Poorly handled staffing agency. You follow their protocol by sending your timecard in on time, however you may not get paid on time!!! Bad, bad!!!

Overall good experience and ended with getting the job. The temporary time is pretty long but it was worth it.They have holiday pay as well!

This has been a great experience, that Ive went through with this company (Express Employment). From the beginning they have been totally dedicated to helping me find a job that fit me, and one that i would love. They listened when i told them what i wanted and thats exactly what they found me. I had a great experience at Express in Tyler. I actually went during the beginning of COVID and was processed and placed immediately. Even though I never met Rebekah in person she periodically contacted to me to encourage me and see how I was doing. I appreciated that. My temp job is now permanent but if I ever need to be placed again I will not hesitate to call Express!!

They haven’t been very responsive with me so far. I’ve tried texting the numbers they gave me a few times this week and haven’t gotten a single answer. Also when I tried calling I got told to text and wait for a response. Before my first assignment they were texting me everyday but since my first assignment seems to have ended, I haven’t gotten a single text. May have to consider a different agency because it seems like this one doesn’t really care about it’s people.

My experience with express was absolutely remarkable, this was my first time working with them and their services did not disappoint. Martjin was phenomenal, he matched me with jobs that correlated with my skills. I had a hard time finding a job as an entry level young professional straight out of college but the Express team facilitated that process.

Was contacted for prescreening, then received text for phone interview the following day. Employment agency was 15 minutes late calling, I then spent the next 15 minutes on the phone with 3 different recruiters who were all trying to find my file, one thought she had put me on hold but she had not - I heard her speaking poorly about me, then another recruiter picked up the line and told me the position was no longer available. Completely unprofessional and unorganized. I wouldnt waste my time. Gave 1 star because I had to in order to post review.

This was my first time using an agency and they went above and beyond for me. Rebekah was amazing in finding me a position and I literally had a job within the week and have been happily working at it for a few months now. She was and is amazing. Where to begin with this place. Husband and I were needing jobs bad. Was told about this place no big deal. Get there for an interview and while some lady is asking me questions her fellow coworkers are talking smack about me and my personality. Very professional (sarcasm). Next I do their little tests they have set up and they proceed to tell me I have no skills in anything. Awesome. Just recently come to find out a family member used this same place and they had their card number stolen. Never had that problem in the past until they went there. Dont waste your time or energy on these people. P.s. since I have no skills Im just gonna add Im graduating this semester with a degree while all of you sit at a desk.

Ive used Express twice, and both times I have had amazing results. The first time I used their services was about 10 years ago. I had no prior office experience, but I did well on the testing. Because of that, I was able to get an interview within the first week. I was offered the job and worked there nearly 10 years. Now that I need to work part-time, I made the decision to use their services again. This time I had similar results. Within a week, I had already been offered a new job. Faith and Matt rock!

I loved working with Express. I had tried other temp agencies without much luck, Express was different. I walked in with my resume on a Friday morning and left that same day with a job for Monday. Originally the job I was sent for was something I wasnt exactly excited about and had a very quick end date, but by the afternoon of the second day they placed me in a different department and I have been there ever since. I turned my application in at the end of December pass the drug test and didnt get work till the end of January. Mostly due to the fact that I didnt own still toe boots. Then I finally get boots and the first job was to last two weeks from what little Im told it lasted for 2 days. Then they sent me in blind to a different company that was an hour away from my house witch is a good ways to drive when you dont have any money. I went to orientation not knowing much of anything about the job. Once they told me what I was to be doing I didnt feel comfortable with doing the job plus driving an hour one way for work. So I left and express terminated me cause I didnt give them a 48 notice. I hadnt even signed the documentation from the job, just said this aint right for me and left. No point in wasting that companys time right, figured all would be fine right... Oh how wrong I was Id have been stuck doing a job I wasnt comfortable with for 48 hours till they found a replacement. I could understand if I had been there a couple of days and I couldnt get along with the staff and wanted to change jobs. But I hadnt even been there an hour and it was orientation I wasnt even working yet. I think as an employee I should have a right to say no this aint for me with in the first 2-4 hours and not get punished for it. If its not something Im not comfortable with then I aint gonna do the job to the best of my abilities and cost the company more money then by me just saying hey Im not interested an opting out. I wouldnt suggest this place to anyone that doesnt want to fill like cattle being shoved into a shoot with no information and told you have to live with whatever blind decisions. That are being made for you by some cocky guy in an outdated shirt and tie. If they were truly professional my experience would have been better. I would have also wouldnt have been forced to work a job I wasnt comfortable with for any length of time and not punished for not doing said job. Instead given another assignment if and when available.

Not a good experience by coming here. To start off the man working the front (Javier) was very hard working and very welcoming however after waiting about two hours I finally get into an interview with (Bre), she didnt give me her last name and she was very rude, very unprofessional and didnt even have the right paperwork on me. After two minutes of pointless talking she sent me on my way saying she would get in touch with me about four days later. There is no excuse for people like thisThis place is nothing like it used to be, if your looking for a temp to hire job I highly recommend going somewhere else. Dont waste your time and patience here.

