My sons and I have seen Gina for several years now. Wouldn’t trade her for anyone. She is excellent with her customer service as well as consistency with quality and knowledge. My son and I have on rare occasions have seen other stylists due Ginas days off and everyone is professional and skilled. The shop also stays clean and welcoming to arriving customers which is always a plus. Overall this is a great shop which is easier to get to in a less congested area.

Elizabeth, the front left stylist, is almost as useless as the online checkin. In store she’ll tell you an over exaggerated time of 3-5 hours.Don’t bother with the “convenience” of online check in like I did, you’ll see your name next on the computer screen until someone walks up and suddenly “ they were here earlier, I just didn’t put them on the schedule”. And you want me to pay you?Haircuts are mediocreCustomer service is terrible, don’t even bother with giving a chance, much less a second chance.This isn’t a Paul Mitchell salon, but I expect to not have an hour of my time wasted to be told what amounts to “I didn’t feel like doing my job”.DON’T BOTHER.

I asked for a beard fade and the woman said no problem. As soon as she finished there was indeed a problem. My beard was not only uneven but wasnt faded at all. Basically she had a gotee. I had to go home and shave it off after months of growing it out. I could have saved $20 by just staying home and shaving. Will never go to any sport clips again

First time sports clips customer. I got my hair cut by Sarah. She did a wonderful job and was very knowledgeable in discussing every aspect of what she was doing to and using in my hair. The massage and hot towel was great as well. This will definitely become my go-to hair cut destination

I am generally pleased with the haircuts that I get, but the last time I went was a very unpleasant surprise. I always get the back and sides as close as they can. Usually the stylist has a small foil type electric razor. I got my usual high and tight with a fade as close as they could get it, the stylist used the electric razor on the back and sides, but this time AFTER she had finished, she told me that there was an “extra charge”. I’ve been using Sport Clips for the better part of a decade and have never heard anything about any “extra charges“. I usually get the MVP and usually tip 5 to 7 dollars. But telling me about this extra charge AFTER she had already performed it was not cool. Getting surprised with an extra $10 service that I wasn’t expecting is rather a rude surprise. I’m done with Sport Clips.

Mallory does a great job every time! Has a great personality and handles business like a pro . Always holds good conversation while attending to my needs. Definitely recommend!

Haircut too short. Went there for a haircut not a sales pitch. Lady wouldnt stop bugging me about buying products even after I denied multiple times. Will look for another place to get haircuts.

After moving back to East Texas I had trouble finding a good quality barber that I could trust. My brother told me about Mallory at Sport Clips on Troup HWY and I am so thankful he did.Mallory is an amazing stylist and always provides outstanding customer service. I cannot recommend her enough.

Sarah was amazing, she cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. The first stylist to cut my hair in over 2 years, I was very nervous initially because I terrible past hair cut experience. But she quickly calmed my nerves and did a great job. I will be coming back all the way from Houston to Tyler for my hair cuts for now on!

Went in with hair down to my nose And asked Gina for a fade on the sides and only 1 or 2 inches took off the top came out with no fade and only 1 inch of hair on top. Terrible paid no attention to what I wanted just did what she wanted then charged 25$ for a haircut that I didn’t even want and now I’ve got a bald spot on that back of my head that I never had before. Don’t recommend Gina was my first haircut at sports clips and now it’ll be the last.

When I went there Saturday to get my hair cut I told Ms.Watkins that I wanted my hair cut short on the sides and the back also to cut it on top but leave it long enough to where I can part my hair on the side. She did not do that all she did was give me a buzz cut and called it a day I am not happy I want my money back and I want an apology.

I took my boys for a haircut with a girl names Brooke and she was amazing with my boys and very nice . The haircuts were great and I will be back to see her again!

Always have a fantastic experience here when getting my hair cut. The stylists are always very knowledgeable about mens hair and arent dismissive like Ive experienced at other, more specialized salons.

I have worked with the company for 5 years and have been at many other chains, and none of like sportclips. I love working here, they truly care about the client experience.

