These guys are absolutely amazing! First off, I tend to have trust issues with people working on almost anything I own. Not a problem here as Mike and his staff put me completely at ease. They walked me through everything they were installing in my Jeep and worked with me on any placement or mounting issues I had. I had high expectations from these guys given their reputation, and they exceeded them in every way. The system absolutely F’ING ROCKS!! I would actually take my Jeep back for more but don’t think it’s possible to improve on what I’ve already got. If I ever do need anything else, I won’t hesitate to use Boomers.

A most valuable place of both time and price.

My old school 90s MTX car amplifier needed repairs. There was no sound output. I took it to boomers audio shop on a Thursday and by Friday it was fixed. These guys know exactly what they are doing. No other place was able to repair my car amplifier. Since car amplifier repair can only be done by an electronics specialist, most shops wont repair car amplifiers, but boomers audio had no issues repairing it and was able to repair my amplifier in 1 day. Talk about a fast turnaround time. These guys are awesome and the service was great and friendly as well. If you are in need of a car amplifier repair, then go to these guys at boomers audio. They are pros at what they do. Best top car audio repair and installation shop in Tulsa. Great Experience! I met with Mike Hudson and explained I was looking for options to be hands free for phone calls and texts and also have blue tooth capability to stream music. in addition I had questions about installing a back up camera to use while hooking up to My RV. They replaced my 2007 Honda Ridgelines factory stereo into a Kenwood touch screen stereo that has bluetooth, CD/DVD and Apple Car Play. I was able to keep for now my factory speakers and subwoofer. Doug completed the install and explained how to use all my new toys before I left the store. Mike and Doug stayed late after close to tweak a slight sound issue. I went from consultation to install in 2 days. Highly recommend!

Call themselves a car audio shop but wont do any tuning or give any suggestions for upgrades for a vehicle that had work done on it at another shop. First experience with them i went in and asked about upgrading my system. They quoted me 3200 for a basic stereo and speaker setup then said they couldnt give me an invoice for what they were charging for, not very professional.

I had a remote start installed in my wifes car. She loves it. I wanted to do it myself but the cost of the remote start online, and the time involved didnt make it worth it. Also, a friend of mine said that if it isnt made for the car it can destroy the cars computer. Anyway, a couple of hours later and it works perfectly, with a lifetime guarantee.

I bought my 04 Avalanche used 4 years ago, and it had had a remote start/security system installed that was evidently not a common brand to other local shops. My remote for it broke, so I was unlocking my door with the key & unable to use the remote start at all for months until I stopped by Boomers Audio. The owner came outside to take a look right away & was able to get my new remote programmed & the remote start functioning in less than 45 min. even with my whacky system. Great customer service; definitely recommend.

Just called Boomers Audio. I bought subs and an amplifier from Best Buy and then found out they aren’t doing installs right now due to COVID-19. I just called boomers Audio and they wouldn’t install my stuff unless it was bought from them. They did refer me to someone who would do it. Kings Kustom and they did good work.

My factory stereo went out on a trip down here. I called several places, including the VW dealership. All of them recommended I try this place. Man, were they right. They did an awesome job troubleshooting the issue. In the end though, I needed a new stereo. Even though they really didnt have time, they got it installed the very next day. It sounds and works great! I would definitely take any car I have here.

I could not be happier with my experience here at Boomers Audio! To start their customer service is impeccable. Mike the owner was very prompt in returning emails. If he were busy and could not reply in answering my mountain of questions right away then he would shoot me a quick email to let me know he was super busy and tell me a time he could sit down to answer everything, which was always the same day. I am most impressed with Mikes ability to listen to my needs and deliver on every level! I listen to a very broad range of music and wanted clarity, loudness, and boom. I was also on a budget and not once did anyone try and push something I could not afford. I work a lot so Mike offered to pick up and deliver my car to work. When he dropped my car off he explained everything to me again and showed me anything I needed to know. He took my vehicle and gave me everything I asked for and more then I imagined on my budget. Also, the install is meticulous and very thought out. My box allows me to still use my trunk with out damaging anything, hell you cant even tell it isnt part of the car. I can now listen to everything from blue grass to rap and feel like I am right in front of the stage!