Hello world, I applied for a job posting, sent a resume and personally spoke with the recruiter who was all smiles and giggles over the phone, she said that this job was available and it was a good company to work for. Today I went in to interview for the job and the consultants first words were What kind of work are you looking for. I Told him about the job posting that i previously applied for and then told him about my trade and skill set, even though they had my application and resume. The job that I applied for didnt seem exist and they could not tell me what happened to it(same job posting is still listed), they instead told me about another job, that NO ONE wanted!! It was disappointing and all I could think about was this feels like a bait and switch operation, at least in my field....beware!

Express Employment found me a temporary job when I couldnt all thanks to their networking with companies in the region. It took about a month, but the job market is has lots to do with the delay. If you need some professional assistance with finding a job, Express Employment has much to offer.

The service from employees are friendly, a little too friendly sometimes. They give you start from the bottom jobs and you really dont want to do but do anyways because they push those jobs on you at the interview. Unless you have experience then theyll help you find the best jobs for your interest otherwise they will half help you.

After relocating to Tyler From NYC, finding a job in the corporate areas I wanted to work was extremely difficult - even with a degree, skills, and experience. I met Matt at Express through a mutual friend, but it was during the holidays so there werent many interviews they could send me on. In January, another mutual friend put me back in contact with Matt and he was then able to send me out on several promising interviews. Though I was routinely told I was overqualified, Matt didnt stop marketing me to other companies. Thanks to his persistence, I landed two jobs as an Executive Assistant and Outreach Coordinator. The fact that Matt does check-in with me to see how I am doing and feeling in relation to my work is an extra bonus. It gives me the feeling that if something were to go sideways, hes there to discuss my concerns with and that I have the final say in where I work, too. Especially if inappropriate behavior arises. And that he has my back as a fellow human, and as a fellow co-laborer in this world. A million thank yous to Matt and Express!

My first time coming to this place they told me I had to come back when I been with a job for a year. The second time I went back the lady at the front told me Everybody was out the office. The third time I went back I seen them give jobs to Drug heads, and etc. After waiting for 2 hours me and this other lady was told they didnt have anything open and good luck with our job search. I still to this day wanna go off on them but whats the point? I dont recommend anybody use them. Especially if your about your coins..👋

This is my first time to ever use a temp agency. I was very nervous and had my doubts as I didnt want to be going from job to job. However, they found me a job fast and I am so grateful for the team!

This company helped ruin my professional career when I moved to Tyler in 2001. I had been working for Neighborhood Services, City of Tyler for a full week & was then asked to go thru a temp agency hiring process. I agreed. My superiors then asked me to go thru another temp agency in order to get paid. This was Express Personnel, as it was then called. I agreed. It seemed that the City preferred to use that agency for hiring. I was paid thru this agency. I was promised by my departments superiors that I would be hired on full time in 30 days. This was then changed to 50 days. I have a copy of an agreement between Express Personnel & Neighborhood Services stating such. Neither party followed thru on the agreement. Other employees that were hired on at the same time & even later received permanent status as a city employee, but I didnt. After 7 months of being lied to & ignored, I turned in my resignation. I had been renting rooms & my latest rental agreement had ended. I had no place to live. I could not rent an apartment without having a permanent job. No one with my department or the city personnel dept. bothered to help me. Basically, my hard work was rewarded by being treated unfairly both professionally & ethically. After moving 100 miles back to my hometown, I found out that the Express Personnel manager lied to the TX Workforce Commission & my request for unemployment compensation was denied. The manager said I didnt show up for future job interviews & reported the same to the TWC, but I had already informed her that I was living 100 miles away & she would have to call me or send me a notice if a suitable interview came up. She never contacted me. I was in contact with this Express Personnel offices owner, Rocky Gill, a number of years ago, but he didnt think his company was at fault for anything. When I quit Tylers Neighborhood Services, I made sure the manager at that time was fully aware of why I was forced to quit. In fact, I had complained to her several times during my 7 months at my city employment, but she did nothing about it as she was obligated to do, professionally, if not also legally. I also tried contacting Neighborhood Services years ago about getting a copy of my employment file, but they never had the decency to respond. I even made additional complaints in the past years to Tylers Equal Employment Commission, but they never responded, either. I had to surmise that they were all in collusion with each other. The experience left me very bitter. It would be nice if I could receive some sort of compensation from Express Employment Professionals and the City of Tyler, TX. I think I at least deserve that from them.

Worst service I have ever received. I was supposed to receive a paycheck on my 2nd week of work. They said they sent it to a bank account, but I have not had a bank account in over 5 years. They are refusing to give me my paycheck.Do NOT do business with these thieves. They dont care about their employees.

If only I could put zero stars. Horrible horrible service from font desk to consulting!!!! My husband went in for an interview they drug test him and said it came out posetive. Send us to a lab to get another one passed HE DID AS HE WAS TOLD THAT HE HAD 24 HOURS with in the time his first test was done. We call in the very next day and they RUDELY twll us that the new guy told him wrong that he had to go the same day he got tested and that in other words he was terminated from express. I call back and tell then that is not fair we did as we were told the lady screams at me and dont let me talk. Tells me they cant do nothing about it. And by the way ny husband passed his test and till today we have no refund of what we payed. They never called us back and let us know anything they have a sorry servcice. Not to mention Javier was the only helpful nice person there.
