My son has been attending Motion Tulsa after care and summer camp and absolutely loves it. As a parent I love everything about it too, they keep him safe and he has fun.He also does parkour and I love those days because he comes home exhausted!
So happy we found this place! Everyone has been so kind and friendly! The facility itself is always clean and nice. My 7 year old and I drive almost an hour multiple times a week for class and I have to say it is completely worth it. He enjoys all the new things he gets to learn and do, and I love watching him get more confident in himself everyday! Thank you Motion Tulsa! Keep up the great work and you will have a customer in us for years to come!
Child loves the classes and differences in skill development from week to week. He feels challenged weekly to grow and strengthen his skills and character.
It was ok. Signed up my daughter for the 5 to 7 yr old class and it turned out to be kinda disorganized with the lead teacher changing her mind on what to do quit a bit and the kids being chaotic as a result, and the kids were told to hush and quit talking a lot which I didnt like. My daughter was hushed for squealing Im excited! And she didnt really enjoy participating. She was also kinda mocked by another kid in class and he wasnt corrected so we just left.
Regarding Summer CampPros: Great leadership, communicatuon, structure/ programming, organization, and facility. In general the staff have good training and are higher caliber than some programs.Cons:Over booked/ over crowded- especially considering weekly cost per student (our kids went the first two weeks of summer) - while they technically have acceptable numbers based on their accreditation, it would be a much better experience overall with a 1:15 or so ratio and fewer kids in the progarm overall. The activity room is really not designed to comfortably accomodate 80+ kids, and its uncomfortable even for short time periods. Not enough attention to children as individuals. Not enough snack/ water breaks given how active the program is.Overall, I would recommend this program, but I suggest choosing weeks later in the summer when its likely less crowded.
Both of my kids love Motion Tulsa. The staff is very nice and friendly.
A+++ designed facility for youth classes - the Parkour space keeps kids challenged and continually growing to achieve their goals. The head instructor and owner, William is a leader in the youth martial arts and parkour community!
Mr Pierce has a top notch facility that he runs like a well oiled machine with excellent customer service where kids can come and have fun learning parkour and make good friends.
Our son loves Motion Tulsa for Parkour Class, Summer Camp and After School Care! Great staff and wonderful communication with us.
My daughter attends classes here and she loves it. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
A very professional and safe facility. They do a great job! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Love the classes for my son! The staff does a great job of combining classes with every day lessons.
Super clean, super fun and will turn your kid into a super ninja!
Awesome place, my kid loves it & always looks forward to his parkour class!
My grandson loves this training.
Love this place! They are great!
My son has attended Spring Break and Summer day camps at Motion Tulsa and has really enjoyed it. They go to parks, swim (Summer), play games in the gym, and have an activity area with legos, board games, and art supplies. I have felt he is well cared for by the staff there, who greet him by name and are welcoming and encouraging. William Pierce, the owner, provides a safe and fun environment with structure, but enough variety to keep the kids interested. As the name indicates, the kids engage in plenty of physical activity throughout the day. My son, who was 6 and 7 the 2 years he has attended, has really enjoyed it and made some lasting friendships. We have done other camps, and Motion is a bargain and is better and more professionally staffed than most others. Motion does not have older kids watching and entertaining you child. Young adults who act professionally and appropriately are caring for your children at Motion. I highly recommend it.
Run by good people.
Great place for kids
This place is so much fun and the instructors are amazing and energetic. Everyone is friendly and the process is Easy to get signed up. Classes will work you good! But so much fun!
Great program and instructors!
They are very attentive to your child’s specific needs and work hard to keep them structured and have fun at the same time. We love Motion!
Love the programs at Motion Tulsa! The staff if so friendly and flexible, and they do a great job teaching new skills to the children in their classes. My son, who is not too interested in traditional team sports, has found a place where he excels! He loves the parkour classes and is improving in flexibility, coordination, determination, and self-discipline. My daughter also loves the classes and the encouraging environment has given her the confidence to tackle new challenges.
My 8 yr old was enrolled in the after school program and Karate class. The first couple of weeks he liked being there. After that he started complaining that the after care staff yelled too much and were mean. I didnt see evidence of this but as the days past he was increasingly insistent that he didnt want to go. We already enrolled him in the Summer camp so we lost our deposits for that. He liked the Karate and Master William but we had no way to continue the early Karate classes. The staff expressed an appropriate amount of concern and contacted us for details about our sons experience to see if they could correct any staff issues. My personal observations were that they seemed to have too many kids. Aftercare seemed crowded. The Karate class had about 30 kids being taught by 1 person. There is absolutely no way, no matter how good of a teacher you are, that you can adequately maintain the attention and discipline of 25 to 30 young kids. The owner and senior staff are good people and I hope they can resolve their issues.
