I was traveling and scoped out other gyms who wanted 50 bucks for a week pass. I signed up for a $10 month membership and used the gym the entire week. It was always clean, not crowded, and everything worked as expected. The staff were professional and it was easy to scan in and out. Best value for money I have seen in a gym in a long time.

I really liked the gym, it was not too crowded considering the time of day, it didnt have that stinky gym smell which is great. Plenty of exercises to choose from.The only thing I really didnt like was that the leg press only had one bar so the Max on it is 810 nothing like my 2100... but its all good just means I need to do 4x the sets.Great staff very knowledgeable very friendly too and the staff and guests appear no be non judgmental which is awesome.

Great place to workout!! Just hope they can do something with ventilation, it feels pretty stuffy especially with everything thats going on. Also itll be great if they get better wi-fi.

I was there yesterday at night time. The guy at the front desk was very nice. And at Each workout station there has a sanitation area. And the gyms always clean 👌

People were in there slamming weights. Usually they make them stop. When I brought it up to the front desk, she said yeah theyve been doing it all morning and blew me off. I left, I wont put up with that. I will be speaking to management. Their who motto is a comfortable environment.

This was my first time back since the shutdown and I was curious to see how well they were enforcing covid restrictions, unfortunately they failed in enforcing mask wearing. There were two males working out and moving throughout the gym walking past several staff members without anything being said. I approached one of the staff members and asked them why they werent enforcing mask wearing and all the employee did was kinda shrug his shoulders and walked away. If you are going to advertise that your following local and state requirements for mask wearing then you should enforce them so other people can feel safe while they workout. Other then that one issue, the gym was very clean and machines were tagged to enforce social distancing requirements

Very friendly staff, clean equipment and a great gym for anyone besides those who are really trying to be body builders in my own opinion.

Went to try to get a membership and was spoken to very rudely. Meegan or Megan was not friendly. When you come into a gym you want to feel welcomed because it’s already a feeling like you will be judged for being overweight and you get self conscious. Did not make me feel good or welcomed. Very rude. Will go to another location.

Have loved the club for a few years.. But they refuse to fix the Wi-Fi... The line I got today was, though we advertise free Wi-Fi the fact you dont pay for it should lower your expectations nice excuse

The wifi doesnt work and for some reason I dont get signal inside. They also dont have stationary bikes that mimic an actual bike the ones they have the a seat is like a chair and not like a bike.

Its a good gym, but there is a lot of homeless around there, and might harass you. Also might break in your car if they see change in there. Plus one has 2 dogs, with one running around with no leash. They need to call and remove them, before you see a bunch of drug abusers passed out on Heroin, and leaving needles everywhere.

Its very affordable! And especially clean during covid season, everyone gets down to business and not too many people hogging machines due to occupancy restrictions.

I’m irritated that I keep getting charged for time not being used. The gym was shut down in April and the I was charged in March. Then charged this month and also charged my annual fee- but I paid for a whole month and couldn’t even use it. All I can do is go down and talk to the manager nothing can be solved over the phone. I’m canceling my membership now.

Like this place. People are nice. The only complaint I would have is that some people go into the 30 min workout area and do not switch machines.. last time I was there, 3 people were sitting on machines playing on their phones.. 20 min later, still on their phones.. its very frustrating.

Yes, the facility is clean but my only concern is that I was there for just over an hour and only saw a staff member go around one time and not even to wipe machines down, which I do before and after I use, but to just refill the cleaning solution. Watching other member wipe down machines is one of the main reason I do before and after. Other than that, felt great to get back to it!

Very friendly staff. They do a great job of maintaining the area clean. New owners just took over and their new policy says you cannot bring bags to the floor and no equipment of your own. I liked bringing my own jump rope since they don’t have any, but now it is not allowed. The trainer on site is great. They have nice dressing rooms. There is no pool or a sauna. You do not get towel service either. It’s a great starter gym.

At the end of the day all gyms are good. If u are looking for a less expensive but still have all the equipment this is it. Get in here burn some calories

Went in not knowing anything about fitness so I took some classes with Lucia, even her light work outs are enough to make you sweat. I highly recommend taking some of her classes to get an idea of what you need to do to meet your fitness goals. She can also help you learn how to use the equipment and if needed, help you work out. The facility is clean and the staff always friendly. Honestly A+ service all around.

