If I could give negative stars I wouldThis isn’t a fake or malicious response. My vehicle was estimated at a certain amount and then when the vehicle was complete, it went up by thousands. The car was kept for a lot longer than quoted. Then to top it all off, receiving other people’s work orders in my paperwork.
They were so helpful and patient with it being my first time in an accident. they made sure to keep me updated through voicemail and got me a rental even nicer than my car! they were really friendly and explained everything to me and made sure i got what i needed done, and did way more for me than i had to get done. they made such a difficult process so easy! i definitely would recommend them
Let me start out by saying this is my second time using them. The first time I am not sure who worked on my car. This time Ron met with me. He was extremely professional and kind. He was quick in preparing the estimate and explaining everything in easy to understand terms. He pointed out the damage while explaining so there was no guess work on my part. He made this process easier and I got my truck back earlier than expected. I will most definitely use Joe Hudsons in the future.

Only used for USAA claim since the shop is a partner network shop, expected a $6,000 repair and got a $9,000 estimate for a rear quarter panel and rear door repair. Insurance totald vehicle, decide to keep vehicle, paid JHC a small fee to put panel back, and found Killion Collision in Palestine to do the work for the expected $6000 repair, avoided a salvage title since Texas law changed on January 2021, speak to your insurance to determine if a salvage title is required. To be fair, the parts used are like oem, but not aftermarket. Also, JHC staff do seem fair and honest, their estimate may have been tied to what insurance company expects for repairs, 100% OEM and replacement panels as opposed to any rework. Would recommend getting a few repair estimates outside of Tyler if you find yourself in the same situation.
Was sent here by my insurance company after getting rear ended. During my appointment for an estimate, the guy didnt show up so instead of actually checking out my car, they just took some pictures. Then when I dropped it off for repairs I had to wait for the two people at the front desk to finish their conversation before they acknowledged my existence. I was told it would be ready either the next day or the day after. Its so far been 5 days since drop off and I still dont know when it will be ready. All because they didnt look at my car the first time I brought it in. If insurance wasnt paying for it, I wouldnt be using them.

Got an estimate from Ron. We agreed to the estimate, took the vehicle in, then Ron sends me a new estimate for twice the original estimate?? Very unprofessional! Definitely dont use this company! We ended up getting the vehicle fixed for less than Rons original estimate. Buyer beware!

Friendly professional and informative. They keep you updated on your repairs and timely on delivery. We have used them for hail damage and front end repair after colliding with a deer and a coyote. We have been very satisfied and will use them again if the occasion arises.
Where to begin.... Davis and Green is by far the worse body and paint shop I have ever experienced. I was lied to and treated like trash. I send my car in for body work due to a minor fender bender. It took almost two weeks to receive my car back only after calling and calling only to be lied too about how the head lamp part was the wrong part and they would have to reorder another one on Friday. They said the day before the car was almost ready and they were finishing up on the head lamp. Then on Friday they said it would be the following week before they could get the correct part in. Mind you they are closed on the weekend. I send them a email about all the disfunction and disorganization in the company. Never heard a word again until Monday morning when they call to tell me the car was now all of a sudden ready. Only one hour after opening. HMM... seems strange they could get a new part in and install it in one hour. But too top it off when I received my car back my seats had grease stains all over it. It looks like whoever was working on the car had very dirty hands and smeared it all over. Why dont they put plastic down like most body shops and dealerships do? When I talk to them about it they said it was like that before... The car was not even 3 weeks old at time. They send me a picture of the trunk with stuff in it saying it was dirty before. It had a few clothes in the trunk and that was completely irrelevant to the stains on the front seats. This was my second horrible and stressful experience with the company. I was thinking this time around it would be much better, maybe last time they had my other car they were just having a bad day. However I should have trusted my gut feeling with this company and used someone else. My fault for thinking. I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. There website says they go above and beyond.... that is most definitely not true.