My 6 yo son Loves Motion Tulsa. He attends aftercare during the week during which he does martial arts 2 days and parkour 2 days. He has done so great since moving from the old aftercare, we are happy we made the switch!
The kids would rather go here than to school. I dont blame them. Id rather go here than to work too! Its a well run, communicative, and logistically efficient training and caring center.
My son attended Parkour class several months. The amount of confidence he has gained has been tremendous. The coaches are encouraging and helpful to the kids. Also like that the owner sends out articles about child development etc. definitely shows care.
This parkour experience has improved my granddaughters mobility, balance and strength. Also Mr William’s “talks” to the class give the kids help for dealing with bullies and self esteem building. This is the best kids program I’ve seen. Thank you Motion Tulsa!
Great with kids.
My daughter loves the classes. She has improved with school work and has more confidence since attending 3PK. If your looking for a Karate class, look no further. I enjoy watching the lessons. The instructors William and Charlie use positive reinforcement and encouragement to help the students. Great place for all. I recommend 3PK to anyone looking for karate lessons.
My 5yo loves the parkour class! Loads of fun! It is a little pricey, but it’s a truly unique skill they are learning.
My son has been taking lessons since last October and loves it. He has been going to the after care program four days a week - 3 Points has a van route that includes many of the schools in the Tulsa area. The van has always been on time. The atmosphere at 3 Points is so positive and encouraging. Master William and Mr. Charlie have endless energy and enthusiasm. The entire 3 Points team is wonderful!
Reserved a spot for one week of summer camp last Fall when the price was discounted, accidentally chose week 1 but meant to choose week 2. The dates were confusing on website. I talked to William on the phone, he was nice about it and said I could switch with no problem. But everyone I talked to after said my deposit no longer counted and I would need to pay full price....I could not afford it so we never used the deposit and ended up going somewhere else. Too bad, it looks like a lot of fun.
Huge Thanks to the Motion Family, Ive been able to work out and have some stress relief at once! Coming to kickboxing is very therapeutic, going to the gym everyday can get boring. There at Motion you learn a different move/technique every class session.
We love Motion Tulsa! My daughter has been going here for a couple of years now and she just can’t get enough! She does aftercare, Parkour, and karate. Master William is really awesome with the kids. You can really tell he enjoys what he does!
I love everything about this place! The work out is awesome! It’s fun, the instructors are motivating, and you get such a good work out! You walk out feeling so empowered! The staff is beyond wonderful too! I do kickboxing here and my son does Parkour. If I could give more than 5 stars for a rating I would. I would definetly recommend for everyone to give it a try! Everyone there truly cares about you as a person and you always feel like you are apart of the team/family when you come.
My 8 year-old daughter started attending 3PK in the Summer of 2014 as karate camp. After a six week tenure with them, she wanted to move into taking classes on a regular basis. She started out in the white level and has currently graduated into her orange belt. The school not only teaches martial arts but they teach self-esteem building blocks. Master William is exceptional with the kids; getting on their level in regards to their communication and physical abilities, Mr. Charlie is also a dynamic teacher in many respects as well. I highly recommend this school to anyone seeking physical and mental enhancements!!!
Fun experience and out of the ordinary! Great staff and cool facility!! Definitely need to try it out!
My 8 year old son attends 3 Points Karate after school program. It is awesome! I love that they pick up from my sons school. The instructors are wonderful and have a great rapport with the kids and parents alike. They have a karate class, healthy snack and supervised homework every day after school. They also have camps for times when schools are out. This is the best program for a single parent family EVER. I love that he gets to take karate every day.
BE CAREFUL when leaving your banking information on file with this company. They will make UNAUTHORIZED withdrawals from your bank account. They managed to take almost $900.00 from my account in ONE months time. My child attended their After School Program ONCE(3hrs), and their summer program ONE WEEK(5 days). I called to inquire, just asking to speak to the manager (Noel), I was given the 3rd degree just to get her. Most companies ask general questions just to get a manager, but this went beyond the general questions. I finally say, is she not available because the endless questions were getting annoying. She finally says one moment, and instead of getting The Manager I dealt with when agreeing to leave me banking info on file, I get someone named William. This guy was rude and clueless! He told me to take it up with my bank and hung up the phone. Now, I have to go through the hassle of cancelling /changing my debt card, because I gave it to this UNRELIABLE Company.
