Honest about the issues. If it’s something outside of their spectrum, such as an ecu issue...they’re honest about itOther shops will diagnose it as another issue just to get work done...speaking from experience...but these guys were honest.Because it was an ecu issue...it had to go to the dealership. However, if I have any other car troubles in the future...I will be going with these guys.

Let me start by saying these folks are top notch. They will be my go to if needed. Now to the details. My Daughter attends University of Alabama and was getting ready to drive home to Virginia for Christmas break when her car wouldnt start. Not the way anyone wants to start their day. She was on campus at the time and called UA motorist assistance for help. They jumped her car but suspecting there was a problem with the charging system we told her to ask UA motorist assistance for recommendation for a local shop. She was obviously upset and was planning to start the 725 mile drive home earlier that morning. She ended up taking the car to Mike Minors and they worked her into the schedule immediately. They diagnose the problem to be a bad alternator, called me in VA to discuss and then replaced it and had her on the road within an hour and a half. The cost ended up being much less than I had imagined based on my quick research that morning. I am very pleased with the way the folks at Mike Minors took car of my daughter. I highly recommend these folks.

Had an air-conditioner fixed in the winter during that brief period when its actually cool here. Good price, quick service. I went out of town for a long while. Returned in the spring and took it in since it wasnt cooling. They found the leak, recharged it, no charge. Strangest part, I didnt develop other problems with other parts of the car like I have with some shops.Went back recently with an electrical problem with an old Buick. The part is no longer made. After a lot of searching and even ordering and checking an alternative, these guys found the part for me in a rural junk yard parts supply. I bought it, had it shipped to them for the repair. OUTSTANDING! Oh, and still no other problems.

Not very good mechanics. Cant actually diagnose a blown gasket. Let alone make sound decisions. Money grabbers, stay away.

Got my Timing Belt, Clutch Slave Cylinder, and all the trimmings done for my 1985 300zx here. Crazy low price for service (i provided most of the parts from Druid Auto Parts, they buy from here too but mark it up a little)Like a third of the price from others offering the same service. A couple hundred dollars cheaper than one of my dads friends who works on all of our cars back home.Been more than 10k miles and it is running better than ever.

Too expensive. Seems like other problems popped up after I took it there. Wires for the radiator fan were left loose and caught in the belt cutting the wires. Only noticed once the car started over heating. Had to replace the fan assembly.

Mike went above and beyond to help my daughter with her vehicle. I would highly recommend this establishment.