I had a great experience with this company. All the staff were very friendly, professional, competent, and efficient. The initial estimate was done in a timely manner. Drop-off and later pick-up of my truck went smoothly. The repair and paint work quality was excellent. I can’t tell there was ever any damage. .... After an rear end accident we brought our 2016 Ram truck in to Joe Hudsons Collision Center aka Davis Green. This is not the first time we used their service, however, more than likely it will be the last.They informed us that I would take a few weeks but they would order the needed parts. First of the challenges start right about now. It took well over a month and a half to get the parts in. I called weekly to inquire when they would be here. No, the COVID had little to do with the situation. We ordered parts in January...Once the parts got there they said it would take another three weeks before they could start working on the truck. I asked to speak to the manager because of all of the run around. After explaining the situation he got us in sooner.Time to pick up the truck. I got a call that the truck was ready but there was another issue. The insurance company didn’t pay all the money to the shop and they had to create a supplement. I asked how long that would take and their comment was who knows they couldn’t get ahold of the adjuster. I inquired if I could get my vehicle while they were getting their money and the answer was no. However, they stated that I could pay the difference and when they got paid I would get my money back. Mind you this was hundreds of dollars.So, I got the ole truck out of shop. They also failed to add the receiver, ball receiver clip to the invoice and stated that I could pick it up and bring the receipt and they would pay me back. Yes, I bought the components. A couple of weeks later I inquired about the reimbursement check. Go figure they didn’t know what I was talking about. After several inquiries they found the check. Yes, there is apparently more, the check was short and the ball, receiver and pin was not paid for.After several calls and visits my situation has still not been resolved. At this point I have given up that they will do the right thing. We almost nine months into it. I am glad I did pay the difference to get my truck otherwise I wouldn’t have it today.

The front my BMW was damaged by a trailer hitch and they fixed it in a week. My car looks better than ever. From beginning to end I was informed on the status of its repairs and I’m sooo happy with it. I worked with Mike and he made my experience very smooth which was a stress reliever since I had never taken my car to a body-shop before and I wasn’t too sure on what all I was doing.Everything was presented clean and straight to the point on what was needed so we didn’t have any delays or back and forth talk with the insurance. If you ever need any auto collision repair Davis-Green are by far the best! This is the second time we have used this business for our automobile repairs. They made the process so easy for us. When you walk in the front door you are greeted by friendly faces and top notch customer service. I was muddled up from the accident and when I left I was at ease. We had a funeral out of town and Enterprise rental is in the same building which is life saving. I did not have to drive all over town it is a one stop business. I handed my keys over and never looked back. Everything was easy and they kept us updated with insurance expenses and our out of pocket expenses. A short time frame was given when the repairs was expected. However, they completed the repairs before the date! I did not have to have someone to follow me over and drop me off and pick me up. I returned the rental onsite and picked up my beautiful Jeep. An extra bonus my car looked amazing on the exterior but also the inside was spotless. A lot cleaner than when I dropped it off. Oh yes, I left with chocolate!

I really hate to give a bad review but I was really disappointed with my experience here. I thought by reading their reviews I was picking the right place to take my vehicle. Unfortunately, they didn’t meet these expectations. I received an email approx. 5 days after drop off that my vehicle was ready and I should be expecting a phone call from them soon to pick up. I didn’t hear from them so I gave them a call to ask the status and no one ever called me back. I called back again the following day and was told the car was going under their extensive check of repairs and test drives before returning to me. 24 hours later, on a Friday, I give them another call and they tell me my car was ready to be picked up! Yay! I arrived at the shop and waited for them to pull the vehicle around. Upon immediately getting into my vehicle, yellow warning lights are going off in my dash. I asked them to take a look at it and the man who brought my car around seemed shocked as if during their “extensive check of repairs and test drive” they didn’t see these warnings immediately. In the 20 minutes it took for them to take my car around back I had googled and come up with a possible reason I was getting these warning lights - they removed both bumpers and the sensors needed to be recalibrated (I am in no way an expert or knowledgeable with cars). The man came out front to let me know exactly what I had googled and came up with to be the issue. He seemed surprised because he didn’t even know they removed the front bumper - first red flag! They let me know they would be needing to take it to the dealership to be recalibrated and we would now be at the mercy of them but hopefully my car would be ready by Monday. This seemed very unusual to me that a body shop who has been in business as long as they have didn’t know that sensors needed to be recalibrated at a dealership after removing bumpers. Monday comes around, no word from the repair shop. I give them a call and they said the recalibration at the dealership was complete they just needed to go pick up my vehicle and we’re going to clean it for me. They also stated they were still waiting on insurance to send a supplemental payment for the dealership service before releasing the car to me. I asked him repeatedly if that meant I could pick up my car that afternoon/evening and before hanging up he said yes. Yep - you guessed it, they never called me back. Tuesday I waited most of the morning to see if I would receive any news from them and didn’t so I decided to call the insurance company to make sure it wasn’t held up on their end. The adjuster stated she sent them the additional payment FRIDAY! That they should have already received what they needed. At this point, I’m exhausted from the whole entire situation. I work at a local hospital here in Tyler and as all of this COVID-19 stuff is happening, the last thing I wanted to be dealing with is the extra stress of dealing with this. I called them at 4:30pm because I still hadn’t heard from anyone at the shop and knew they’d be closing soon. Immediately they said yes, your car has been ready! We’ll see you when you get here. So I had to leave work during my shift to be sure and make it there before they closed and was handed my keys with no apology, no excuse, no explanation, nothing. It is now Thursday and I have enterprise calling me asking me where the car rental is because the body shop didn’t let them know I dropped it off Tuesday. I feel I could go on and on about what all they could have done better but the truth is, all of it would have been forgotten had a simple apology come from the shop when I picked up the car. There was so much miscommunication, mixed messages from multiple parties at the shop, and customer service was lacking completely. I don’t hope to publicly shame any individual person there but I do hope to bring light to a poor situation and be a lesson as how to better do business with clients in the future.
By far the best place for auto collision repair in east Texas. The staff is friendly and knowledgable in what they do. I work out of town and gave them a heads up on my time in town and they made the timeline. I’m overly satisfied with their work. As well as, the lifetime warranty they stand on.
The claim adjuster I had was very kind and professional. The problem I had with Davis & Green is the repair shop. When I first went to pick my car up after repairs their was a noticeable gap in where the bumper and trunk met. The guy agrees and keeps the car. I come back again because they say the car is now repaired. I go back and nothing has been done to the bumper. They keep the car. My claim adjuster talks to the head of the shop and they agree the gap isnt normally. They order another part and on the third attempt my car is fixed. Now the side of my bumper is coming apart 🤬. I have heard good reports about the auto repair service of Davis and Greene. But my experience was not up to the reputation of this company. Very disappointed!