I normally have a very great experience when I come to this gym, but today was by far the worst experience Ive had. Another member and I of this gym were waiting for a while to be checked in. This girl who had us waiting looked like a new employee (she was wearing glasses) and she was talking with another member and did not acknowledge us until she finished speaking with the other member. Normally when I come to this gym employees are quick to welcome and check me in even if they are helping or talking to other members.

Its an okay place if youre looking for a quick workout. My biggest knock against this place is the lack of a scale. It would be pretty nice to have a decent scale with which to track your progress. Also, this is the only gym Ive ever been to where they sometimes hand out free pizza which is very counterproductive to what these people are here for. You can argue that one should be strong enough to not take the pizza but it would be nicer for these people to not serve pizza in a GYM.

Its a great Gym, Staff extremely friendly.For several weeks I have not been able to connect to the wifi. Javier the manager has been trying to help me but has not been able to.I do hope that the owners can get this resolved. I have routine and without the internetI have no motivation to go to the gym.I like planet fitness but sadly I will need to find new gym, if this cant be resolved.

I love Planet Fitness! Its a pretty big gym, everyone there seems to be there for the same reason, workout and not care about what anyone else is doing. I like that theres a variety of workout machines, and restrooms are always clean. Only down fall is no childcare. But I like that its open 24 hours!

Ive been doing the 30 minute classes for 1 1/2-2 months now, with the trainer Lucia....shes the best! She makes all of the classes fun, but also makes you work hard and challenge yourself. I will definitely be continuing the classes with her. You cant beat the price of this gym, with everything they have to offer.

This gym is by far one of the best out of many planet fitness locations I have been too! The place is always clean the people are super nice . I even had an issue come up with my membership a few weeks ago and the manager helped me out right away, she is a very nice young lady with the most beautiful smile ! I definitely recommend this gym for anyone searching for a place to start or continue a healthy lifestyle.

I absolutely love planet fitness! The staff is very friendly and welcoming every time I come in and leave. They are always willing to answer questions. Lucia is the best trainer ever. She really works hard to make sure everyone is treated equally when you take her classes. Her classes are always fun and make you break a sweat. Also a plus is that she brings her own music to get your hyped for your workout! I would recommend taking at least one class with her. You will definitely feel the soreness over the next few days lol. Planet fitness has a great workout atmosphere and is always in tip top shape. Not to mention it is actually clean and organized. And the new 360 machine is amazing. I highly recommend this gym to anyone who wants to workout for a fair price. Plus you get Lucia as a trainer included in your membership!!!

Ive been to several other gyms and so far this is my favorite. The trainer, Lucia Lopez, is very motivating, friendly, and her classes are amazing. The thirty minutes fly by listening to music. She offers multiple classes and I cant say one is better then the other. I recommend her classes and if you have any questions she answers them gladly. By far one great trainer.

This place has all the basics for what most people would want from a gym. One can fully work out all of the different body parts using the machines and free weights here. If you are training for Mr. Olympia or anything hard core like that, this might not be the place for you. Otherwise this is a great gym.

Very clean environment. Friendly personal. I have been working out at this location for almost a year now. At first I was nervous and had doubts. But thanks to the amazing help I received from Lucia Lopez all those insecurities went away. I felt motivated when I started taking her classes and felt very secure of myself when I started seeing the results of her work out routines. If you havent yet worked out with her, I strongly recommend you to do so. She is amazing, patient and you will see results. Best trainer ever

I love all PF sites. I hate going to the gyn because i always felt uncomfortable but going into PF i dont feel like im being judged or looked at as much. Usually going to the gym i feel like people are looking at mw judging me and making fun of me. I feel like PF really is a judgment free zone like they claim. The classes are really cool too. I also likw having th Black Card to tan and use the massage beds. They also have this cool new whole body enhancement machine with red light therapy that is sooooo awesome.

Cancelled membership as I only went 2x in all these years.

Nice clean showers. The area felt a bit sketch especially at 8pm, but there were teen girls walking around like nothing so i dunno. Didnt seem that crowded.

Planet fitness in Turlock is an awesome gym. They have a good staff and they also have a phenomenal trainer and her name is Lucia. Shes a trainer that knows her craft very well. She is friendly, motivational and easy to approach. I highly recommend anyone to take her workout classes because she will definitely make you break a sweat, and will help you achieve your ideal body.

