Great gym. Has all the equipment I need. I feel more comfortable in this hardcore gym environment than a globo gym. Owner very nice and inviting and took time to talk shop about lifting. Will always a stop by here when passing through.
I stayed in Tyler for a week and looked for a local gym. I found Raw Iron Gym and spoke with Austin, who advised of location landmarks from my hotel and day rate. Upon arriving, he greeted me and gave me a brief overview of the gym.I wanna STRESS this is not a Fitness Club. It has big weights, awesome equipment and weight lifting appeal. No AC just weights and more weights. Powerlifting specific area and clearly labeled. So if you just wanna lift weights with no BS, I highly recommend go here!
Raw iron gym is exceptional in all ways. Equipment quality, staff, and the entire vibe of raw iron is something you can’t find anywhere else !!!
Amazing staff, awesome facility, free womens self defence course for women, my wife included.
The experience was ok, the owner was super nice. But that is about as far as it goes, the equip is very outdated and old. Nothing worked as it should.
Such a great atmosphere!! Staff is super pleasant and tons of great equipment!
The new owner Tara met myself and my brother at the front. I am from out of state so it is very nice this gym offers day drop in rates! I love that. the gym is so much cleaner than before but still has that hard core feeling. work out was amazing and cannot wait to train again at Raw Iron
I came to this gym from crunch a few months ago and I absolutely fell in love with this gym and as long as I’m living in Tyler you’ll see me here!
Absolutely fantastic gym. As soon as you walk in you immediately feel comfortable and welcome. Perfect place to go to for a good workout. Super friendly staff, the layout is fantastic and just gets you in the mindset to get after it. Hands down my favorite gym Ive been to.
There are so many gyms in Tyler, but this place is my addiction. I absolutely would not want a membership anywhere else. Tara is a great owner, and talks to everyone here and knows what she’s doing. This place is such a home to me.
My favorite gym hands down. The people are so friendly, helpful and encouraging. The trainers here are great too Tara Rickert and Zach McIntyre. I have made so many gain and hit a ton of milestones with Tara. Give them a try for sure!!
Its the best gym in Tyler by a mile. It puts places like crunch and planet fitness to shame. Its got all of the equipment you need including squat racks and free weights. Overall a great experience.
Love this environment of this gym. Walking into this gym, you know you are going to get an awesome workout!! Tara does a great job at making you feel welcomed. I would definitely recommend this gym. Hammer strength machines everywhere. Come check them out. 24/7 access, showers, bathrooms, cardio, and way more.
Raw Iron has never ceased to improve upon its facility, equipment & new machines, supplement and prepped meals, energy drink selections, you name it!! Tara and Rutten always keep the place staffed and cleaned to perfection!! If youre serious about your fitness goals, this is the place to be!!
The best gym in tyler by far. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The equipment and personal trainers are great and the environment is very good.
Great gym, been going for a long time, its the best gym in town for people that want just a old school powerlifting gymThe fact that it is the old Electric Cowboy building brings me back to college lol.. I am part of the 4am crowd so never met the owner but they have always done right by me.
Best gym in town, the staff is great always available to answer any questions.
I enjoy the environment, as well as the management and employees always helpful and kind.
Im a member out of Mt. Pleasant. Getting access to all the Raw Iron gyms is a great option.
In love with this gym!!!!!! Gym if youre serious about your health and fitness!!
My second home. From Metroflex to Raw Iron, absolutely love this place. Veteran friendly!
The owner is really cool and friendly, its like a cool garage gym with plenty of free weights.
Hey, this isn’t a “review” per say, I tried to call, no answer so, two questions. How much are the gym memberships and can a 15 year old work out there?
