A whole crew of service people came to install our new mini-split system. They were personable, communicative, understanding, and willing to work with my scheduling quirks. I had a great experience throughout the process. They assured me that if I have any questions, I can call on them if I need. Highly recommend.

The phone etiquette of the owner and office staff was unbelievable. So my kids dad passed and I was looking to have my daughters HVAC maintenance done(a funeral and covid is a big financial burden for a young adult) and I know its a better deal to get a maintenance plan. Office said tech would have that when he came to do the maintenance. Neither the tech when he was on site nor the office had the correct info said id get it soon. Instead I got a bill for 180.00 no maintenance plan options listed so I phoned in lady says shes sorry and shell get it out to me. Couple weeks go by and I Called again. This time Im trying to vent my frustration with the lack of follow through and still asking for that updated invoice with options. The woman was extremely rude and unprofessional so I asked for a supervisor. So man gets on the phone doesnt want to hear anything im saying(my guess by the way he spoke to me he is in a relationship with the woman I spoke to) ends up saying hes reducing my 180 bill to 90 and now they wont do business with me bc I cant be pleased? I believe he said his name is Robert. I never asked for a reduction in price. I was actually interested in a simple apology for the office lady and her poor attitude and my only mention of prices was in regards to the difference between a maintenance plan and an outright $180 (bluelakes area) maintenance on a mini split. I will never use them for anything ever again. I did call reliance who had exact prices quotes and answers to all of my questions never placed me on hold and they will pick up my maintenance plan for 125/maintenance. I hope this business is using an AP to listen to the cust calls on occasion(we call that quality assurance). Some professional advice, You might see why theres a drop in business when certain people work.

Central AC/Furnace installation was completed quickly and very reasonably priced. They completed the job for ~$1,500 under the price that they originally quoted me. My situation was a bit unique since I had an uncommon return grill that needed a special order to replace. In order to get my return grill replaced, I had to call to set up several appointments (some of which were missed without AC&R letting me know, and some were rescheduled because the installer was unable to complete the replacement on his own). It was over a month after the installation was complete that I finally got my return grill replaced. Overall, I would recommend AC&R, and I am sure that the issues I had are not common practice for their business.

Our heating unit wouldnt turn on, so they replaced the thermostat for $175. Had to call them out about a week later for the same problem. They rebuilt a part, but reinstalled it incorrectly and had to come out a fourth time. They blamed a tree branch that was a few feet away, but if that had been the case, they would have had to cut it to make the repair. All in all, they came out five times and my husband still had to rig it in place in the end because some wiring should have been strung through a hole, but wasnt installed properly. It ended up costing around $750 and over two months of them coming out. And they wont seem to respond to my requests for a receipt (they do their receipts electronically). Dont waste your time or money with AC&R.

Jonathan did maintenance on my heater and replaced my allergy filter. He is very professional and did such a great job. My heater is working really well now and my PG&E bill is down a lot. Today he installed a new thermostat for me. I requested Jonathan install it. Again he did a great job. Taylor found me the perfect thermostat, just what I had asked for. She was so very understanding regarding what I needed and wanted. She always called be back when she said she would. I am so pleased.

You should be glad to know that there’s still honest people out here who value the work they do. First Jessie came and then I had Jonathan. Both extremely friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and thorough. No more portable heaters throughout the house. WE HAS THE HEAT!😜

Two service techs came to tune up our furnace. They did a thorough job, quickly. Told us along the way what they were doing. At the end of the call they even replaced the shelves we had to move to give them access to the unit - something no one has offered to do before. I would recommend AC&R.

AC&R Services installed a new split head Mitsubishi Air Conditioning System in our home. The furnace died this last winter and we never had anything but a swamp cooler in the summer for the past 38 years. The swamp cooler died last fall. Both ran pretty much 24/7 according to the season, and we were never happy with the results.It is remarkable how quiet and efficient the new units are, and for the first time since we lived there, it was a comfortable 78 degrees during the heat of the day.I would recommend AC&R to anyone who is looking to replace their old A/C. The AC&R staff did an excellent job from start to finish! Kudos to Mark, Rob, Ryan, and Josh for a job well done!

AC&R is a top-notch company. They are honest, trustworthy, reliable, and incredibly qualified. The office staff is friendly and very good at communicating with the customer. The on-site crew members are polite, hardworking, conscientious, and amazingly proficient. AC&R is the only HVAC company I will ever use!!