I normally love Sports Clips but this visit was a bit off. The woman who cut my hair was not very attentive to the stray hairs she missed and my wife had to point them out. My wife ended up having to fix it at home. The girl did a good job with trimming my beard though.

Today I had one of the worst haircuts of my life at sportclips. The lady messed it up so bad I still got charged for it. I went half mile down the road to Supercuts and they fixed Me Up Just Right and gave me a discount!!! They were all in shock when they saw my hair. Supercuts is the place to be! Go see Michelle she was amazing and friendly. She had me done and out the door in 10min.

Even though i checked in online, i had to wait 35+ mins after i got there. The hair stylist were not courteous to tell me that there would be more wait and my name on the screen showed 5 mins for more than 20 mins. This is not fair. Very disappointed

They are nice and most the time do a wonderful job cutting the hair just how you want it and if you come in later to fix something that you noticed after leaving they will fix it for free!

I have been having my hair cut by holly since August. I have followed her to both Longview stores and I’m ready to follow her to Tyler. I have had bad haircuts multiple times. She is consistently good

Allyson is the best stylist. She is very friendly, outgoing and has a sweet personality. She is really good with the young boys, my son loves her. As mom, I love her, too, for the way she treats my son and I when we come in. I always wait on Allyson, no matter the wait time.

Not happy with how much of a rush Cheyenne was in. My best friend was asking for a nice short fade and when he got back to me it looked like she used one size guard on the bottom and one size guard for the top, there was no gradual fade between the 2. Like a weird very short bowl cut. We like to use Rachel but decided since she wasnt there that surely Rachel wasnt the only good stylist there and we were wrong. He went to walmart to fix the fade part because Cheyenne was in too much of a hurry. Advice to anyone of youre going to use this location do NOT rely on Cheyenne but Rachel is amazing.

When is the best experiences always

This haircut started out good. My husband was treated to the New Customer discount. However he ended up having to style and dry his hair, and the lady was not knowledgeable or helpful. We will not be returning.

Download the app or log in on the web site to check in (make an appointment ). You can see how busy they are too but if you check in online or in the app there is VERY little wait when you arrive. Its a great system if your short on time or dont like waiting around. All the women are good there. Gina has been cutting my hair for 28 years.

If you need a very quick and very simple cut, its the perfect place. And the people are nice. Im personally not going again though. $18 for an uneven buzzcut thats equal to what I can do at home. I know my hair isnt super easy to work with but I shouldnt have to go home and fix a haircut.

This is the second sports clips I tried thinking it would be different then the sister store on Broadway. But no. Every time I go here my hair gets butchered. Its not until I get home and really look in the mirror that I see random uneven cuts. Its not just one person, the majority of hair stylist seem to have about a weeks training or half pay attention to what they are doing. Stay away if you want a decent haircut.

Gina is great. I used to let anyone cut my hair, now Gina is the one and only.

I absolutely enjoy this place for getting hair cuts. !!!!!!BUT BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!! I used a girl I didnt know by the name ROSSIE. I had to shave my head after growing my hair out for 5 months because she Did a horrible job. I dont want to get into detail but my side burns were trimmed 1/2 inch different she cut, trimmed and hacked in all the places I said not to after showing her a picture of exactly I wanted, such a disappointing hair cut. So be careful who you use make sure they can cut the style you like. Hope this is helpful, now the waiting game for my hair to grow back begins! Dont know if Ill go back after this one.

The worst hair cut I have ever gotten. The ladys their are so rude and basically gave me a bowl cut. It would have been better if I went to the local preschool and had a 4 year old cut my hair. very unpleasant experience

The mvp haircut is awesome. But i feel like Ive been rushed through and once i get home to check my haircut out closely i have noticed places that were missed and uneven sideburns.

Terrible experience, highly urge everybody to stay away. Walked in they all looked at me and said nothing. Waited for a short time then was called back for haircut. The stylist I got was rude, wouldnt even say two words if I said something to her. She also took WAY more than I told her to off the top of my hair, basicallly giving me a buzz cut. And when she was done she carried on a side conversation for 5 minutes before she came to check me out. Pathetic place, and I will not go back.
