE SPOT AND FIXED IT RIGHT IN MY APARTMENT.THE SECRETARY THERESA (I BELIEVE THAT IS HER NAME) WAS SO PLEASANT! SHE ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS AND WOULD GET BACK TO ME IMMEDIATLY IF SHE DID NOT HAVE THE ANSWER RIGHT AWAY.I WOULD DEFINATELY RECCOMEND METROPOLITAN AND WILL DEFINATELY BE CALLING THEM AGAIN IF I HAVE ANY OTHER PROBLEM WITH ANY OF MY A.C. S.
