I mailed something to Turlock using the priority express service that I needed delivered to the door, not put in the locked mailbox. When I found out it had been placed in the box, I called across the country just on the chance that maybe the mail carrier could remove it from the mailbox and deliver it to the door, and they took care of it immediately. Very pleasantly surprised!
The worst service. I have packages missing that appear to have already been delivered. Came to check if they were at the post office and no body seems to be able to find them, probably being stolen by the mail post driver. Employees are incompetent and undertrained.

Im pretty sure theyre stealings packages here, I havent gotten any small packages that get handed to the usps for delivery in over a month, even if its from different companies/places. Its only the small packages so thats smart of them I guess because no one there cares enough to stop it.
This fraud post office. They held my mail for 33 days no mail delivered to my address. Then they delivered my dmv paperwork and tags to my neighbor along with my unemployment paperwork. Now I received my daughter social security disability and it’s clearly been open before I got it out of the mail box. Mind you this paperwork has my 7 year old social security number on it. I feel very upset and violated.. if I could give 0 star I would have.
My mail delivery person just looked my box and just drove off without taking my outgoing mail!! Really?
Mail states delivered at mailbox; however received a slip about a false incomplete payment of 2.30. Will contact establishment Monday and come back with an update. However, it is fraudulent to state my packages as delivered and than place a slip in the mailbox stating package couldnt be delivered due to missing payment.
So many negative nancys. ALWAYS FRIENDLY HERE. i dont go here often but when i do the staff does their best to kill the line. They always greet me and one lady even remembers me from a couple years ago... again i dont go often but when i do go they are always helpful.
As always the staff is friendly and ready to help anyway they can. Lines are usually reasonable and they work hard to get you out in a timely manner.

We never go to the Turlock post office, but we were in town and needed to drop off a package. I walked into this establishment, waiting. During this time, I was able to observe how the ladies at the counters treated some of their customers. They were rude, No patience when answering questions. Overall seemed just being there was a burden. I walked up to the counter the lady who helped me seemed like she had no idea what she was doing. I was there 15 minutes before my husband finally said we will go somewhere else. We went to another post office who was quick, Polite and helpful. something this establishment lacks. This is the greatest post office I have ever been to in my 24 years of life. The customer service is on point, and the employees do not act like your typical government employees. Rather, they show respect, kindness, with humor (when appropriate) with their customers. They are very efficient! When I have to go to this post office I do not consider it a chore or bothersome.

Im not sure how to account for the wide disparity of experience - Im guessing most people only post when theyve had a stunningly bad experience - but I always appreciate my visits to the post office and am always surprised by how fast it is, especially when the lines are long, or when the customers at the counter have dozens of parcels or cant communicate easily or otherwise need more time and help than others. The line always moves quickly, theyre always helpful, and they still take the time and effort to smile and be friendly, even when a lesser person would be tearing their hair out. It is not an easy job taking care of 70,000 customers through the same single office theyve had since the town had 15,000 people, and I always feel like theyre doing it admirably. So please take a second while youre in line behind a frustrating customer and remember that the employees did not put them there and have had to deal with a hundred more like them and will continue to have to do so for another hundred after youre gone. Smile and treat the employees like human beings and I CV promise you they will return the favor.

Never answer the phone, ever. Sometimes instead of delivering package theyll leave a sorry we missed you tag in my mailbox instead of delivering it to my home (btw Im home). When I go to post office they always say it must have been a different driver today line. No one takes responsibility.
I run an online business and spend $40,000 per year with the post office. This morning I Had about 150 packages ready to go out and I had placed them by the door in several USPS bins. The carrier came in and quietly set my mail on the FLOOR and started to leave.We stopped him and asked if he would be taking care of our outgoing mail... he replied that he didnt have room. Are you coming back with a truck to pick it up later? we asked. He explained that the soonest he could come by would be 5PM, and he asked if we would still be there... Yes we will we replied. 5:15PM and hes a no show.We call the Post Office and Sandi says that he already went home for the day.... as if that answer should be acceptable to us.Did EVERYONE go home? We ask, a little irritated that we have to insist on basic customer service.No, NOT EVERYONE, Ill send someone over Sandi replies.6:22PM We leave the office without anyone ever coming to pick up our outgoing mail.