Ive been coming to Planet Fitness since February and Ive lost a total of 35 lbs! I started off by taking the classes with Lucia the trainer and she is sooooo amazing! She pushes you but also understands your limits. My work schedule changed so I cant really attend her classes anymore but I incorporate a lot of her exercises to my workout routines and they do wonders! She really inspires me to keep working hard in order to reach my goals! She is seriously the best! Give her a raise :)

Clean and open 24 hours. Ive only seen machines unavailable for service or maintenance a handful of times in about the 12 months Ive been a member.Sucks that they only give you one five minute token for the massage chairs now instead of two, but thats what happens when dudes take em home instead of dropping them into the machine for whatever reason.

I wish they had a punch card or something yoy can purchase so your guests can use the massage and other amenities. I bring my 14 yr old niece, and she cant use them and she has to be 18 to sign up.

I love working out here. Definitely non-judgemental. The only thing I dislike is it they give out Tootsie Rolls at the front counter and have a day for free pizza. I dont really understand why they would do that to people

The machines are great, only the locker rooms always smell, and a lot of the surfaces like the floors or tables are grimy.

I have been coming to this gym for over 2 years. And I have been training, with Lucia for the last year, she is extremely helpful and encouring for people to be able to meet whatever goal they have. She is very motivating always in a positive mood and will work out with you! Highly encourage everyone to work out with her and check out her classes you won’t regret the results.

I’ve been at platness fitness since July 2018. I’ve always struggled with my weight. After a couple months later I met Lucia pf, trainer. She’s amazing she has taught me so much. She goes the extra mile to help you. I’ve lost 40+ pounds so far. I can honestly say I wouldn’t have been able to do it without her. No giving up when your training with her! She pushes you!Can’t wait to keep at it!

This place needs a space for the lady to do her classes. She literally kicks everyone out of the 30 min cardio area to do her classes and if u don t join her class u have to go workout elsewhere. I m a black card member and this is ridiculous. I m paying to go here yet get kicked out of an area just so she can do a class. These classes NEED their own room or area that doesnt disturb other members.

Quite a bit of people, but not too crowded. Overall a pretty Pleasant gym.

If you’re a minor make sure your parents sign the waiver even if they say you don’t need it signed at the moment because after continually going they will randomly not let you go in and make your parent come and sign it which is absolutely absurd. (Btw I posted this with their free WiFi)

Love that its 24hrs and the benefits of the black card membership

Can beat 24hours, the only place that can keep up with my hectic work schedule. The temperature is always cool which is great and for the most part machines are well maintained so no complaints here.

Very clean, friendly staff. Gets kind of crowded in dumbbell area and in the side room where the mats are. Only smith machines, no free-weight barbell, squat rack, deadlift area. Very good value, would recommend for anyone looking to get started with fitness!

Overall, this is a good clean gym with a decent membership price. The only bummer is that they dont have decline or incline benches (you either use the smith machine or free weights on a bench thats folded up/down), no hack squat machines, and no regular squat racks. Would be perfect if they had these three! And its too bad they didnt have the space for an aerobics room...so no classes offered here. Other than these things, I give it 4 stars. Staff is always super nice and check you in quickly. Restrooms are usually fairly clean.

I like this place,they have alot of equipment, friendly staff, its a judgement free gym and members are allowed to bring a guest for free, they also have message beds and tanning beds, if thats what you like.And you can stay as long as you like !

I am a regular member of the Turlock location, and am very happy to say that I am very satisfied. Although I am unable to set a regular schedule I am there at least 4 times a week (work times vary) I can always rely on an awesome attitude and upbeat personality from the trainer Lucia Lopez. She is very knowledgeable and informative of working out either on equipment free weights or simple exercising. I decided to take the time to write this quick review because I really appreciate being able to talk to a person who knows what Im asking and knows how to answer thoroughly without making you feel anything but motivated and good about keeping in shape. Hats off to Lucia keep up the good work you truly are a credit to planet fitness👍💪

Super friendly staff, always really clean, and never too busy.

This Gym is after the money. I sign up on the 3rd and by the time I am a member for two months I will have paid two months and 1/2 worth of membership. Right now I been a member for less then a month and payed for 1 month and 1/2 when i called to cancel the membership they told me that be $60. Your joking, I been here one time and you push me off like I wasnt here. Didnt show me were any thing was and just help the others. Do not give them your money or time. I rather pay more for a gym who has employees who tell you about what they offer then ignore me. You pay for what you get!