Unsatisfactory job on my vehicle. The difference on the painting work is very noticeable. The pieces are not aligned. When I brought the details to the attention of the manager he spent sometime giving excuses and explaining that I was wrong....In my opinion, in this type of work it is very easy...without further technical details...if the difference is noticeable the work was not well done!!In response to your reply...I invite you to take a look at the vehicle (by yourself!). And from now on do not trust the Production Manager, your File Handler and the Quality Control Manager. The differences are more than evident under the unqualified eye. Please provide your name, title, and number, so I can contact you directly.Well...waited three weeks for the owners response, but never had one.I ask State Farm and an alternative workshop to look at the vehicle.They both concluded there was a bad job performed to my vehicle!!!...I took my car to East Texas Collision Repair to have it re-worked.The insurance paid for it...Thank you State Farm and East Texas Collision Repair for fixing my vehicle after a bad work made by Dave-Green....The bill...$187.90...Yes, that was the amount saved by Dave-GreenEast Texas Collision Repair, besides good is inexpensive.

First and foremost, I never write reviews regardless of how bad of experience I have had with a company, but visiting this business today was truly saddening. I went to this shop to get a simple estimate on the cost to fix some minor damage on my vehicle, but what took place while I was waiting to be assisted is what floored and saddened me the most. There was a Hispanic man in the office trying to get assistance with his vehicle as well but unfortunately did not speak English. The young man from the Enterprise station they also have located in the shop was assisting Stewart (a man who worked there) and the Hispanic man by translating for them. After a long conversation Stewart walks off and makes his eyes all big as if he’s irritated at the fact there was a language barrier. What floored me next was the older woman at the front desk (I think I heard someone call her Liz) starting laughing after Stewart started making facial expressions about the situation. To see this type of treatment still happen to this day is truly sad. I understand everyone has bad days BUT don’t express your frustration (if that’s even what it truly was) while working, ESPECIALLY in front of other customers. Needless to say I will more than likely take my car to a different location simply because of what I witnessed. The $2500 I was quoted probably isn’t anything but pocket change to a company like this, but they should definitely work on their customer service skills as something as small as this will run business away. On a good note, the other young lady at the front counter was very kind!
Davis Green did an excellent job with my repairs. They’re even buffed out a couple of other spots on my car (at no cost) where my teenagers had scraped up my paint! They could do a slightly better job of communicating, but I just called if I wanted an update. I have complete peace of mind knowing that the job is done right.

The friendliness, willness to talk to me, call me back when they said they would, email me updates each week, great customer service was matched only by the wonderful job they did on the repairs!!! My rear bumper got scratched pretty bad, so I brought my car to Joe Hudsons. They were proffessional from the beginning and keep me updated on the status of my repairs on a daily basis. Would highly recommend them. They did a first class hit quality repair.