5 to 10 minute wait sometimes, but the employees are super nice, smart and concerned about your box or letter getting from here to there. Get forever or specialty stamps. Change your address or get a PO Box. Been serving Turlock a long time.
Turlock USPS is making a habit of delivering others mail to my address. Theyve also delivered several tracked packages intended to me to incorrect addresses; those packages havent been recovered. Phone is always busy! UPS is a much better option for shipping.

A friend mailed me a book from California on the 24th of June, it it July the 12th and still no book. I live in Central Florida! I checked tracking history and all there is, is....package arriving late and it shows that its still in Turlock California. I called the post office today, spoke with a very bored, indifferent lady who opened a case. I was hoping that speaking with a person might shed a light as to the whereabouts of my book, but I expected too much. All I received was a laconic your package is arriving late, should have arrived on the 1st. I understand that things happen, things get misplaced, but what I do not understand is the lack of interest, the lack of an apology....A nice word goes a long way.PS. In order to speak to a representative I had to listen to the most annoying music for 41 min!!!
The mailman who delivers to Sierra Oaks rather spend time flirting with the office manager than deliver mail. In the last 6 years ive never had an issue getting my mail until i moved here. My tax documents, sales license, and packages have stated they are delivered when they are not. He also delivers in plain clothes every day with his mailman uniform on the seat. I have received my mail scanned via email since the feature became available and always got my items until i moved here and had to deal with the current mailman. Its infuriating to not receive important items that i have paid for and im unable to file a claim for lost items with the sender due to tracking stating it was delivered in my mailbox. Im currently out over $450 due to this mans negligence.
The last couple of times I’ve gone in to ship something I’ve gotten bad customer service. The ladies are rude and not helpful. I prefer to go to another town to ship my things than deal with their attitudes.
I live in Chicago and my brother live in Turlock California. Ten days ago I send him a parcel and it came back to me for reason ( No such address)., I verified the address from my brother and it was correct and send the parcel again, guess what, I received it again today for the same reason, (no such address).I goggled the address and its correct.
The delivery person has flat out lied and said that my dogs were outside & they couldn’t deliver my package when I intentionally left my dogs inside since I knew I had a package coming for Mother’s Day. I didn’t get the package & I work 9-5 myself & cant pick it up until next Saturday. They won’t redeliver it. I’m pretty upset. Thanks for ruining Mother’s Day because you’re lazy. If I could give you a zero, I would. Especially when I paid for shipping only to have to go drive & get it myself.
I have been dealing with this post office for the past 9 years and have found them to be friendly and helpful both at the front counter and at the bulk mail Dept.

This is a wonderful place now that they have a new Postmaster. Who will go the extra mile to make sure you get your packages and mail.They have a new program going on where, you can choose to receive emails from the Usps on what mail you will be receiving on that day, it is done 6 days a week. What a wonderful wonderful program. I absolutely recommend to everyone in the Turlock Ca area to sign up for this program, with a lot of people in Turlock getting their mail stolen, this is the best program ever. Get on line go to Usps and sign up for this program. The problem is called “Informed Delivery Daily Digest”. And sign up!!!! You will be so happy you did!!!! So, I thank our USPS in Turlock Ca on Main St. for the job y’all are doing for us all in Turlock California. Thank you, Shawn 🙏
Gave 1 star because no stars was not an option. The worst service of any company ever known. I call and after 2 1/2 minutes, recording says wait time between 25 and 38 minutes for carrier problems. What company says that amount of time? Then at 37 minutes some tool of a worker hangs the phone up. I was calling to complain about mail and packages not being delivered at all, yet it says they were. Ya maybe, but wrong address. I live in Turlock and just received mail for a Denair address. The numbers were not even close, the name of the street was not even close, and even the city was not even close. Worst company ever. It doesnt take any skills to sort your own mail for the houses that you deliver most items to except being able to read.Enough said. Just do your jobs right.
I was served by Baljit at the counter. The facility was out of some of the items I wanted (stamped postcards etc) but Baljit was persistent and patient in trying to locate every possible cabinet in the back.I do wish to say something about this location in general. I have been here quite a few times, and I have not experienced even a hint of what these other comments are saying (rudeness, laziness, etc). I have been treated with respect, courtesy, and a can-do attitude every time.And let me add to that.. I am a 35-year quality management professional, trained to notice root causes that lead to quality problems in products, service and delivery.