My 8 year old son with Autism has attended the after school program since January. All of the instructors and staff have been wonderful, and very accommodating of his special needs. We have seen an increase in his confidence, attention span and social skills. Three points Karate has been such a great program for us!
We have been at Three Points since August 2014. My son (5) loves the instruction. I love watching Master William work with the kids. He is really great at balancing discipline and instruction. I have seen him work with all types of kids and he really connects with all personality types in a constructive and encouraging way. I highly recommend Three Points Karate.
Great place! Kids learn & develop their skills in a fun way.
Three Points Karate has been such a great experience for our family! Two of my children have been attending classes with Master William for almost two years and have grown in physical strength, endurance and discipline. Most of all though, I have seen their level of confidence rise three fold! I never would have imagined them wanting to go first (solo) in showing what they have learned and practiced, not being anxious or fearful to be matched with bigger, older opponents in drills and sparring. They feel empowered in and after class. The respect Master William demands and how he gains that respect is truly a gift hes been given. Never do I hear any yelling or derogatory comments made towards the students. 3PK is a very encouraging environment where attitude and trying your best comes first. Not only do the students learn physical karate, Master William teaches character traits each month that he ties into his karate curriculum. Anyone can be successful at this studio! 3PK is also very involved in community with outreaches such as parents night out, bullying seminars, self-defense classes and before and after care for programs in the summer. I absolutely recommend Three Points Karate!!!
My son has been attending karate with Master William for a little over a month now and we are very pleased so far. We were looking for a class that would stress the importance of respect and self control as well as offering a physical outlet and thats exactly what were getting. We had planned to only send our son once a week, but he loves it so much, were now sending him twice a week. Master William is tough on the kids--he doesnt let them get away with anything, but he does it in a dynamic and positive way that the kids really respond to. Its impressive!
The staff is great and my son LOVES it! They also pick up from school if needed and have day camps most any day the school closes. This is great because I usually still have to work if school closes for weather or holidays. We no longer have to pay for day care or after school care AND he gets his energy out all in one. They also set aside time for homework after school. Its been a lifesaver for our busy family!
The gym is very poorly constructed. Possible liabilities are everywhere. They have a horrendous policy about canceling your automatic payments. And on top of that, they are so irresponsible that as of this writing, they are still holding parkour classes in the middle of a pandemic when everyone is being encouraged to stay home and we are under a state of emergency. I wouldn’t trust them with my child. Would you?
Instructors are great! Workout is amazing! Works for any fitness level.
My son has been taking lessons at 3 Points Karate for about 2 years. He loves going to lessons and I love that he enjoys such a positive and focused sport. He gains confidence weekly and takes it very seriously. I think it translates to his attitude as a 2nd grader and at home. Master William sets a great example for my son and all of the kids at his school. He pushes them to do their best without ever being negative or making them feel uncomfortable. He is a wonderful role model. Weve recommended 3 Points Karate to several friends who have since joined and are also having a great experience. Were so happy we found this midtown gem!
My son and daughter take Parkour class. He absolutely loves it and looks forward to going every week.
My kids absolutely love the staff.
My son Curtis attends aftercare here, the staff is PHENOMENAL! with the kids, they do not just help them with their homework and keep them safe but also teach them life’s lesson, the positive feedback and encouragement they give each student is like no other in Tulsa. If you want to see a change in your child for the better, enroll them in 3PK today.
A fun way to build confidence –Ive had the pleasure of watching my childrens confidence grow each week under the leadership of Master William. He is a positive instructor who encourages students to accomplish more than they initially think is possible. And he does it in a fun, engaging manner. For me – self confidence is the most valuable tool a person can have to be successful and in life. And its offered at 31st & Harvard.
I am thrilled to have been able to find a martial arts program with such a rounded approach as 3PK. Our 7yo has embraced the program wholeheartedly, and six months in I am as proud of his character development as I am of his physical. I am very much looking forward to enrolling our younger son as soon as he turns 5.
My daughter started here when she was 6 years old and is still loving it four years later. She is excited to go every day and has made many new friends. I highly recommend Master William and his staff because they are knowledgeable, kid friendly, and reach the students at their level to help them attain mastery.
The people are so friendly and helpful. For a beginner to kickboxing this is crucial!
Three Points Karate works well with all types of children. My son has several disabilities and they are very encouraging and uplifting. William and his staff are very professional and have a true love for Karate and the children. We are very proud to have our son attend Three Points Karate. We would recommend Three Points Karate to anyone who is interested in taking Karate.