Boomers audio is great!! The DVD screens in our van have not been working for awhile. We went to the dealership and they told us we needed two completely new screens. We went to Boomers Audio on a recommendation for a second opinion. They were able to replace the ribbon cable to both screens. Both screens are working perfectly now!!! They saved us $400 and the hassle of having to order and install 2 new screens! They were fast, polite, and fairly priced. We will definitely go back to them in the future!

I was in the market for a remote start. I chose Boomers because, well, Mike. I mean he was already a legend decades ago. I was excited to find out that they are an authorized dealer for the best system, which is Compustar. In fact, while I was there I noticed that they also sell the best brand of speakers, imo, Hertz.I mostly dealt with Tyler, and he was awesome. In fact, everyone that I saw was very friendly, not just to me but to each other, and thats nice to see. Products were thoroughly explained to me, and there was no pressure to upsell me on anything. I did decide to add an alarm system because they offer a discount for doing it all at once. However they will also add an alarm for you at a later date if you decide to. Or you can just get the remote start if thats all you want.The install was done in less than a day. I work evenings and was unable to pick up my car when it was done. They were gracious enough to safely hold my car for me overnight. Thank you! Install also looks clean and professional. By that I mean there is no mess. There are no loose interior panels, no glue droppings, no trash, no clipped wires, no scratches.When I picked up my car, I walked through the shop side, and it was pretty cool to see Mike working on an install himself. So the owner doesnt just sit back, he gets involved. Tyler went over the features with me again and made sure I understood how to operate both the remote as well as the Drone app for my phone.I am very happy with everything, and hopefully I can go back soon and upgrade my audio experience!

This review is way overdue. I had a remote start installed on my wife’s Escape a few months back great work. I selected Boomers because Mike actually responded to most if not all of the negative reviews. I approached him and informed him it was the reason I chose them for the job. He took me into the work bay and showed me the cars and boats they were working on. When you talk to him about their work you can tell they love what they do and are about quality. These guys are artists, and it shows. Will you pay more than some other shops? Probably, But the quality is there and quality is worth paying for. If you want it done cheap go elsewhere. If you want someone performing a quality job on your vehicle or boat go to Boomers Audio.

Love doing business with these guys! Had a remote start installed on our Lexus several years ago. It was very reasonable on price and worked flawlessly for years. Mike saved me hundreds of dollars a few years later when the ML amp went out by shipping it off to be refurbished. Ive sent all of my friends (auto & marine) to them ever since. True CareI took my 01 Civic in for a look at the antenna and remote system. Instead of charging me for diagnostic, they were kind enough to talk about the issues that pretty well told me the diagnosis -a bad specialized antenna and key remote. I got a quote for after market parts and they offered a discount on service if I decided to replace the factory parts completely. These guys are great and have the customers intentions close at heart!

So I said o wow that seems kinda high Best Buys prices are 350$ before I got a chance to ask why it was so high and to ask about quality he sarcastically said fantastic and laughed. Boomers installed an amp, speakers and custom Bluetooth setup for my metric cruiser about a year ago. The install, setup and quality of sound are all very much what I wanted and expected. As the speakers have continued to break-in, sound quality continues to improve. I’m very impressed with this team and their ability to make almost anything imaginable happen. Top notch people, first rate products. Thanks much!Follow-up July 15, 2019 - my system started to generate a lot of noise, i.e., a constant whine while using the Bluetooth option. Went back to Boomers for assistance thinking the $150 Bluetooth adapter was the problem. I was told they don’t break. Conversation with the owner was abrupt, rude and essentially a put down. I’m very capable technically. I tried resetting my phone, same issue. On the off chance it was the Bluetooth adapter, I ordered a $34 adapter from Amazon. Problem resolved plus I save $116. I can buy spares...These guys are very competent and technically capable, but have forgotten it’s the customer that keeps them in business. Chances are your installation will be fine, but their customer service after the sale, in one specific case - it’s terrible, as the impression I was left with was “I couldn’t care less.” I will never, ever go back.