I have had my neighbors newborn social security delivered to my mail box. Two days ago I got a email notification about my packaged delivered since it had a tracking number. I did not receive it. Im trying to call this in and no one picks up!
Recently I went in and asked about a certain shipping option and the lady (angela) that was open was very rude and inconsiderate. She may have had a bad day but the way she belittled me and was so openly disrespectful about how I should know already I politely said, I will wait for the next open window. The gentlemen I went to next was FANTASTIC. I would have given it 1 star if it were not for him. He gave me the look like I know exactly what you are talking about with my previous person worked with. Perhaps she is rude and belittling to people all the time, or perhaps it was a bad day. All I know is that she had an option of having some grace and showing some kindness but instead she chose to be just plain mean.
Phone is always busy. Cant count the number of times they have screwed up my packages.

Always get slips to pick up my packages. Packages come ripped and smashed. Our mail delivery person is decent, sometimes tracking says delivered but didnt get the package yet.
Not sure how the office is but my carrier sucks. Whoever it is NEVER takes my outbound mail. I ve even written a Not w n taped to my mailbox....NOPE...i ll get mail but they STILL leave my outbound mail. They are lazy n need to disciplined.

I have always loved visiting the post office in Turlock Ca.I have always found the help behind the desk helpful and always friendly to me. I guess I have been a simple guy and only wanted to do simple things.. so I have never had too many complaints about the Post Office or its staff.Ive always thought of the post office as a really special place where I get a chance to see my neighbors and people of my city, and this is alright for me.I remember the one time I did have a problem with the Post Office it wasnt with the post office as much as it was with some white-supremacist/general-hatred-monger who had plastered one of the signs surrounding the PO Truck parking in the back with a sticker that said some dumb white job loss BS that blamed everything but white imagination on white job loss...I told one of the workers there about the sticker and that it has offended me for as long as I have been going to the PO in Turlock. The very next time I visited my PO Box that filthy white-ignorance sticker was gone and the sign looked better than ever.Thanks To My Post Office I Feel A Little Love Every DayCheers
Their website is incorrect. They dont do passport service anymore. I even tried calling to double check with them but they never picked the phone up. Hope you have a ride to Modesto people.
This is by far the WORST post office I have been to. The parking is a joke! They never answer the phone! I paid for the lock to get changed on my mail box and that was LAST WEEK I still have no mail key! Ive never seen such lazy rude workers like this facility!
Worst post office in all of America, And Ive been to thousands of them. They never answer the phone, they are extremely slow every time Ive been in. They take a week to find a package(literally). This location is a complete waste of American tax dollars.

When I signed up for a P.O. Box they told me that I could have packages delivered and they would ensure I would receive it. I thought this is perfect with all the odd hours I work I can ensure that my package would be in my box. I was WRONG! I received notice that my package was delievered and picked up by Shelly in the mailroom. Friday afternoon at 1:30. No problem I will pick it up Saturday Morning. Saturday morning no package. Stand in line wait for the office to open. Tell the clerk Im here to pick up my package. She looks at and says those dont get handed out until later in the afternoon. I tell her it was delivered yesterday afternoon. She then tells me the sign posted states all mail is delievered by 11:30AM. Okay we are now going to follow the posted sign rule. Come back at 11:30 still no package. Wait in line again, now she wants to tell me well it wont be delievered until later that afternoon. Really?!! Long story short 3 days later still dont have my package. FYI call the 800 number and file a complaint. They have to complete a full investigation and report those findings back to you. The customer service is awful! Closing my box and filing a complaint Monday morning.

Keep losing our packages when delivered to the community mailbox. We keep getting confirmation emails that a package has arrived, but the key to the package box seems to get placed in our neighbors’ mailbox. After many contacts with supervisors, we never get the matters resolved and we have to reorder the items to be delivered.
Priority mail? More like lost mail. Every time I use their services my mail is delayed or even lost. Its never been on schedule or been delivered by the expected date. And when you request for them to hold the package they ignore that and send it out for shipment anyways, just to have it go back to the post office later for pick up but magically it isnt there even when you go and try to pick it up from the office itself.
I had to call literally more then 10 times until someone answered! My friend dropped off a letter for me & forgot to stamp it, I called & they said itd get back to me in a few days, its been more than a week & nothing!!!

Our mail is constantly not delivered properly. Amazon says it is delivered to our mailbox but its not there. At least 5 separate occasions this has happened. Local phone number is nothing but busy and when calling the 1800 number it says hold time to speak with someone is greater than one hour. Really????????