My son really likes to go. He shows me his new karate moves and is proud of himself. The staff work well with the kids and make it fun for them to learn karate. They always encourage the students to try their best. I love seeinng my son excited about this.
I adore this place! This is the best thing that I could have ever started in my life. Since starting at Three Points Karate, not only have I gotten more confident with my daily life, my fiance and I have been able to do things that we never thought that we could do. Master William and Mister Charlie have really changed the way that I view almost everything in life. I constantly find myself quoting something that they say in class at work and otherwise. This place is just awesome and I highly recommend it for anyone of any age to come, workout and have fun.
My son attends the after school program and we couldnt be happier. Its a great way to get some physical activity and martial arts training all in a positive, upbeat setting. The staff have high expectations and provide consistent, positive support along they way. Great program!
Super nice staff. Classes are a bit expensive but for what they offer its worth it. If i could afford the after school care program and be able to get a discount on classes (they pick up children from school, give them a healthy snack, help with homework for 30 min, and then they do active activities)....maaaaan that would be awesome for me.It stays crowded.
My daughter has been going here for several years and absolutely loves it. The instructors are great and classes are very enjoyable.
My 8 year old son loves the after-care program. He gets to do karate, have fun with friends, and learn self-discipline. The instructors work really well with the children. My son always comes home excited to show us what he learned in karate.
3PK is an AWESOME place. Master William is phenominal at not only instructing karate but also teaching the children about lifes lessons such as respect, discipline, listening, and treating everyone as an equal. My daughter loves attending and hates to leave. Highly, highly suggest 3PK.
My son has been in Karate at Three Points for two years. The discipline and confidence that he has gained from his time there has been a very positive influence on all other aspects of his life. I would highly recommend Three Points.
My child enjoyed their staff and their quality of care, however their administration and their business strategy are questionable and they are not clear with their practice. First, we enrolled at this location due to their 6:30pm after school pickup time. Their pricing was on point with other locations in the area and the later pickup time gave us some room after work for pickups. Once we were in, the time changed to 6:00pm pickups due to DHS requiring a license for a later stay. This occurred two weeks into our enrollment in the after school care program. On top of that we had numerous auto debit billing issues. On several occasions we were promised that no charge was going to occur, but low and behold they debited our account without our authorization and this was after we had verified with them that this would not be occurring. Both times were misunderstandings or failing to check the right box in our billing program. Just very amateur, not paying attention stuff. I just feel this place is in over their head with DHS regulations and their business plan isnt thought out nor does it provide a great customer experience. They need to consult with professionals in the child care industry to ensure theyre up to code and could use a lesson in customer service. Care was fine, but execution of business plan and explanation of services was poor.
Motions business practices are atrocious!!! Do your research before signing up. See how owner /management handles conflict resolution. The owner has no problem cheating people out of their money.
Master Pierce and his incredible staff bring out the best in their students. The disciplined yet nurturing environment is ideal for kids to thrive in. I highly recommend this school. Dont bother going anywhere else. 3PK is the place to be.
Great classes! The teachers are awesome!
My 7yo son loves this place!
My son loves taking Karate here! He says, The instructors are really fun and so are the drills. This place is awesome!
My son has been going since August. He loves the after school program and he looks forward to the camps! The staff is great!
My son has only been 2 times and cant stop talking about it! I look forward to watching him grow and mature in karate. The staff here is very accommodating.
Great for kids and great staff........ better them than me!
We had a wonderful experience at 3PK. My daughter responded well to the structured, encouraging environment. Charley, Maddie, William, and the rest of the staff are great with the kids. My daughter made friends and learned new skills. We started with lessons, and then used them for summer care/day camp. It was a huge relief to know she was well cared for and having fun when I had to work some long hours. We even had her 6th birthday there, and it was a blast! If we didnt recently move out of state we would still be attending 3PK!
My 4 year old loves 3PK! He has learned discipline and self-control all while having so much fun!
We LOVE the day & summer camps! The staff are amazing with the kids.
Our daughter has been attending Three Points Karate for a year and a half now and we couldnt be happier with the experience. The instructors are knowledgeable and really work well with the children.
The trainers are awesome, always making sure you are doing the moves correctly, if not the help you and show you how to get it right. Varieties of exercise classes and children friendly
So fun! My son loves it!
We recently enrolled in prep classes and are attending a spring break camp and I have been very encouraged by the dedication I have seen in the staff. I really like the positive life messages that are communicated during the classes.
My boys are having an AWESOME time at Spring Break camp!!
Very organized and fun for the kiddos
Very good option to keep children active and learn how to jump without injuring themselves