Had a bad experience with a Boomers technician blowing out fuses and causing other electrical problems with my truck. When I pulled in to get work done, nothing was wrong. When I left my cruise control, horn and radio were no longer working. Mike blamed a bad harnesd and wouldnt fix it.

Mike is the best for sure, may find it cheaper but the quality is far beyond that and the customer service is amazing

Got some wiring hooked up for the car and ever since then my horn has a parasitic draw that to this day I still cant figure out why so I have no horn. Would be 5/5 if it wasnt for this problem thats been ongoing for a year and a half.

They installed a new Kenwood DMX905S on my 2002 Lexus SC430. My car is not a straightforward installation and they did flawless work, Mike and his crew are the best.

Had them do an install, they literally tore my car apart and left super glue everywhere. When confronted, they were very reluctant to do anything and said it was like that when they got it. Well I changed their minds after some persuading they ended up buying all the parts they broke and I installed them. I would hire a monkey before I went back to these guys

Installed Remote start in my vehicle. Did a great job and the customer service was excellent!

Tried to sell me an expansive system I didnt want or need. NAV worked, all buttons worked just no sound. I didnt want to give up pairing my phone, NAV and controls on my steering wheel. The owner called his guy to ask about trouble shooting. He told me his guy says that dodge didnt make parts for that system any more and I had to get a new one! Took my truck to Car toys for a second opinion and they said they could trouble shoot it for 25 bucks or so. After 10 minutes of trouble shooting the problem while I waited he came and told me that the amp was blown and that that it was a dealer item. He called the dealer and they could have it in two days and it was 210 dollars. Then he showed me under the dash where it went and showed me how it was an easy install and I could do it my self, four mounting screws and plug in, no wiring or anything. If you want honesty go to Car Toys. If you want to be lied to go to Boomer!

I think they are the only people who are qualified to work on your car audio, because dealerships make mistakes and the fact is that the mechanic will actually show you his work before you even pay, its a big plus and shows you there are good mechanics out there and its nice to be proven wrong.

I had an old 98 Nissan Sentra that was beat to crap. The sound system was awful but I didnt exactly know why. I took it in for a diagnostic and they figured out what was wrong and actually grabbed me to show me instead of letting me take their word for it. They offered to replace my speakers and to check the wiring and only charge me if it needed fixing also. I figured theyd find a problem on install day and charge me for it but they didnt! The end price ended up being lower than they quoted as they were able to use some of the parts already there. Very impressed. They even saved my credit card when I left it there on accident. Ill be returning for sure.

Do some research and educate yourself before shoping here so you dont get ripped off. I went in to get some new speakers for my Harley and a salesman told me I needed to bring the bike in so they could install the speakers and tune my amp. He really didnt want to give me a price for the speakers but finally did but I couldnt get a price out of him to do the install and the tuning. I told him I just put in a new radio and was going to install a handle bar control module and he told me there was no such thing. He told me that he has been doing this for 15 years and has never seen a plug in module and in order to retain my handle bar functions they had to be re-wired to the new radio and of course that cost, again he wouldnt give me an acutal price. Well there is a plug in module with very little wire splicing needed and it works great. It is from Scosche, its the HDSWC1 and I bought it with the radio from Crutchfield and will be buying my speakers from them as well because they didnt feed me a line of crap. I dont mind paying for products and services but dont lie to me about how hard and technical it is to tune my amp and not being able to buy a handle bar control module.

I just had my 4th install in the last 7 yrs done at Boomers. They knocked it out of the park again. Each install has increased in buget, and Mike has worked with me on each one to get the best sound possible for my dollar. My latest install included keeping my factorying navigation head unit and instaling an Audison Bit Ten processor, amplifier, component speakers, and subs behind the seat of my truck. Jared Mitts did a great a job on the install and tuning of the system. I couldnt be happier with the results. If you are looking for a shop that can guide you in the right direction for your budget and squeeze as much quality and sound from your dollar (whether it be a few hundred or several thousand) I highly recommend giving them a visit.
