I was checking on website to see about Silver Sneakers participate with this club. I have that available with my insurance and I was told that they accept that program. I havent been there yet but will visit soon. Im highly interested in pool as water therapy and pool exercises are my favorite since a major injury in 2012. Looks good to me but I gotta go check it out and see if its good as it seems and love that they have group prog
Lots of choices, machines, classes, pool. Josue is a great zumba instructor.
I cant say anything bad about the staff. The staff deserves 5 stars, but the place itself needs a better upkeep. Their is a dark room on the bottom floor with half of the machines not functioning and the ones that do work have lot of dust around them making it hard to breath in that room. Everything else is pretty decent. They also have childcare with reasonable pricing. Overall I give it 4 stars.
Omg our family love this placeBest family place ever.....gym,swimming,pool,you name it,pay for the day you kids can do everything you do there, just love it !❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The Outdoor salt water pool is great. Nice and clean. I only have a summer pool membership thinking of extending it. Pool is open year round now which is incredible. Management and staff go above board in serving disabled clients especially. No complaints from this swimmer.
Wont fix the a/c in the media room. If you want to workout in the heat of the summer where it feels better outside than inside, this is your place! Worked out this morning in an 78° degree room that was set to 67° and the statement (theres been many) that it will be fixed soon which I also heard a 1½ months ago. FIX THE A/C!!
Hasn’t been cleaned since 2010. Decent equipment.
Place needs updating looks the same as when I was in high school 31 years ago.
Woodcreek is an awesome gym. The people are friendly and encouraging. Especially the employees. My trainer Mallory is the best trainer. She has infinite knowledge about bones and muscles and treatments for my RA. Mostly disabled friendly( minus the pool). I love Woodcreek.
Decent gym when theyre open. Not too crowded, decent equipment, nice people. Unfortunately theyre closed for any random holiday you can think of. Days before and after holidays are closed, even banks are open more than them.
This is a great gym for one good reason: its never overcrowded. Even in January, I still had the gym almost to myself. Love it. I get in, get out, and walk on the beautiful trail nearby. My family works out here and weve referred 7 other people who also come regularly.
This club has been around for a long time and has always been a clean, modern club with several group fitness classes, child care and lots of equipment. It has a pool, sauna, hot tub and lots of showers (bring your own towel). Its also right next to the running trails. So you can lift then run. I have switched gyms several time, but always come back to Woodcreek.
We were having an issue with the heat and the new management actually called us to assure us a new air-conditioner was being put in. We love this place due to it having the finest workout equipment, the different types of classes they offer, the pool, but most of all to know they have a management that cares enough to call you when there is an issue, is just amazing! Thank you Woodcreek Athletic Club !
Great place for your body
Great atmosphere. A lot of new equipment! My only complaint would be that the hours of operation arent ideal especially on Sunday but of all the gyms in Tyler that I have been a member this is by far the best!
Clean Locker Rooms. The who facility is clean.Staff and Management Is great as well.Never had a membership until my husband talked me into getting one.Its the only gym in the Tyler area that has an out door swimming pool as well. That I know of.
Ridiculous! I called and asked for information about joining and the guy on the phone says is there any way you could just come up here and ask?Um. No. I want information. Im a potential customer. The only thing he could say was well we dont give gym information over the phoneGreat. Ill go elsewhere.
Enjoyed the Les Mills classes. Didnt like that none of their ellipticals had the arms included. Would like to see a wider variety of cardio equipment.
Best racquetball in the area and the pool is beautiful.
A great place to workout! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, everything you need
Its a good gym for the most part. There are 2 weight rooms with plenty of free weights and machines, a pool, hot tub, 4 racquetball courts (you can borrow racquet and balls), daycare while working out and a cardio cinema. All sounds good, why a 3 star, right? Well in the cardio cinema there are several machines broke down, at least 2 ellipticals, 4 pedaling machines and 2 or 3 treadmills. Also the water fountains there put out the absolute worst tasting water. Its clear the filter in it needs to be changed but when I told the maintenance man he said that water fountains dont have filters. False! Looked up the brand and model and low and behold they have filters. It would get a significantly better rating if so much of the machines werent broke and there was drinkable water. Other than that its a pretty good gym and I like working out there.
I have never been to a gym that was converted from a two-story office building. This place needs some major upgrades and updates. The exercise equipment and weights are old and some of them dont even work. Its pretty sad when you go to a gym and there are machines that are not working and you have to figure out what youre going to do because the machine you want to use is not working. They have a enclosed I think its called a racquetball thing and its okay. they have a swimming pool and a spa but when I tried to figure out how to get the spot to work but I couldnt figure out think maybe it was broken but the pools okay is it was warm but it really need to be clean the deck its need to be that needs to be updated to. they had this one room in inside where its all dark and you can watch a movie in there and it had some ellipticals and some running machines but the lighting in there was just off and sometimes there was no movie to play so it was kind of not worth going inside there. There is one time where their AC broke and it was like a hot box in there and it wasnt even hot outside I have no idea why it was so hot and it wasnt even crowded but it was just not good and that their AC is be updated to say so I feel that he needs to be a lot of updates of that place to make it more efficient before right now its just a whatever Jim its not really that great. You you can get a workout its just the whole atmosphere about that place its just it just needs to be updated thats all but you cant get to work out.
My new gymHas everything I need. Sauna, classes, whirlpool, and great people
Never too busy. Love the pool.
Great place to work out at and great atmosphere and great machines to workout love this place and it is very clean.
Love it great place to work out and very friendly people.
Great place, clean, nice machines and good variety of classes. Staff very heppful.
Classes for everyoneThe best instructors in town
With the new management gym is going down
Been going here for years off & on. Still smells the same
The gym is a 3, dated equipment and locker rooms, but the instructors are a 5, if ever an LA fitness or something of that caliber came into Tyler all these instructors would be gone in a heartbeat I would imagine
The showers or the drains in showers are just nasty.
Not over crowded!
True passion in this place
Nice
